Everything is created by sound
0:05 - 1:07 (62 min)
Yoga is the union and harmonization of body, mind, and spirit. The ancient wisdom of the Vedas reveals that creation emerged from divine sound, the primal resonance of Aum. This sound manifests as light and then as the entire cosmos, including the human form. The body is a perfect creation, engineered with intricate systems and controlled through energy centers known as chakras. Each chakra, symbolized as a lotus, contains specific resonances and seed mantras that govern its function. The ultimate reality is the formless, eternal Brahman, which resides within all beings. Self-realization is the process of understanding one's own body, mind, and emotions, leading to the awareness of this inner divinity. True yoga practice cultivates non-violence, peace, and health in daily life, balancing one's being and actions to avoid causing harm, as every action returns like a boomerang.
"The Sanskrit alphabet is called Devanāgarī. Deva is God, and Nagarī means a citizen—a citizen of the divine world."
"Yoga means uniting, balancing, and harmonizing body, mind, and intellect."

How to sing bhajans?
1:15 - 1:53 (38 min)
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from Jadan Ashram, Rajasthan, India. You all sing the bhajans very well but you should sing them a little bit like the Indians do. Singing the Yogi Jano Ki Yoga Nindra bhajan. Besides singing, it is also very good to know the meaning of the bhajan.
The Essence of Yoga in Daily Life
2:00 - 2:35 (35 min)
Yoga in daily life is the integration of spiritual discipline into every action. You must know your purpose. I taught yoga abroad and required a commitment to vegetarianism, refusing to teach those who ate meat. In India, some who never ate meat now do. Upon waking, affirm "I am a human being." Water is divine; a few drops remind you it is within all. Apply it like an injection to feel Jagadīś in your body. Do not let animals into sleeping rooms, though a cat or goat is good. Protect animals and India. Sanātana Dharma exists only in India. Many Indians abroad worship and have left meat. Practice yoga daily. Protect animals, protect India. Do not let animals into the house. The alternative to mobile confusion is to say Om when using the telephone.
"Water is Jagadīś. Jagadīś, Sarveś, Jagadīś, Bhagavān."
"The alternative is to say Oṃ. Say Om whenever you pick up the telephone."

Take the responsibility of your life
2:40 - 3:13 (33 min)
The path of yoga requires abandoning excuses to take full responsibility for one's life. People consistently lie to appear better, blaming trauma, astrology, or external conditions to avoid change. This excuses reveals weakness and a lack of self-control. A true yogī rises above all such circumstances, transforming even the worst conditions into the best. This demands present-moment awareness and becoming a detached observer. By observing internal signs before emotions fully manifest, one can choose a different response. Do not wait for a future moment to act or improve; utilize the present. Acting instinctively places one on an animal level; pausing to remember a higher principle activates human consciousness. Seeing the unconscious patterns within allows for their transformation, which is the essence of yoga.
"Everybody lies because we always want to be seen in a better light."
"Everything is predictable if we are observing and if we are aware."

Shiva Tattva
3:20 - 3:54 (34 min)
The endless cycle of creation and dissolution guides the soul toward Śiva. Creation, Sṛṣṭi, and dissolution, Vilaya, repeat across Yugas. God incarnates in each age through Yogamāyā. Viṣṇu appears with symbols of blessing and destruction. The cycle cleans the field of existence before Śiva, the Svayambhū, manifests again. Vast scriptural knowledge was largely destroyed, yet an ocean remains. Theoretical knowledge is limited; practice is essential. Countless Yugas have passed. The Jīvātmā, the individual soul present in all life, is Śiva-tattva. This essence multiplies endlessly. Gods perform their duties in a reciprocal play. Through disciplined Sādhanā, especially mantra in Kali Yuga, one can overcome suffering. Earthly life, from womb to old age, is marked by difficulty and attachment, a Tapasyā. The aim is for the individual drop of Jīva to merge with the ocean of Śiva. Sustain life with duty and love, but seek Self-realization. Hold to your path, reject doubt, and use your inner light. Guide future generations on this path to end the cycle of rebirth.
"Kali Yuga keval nām ādhāra, sumir sumir narhoi bhavapāra."
"So this drop is the Jīva, Śivatattva. And the ocean is Śiva. When this drop falls into the ocean again, the Jīva becomes Śiva."

