How to practice The System Yoga in Daily Life
0:45 - 1:54 (69 min)
Systematic practice is essential, not random exercise. Follow the book's clear structure for posture, breath, and duration. Human life involves many duties, unlike animals, but balance is key. We gather to learn, not merely to enjoy temporary comfort. Early yoga classes lacked system, causing confusion for new and advanced students alike. Therefore, a structured system from primary to university level was created. The practice is named to signify its daily application, not to claim exclusivity. The same postures exist everywhere, but the approach here is methodical and non-commercial, focused on health and universal fellowship. Practitioners worldwide connect through this shared path. Core knowledge comes from three essential books: the holy scripture, the yoga manual, and the text on hidden powers. Daily reading is vital. Practice must be consistent; avoid excuses. Even a short daily routine is crucial. The community is built on helping one another and progressing together.
"Follow our yoga book. It contains many postures, and while we may incorporate different ones in between, our practice should stay on that path."
"Practice, practice, practice as you can, but avoid laziness."

Merging into light
2:45 - 3:35 (50 min)
Every day is a new birth, a glorious occasion for devotion. We mark an anniversary of a great saint's Mahāsamādhi. Sadness arises from attachment to form, not from the immortal Ātmā. All creation reveals divine beauty; negativity originates within our own judgment. Objects touched by a holy personality hold value through that connection, not through material worth. Rituals aligned with natural cycles, like moon phases, support spiritual and physical well-being. Modern life often forgets this harmony. Great saints are immortal; their presence remains accessible through pure love and remembrance. The physical heart may feel longing, yet wisdom understands their eternal nearness.
"Anything that is your Gurudeva’s, keep it. Because one day will come when he or she is not here."
"O God Beautiful... In the forest, in the mountains, in the meadows and the deserts... everything is beautiful."

The power of Gurudev's blessing
3:40 - 4:10 (30 min)
The great fortune is to be in satsaṅg, not entangled in the distractions of the age. This gathering provides rich spiritual food, not the mental fast food many consume. To digest this requires strong inner fire and practice. Simply being in this atmosphere purifies energy and grants strength. The most vital part is the personal connection—greeting the teacher and receiving prasāda. This act releases karma and provides sustenance felt long after. Prasāda is the holy essence capable of transforming a life, as is true darśana.
"Prasāda is the essence."
"That Prasāda is completely able to change our life if we know what Prasāda is."

We are in a lineage of great saints from the Satya Yuga
5:00 - 5:34 (34 min)
A divine lineage transmits eternal truth across ages. Many cultures possess unique spiritual expressions, yet one perennial wisdom flows through specific channels. Our lineage originates with Śrī Alakpurījī from the Satyuga. He nurtured countless yogīs and saints. Bhagavān Śrī Devapurījī performed sādhanā in Alakpurījī's Himalayan cave, attaining great siddhis. From him came Bhagavān Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī, a source of profound knowledge. Our Sadguru Swami Mādhavānandajī received blessings from Mahāprabhujī from childhood. Preceding generations included great beings, like one who manifested a full moon on a dark night. This continuous lineage connects to the present. Great saints often remain unseen, guiding all creatures. When one finds this path, an inner light of peace awakens automatically. The restless mind must be controlled to realize this.
"Wealth, prosperity, money, properties... all will remain here on the earth."
"When the prāṇa goes out of the body... that jīva will go alone."

The essence is the unstruck sound, the Anāhada, realized through devotion beyond form and thought. This is not an experience of the body or mind. It is beyond all attributes, beyond the forms of Rama or any shadow. It is the formless void that holds the supreme form. Neither meditation nor chanting can reach it. It is understood only through the grace of the true Guru. One must surrender at the divine feet, seeking mercy and blessings for liberation. The devotional offering is the path.
"Neither meditation nor chanting can reach it."

A Prayer for the Immortal Soul
12:50 - 13:32 (42 min)
Destiny is a mysterious and inescapable force. Humans cannot know the past or future, for such knowledge would bring unbearable tension. What unfolds is a play of fate, created individually yet often unavoidable. The story of Oedipus illustrates how one may try to flee destiny only to fulfill it. All must face the end of the body; death is inevitable. Yet through spiritual practice, one can transcend fear and attachment. When consciousness widens, past and future become clear, and one may realize the supreme Self beyond all suffering. Even the enlightened must relinquish the body, but a self-realized being digests time itself. We pray for the departed soul to dissolve into the cosmic light.
"Humans are very intelligent and intellectual beings, but God has not given them this one ability: to know the past and to know the future."
"Finally, the car will be the winner. It means death."

What are we thinking about our being?
13:40 - 14:56 (76 min)
The soul is the sovereign ruler of the inner kingdom, the body.
We are sinking in thoughts born from desire. Life grows shorter while we focus on the body. The soul ascends and descends, drawn to experience the world. In the womb, the soul is imprisoned, destined to become an individual. Upon birth, we are a separate Self. We possess the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, and space. Within them resides the soul. You are not alone; you contain a whole universe. The soul is the president, the highest authority. The senses and organs of action are the prime minister and the public, the ten powers that govern the kingdom. Do not become their slave; let them work. You are the king of your body. Your soul is your Guru, the highest Self. All humans possess the same soul, yet we create dualities and suffer. This body is a great instrument. Practice yoga—physical exercises, breath, concentration—to care for it and achieve oneness. Be humble, kind, and helpful. Never think you are unhappy, lost, or have nothing. You are the light of God.
"Your soul is your Guru. Yes. You all will become Gurus when you achieve what I am telling."
"You are the king of your body. And indriyas are your people. Do not become the slave of them. But let them work."

