The Nabhi
0:05 - 1:00 (55 min)
The many paths of yoga converge like rivers into one ocean. Respect all ways of practice. The science of yoga is vast, yet we must understand our own body. The navel, or Nābhi, is the root. A problem there affects the whole system. To progress, one must bring the body under control through proper diet and awareness. Overweight individuals should eat lightly, focusing on salads and seeds, to achieve balance over time. Practice feeling the movement and vibration at the navel. This awareness is the foundation for meditation and self-knowledge. True practice begins from this root, balancing the physical to access deeper states. The sound of OM originates from the navel, rising through the channels to the crown. Balance in the body leads to balance in consciousness.
"Yoga is yoga, but which kind of yoga? It is like this gathering: some have come from the East, some from the West, and all who have come via different paths have seen many different things."
"The navel is the root. Everything is there. When there is a problem with the navel, the whole body will die."

The ways of Purification
1:05 - 2:08 (63 min)
The mantra provides refuge and purification. Recite it mentally in daily life to invoke divine presence and protection. All five elements purify. Earth absorbs impurity, water blesses, air carries life, fire transforms, and space contains all. These elements cleanse body, mind, and atmosphere. Use pure food, breath, and thought for health. Sattvic diet and pranayama remove inner impurities. Joyful practices like song and dance also elevate the spirit. Purification through elements and discipline leads the soul upward.
"Oṁ Namaḥ Śrī Prabhu Dīpa Nārāyaṇam Haṃsabhādas Prabhu Sārṇaparāyaṇam."
"Where there is water, there is God. And where there is God, there is water."

Guru gives us the good path
2:15 - 2:53 (38 min)
The spiritual path requires following a true guide through the transitional age.
We are in Kali Yuga, a dark age nearing its end. Śiva balances all forces, working to harmonize and avert disaster, guiding beings toward a coming Satya Yuga of holiness. The true guru, like a mother, provides the correct path and blessings. You must follow that given path without distraction or switching guides. Many techniques exist, from physical science to spiritual discipleship. Karma yoga involves understanding all actions and life circumstances. Jyotiṣ, the science of astrology, is presented as a critical knowledge revealing the timing of all events, including one's death. The key is to go deeply, beyond mere physical practice, and stay on the assigned path toward oneness.
"Śiva is giving blessings and controlling everything for all: the ṛṣis, the yogīs, the spiritual ones, and also others."
"So without jyotiṣ, no one can go further."

Practising concentration on one point
3:00 - 3:56 (56 min)
The practice of one-pointed concentration is the foundation of spiritual discipline. Achieving inner silence, or mauna, is profoundly difficult, placing one on the cosmic road. Our senses, especially the chañcal or restless eyes, scatter our attention. Consider the archer Arjuna, who succeeded by focusing solely on the target despite distractions. We are chañcal in many ways—our thoughts, our bodies. To proceed, this restlessness must become peaceful. The key is sthirā: steadiness without movement. Simply closing the eyes often leads to sleep, a drowsy half-state. True concentration requires choosing a single point, like the navel, and holding the entire being there without wavering. Deep within, beneath the surface waves of thought, lies perfect stillness. Harmonize with all sounds, but do not concentrate on them. Gradually, one comes into oneself.
"Chañcal means always this and that, like this. Even water is flowing. So if one is chañcal, one cannot be perfect."
"The ocean is very big, with waves upon waves. But if you dive deep down, there is no movement there."

We are a part of God
5:05 - 6:15 (70 min)
Yoga is one unified path, though taught under many names. It extends far beyond physical postures to encompass the entire life force and consciousness. The practice integrates all aspects of nature, as seen in the 84 traditional āsanas inspired by animals and elements. This discipline is lifelong, like the breath itself, and aims to balance the body's five principles with nature. The ultimate goal is for the individual soul, or jīva, to realize its divine nature and ascend to the highest cosmic consciousness, ending the cycle of rebirth among the 8.4 million life forms. While worldly knowledge progresses outwardly, the yogi's path is an inward journey to the Self. All creatures possess the will to live, and humans must recognize the divine Ātmā within themselves and all beings, moving from identifying with the limited drop to merging with the boundless ocean.
"Yoga is not only physical, for the physical body, or just breath and concentration, etc. Yoga is very far-reaching."
"Your soul, your ātmā in you is your God."

