How to practice The System Yoga in Daily Life
0:35 - 1:44 (69 min)
Recorded on
Systematic practice is essential, not random exercise. Follow the book's clear structure for posture, breath, and duration. Human life involves many duties, unlike animals, but balance is key. We gather to learn, not merely to enjoy temporary comfort. Early yoga classes lacked system, causing confusion for new and advanced students alike. Therefore, a structured system from primary to university level was created. The practice is named to signify its daily application, not to claim exclusivity. The same postures exist everywhere, but the approach here is methodical and non-commercial, focused on health and universal fellowship. Practitioners worldwide connect through this shared path. Core knowledge comes from three essential books: the holy scripture, the yoga manual, and the text on hidden powers. Daily reading is vital. Practice must be consistent; avoid excuses. Even a short daily routine is crucial. The community is built on helping one another and progressing together. "Follow our yoga book. It contains many postures, and while we may incorporate different ones in between, our practice should stay on that path." "Practice, practice, practice as you can, but avoid laziness." Everything is in our heart
1:45 - 1:58 (13 min)
Recorded on
The grace of the guru is experienced through devotion and miraculous presence. People constantly call for the speaker to visit them. A story is told of Mahāprabhujī as a child going with cows that ate from a farm; despite concerns, Gurujī said it would result in more for the owners, and it did. The speaker describes visiting places associated with Mahāprabhujī, who is meditating deeply. Another figure stays in the jungle, refusing to enter a house even for food. People question the speaker's absence over years, but the speaker cites health. The essence is that the guru and devotees are connected in the heart, enabling all things. Disciples act in harmony with the guru's will. "Gurujī said, 'Don't worry, let them eat.'" "He said, 'Okay, you can give it to me outside. I don't go inside, yeah.'" Develop your wisdom, do not steal
3:20 - 4:08 (48 min)
Recorded on
In the Kali Yuga, imitation is a form of theft. People steal through counterfeiting currency, pirating software, and plagiarizing books and spiritual works. Copyright systems are commercial and temporary. However, the eternal scriptures cannot be sold or truly altered. Spiritual wisdom is like milk from a cow. Many feel all the butter of knowledge has already been taken by past saints. Yet, the cow itself—your own intellect—remains. Feed it with devotion and milk it with love; you will produce the butter of discrimination. Do not merely collect quotes like a bookworm. Consume true knowledge so it becomes your own wisdom through the union of knowledge and devotion. Many neglect scriptures, leaving wisdom in the dust. Do not become a self-made master of ego. Stay in the shelter of the true teaching and good company. Lost in bad society, one loses meditation, devotion, and patience, chasing desires instead. Helping hands are greater than folded hands. "The butter has been eaten already. Only the buttermilk remains." "They ate only the butter; they did not eat the cow. So, milk the cow." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The Awakening of Consciousness: Kuṇḍalinī and Cakras
4:15 - 6:09 (114 min)
Recorded on
The science of yoga is the science of body, mind, and consciousness. Yoga is the eternal balancing principle in the universe, not a religion or dogma. The cosmic vibration, declared as OM, exists within and outside us. Human life is a precious chance within the cycle of rebirth. The human intellect can be trained endlessly, and dormant abilities within are connected to the cakras, or energy centers. The subtle body has 72,000 nāḍīs, or channels, for transmitting consciousness and energy. The mind functions between the subconscious and conscious, taking in impressions that become desires. The intellect's duty is to give judgment. We normally experience three levels of consciousness: waking, dream, and deep sleep. Past deeds create our destiny, or prārabdha karma. The Kuṇḍalinī energy and the cakra system are responsible for developing consciousness and freeing it from subconscious fears. The major nāḍīs are Iḍā, Piṅgalā, and Suṣumṇā, balancing emotion and intellect. Haṭha Yoga unites these sympathetic and parasympathetic principles. The awakening of Kuṇḍalinī is a divine process of becoming wise and calm, not a physical sensation. The cakras are located along the spinal column and are psychic energy centers. They are connected to the five elements and influence the body. Mastery leads towards liberation, the union of individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness. This requires lifelong practice and guidance. "Yoga is not a religion, it is not a philosophy, it is not a dogma, but it is the eternal principle in this universe." "The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī is a divine process; you don't feel it as a physical sensation. You feel happy, as if in the lap of the mother." Filming location: Zagreb, Croatia DVD 188
Purity in daily life
6:10 - 6:27 (17 min)
Recorded on
The soil of this land is sacred, and every child is divine. This body is a temple, and every person is a helper. Each child is an idol, a manifestation of the divine. All beings seek happiness; this universal principle is your true reality. Spirituality leads there through mantra, meditation, prayer, and satsaṅg. Without satsaṅg, happiness and spiritual development are impossible. Impulses to avoid satsaṅg arise from past karmas awakening. Spirituality means purity, happiness, forgiveness, clarity, and fearless action. Do not fear death. Human life is unique among 8.4 million life forms; humans are spiritual protectors. Do not declare yourself unhappy or unloved. Purify yourself through action, nourishment, good company, reading, meditation, mantra, prayer, and song. A spiritual family is built on harmony, not conflict; parents must love each other and raise children with great love. Spirituality resides at home in a tolerant, respectful family, not only in temples. Lead a life with pure thoughts and sattvic nourishment. "Every creature wishes to attain happiness and to overcome unhappiness." "Spirituality means pure thinking, pure thoughts, pure nourishment." Filming location: Perth, Australia