Maintain awareness of specific body parts, such as the ankles during leg circles or the shoulder blades during twists. The practice includes variations of poses like spinal twists, leg raises, and forward bends. Breath observation is central; feel the inhalation moving from stomach to throat and the exhalation reversing this path. Conclude with prāṇāyāma and mantra repetition, emphasizing presence and the relaxation of the body and mind.
"Try to feel your inhalation moving from your stomach to your throat, and your exhalation moving from your throat to your stomach."

New Moon Ceremonies
17:40 - 18:30 (50 min)
The new moon day carries great blessings and is a symbol of Śiva's darśana. Observing the twelve crescent moons grants a siddhi. Śiva, the creator of yoga, manifests in all elements. Greet Śiva upon waking to clear daily obstacles. The five elements are vital, with the sun and moon represented within as Iḍā and Piṅgalā in Svara Yoga. This science of breath instructs one's actions. Yoga is a complete science of body, mind, and soul. Eating is a sacred ceremony, a sādhanā where food is offered to Brahman. Maintain silence while eating. To fulfill wishes, one must offer something in return; nothing is free. Respect food by praying and offering a portion first. Perform daily sādhanā with discipline, such as offering water to a plant at sunrise. Making a vow, like abstaining from a fruit, tests willpower. Inner beauty of heart and behavior is true beauty.
"To see the new moon carries a great blessing. If one can see the twelve crescent moons, one will attain a siddhi."
"Yoga is a science of body, mind, soul, and our ātmā. It must not be that you do only physical yoga exercises; there are many, many other techniques."

Dreams are your reality
18:35 - 19:10 (35 min)
Dreams reveal your inner reality. The Supreme, though unseen, dwells within your heart as a spark of light. Realizing this requires cultivating spiritual qualities like truth and humility while denying negativity. Your present thoughts are seeds determining future experiences across lives. What you call reality is as fleeting as a dream, a play of consciousness. Relationships shape your inner peace; hidden emotional blockages possess immense power. A harmonious partnership is a merging of souls for life's journey. Waking life and dream experiences are both layers of your conscious reality.
"Your hidden power has immense energy, and that can move everything."
"Therefore, on this planet, there is no reality. We will come and we will go, and we will experience our own reality. And that’s called a dream."

Many people practise Yoga in Daily Life in Croatia. You and I are one in my heart.
We are never old for yoga
21:15 - 21:28 (13 min)
This weekend provided a spiritual vaccination against the subtle influences of Kali Yuga. The age's decay enters through small compromises, like a mouse, creating spiritual inflation. We must learn to firmly say no to ourselves, for the gentle approach of this era ends with us caught unaware. A yogi, like aged ghee, improves with time; one is never too old for sādhana. This injection strengthens our immunity, but ongoing practice is essential. We must carry this light home and arrive at the coming opening in a state of spiritual readiness, not merely physical. Our perspective on food, practice, and community must grasp the deeper principle of non-harm.
"To know how to say 'No' to ourselves."
"We are never too old for our sādhana."

Satsang Is Divine
21:35 - 22:14 (39 min)
The supreme door is entered through satsaṅg, the highest and easiest spiritual path. Real renunciation is of desires, not material things. Satsaṅg with pure feeling destroys countless sins. The mind creates delusion and fear about this path. One example is a cave where a voice warns not to take anything, yet both taking and not taking lead to regret. A student who takes soil finds diamonds, representing the unexpected gain from connection. Another example is of thieves whose father warns them to avoid satsaṅg. One thief hears a single phrase during satsaṅg: "Devotees are not the shadow of the deities." This word later allows him to see through a false goddess and save his life. From one word of truth, salvation is possible. Satsaṅg is a divine blessing.
"To reach the court of that God, there is only one way: the way of renunciation."
"Devotees are not the shadow of the deities."

Be positive
22:20 - 23:30 (70 min)
The choice between positivity and negativity is a fundamental spiritual decision. One must not judge others without knowing the full story, as appearances are deceptive. The people and atmosphere one chooses directly shape the mind's development. Ultimately, the path is a personal choice. There are four types of grace: divine grace, the grace of parents and teachers, the supreme grace of the Guru, and one's own grace. The Guru shows the path but does not force the disciple; one's own effort is crucial. Cultivate gratitude for what you have, as craving more leads to misery, exemplified by the farmer who became unhappy after finding 99 coins. Do not seek faults in others, for that draws their negativity onto oneself. Negativity is often more alluring, but positive association is essential for growth. Even animals sense intention, as when a saint's negative thought drove swans away. Use discrimination to choose the positive path. Spiritual progress depends on personal choice, Guru's grace, and righteous living.

Gurudeva hi Kevalam
23:35 - 0:30 (55 min)
The mind creates complex knots that only the Guru's grace can easily untie.
Human nature is drawn to negativity and overthinking, which tightens our mental knots of sadness and confusion. These difficulties come and go. We often remember the Guru only when troubled, yet constant remembrance is needed. The Guru assigns karma yoga to quiet the restless mind and remove inner obstacles. Attempting to solve our own problems often worsens them. True solution comes from surrendering the knot to the Guru, who finds the simple loop to release it. Faith in the Guru's guidance transforms seemingly complicated situations.
"A coin has two sides. We might see one side and not see the other side."
"In the same way, our sadness or the thoughts, the negative thoughts in our mind, are a simple knot. But our mind tries to untangle it, to overthink it, and just makes the situation even worse."