Keep your inner temple clean
6:20 - 6:57 (37 min)
The human body is the temple of God. This temple must be kept clean, harmonious, and beautiful. We should offer salutation upon waking, giving thanks and receiving blessings. Our soul resides within this temple, so we must go within to find clarity, peace, and love. The divine is within you; do not seek it elsewhere. The individual self is like a single drop containing the whole ocean. Respect and care for your body, for if the inner temple is not clean and happy, one cannot find joy. Purify yourself upon waking and before sleep to awaken energy and release stress. Maintain purity by avoiding impure foods and substances. Simple practices, like applying a little oil, can bring health and calm.
"Therefore, we humans are the temple of God. We should keep that temple very clean and beautiful, shining."
"God said, 'I am in you.' Your Jīvātmā, that is my God."

Sleeping and Yoga Nidra
7:05 - 8:25 (80 min)
The teacher's duty is to remain alert and protect students, especially during practices like Yoga Nidrā. The heart is the constant engine of life, requiring maintenance through proper sleep and awareness. Sleep is a restorative process where the body and mind normalize. A teacher must never be inattentive; they must watch the environment and students vigilantly, never closing their own eyes carelessly. This alertness is akin to a driver checking all mirrors. Overconfidence in any practice, like swimming, can be fatal. Many teachers err by being lax or giving incorrect guidance, breaking the necessary rhythm and trust. True teaching requires controlling the inner principles and providing correct, confident instruction.
"Your teacher will say, 'Close the eyes.' Who are you to close my eyes?"
"The teacher should be alert. In the schools, at the university, in college, everywhere."

The beauty of yoga nidra
8:30 - 9:43 (73 min)
The first thought upon waking and the first step taken set the tone for the day. Upon waking, observe which nostril has dominant airflow. If the left nostril flows more, step out with the right foot. If the right flows more, step out with the left foot. If both are equal, stand with both feet. The initial conscious thought should be, "I am human," implying a duty to think rightly and avoid harming others. The body is a vehicle like a car or airplane, and the Self is the alert driver within it. One must become awakened and conscious in all actions. This practice integrates yoga into daily life, moving beyond mere physical postures.
"First, we should know when we wake up. Inhale, exhale from your nostrils. Where is more air coming?"
"When we open our eyes, we should think, 'I am human.'"

Do Good
8:30 - 9:19 (49 min)
A global crisis has forced introspection, revealing our fragility and the superficiality of modern pursuits. Many sought distraction, but in India, cultural broadcasts reawakened spiritual knowledge. This period serves as a divine lesson to slow down and seek inner truth. The current proliferation of hastily certified yoga teachers reflects a profound misunderstanding of the path. True discipleship requires decades of humility, not a certificate claiming mastery. Spiritual attainment is not a diploma received in life. Liberation is decided at the final moment, beyond simplistic judgments of good and bad karma. The ego that proclaims itself a guru is an imitation, like a trained monkey. The real Guru is the supreme reality itself. Seek that within.
"God said, 'Relax.'"

We need a Guru
9:20 - 10:04 (44 min)
Yoga requires a guru for true guidance, not mere physical practice. The Bhagavad Gītā states both the formless and manifest paths are equal, but for embodied beings, sādhanā is easier with a guru's clear instruction. Modern yoga often lacks this, focusing only on āsana and prāṇāyāma without ethical foundations or genuine knowledge. Many teach without having been properly taught themselves. The guru's grace is essential for perfection; techniques alone are insufficient. Avoid negativity and gossip. Strive to be a light. If you cannot do good, at least do no harm, and you will remain on the path. True yoga integrates prayer, ethical living, and the guru's guidance into daily life.
"Guru kṛpā hi kevalam—when the kṛpā of the Gurudeva, the blessings of the Gurudeva, that is the greatest."
"If you cannot do good, then at least don’t do bad. Then what will happen? We are standing on the path, neither going this way nor that, and then automatically it will go to the white path."

