Path to the meditation
0:15 - 1:22 (67 min)
True meditation is the journey within, not an external projection.
Most meditation involves thoughts going outward, about life or guided imagery. This is not being within oneself. People are truly within themselves for mere seconds. Thinking about being within immediately takes you outside. Even focusing on the body's comfort or discomfort means you are outside it. The goal is to go inward. There are three states of being: the awakened state, the deep sleep state, and the dream state. We must learn to enter a state of conscious, yogic sleep. This brings awareness into the body. To meditate, one must first purify the energy channels through dedicated, singular practice of prāṇāyāma, balancing the breath through the nostrils. This balances the brain. The body's chakras, connected to these channels, must be purified. The aim is to bring the entire being into a balanced, aware unity within.
"Everything is your eternal journey, but not one inch out of your body—and that is your body."
"If you have thoughts for outside... then our meditation is not a meditation."

Blessings from the Kumbha Mela
1:30 - 2:40 (70 min)
A pilgrimage reveals the divine within and around us.
A journey to the Kumbh Melā offers a profound experience of high vibration and collective spirituality. Witnessing the procession of saints and connecting with thousands of devotees creates a beautiful exchange of energy and blessings. Bathing in the Gaṅgā River allows one to feel its divine, feminine energy. The event symbolizes the eternal churning within, the struggle between divine and base qualities, from which the nectar of immortality emerged. True pilgrimage, however, is found at the Guru's feet, where the real Gaṅgā of blessing flows. The ashram itself becomes the real Kumbh Melā, a concentrated field of grace from the Guru lineage.
"It was very, very beautiful, very high vibration, very colorful—so many people."
"The real Kumbh Melā happens actually here in this very āśrama... All that energy... is channeled within this only place here."

The aim of human life: Liberation
2:45 - 3:46 (61 min)
The eternal journey of the soul is our core inquiry. Ādi Śaṅkarācārya's essential question is "Who am I?" I am not this temporary body, which is composed of five elements. The soul enters mortal life through four paths: vegetation, microorganisms, egg-born creatures, and womb-born creatures like humans. This soul is on an endless journey, like a river flowing to the ocean, experiencing many lives based on karma. The human life is a critical opportunity. If we miss our righteous path, we go backwards; if we attain liberation, Mokṣa, we also return, as there is nothing higher. You are not merely eating and breeding; you have a higher purpose. Souls can be trapped, like a bird in a cage, by their own karma. Your spiritual presence here can help liberate such souls. In truth, there is no gender in the soul; non-duality is the ultimate reality. This body is an instrument for the soul. At death, the soul exits through specific channels; a yogi's soul departs through the crown. The journey continues.
"Who am I? I am not this body. The body is just a cover."
"The soul, with the soul which is in one, life enters. Now, endless journey, flowing and flowing."

Purify Yourselves
3:50 - 4:56 (66 min)
Creation arises from divine resonance, and purity is the call of this age. Life is constant movement and change. All beings emerge from the one heart that is Śiva. The universe is filled with resonant sound, Nāda, from which all creation flows. The sun’s essence is pure, immortal energy, not mere heat; its reflected purity brings transformation. The body contains all five elements, sustained by nourishment. True sustenance requires purity in diet and action. A vegetarian diet maintains purity and strength, while impure foods invite affliction. The current global distress is a call to return to purity and dharma. Faith and practice are the path. Call upon the divine name with devotion to be lifted from any pitfall. Practice diligently at home, with faith in the Guru’s presence. Do not seek new scriptures or teachers; the true path and grace are within the established tradition. Give generously to those in need, for generosity multiplies spiritual merit. Hold fast to faith, not fear.
"Through the Nāda only, creation whole. Otherwise, nothing."
"Till today, no one has got the infection... those who are really pure vegetarian."

Yoga in Daily Life - exercise program
5:00 - 6:29 (89 min)
A guided practice of deep relaxation, mindful movement, and breath awareness.
Begin by systematically releasing tension from the feet to the face with each exhale. Practice creating and releasing tension in individual limbs, then the whole body, to feel the contrast. Move with slow, deliberate stretches, coordinating each motion with the breath to explore the body's range. Perform gentle spinal twists and core engagements, always moving within a comfortable range without pain. Conclude with focused breathing exercises to purify and calm the nervous system, followed by a period of silent integration.
"Release the entire torso, both arms, the muscles in the neck, and all the muscles in the face as you send the exhale throughout the entire body."
"The exhalation purifies, releases, and frees you from tension."