Morning satsang from Summer Yoga Retreat in Strilky, Czech Republic. Bhajan singing.
Atma resides in all creatures
5:30 - 5:59 (29 min)
The soul's journey is from individuality to unity with the divine.
Our tradition sees all with love. Historical forces, from Muslim rulers to the British, have tested this unity, yet the essence remains. God is not present in only one place; God is omnipresent. The soul enters the human body after passing through many life forms. The human birth is a rare opportunity. The relationship between the individual soul and the supreme is like a drop and the ocean; they are ultimately the same substance. Upon death, the pure soul merges with the supreme consciousness, while others return to the cycle. Every helper in life, from a parent to a driving instructor, can be considered a guru guiding us. Our duty is to raise children in righteousness and to show compassion to all creatures, great and small.
"God is not there only once. God is not there only once."
"A drop of water and the whole ocean are the same inside."

The relation between mother and child
6:05 - 6:22 (17 min)
The heart's warmth is the divine love that animates all care and protection.
This inner blessing is like a mother's voice speaking within a child. All creatures, from cows to birds, instinctively protect and warm their young. This nurturing impulse points to a deeper, spiritual heart within humans, called Kaljā. We must protect this inner heart and extend its care to all beings. Many people are hidden, eating meat without awareness, sometimes influenced by their parents. True spiritual practice requires this compassionate awareness. If we harm creatures, we create suffering and distance from the divine. Yoga is not just practice; it is this heart and the hymn within it. To be a yogi is to live this unity daily, which includes not consuming meat or alcohol. Our love should extend beyond our own pets to all life. We must seek forgiveness for any harm and move toward cosmic unity.
"All creatures know, and they want to live, and the mother is always, always taking care."
"Yoga is our heart. And in our heart is the, how to call it, the hymn."

Bhajan singing on the Satsang
6:30 - 6:57 (27 min)
The human opportunity is singular; the mind must repeat the divine name. Surrender to the true Guru at whose feet all pilgrimages reside; he destroys doubts and bad qualities and grants liberation from worldly existence. Through his grace, one receives his vision and realizes the true Self. The Guru, established in the absolute, is the universe's protector and his glory is beyond description.
"Give your body and mind to Sāddhā Gurudeva, and he will destroy all your doubts and all your bad qualities."
"Through Guru Kṛpā, through the mercy of Gurū Deva, we receive his darśan. And at his holy lotus feet, we recognize the Ātmā."

Bhajans evening from the Strilky Ashram
7:05 - 8:08 (63 min)
The human body is a sacred shawl and a divine coach, given for a short time. The shawl is woven from the five elements on the wheel of the eight chakras, colored by the name of God. Fools soil it quickly, but saints keep it pure. The body is a coach pulled by ten powers, guided by the mind, with the soul as the king inside. Five thieves—desire, anger, pride, greed, and ego—steal this coach until the guru's word drives them away. This world is a two-day meeting; we arrive and depart alone, accompanied only by our deeds. The goal of life is nothing less than God-realization.
"This shawl is colored with the color of the name of God."
"In this coach, the king, the ātmā, is sitting."

Blessing for Martin
9:30 - 9:57 (27 min)
This gathering celebrates the opening of a divine āśram and the shared work of the past year. A story is told of a miraculous cave where a voice warns that taking something leads to regret, yet taking nothing leads to greater regret. This mirrors the opportunity within a project; some participate more, some less, but all contribution is appreciated. The work has created a center of spiritual light where visitors may find peace and understanding. Yoga is a science for healthy, happy, spiritual living, leading toward self-realization through lifelong willpower. It is embraced globally for physical, mental, and social health, serving as a path to the Supreme. All religious paths ultimately converge at one gate. The practice is essential, for everything is nothing without health. The roots of this teaching are ancient and must be preserved, just as a tree dies if its roots are cut. Teach with compassion, never forcing postures, but understanding each person's condition. Share the wisdom gained, just as a cherry tree returns a thrown stone with fruit.
"Yoga is a science of the human being. Yoga is very ancient, and it is given to humans to lead a healthy, happy, spiritual life."
"Health is not everything, but everything is nothing without health."