The Path of Sarvahita: Yoga, Health, and Resilience
10:05 - 10:55 (50 min)
The path of Sarvahita integrates yoga into daily life for holistic health and resilience. Illness can emerge from imbalances in nature and human consumption. Personal discipline through diet, fasting, and consistent yoga practice supports the body's recovery and strength. The nervous system is a vast network connecting every part of the body. Specific exercises and breathwork circulate energy and aid healing. This practice, Sarvahita Yoga, serves the entire body—muscles, nerves, and cells—promoting lasting vitality. It is not for a time but for life, sustaining one through challenges. True health unites body, mind, and inner energy.
"One can also practice some of the services, and slowly, slowly, he will come back healthy again."
"Sarvahita means for our health, our good—our good for everything, for our body, our mind, our concentration."

One day we will be together
11:00 - 11:44 (44 min)
All spiritual paths are one, despite different names and forms. This unity is seen in families where each member has a name, yet the family is one. Similarly, every yoga center and religion, though named differently, converges on the same truth. Just as children in a kindergarten are all beautiful, all spiritual endeavors are good. The human soul is one, despite variations in body or color. Life is like water: individual drops from clouds or rivers ultimately return to and merge with the ocean. Maintaining distinct traditions and knowing one's roots creates harmony, while excessive mixing without understanding leads to confusion. Respect all paths and see the single reality within all forms.
"Yoga is only one yoga; we simply have different names."
"Water is water. It may be in the clouds, in the ocean... but one fine drop comes together with others... and finally returns to the ocean."

God is within us
11:50 - 12:19 (29 min)
Morning satsang with Vishaguruji from Rijeka, Croatia. Karma yoga is the best yoga. How should we begin our day? Live happy healthy. Feel that I am a human so I don't harm any creatures. We search for God everywhere but we never look within ourselves. We should do our yoga practice regularly day by day. Vajra nadi is the base of our life. Practising bhramari pranayama.
Past is gone future is not here yet
12:25 - 13:09 (44 min)
The path is to be present, letting go of past and future.
You have practiced and received knowledge. Our way is to be relaxed and normal, not straining or focusing oddly. What we seek is to know the Self. We follow a given path but must understand it ourselves. We are human with knowledge, yet we do not know what comes after this life. Do not dwell on the past; it is gone like an exhale. We often live in memories or future thoughts, not in the present. Suffering in the present will not last. We must come into our heart and thoughts to be one. Forget the past; your future path will be good. What you have now is here; do not lose it by grasping for more.
"Do not meditate and concentrate on what is gone; learning is gone."
"The past is gone. The present is here. But you think, 'In the future, I will also get this.' But you will not get it."

Webcast from Vienna
13:15 - 13:57 (42 min)
Dharma is eternal righteous conduct for all beings, upholding universal benefit. We live in Kali Yuga, an age where adharma is strong. Śiva maintains cosmic balance, gradually transforming all beings toward Dharma. All life feels pain; lacking compassion halts progress and brings consequences. The principle of non-harm is significant, extending beyond pets to all creatures. Humans must practice restraint, not follow the example of animals in a free life. Tapasya, or austerity, is necessary; overconsumption and impurity from chemicals lead to sickness. True health requires pure elements, like clean water, and a prayer for a good life leading to liberation from cyclic existence. Meditation focuses on the subtle body. The Vajranāḍī is a central channel; knowing it brings health. Practices like Brahmrī, connected to the navel and Sahasrāra, align this energy. All paths and teachers should be respected, fostering unity rather than division.
"Dharma is Dharma. It is not a selective principle; it is for all lives, without exception."
"As long as we lack compassion in our hearts, we will not progress."