The sole longing is for the dust of the holy feet, surpassing all worldly and heavenly desires, even liberation itself. Meeting the true Guru dispels all mental confusion and wrong knowledge, revealing the inner truth. The individual flame unites with the cosmic flame when all doubt is gone. External forms veil the one eternal truth within. Many speak only few words, but the Guru's word is profound. The devotee seeks to be accepted at those lotus feet. A true yogi, drunk on the divine name, is imperturbable, seeing no distinction between diamond and stone, free from all desire and fear. "Please give me the dust of your holy lotus feet. This is the only thing I am searching for and longing for." "He’s unmovable, and he’s strong or firm as a mountain, he’s the same in life and he’s the same in death." Filming location: Netherlands

The purpose is to invoke divine presence and blessings through sound. The text concludes with a focus on ultimate truth. The recitation is an act of worship and remembrance. The Imperative of Daily Practice
10:55 - 11:34 (39 min)
Recorded on
A call to serious, daily yoga practice is essential for health and purification. Many appear as practitioners but do not practice consistently at home, leading to physical problems. The body naturally produces vikāras (illnesses) and is dominated by the tamas and rajas guṇas. A sāttvic body, free from vikāra, must be cultivated through disciplined effort. When the body is impure, the mind and intellect become clouded with negative thoughts and dullness. This obscures one's reality. Therefore, consistent practice of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and cleansing techniques is the only means of thorough purification. Daily discipline, along with seasonal Śaṅkha Prakṣālana and weekly Kuñjalakriyā, prevents health issues. Diet must also become sāttvic, avoiding meat and eggs, while learning how and when to eat properly. The foundation is purifying āhāra (diet), vihāra (recreation), ācāra (behavior), and vicāra (thought). "Practicing means at home, not just here. Here, you are only learning." "When the body is not healthy, when it is full of vikāras, then the thoughts are also full of vikāras." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
If you don’t accept, you will lose the chance
11:40 - 12:18 (38 min)
Recorded on
The disciple's inner purity determines their capacity to understand the Guru's message. This message is a true instruction for spiritual progress. The Guru's guidance, though sometimes difficult, is medicinal and tailored to the disciple's specific qualities. Impurities arise from a lack of social education and from absorbing negative energies through bad company, which acts as a spiritual disease. The intellect's power of discrimination must be used to follow divine indications from nature and scripture, just as one would follow a parent's warning. Liberation comes from constant awareness of past actions and realizing one's true nature as the soul, beyond birth and death. "Even if we give milk to a cobra, the cobra will produce poison." "Human life is great, but at the same time, very poor because we have too many temptations." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The essence is always the same
12:25 - 13:03 (38 min)
Recorded on