In the service of Gurudev
6:35 - 7:35 (60 min)
A heart's plea for grace to make life meaningful and for transformation into a selfless lover.
The mind does not know what to do, creating nothing of its own. Life is spent in worldly attachments, day and night seeking personal gain, enduring sorrow for pleasure. The plea is for such compassion that life is not known as useless. The mind has tried many things but has built nothing of its own. The call is to become a selfless lover, a brother to the world, with the heart filled with all beings. The aspiration is to be made into a knower of bliss.
"He na te ab to aisī dayā ho, jīvan nirarthak jāne na pāyī."
"Apne ku niṣkām premi banāu, ko chāu pāu sansār kā bhāī."

The fire element
7:40 - 8:31 (51 min)
The fire element is crucial for spiritual and physical health. Fire represents both divine light and destructive forces within us. The light of wisdom brings peace, harmony, and positive thoughts, creating a beautiful spiritual atmosphere. Without this light, darkness and ignorance lead to depression and blaming others. Anger is a negative fire that burns consciousness, and modern burnout stems from this inner pressure. Various sacred fires exist: the crematorium's fire, the altar's divine light, and ceremonial fires for foundations, housewarmings, and marriages. These Agni rituals establish harmony; neglecting them invites discord. Digestive fire, jāṭharāgni, governs physical health and temperature. All illness begins in the elemental space. Maintaining the five elements through yogic principles is essential for good health, recognizing God in all things.
"Do not do any mistakes. For example, you drink poison and think, 'Afterwards, I will do good things.' But after this poison, it has killed you already."
"When you give a donation, it is not yours anymore. And if you give, and then you are giving some commentary, then you are giving good things, it is not anymore valid for your good."

Tratak and Tilak
8:35 - 9:37 (62 min)
Trāṭak is concentration through gazing. Tilak is a mark of spiritual balance and wisdom.
Trāṭak involves fixing the gaze on a single point, such as a candle flame, a dot, or the new moon. This practice develops concentration and inner clarity. Gazing directly at the sun should be brief to avoid harm. The true inner light is not a visual phenomenon but the light of wisdom at the Ājñā Chakra. Applying a Tilak at this point symbolizes this wisdom. The Tilak, made from substances like sandalwood paste or ash, helps balance the body's energy channels. It is a spiritual practice, not merely a religious ritual. This balance is part of the eternal natural order. Without discipline and a qualified guide, forceful practice can be dangerous. The power of focused gaze is real, but it must be used with purity and care.
"Trāṭak means we gaze on one object."
"Tilak is very, very important and very spiritual."

Mind and desires
10:45 - 11:37 (52 min)
A mantra is the mind's tool for liberation. The restless mind cannot be controlled by force, like a football in a game you cannot hold. The essence is to transcend the mind and its desires. A poem states: "The mind has died, but 'mine-ness' has not died; the body dies again and again." Desires are illusions, like a mirage of water on a road that retreats as you approach. Hope and thirst bind you. True knowledge sees the reflection for what it is. The path requires purifying the elements and letting go of desire. "The mind has died, but 'mine-ness' has not died; the body dies again and again." "Hope and thirst have not died, says Dāsa Kabīr."

