God is within us
0:10 - 0:39 (29 min)
Morning satsang with Vishaguruji from Rijeka, Croatia. Karma yoga is the best yoga. How should we begin our day? Live happy healthy. Feel that I am a human so I don't harm any creatures. We search for God everywhere but we never look within ourselves. We should do our yoga practice regularly day by day. Vajra nadi is the base of our life. Practising bhramari pranayama.
Pranayama calms down the emotions
0:45 - 1:46 (61 min)
Yoga requires strict discipline and practice to succeed. Announcements are made, but discipline is not followed. Special seating should not exist; everyone should rotate. Sannyāsīs are not exempt and must also work, like cleaning the garden. Work with the earth is essential for health and is a form of worship, yet many avoid it. Obsessive cleaning wastes water. Artificial nail coatings are harmful chemicals. The body is primary, and we have damaged it by distancing ourselves from nature. The ashram's pure environment supports health. Food that tastes good is often unhealthy, and vice versa, as the body's organs struggle with poor nourishment. Yoga integrates diet, exercise, and connection with nature, like tending a tree. Discipline in eating less improves meditation and practice. The recent group meditation was deep and successful. Practice must always begin with the left nostril, the lunar channel governing mind and emotion, to avoid imbalance and harm. Negative emotions like anger primarily damage oneself. Instructions must be checked for correctness. Those with physical limitations should have proper seating. The body is a temple and practice should be comfortable, not torturous.
"Yoga is successful only if you have discipline."
"Yoga will be successful through your karma yoga."

A Student's Gratitude and Svāmījī's Discourse on the Pandemic
1:50 - 2:48 (58 min)
Being a student provides a transformative perspective, seeing the Divine behind outer life. This knowledge frees one from being trapped by external conditions. Practice is both inward and an outward service to others. Chanting mantras with intention generates a powerful vibration that reaches and helps the world. The community remained unafraid, trusting the divine power that radiates outward when lived. Obstacles arise for learning, to be observed and dissolved. The current age is one of pain and difficulty, affecting all life. The pandemic stems from collective human pain, modern chemicals, and the treatment of animals, returning as karmic consequence. True health comes from disciplined living, proper diet, and the integration of yoga into daily life, not from harmful consumption. The Self, the Ātman within, is God. Meditation is returning to this inner Self, not seeking outside. One must be alert, for the body is a temporary home; only the soul is eternal.
"Perhaps we have had a little more time for introspection and our practices."
"I believe this illness has come from the pain, and we have created all of this."

Practising with Vishwaguruji
2:55 - 3:52 (57 min)
A gentle yoga practice integrates postures, breath, and awareness of the subtle energy channels.
Begin by lying on the stomach, placing the elbows down with care. Slowly sit up into a kneeling posture, sitting on the heels with hands on the thighs. The body contains many energy channels, or nāḍīs, with three primary ones: Iḍā, Piṅgalā, and Suṣumṇā. A central channel is the Vajra Nāḍī, a source of immense power for the whole body, related to the area between the toes. Practice involves specific postures like kneeling backbends and seated forward folds, coordinating movement with breath. The practice of Sarvahitāsana benefits all systems of the body. Conclude with listening practices and Brahmrī Prāṇāyāma to cultivate inner balance and self-awareness through sound. Regular, simple practice leads to ease.
"There is one nāḍī. You know the word nāḍīs—the nerves."
"This Sarvahitāsana, for example, myself—every day, two and a half hours, I am practicing that."

Atma is one and body is different
4:50 - 5:43 (53 min)
All spiritual paths and centers, rooted in Indian concepts like dharma, are valid worldwide. We must respect every school and not claim exclusivity. Just as many children in a village each have their own family and name, yet all are children, so do various yoga traditions have their own names and forms. They all share the same essence. The goal is oneness. A guru's value is not in the number of disciples but in their knowledge. We are like drops from one vast ocean; though separate, our essence is the same divine source. All humans and creatures contain that divine essence. We must look within to realize our true nature as the cosmic self. Do not compare or denigrate other paths. All lead to the same truth, just as all children return to their homes.
"One should not say, 'Only mine, that's all.'"
"Holy Gurujī said, 'I have only one āśram, and that's our body.'"