The essence of satsaṅg is transformation through timeless presence. Stories from the past contain profound teachings to be digested. Time and place dictate appropriate behavior, yet the essence of pure yoga remains constant, adapting through different eras. The teacher is always in accordance with time, yet also ahead of it. This foresight is demonstrated through precise predictions that later manifest. The required flexibility is not merely physical but of the heart and mind. Constant change transforms the disciple, akin to a worm becoming a bee, which is a necessary but difficult process. Being present in the satsaṅg's energy is a blessing, requiring no other duties. One must decide to absorb this transformative energy fully, like a wooden spoon retains honey. This energy changes individuals, society, and the environment. Physical presence is paramount; watching remotely is an incomplete experience. The teacher provides the essential current, like electricity to lighthouses or the thread in a mālā. Each disciple is given precisely what is needed to grow, whether in good soil or on stone. "Your money will be better than a shilling. Two shillings will be one kuna." "If you have a beautiful picture of a rose, it has no fragrance." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The Forms of the Divine
13:10 - 13:42 (32 min)
Recorded on
Divine reality manifests in formless and formed aspects. The formless, Nirākāra, is the unseen absolute. The formed, Sākāra, is God appearing in a tangible shape, like a statue or a human body, to be worshipped. All such divine incarnations endure suffering. Humans constitute a third aspect, capable of spiritual evolution. Through disciplined practice and ethical living—peace, non-violence, and harmony—one progresses. In the current age, one must be vigilant, abstain from harmful actions, and turn inward. When the mind sincerely pleads for grace, liberation is granted. "That God will never say that I am God. And when you think that I will be God, then you are not God." "Do not run behind gold, but behind God." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The One in All and All in One
14:25 - 14:53 (28 min)
Recorded on
The oneness of consciousness is the foundation of yoga and existence. The endless universe, Ananta Brahmāṇḍa, emerged from Śūnyākāśa, a dark blue space containing cosmic consciousness. This consciousness resides within the universe as a child in the mother's womb, Hiraṇya Garbha. Yoga is the balancing principle creating harmony between space, consciousness, and power. It is not merely postures but the reunion of individual consciousness with the cosmic. From divine will arose the sound Aum, the form of the supreme. This resonance created the elements: fire, air, water, and earth. The one cosmic consciousness manifests in all 8.4 million creatures. Human intellect is a powerful tool that requires education in tolerance, respect, and understanding to realize human qualities and rights. Life is a cycle, a recycling or reincarnation of consciousness on the waves of time, where destiny is shaped by the self. "One in all and all in one." "Yoga is the balancing principle between space and consciousness." Filming location: Brisbane, Australia

Mind and chakras
15:50 - 16:15 (25 min)
Recorded on
The mind functions between the conscious and subconscious levels. The conscious state receives information through the five senses while awake. These impressions are immediately transferred to the subconscious, a storeroom of all past experiences from this life. These stored impressions generate desires, or vāsanā. Strong desires rise from the subconscious into the conscious mind. The intellect judges and defines these desires. Unfulfilled desires return to the subconscious, becoming formless and creating psychic problems. Blocking these desires is like damming a river, leading to overflow and distress. The mind must be directed, not stopped. Control the senses and limit desires to achieve peace. Balance between emotion, intellect, and consciousness is essential for a harmonious life. "Impressions and desires are like a river flowing constantly. You should not block the river." "Self-discipline means to direct your mind, your desires, your ambition... in that particular direction." Filming location: Brisbane, Australia