Be joyful
10:05 - 10:32 (27 min)
The Guru's light manifests on earth as pure knowledge, requiring a living guide for correct spiritual practice. This divine principle, the Guru Tattva, is the same in all true teachers, yet disciples share an intimate, familial connection with their own. The guru's physical form is a vessel for this light; entering its radiant aura transforms one's energy. Even in the guru's physical absence, gathering with devotion in satsaṅg magnetically draws that divine presence. The quality of satsaṅg depends on the participants' internal energy. Approach it not as obligation but with joy, for your own energy determines the atmosphere. To elevate personal energy, engage in singing bhajans. Consciously replace negative thoughts with positive ones to rewire the mind toward happiness. A spiritual life must be a life of joy and inspiration, rooted in the constant feeling of connection to the divine.
"When bhaktas are together and singing my name, thinking on me, the Hari, the God, that divine energy comes to that place."
"Satsaṅg is not an obligation, but satsaṅg is a joy."

Pranayama and flute music
10:40 - 11:49 (69 min)
Prāṇāyāma requires consistent, disciplined practice, not a single intense session. Beginners often complete rounds quickly, but with relaxation, the breath naturally slows, extending the practice time. Use a timer, not a fixed round count, and observe your own rhythm. Never force the breath, as forcing yields no benefit, only resistance. Yet, discipline is required to overcome laziness; apply common sense to avoid both fanaticism and inertia. Practice one type of prāṇāyāma consistently for months to master it. The effects become clear with sustained, longer practice. Sound vibration, like chanting Oṃ, has proven physiological benefits, such as stimulating nitric oxide production, which masters understood before modern science. The process of spiritual refinement, like crafting a flute, involves patiently removing inner obstructions to reveal one's true nature.
"Never force prāṇāyāma. You know, from the Guru Gītā, if you force the prāṇāyāma, you will not gain anything, only contra."
"If you want to manage everything, you will lose everything. But if you keep one thing, you will master this."

Specific practices like Brahmārī Prāṇāyāma generate beneficial vibrations and concentration. Natural remedies and Ayurvedic treatments are also valued. Consistent personal practice and prayer are foundational, with prayer being the most important element for a correct and good life.

The form of God is the vibration
12:35 - 13:35 (60 min)
Oṃ is the divine sound, the origin and essence of all creation.
Oṃ is the primordial vibration, the sound-form of the absolute. Its written symbol contains a Bindu, representing both the point from which the universe emerged and the drop of immortal nectar. Yogis meditate upon it eternally. It grants desires and liberation. This is not a sound we create but an existing reality we resonate with through chanting. The practice of Nāda Yoga uses outer sound to journey toward the inner experience of Oṃ. At the highest stage, this sound is perceived directly, transforming into light and expanding consciousness. All true mantras contain Oṃ. It is described as the Word present at creation, the formless source that manifests as the three qualities composing the world. Spiritual practice without connection to Oṃ is considered fruitless. Chanting purifies, illuminates, and awakens divine bliss.
"Oṃ is the divine name. Oṃ is God."
"Oṃkār bina, sādhanā sapahote bikārī re."

Identification with the name
13:40 - 14:48 (68 min)
The autobiography of Viśva Gurujī has arrived. This book is a living blessing, containing his life in his own simple words. It is a tool for learning and a source of divine influence. The evening program will provide a full introduction. For now, consider this book a profound gift to be received and experienced.
Your yoga name is your second mantra, a divine replacement for your worldly name. A birth name ties you to the body and its karma, fostering ignorance. The master gives a name of God or divine qualities to shift this identification. To receive its power, you must use it and identify with it fully. A mantra or name unused is like a seed locked away, not planted. The name of God holds immense power, capable of transforming consciousness. Embrace this name as your true identification.
"In the dream, Mahāprabhujī told me, 'Don’t be greedy, Mahesh. Whatever I gave you, you must pass on. You are here to give, not to take.'"

15:00 - 16:03 (63 min)
A gentle yoga practice integrates postures, breath, and focused awareness to calm the mind and strengthen the body. Begin by relaxing in a comfortable position, observing the natural breath. Practice postures like Pavanamuktāsana and Vyāghrāsana with smooth, controlled movements and coordinated breathing. Maintain awareness of alignment, such as keeping the pelvis level. Vīrāsana is highlighted for its benefits to the feet and mental state, despite potential discomfort from inflexibility. Always breathe consciously and maintain control, concluding with relaxation and observation of the body and mind.