Karma yoga means serving
5:50 - 6:30 (40 min)
Karma yoga is the path of selfless service, the essence of spiritual practice. We gather in nature for sādhana, observing the world's beauty and ceremonies. The groups include those dedicated to seva, the karma yogīs. This practice is found in all religions, like nuns serving the poor, for God resides in everyone. Service is not only grand donations; it is the simple, mindful act of helping. Even in traffic, allowing another driver to pass is seva. Helping an elder with a bag or moving a creature from danger is seva. But one must serve with wisdom, understanding the true need. Action performed skillfully and selflessly is the foundation of yoga. All prayers and meditations are secondary to this. You always have time for seva in thought, word, and deed.
"Who can serve the poor people, the needy people? There is maybe God inside."
"Yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam. Yoga will be successful through the sādhanā, the karma sādhanā."

The Path of Sarvahita: Yoga, Health, and Resilience
6:35 - 7:25 (50 min)
The path of Sarvahita integrates yoga into daily life for holistic health and resilience. Illness can emerge from imbalances in nature and human consumption. Personal discipline through diet, fasting, and consistent yoga practice supports the body's recovery and strength. The nervous system is a vast network connecting every part of the body. Specific exercises and breathwork circulate energy and aid healing. This practice, Sarvahita Yoga, serves the entire body—muscles, nerves, and cells—promoting lasting vitality. It is not for a time but for life, sustaining one through challenges. True health unites body, mind, and inner energy.
"One can also practice some of the services, and slowly, slowly, he will come back healthy again."
"Sarvahita means for our health, our good—our good for everything, for our body, our mind, our concentration."

The real friendship
7:30 - 8:23 (53 min)
Dīvālī commemorates the return of Bhagavān Rām to Ayodhyā. The celebration originates from that event. When the message of his return came, people traveled great distances. As night fell, villagers lit oil lamps to light the path. They decorated trees with food and hung lights. Everyone arrived singing and dancing, without tiredness. The reunion was marked by heartfelt embraces. The following day is for giving gifts and blessings, symbolizing generosity and shared sustenance. The festival of lights represents the inner light of the heart and spiritual love.
"People lit oil lamps so those walking would have a path to follow."
"When you hug someone, your heart and the other’s heart should meet, heart to heart."

Instructions for practicing and teaching yoga
8:30 - 9:12 (42 min)
Integrate spiritual practice into daily life. Maintain your practice at home in the early morning or evening. While walking or driving, refrain from excessive talk to focus on your sādhanā. Carry the peaceful atmosphere of the ashram within you. Be harmonious with your family, sharing your practice gently. Engage with the earth by touching soil in a garden to connect with pure energy. Practice āsanas and prāṇāyāma, such as Kapālabhāti, for health, moving beyond mere reliance on medicine. Yoga is a holistic practice for body and life. Proper learning requires attending classes with a teacher, progressing step by step through different levels. The highest gathering is Satsaṅg, where all come together in truth.
"Yoga is not a religion, it is not spirituality, but health, our body’s health."
"Satsaṅg means sat, sat means the truth, saṅg, saṅg means together."

The Pranas
8:30 - 9:14 (44 min)
The science of prāṇa and prāṇāyāma governs our health and vitality. Ten prāṇas, including Prāṇa and Apāna, sustain specific bodily functions. Specialized prāṇas operate the eyes, ears, heart, and liver. Prāṇa brings nourishment in, while Apāna expels waste; weak Apāna causes issues like constipation. Illness arises from blocked or improper prāṇa flow. Allopathic medicine, while vital for emergencies, often creates side-effects, damaging organs systematically. The superior path is practicing prāṇāyāma, āsanas, meditation, and a vegetarian diet to purify prāṇa. This regulates the Guṇas and Doṣas. Understand the ten prāṇas, respect dietary timing, and listen to your body's signals. Practical application, not just intellectual knowledge, is essential.
"For the eyes, the special prāṇa is that which sits in the eyelids and the visions."
"Prāṇa is that which comes into the body, putting all good qualities into it. Apāna is the pushing out of all the used energy."