Swamiji introduces MM Swami Jasraj Puri and explaines in great detail what means Mahamandaleshwar and Akkhara. Ashram: A means welcome, Shram means work. Ashram means: Come to work here on your body, mind, consciousness and realisation. Space is the endless glory of God. We don't know where is the beginning or the end. We are limited. The endless space is like a mother, the cosmic consciousness. Between space and consciousness is Yoga shakti. Yoga is balancing, harmonising and uniting. God is manifested in the form of vibration, sound, resonance - OM - Everything comes from that and merges in that. Yogis are meditating on that. The aim of human life is to help, to serve, to support others and selfrealisation. The human life is a precious diamant but we will not get it again and again. Translation of the bhajan: Sadho bhai ab kyu karo the moro. Recorded in Melbourne, Australia.

Do you know if you stay sanyas?
19:40 - 19:56 (16 min)
Recorded on
The essence of spiritual teaching is found in direct experience and presence, not in elaborate speech or rigid protocol. A revered teacher once communicated the entirety of wisdom by simply chanting the mantra of completeness. Initial encounters with a guru are often marked by personal anxiety and a fear of transgressing unknown rules. True connection begins with simple service and sitting in silent presence, which reveals a profound inner light. A teacher's challenging words are not a threat but an invitation to internal fortitude and self-clarification. The disciple's task is to hold onto genuine inner happiness amidst external doubt. Spiritual understanding is ultimately confirmed within one's own heart. "This is the essence. What more do you want?" "You are so happy now, but you don't even know if you will remain a sannyāsī." Gurudev sees our past and future
20:15 - 21:31 (76 min)

The guru's grace can alter destiny and guide one beyond astrological predictions. Jyotishvidya provides a map of karmic tendencies, yet the guru's law is supreme. A story illustrates this: a seer wrote a miserable destiny for two princes. Their guru later instructed them to act against that written fate, demanding a golden deer and selling horses daily. By refusing ordinary outcomes, they compelled destiny to yield prosperity, eventually restoring their royal status. This demonstrates that the guru's instruction can rewrite life's script. Personal experience confirms that insisting against the guru's protective advice leads one into preordained suffering, while surrender brings peace. Relinquishing personal will allows the guru to orchestrate life, reducing karmic burdens. Complete surrender is true renunciation, not a loss but a natural turning toward divine joy, leaving suffering behind. The highest, permanent Ananda is found not in worldly or communal pleasure, but in this self-surrender. "Honī koṭā sakyevo guru"—what is supposed to happen, the guru can make it go away. "With Gurudev’s blessings, with Gurudev’s kṛpā, it doesn’t matter what you have in your destiny." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

A peaceful night and the daily routine are opportunities for spiritual awareness and unity with the divine. Deep sleep is a state of unity beyond all worldly identities. Before sleep, offer the day's actions to God, seeking forgiveness and protection. Upon awakening, express gratitude for this protection during the state of ignorance. Greet the earth with awareness of its burden. Recognize water as the sacred element of life. The daily shower is an imitation of the sacred ablution, connecting us to nature. All elements are manifestations of the divine through which God works. Nourishment is a gift from the divine Mother. One should offer food to God before eating, transforming it into sacred sustenance. The kitchen is your pharmacy; true health comes from fresh, whole foods prepared with love and discipline. Grind spices freshly to preserve their life force and aroma. This practice supports physical health and emotional calm. Conduct, contemplation, and positive thinking are essential. Humbleness and focusing on the essential lead to realization. How one speaks and behaves towards others is fundamental; politeness opens hearts. Live simply and be content. "In deep sleep, you know nothing of being a millionaire or a beggar. In deep sleep, you know nothing of whether you are sick or healthy." "Your kitchen is your pharmacy. Ayurveda is in your hand. What you buy and how you cook, with love and organic whole foods and herbs, all fresh—that is Ayurveda." Filming location: Austria