Shiva tried to give immortality to Parvati
14:05 - 14:51 (46 min)
The divine union of Śiva and Śakti is the fundamental cosmic principle. All beings originate from the Cosmic, with the soul or God within. The inner self, the Ātmā, is equal in all, male or female. Historically, women were denied spiritual respect, but now equality is recognized. The teaching "Mātṛ Devo Bhava" establishes the mother as the first object of reverence, followed by the father, teacher, and guru. Creation requires both masculine and feminine principles. Śiva, initially whole, contains Śakti within, manifesting as the androgynous Ardhanārīśvara. A story illustrates their inseparability: when the goddess Satī died, Śiva carried her body in grief. To restore cosmic balance, Viṣṇu used the Sudarśana Cakra to dismember the form, creating the sacred Śakti Pīṭhas. Later, Pārvatī sought immortality from Śiva through a night-long mantra, but she fell asleep, and a parrot overheard the secret. This unity exists within each person; husband and wife should be one as Śiva and Śakti are one. Practice purity and non-violence, recognizing the divine in all. Worship leads to the cosmic; otherwise, one remains unfulfilled.
"Shiva and Shakti are one in ourselves, in our body."
"Matri Devo Bhava, first God, is taken as the mother."

Around the world - Yoga for children CRO
15:00 - 15:08 (8 min)
Yoga practice is a circle from intention to breath. We begin with a saṅkalpa, a silent wish repeated three times. Daily life turns attention outward, but yoga asks us to observe inward: our body, position, and feelings. There is no competition; challenges are personal, and progress brings inner satisfaction. Children are engaged through stories and animal-mimicking āsanas, learning which body parts each posture affects. We prepare the body with exercises like the butterfly to loosen hips for prāṇāyāma. The correct posture for breathing is any comfortable, steady seat. The joy is witnessing progress, from restless movement to coordinated control, which refreshes both student and teacher.
"The most difficult for me is rolling, because it is fun and loosens the spine. The hardest part is grinding, because the muscles in the arms and head hurt."
"Often, when I come here after a whole day of work... completely refreshed, I leave after an hour of yoga."

Welcoming Address and Valedictory Session on Yoga for Wellness
15:15 - 16:23 (68 min)
Yoga for wellness is the subject, moving from practice to integration for national health.
Yoga has gained global acceptance, increasing India's responsibility. The conference aims to establish policy parameters. Yoga is about holistic wellness, not merely cure. Two key features emerged: the need for integration between traditional and modern medicine, and the need for scientific evidence on yoga's impact on specific diseases. Integration must move beyond co-location to active cross-referrals. The ultimate aim is to use yoga to reduce the number of patients. Generating robust scientific evidence is crucial for global acceptability. The presence of both traditional and modern practitioners signifies the desired integration.
"Yoga is not just about a cure. It is about health, overall well-being, and wellness." "We need to generate scientific evidence about the value of yoga if we want true acceptability."

Develop the quality
16:25 - 17:06 (41 min)
The five sheaths must be purified to attain pure prāṇa and higher consciousness. Pure quality is essential, not mere quantity. This purification is a gradual process of renunciation, requiring disciplined sādhanā. Few succeed because maintaining purity in body, thought, and action is difficult. Most are distracted by worldly desires and greed, which damage spiritual energy. The mind, intellect, and senses must be harmonized through discrimination. Impure energies create obstacles after death, while pure prāṇa leads to liberation. Renunciation of negative qualities is the gate to the divine.
"Enter the kingdom of God through the gate of sacrifice. Renounce, renounce,... renounce."
"Your yoga-sādhanā will be perfected through doing your sādhanā... the fire of yoga will burn all your karmas away."