Shiva tried to give immortality to Parvati
10:05 - 10:51 (46 min)
The divine union of Śiva and Śakti is the fundamental cosmic principle. All beings originate from the Cosmic, with the soul or God within. The inner self, the Ātmā, is equal in all, male or female. Historically, women were denied spiritual respect, but now equality is recognized. The teaching "Mātṛ Devo Bhava" establishes the mother as the first object of reverence, followed by the father, teacher, and guru. Creation requires both masculine and feminine principles. Śiva, initially whole, contains Śakti within, manifesting as the androgynous Ardhanārīśvara. A story illustrates their inseparability: when the goddess Satī died, Śiva carried her body in grief. To restore cosmic balance, Viṣṇu used the Sudarśana Cakra to dismember the form, creating the sacred Śakti Pīṭhas. Later, Pārvatī sought immortality from Śiva through a night-long mantra, but she fell asleep, and a parrot overheard the secret. This unity exists within each person; husband and wife should be one as Śiva and Śakti are one. Practice purity and non-violence, recognizing the divine in all. Worship leads to the cosmic; otherwise, one remains unfulfilled.
"Shiva and Shakti are one in ourselves, in our body."
"Matri Devo Bhava, first God, is taken as the mother."

You are great but remain on the path
10:55 - 11:48 (53 min)
The living guru and true path are found within an authentic lineage, not through blind faith or exploitation. Modern science connects us physically, but only genuine spiritual transmission guides the soul beyond death. Many teachers and paths exist, each like a mother to her child, yet the root parampara is essential. Discernment is required, as some promise false powers or exploit faith with rituals. True practice involves a pure lifestyle and steady discipline, not mere claims. The breath's exhalation represents the enduring power; life continues beyond this body.

"Exhalation is forever."

Past is gone future is not here yet
11:55 - 12:39 (44 min)
The path is to be present, letting go of past and future.
You have practiced and received knowledge. Our way is to be relaxed and normal, not straining or focusing oddly. What we seek is to know the Self. We follow a given path but must understand it ourselves. We are human with knowledge, yet we do not know what comes after this life. Do not dwell on the past; it is gone like an exhale. We often live in memories or future thoughts, not in the present. Suffering in the present will not last. We must come into our heart and thoughts to be one. Forget the past; your future path will be good. What you have now is here; do not lose it by grasping for more.
"Do not meditate and concentrate on what is gone; learning is gone."
"The past is gone. The present is here. But you think, 'In the future, I will also get this.' But you will not get it."

The Nabhi
12:45 - 13:40 (55 min)
The many paths of yoga converge like rivers into one ocean. Respect all ways of practice. The science of yoga is vast, yet we must understand our own body. The navel, or Nābhi, is the root. A problem there affects the whole system. To progress, one must bring the body under control through proper diet and awareness. Overweight individuals should eat lightly, focusing on salads and seeds, to achieve balance over time. Practice feeling the movement and vibration at the navel. This awareness is the foundation for meditation and self-knowledge. True practice begins from this root, balancing the physical to access deeper states. The sound of OM originates from the navel, rising through the channels to the crown. Balance in the body leads to balance in consciousness.
"Yoga is yoga, but which kind of yoga? It is like this gathering: some have come from the East, some from the West, and all who have come via different paths have seen many different things."
"The navel is the root. Everything is there. When there is a problem with the navel, the whole body will die."

What does Holiness mean
13:45 - 14:52 (67 min)
Life is a spiritual education guided by a greater plan, not by our own designs.
We are not the bosses of our life but artists in a divine play, receiving roles for this lifetime. We are one family moving through lives and places, developing spiritually. Education has two wings: material knowledge for living in the world and spiritual knowledge concerning our origin, purpose, and aim. With only one, we are a bird that cannot fly. The arrival of a great saint brought spiritual guidance, changing everything. This guidance manifests in communities, like the growth of vegetarianism and yoga centers. There are no coincidences; even childhood inclinations align with later spiritual work. When we listen to the Guru's guidance, we are steered past life's obstacles. Our relationship with the Guru is paramount. He gives completely, living for others, which is holiness. Our spiritual practice involves giving—knowledge, service, kindness—which in turn brings growth. The purpose of all yoga activity is spiritual growth, achieved through mindfulness of our inner thoughts and actions. We are to walk step by step, holding the hand of the Master, who leads us to our destination.
"Life is education."
"If we get only one education and not both, we are like a bird with only one wing. We cannot fly."

One day we will be together
16:05 - 16:49 (44 min)
All spiritual paths are one, despite different names and forms. This unity is seen in families where each member has a name, yet the family is one. Similarly, every yoga center and religion, though named differently, converges on the same truth. Just as children in a kindergarten are all beautiful, all spiritual endeavors are good. The human soul is one, despite variations in body or color. Life is like water: individual drops from clouds or rivers ultimately return to and merge with the ocean. Maintaining distinct traditions and knowing one's roots creates harmony, while excessive mixing without understanding leads to confusion. Respect all paths and see the single reality within all forms.
"Yoga is only one yoga; we simply have different names."
"Water is water. It may be in the clouds, in the ocean... but one fine drop comes together with others... and finally returns to the ocean."