Explanation of Shank Prakshalan kriya
16:10 - 16:47 (37 min)
Haṭha Yoga practices purify the body and awaken energy to support all spiritual paths. Aspirants seek happiness and health, finding a primary yoga path according to their nature—Karma, Bhakti, Rāja, or Jñāna—yet all paths are interconnected. A strong, healthy body is essential, cultivated through Haṭha Yoga's cleansing techniques. These include Neti for the head, Nauli and Agnisāra Kriyā for digestive fire, and Kapālabhāti to awaken the brain. Śaṅkha Prakṣālana is a profound intestinal cleanse using warm salt water and specific movements, requiring proper guidance. It purifies the entire system, leading to lightness and improved digestion. Following the cleanse, one eats simple, sāttvic food like kicharī to restore the body. This practical work on health supports a life of service and spiritual practice.
"Without Bhakti, we cannot do Karma Yoga. Without Jñāna Yoga, you can’t do Bhakti Yoga."
"Śaṅkha Prakṣālana is not only the emptying of the whole intestine; it is a purifying, a washing only with that which we have from nature: water and sea salt and movement."

Don't sleep in a dream of ignorance
16:55 - 17:42 (47 min)
Awaken to life's true purpose before the train of time departs.
Life is given according to destiny and karma, not age. The moment of departure is unknown. One must become alert and conscious to board the train; it will not wait. All worldly attachments—family, possessions, country—are left behind. Nothing material accompanies you. The purpose is the awakening of consciousness into God-realization. Practice the techniques given by the wise; otherwise, this chance is lost. Attachment is a noose causing suffering and conflict. Detachment is not neglect but love without suffering, granting freedom. After death, you face the consequences of your karma in compartments of heaven or hell, falling into a directionless nothingness. Yet, human life is beautiful and meant to be enjoyed. You came alone and will depart alone. Achieve the liberation of self-realization through spiritual practice.

Hanuman Chalisa is for everyone
18:25 - 19:13 (48 min)
The Hanumān Chālīsā is a universal spiritual text. It consists of forty poems glorifying Hanuman, composed by the saint Tulsīdās from his realization. This chant is for everyone, transcending religion, as spiritual truth is one. Its power has been observed; playing it for cows brought relaxation and increased milk yield, demonstrating healing through sound resonance. The mantra's vibration can dispel illness, promoting peace and health. Hanuman remains on earth by Rāma's command to protect devotees. Animals possess great knowledge and loyalty, as seen in langurs that refuse to eat the Sītā Phal fruit out of respect. They are family members, and their destruction imbalances the world. Spiritual awareness, found in texts like the Chālīsā, uplifts and liberates consciousness, removing fear. The poem begins by adoring the guru's lotus feet, the source of prosperity and wisdom. True greatness, like Tulsīdās's, does not proclaim itself. Hanuman symbolizes pure, fearless strength and intellect, never used for negativity, and is invoked for removing troubles.
"It is not only for Hindus, but for anyone who wishes to receive its benefit."
"Every spiritual word, every spiritual sentence is uplifting, inspiring, liberating, and removes the fear."

We should believe in God
20:45 - 21:59 (74 min)
The human journey is a rare opportunity to realize oneness. Among countless life forms, the human birth is the most developed. This development offers the singular chance to merge with the supreme reality. Many habits, like excessive eating or using tobacco, create disease and suffering, obscuring this purpose. Health is foundational; without it, nothing is possible. Difficulties are not punishments but divine means to foster remembrance and surrender. Through trials, the soul is refined and drawn closer to liberation. All names and forms point to one essence, like different words for the same sweetness.
"When you are very happy... you forget God. When we have problems, then we remember."

Guru is more than paras, Guru can transform the disciple into Guru. If not, either Gurudev is not right, either there is a distance between the Master and disciple. Memories and experiences on the yoga path
23:25 - 0:13 (48 min)
A spiritual journey unfolds through grace, duty, and unwavering connection to the Master. Returning after twelve difficult years abroad brings profound gratitude. The path began with a mantra initiation decades ago. Guidance came to help establish an ashram, leading to the first yoga class in a home in 1999. Teaching has continued and grown since that time, offering something unique that students recognize as authentic. The Master embodies perfect completeness, and His divine aura provides unmatched wisdom. The path is safe; one must not stop walking it even through storms, standing firm like a deeply rooted tree. Life presents contrasting experiences—from a dharmic childhood to a materialistic society—all as lessons. The core instruction is to maintain dharma, to do the right thing in all circumstances, drawing strength from scripture even when facing loss. A profound devotion was realized in a moment of selfless offering to the Guru.