The Awakening of Consciousness: Kuṇḍalinī and Cakras
17:10 - 19:04 (114 min)
The science of yoga is the science of body, mind, and consciousness. Yoga is the eternal balancing principle in the universe, not a religion or dogma. The cosmic vibration, declared as OM, exists within and outside us. Human life is a precious chance within the cycle of rebirth. The human intellect can be trained endlessly, and dormant abilities within are connected to the cakras, or energy centers. The subtle body has 72,000 nāḍīs, or channels, for transmitting consciousness and energy. The mind functions between the subconscious and conscious, taking in impressions that become desires. The intellect's duty is to give judgment. We normally experience three levels of consciousness: waking, dream, and deep sleep. Past deeds create our destiny, or prārabdha karma. The Kuṇḍalinī energy and the cakra system are responsible for developing consciousness and freeing it from subconscious fears. The major nāḍīs are Iḍā, Piṅgalā, and Suṣumṇā, balancing emotion and intellect. Haṭha Yoga unites these sympathetic and parasympathetic principles. The awakening of Kuṇḍalinī is a divine process of becoming wise and calm, not a physical sensation. The cakras are located along the spinal column and are psychic energy centers. They are connected to the five elements and influence the body. Mastery leads towards liberation, the union of individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness. This requires lifelong practice and guidance.
"Yoga is not a religion, it is not a philosophy, it is not a dogma, but it is the eternal principle in this universe."
"The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī is a divine process; you don't feel it as a physical sensation. You feel happy, as if in the lap of the mother."

Vegetarian food is good for prevention against covid
17:30 - 18:16 (46 min)
Good evening. We had a beautiful day of practice. Tomorrow, you will have a free half-day after breakfast to walk in the forest in groups. Otherwise, do your own exercises. Integrate the lectures and practices into your heart and mind. The trees here give great energy; breathe deeply. The food here contains prāṇa. We should eat food that makes the body healthy, happy, and pure. Our gathering is limited in size, but it allows a relaxed feeling without daily chores. A study was shared involving over 7,000 participants across six countries. It found those on plant-based diets at least one year prior had less severe COVID-19 outcomes. This shows vegetarianism is good for health, the environment, and humanity. True yoga practice includes a vegetarian diet, avoiding alcohol and meat, fostering peace and love for all creatures.

You are great but remain on the path
19:05 - 19:58 (53 min)
The living guru and true path are found within an authentic lineage, not through blind faith or exploitation. Modern science connects us physically, but only genuine spiritual transmission guides the soul beyond death. Many teachers and paths exist, each like a mother to her child, yet the root parampara is essential. Discernment is required, as some promise false powers or exploit faith with rituals. True practice involves a pure lifestyle and steady discipline, not mere claims. The breath's exhalation represents the enduring power; life continues beyond this body.

Atma is one and body is different
20:05 - 20:58 (53 min)
All spiritual paths and centers, rooted in Indian concepts like dharma, are valid worldwide. We must respect every school and not claim exclusivity. Just as many children in a village each have their own family and name, yet all are children, so do various yoga traditions have their own names and forms. They all share the same essence. The goal is oneness. A guru's value is not in the number of disciples but in their knowledge. We are like drops from one vast ocean; though separate, our essence is the same divine source. All humans and creatures contain that divine essence. We must look within to realize our true nature as the cosmic self. Do not compare or denigrate other paths. All lead to the same truth, just as all children return to their homes.

Wherever you are Gurudev is with you
22:05 - 22:59 (54 min)
The Guru is the supreme principle encompassing and transcending all. The Guru is Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva, yet exists above this trinity. This truth is chanted to affirm that the divine witness is always present. Meditation's root is the Guru's form, meaning one should concentrate on the divine essence within, not the physical body. Worship's root is the Guru's feet, representing reverence for the foundation from which all guidance arises. The mantra's root is the Guru's word, for speech holds immense power for liberation or bondage. Liberation's root is the Guru's grace alone. Therefore, see the Guru in all steps and in all forms, moving beyond attachment to the physical.

A Gathering of Hearts
23:05 - 0:30 (85 min)
A gathering reflects the unity and discipline of spiritual practice. The seminar was peaceful, with everyone practicing love and devotion. Organizers worked tirelessly to create this opportunity. Participants came from many places, yet nationality was irrelevant. The focus was on shared humanity. Spirituality means purity, kindness, humbleness, non-violence, and respect. It involves prayer and meditation to purify the inner self. All five elements exist within the body. Life is given to live happily and peacefully. Yoga is union and walking one's own path without competition. It is about bringing human to human through kindness and respect. This creates oneness. The expansion of practice is through humility and friendship, not through claiming superiority.