The Glory of Gurudeva's Name
16:55 - 17:14 (19 min)
The true means to supreme bliss is satsang, yet worldly pursuits are filled with sorrow. Only the divine incarnation of the Supreme Guru bestows true happiness and Self-knowledge. Without the Guru, there is no knowledge, and without knowledge, sorrow has no end. No being has ever attained the Soul-Supreme without a Guru. Great ascetics with supernatural powers, like Sanghdev who lived 1,400 years, still lacked soul-knowledge until liberated by enlightened saints. Similarly, the egoistic tantric Bhaskarananda was transformed upon hearing the Guru's words, realizing his inner faults. The Guru's name, chanted with faith, crosses the ocean of worldly existence. A human life without devotion is like an animal's; one must perform spiritual practice and service. The root of meditation is the Guru's form; the root of worship is the Guru's feet.
"Śiva, Viṣṇu, Brahmā... guru vinā bhav nidhi tīre na koi." (Even Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma cannot cross the ocean of existence without the Guru.)
"Kabuk deva bhayog karni kar... toy nidayo satguru apke mo jagayo." (Sometimes one becomes a god, sometimes an insect... only the True Guru awakens you.)

The disciple's joy depends solely on the guru's grace. The guru's blessings are transmitted through a living master or the enduring spiritual presence of the lineage. A true disciple follows the Satguru without question, maintaining a dedicated personal practice. The physical lineage chair represents the eternal guru principle. Spiritual progress requires surrendering worldly attachments and mental fixations, as the story illustrates where avoiding a physical touch fostered a mental obsession. The goal is a merger where all distinctions dissolve. Practice regularly but without neglecting worldly duties.
"Many people may not understand. They think that if their guru is not physically present anymore, they must have some other guru."

We Cannot Deny Guru Principle
18:25 - 19:03 (38 min)
Guru Pūrṇimā has two explanations. The first is the day the earth first experienced the complete light of sun and moon directly, symbolizing the union of Śiva’s power and the earth. The second is the birthday of Vedavyāsa, who preserved the spoken wisdom into written Vedas to sustain it.
The guru principle is eternal and undeniable, like nature's existence. All learning systems, from kindergarten professors to animal parents, rely on this paramparā. This wisdom awakens hidden potential through the interaction of master and disciple. Authentic knowledge flows from Śruti, the heard scriptures, into Smṛti, remembered tradition, conveyed by a Śrotriya to a listener. The qualified guru, a Śrotriya Brahmaniṣṭha, imparts Brahmavidyā beyond gender. Vedavyāsa, foreseeing humanity's fading memory, transcribed the Vedas with Gaṇeśa's aid under a strict pact of uninterrupted speech. This act preserved Sanātana Dharma, the eternal universal law inherent in life itself, which continues regardless of personal belief.
"One person came to Mahāprabhujī and said, 'I don’t believe in God.' Mahāprabhujī said, 'And why? Does God lose? We need God; God doesn’t need us.'"
"Ved Vyāsa said, 'I will not wait for one second. Whatever I speak must be written immediately.' Gaṇeś said, 'Done. But if you stop just for half, five seconds, to overthink, I will not write anymore.'"

We are a part of God
19:05 - 20:15 (70 min)
Yoga is one unified path, though taught under many names. It extends far beyond physical postures to encompass the entire life force and consciousness. The practice integrates all aspects of nature, as seen in the 84 traditional āsanas inspired by animals and elements. This discipline is lifelong, like the breath itself, and aims to balance the body's five principles with nature. The ultimate goal is for the individual soul, or jīva, to realize its divine nature and ascend to the highest cosmic consciousness, ending the cycle of rebirth among the 8.4 million life forms. While worldly knowledge progresses outwardly, the yogi's path is an inward journey to the Self. All creatures possess the will to live, and humans must recognize the divine Ātmā within themselves and all beings, moving from identifying with the limited drop to merging with the boundless ocean.
"Yoga is not only physical, for the physical body, or just breath and concentration, etc. Yoga is very far-reaching."
"Your soul, your ātmā in you is your God."