Be healthy, be happy, be good
11:45 - 12:49 (64 min)
Evening Satsang with Vishwaguruji from Szeged, Hungary. Either you use your time or you will lose it. We should clean the antahkaranas. Attachment is the cause of our problems. There are two things: hope and the desires. There are four ways we create karma. Don't leave your parents in the dying room where there is no hope. The first wealth is good health. Clean your body inside with proper food, practising asanas and pranayama. Do not go to restaurants too often. Vishwaguruji invites everyone to Sri Alakhpuriji's cave in the Himalayas.
The Eternal Journey of the Soul
12:55 - 13:56 (61 min)
The eternal journey of the soul is the subject. The soul is not the five elements or the five sheaths: the physical body, the energy body, the mental body, the intellectual body, and the bliss body. The mind coordinates the five senses of knowledge and the five senses of action. It is a reflection of our actions, like a reflection in a mirror. Self-knowledge asks: who am I? From where did I come? Where am I going? The soul is a divine light, equal in all beings. It enters through the navel, connected to the solar plexus and the sound of the sun. The soul's residence is in the heart. One must be vigilant with karma, as a single mistake can undo a lifetime of good work. Realization requires persistent understanding, not merely intellectual knowledge.
"Ko’ham—who am I? I am not these five elements."
"Do not think that the elephant has a big soul and the mosquito or ant has a small soul. The soul is like a fire."

Guru is only one
14:00 - 14:50 (50 min)
The Guru, mantra, and spiritual practice are essential in Kali Yuga. This age is marked by anger and disease globally. Those following a sattvic diet and yoga practice remained healthy, as research shows. The science of yoga provides protection. Mantra practice is paramount, and the mantra given by one's Guru is fundamental. The Guru's word is the true essence, not the physical form. One must not seek a second initiating guru, though one may listen to all saints. All life originates from the same source, like drops from one ocean. Spiritual progress requires meditation, mantra, and adherence to the Guru's word.
"Only one guru you have, your guru."
"Do not think of the body of the guru... that mantra which is given by the guru is like a seed planted in your body."

Yoga comes from God Shiva
17:16 - 18:05 (49 min)
The coronavirus is like a serpent that approaches softly as we rest, its poison potent even when we feel safe. Our vigilance must remain. The human being is composed of five sheaths. The physical body is the food sheath, annamaya kośa. Next is the vital energy sheath, prāṇamaya kośa, which is life itself and Paramātmā. Then comes the mental sheath, manomaya kośa. The mind moves at the highest speed; it can bind us or take us to the cosmic. This is followed by the intellectual sheath, vijñānamaya kośa, and the bliss sheath, ānandamaya kośa. We exist in three states: waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. Yoga is the science given for realizing this, extending beyond postures to practices like brahmari prāṇāyāma. Maintain your practice and discipline.
"The mind can kill us, or the mind can bring us to the cosmic."
"Yoga is that Śiva, and that Śiva brings that."

Nada is the Sound
21:10 - 21:59 (49 min)
Nādarūpa Parabrahma is the formless Supreme Brahman manifest as primordial sound. The first manifestation was sound, the nāda, emerging from endless space. This sound is eternal and within all. The universe cycles from this sound into light, air, fire, water, and then physical forms. Consciousness, or Chetan, is awakened and without desire, unlike human consciousness which is bound by desire. The five sheaths of the body—Annamaya, Prāṇamaya, Manomaya, Vijñānamaya, and Ānandamaya—contain this consciousness. Prāṇa is the divine life force; when it departs, the body is without energy. True understanding comes from listening within, beyond the five elements. The practice of yoga nidrā leads to a rare state of conscious sleep, connecting to deeper realities.
"The sound is there—nāda. Everything is coming into the sound, and we will go into the sound."
"Prāṇa is God. And what is that prāṇa? Our happiness, our good friend."

The Imperative of Daily Practice
22:05 - 22:44 (39 min)
A call to serious, daily yoga practice is essential for health and purification.
Many appear as practitioners but do not practice consistently at home, leading to physical problems. The body naturally produces vikāras (illnesses) and is dominated by the tamas and rajas guṇas. A sāttvic body, free from vikāra, must be cultivated through disciplined effort. When the body is impure, the mind and intellect become clouded with negative thoughts and dullness. This obscures one's reality. Therefore, consistent practice of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and cleansing techniques is the only means of thorough purification. Daily discipline, along with seasonal Śaṅkha Prakṣālana and weekly Kuñjalakriyā, prevents health issues. Diet must also become sāttvic, avoiding meat and eggs, while learning how and when to eat properly. The foundation is purifying āhāra (diet), vihāra (recreation), ācāra (behavior), and vicāra (thought).
"Practicing means at home, not just here. Here, you are only learning."
"When the body is not healthy, when it is full of vikāras, then the thoughts are also full of vikāras."
