Atma and the Soul
0:15 - 0:56 (41 min)
The essence is realizing the non-dual Self, or Ātmā Anubhūti. Our practice, Kriyā Anuṣṭhāna, is a resolve for this experience. The individual Ātmā is ultimately one with the supreme Paramātmā, like space within different vessels. Śaṅkarācārya's non-dual philosophy teaches this unity. He used the example of one moon reflected in many cups of water; the reflections are many, but the moon is one. Similarly, the one Ātmā is reflected in all beings. Ignorance creates duality, like mistaking a rope for a snake, which brings fear. True knowledge dispels this illusion. We must practice diligently, not procrastinate, to awaken to the light of this knowledge and realize we are the pure, everlasting Ātmā.
"Śaṅkarācārya said there is duality in matter, but unity is in oneness in Ātmā."
"From where did the snake come? How did the fear awake? That was ignorance."

Around the world - Yoga against backpain SLO
1:15 - 1:51 (36 min)
Yoga for the spine integrates anatomy, function, and daily practice. The spine is an axial skeleton of 24 vertebrae protecting the spinal cord. It is supported by muscles and ligaments for posture and movement. Pain arises from acute overload or chronic misalignment, disc wear, and disease. Everyday postures, like prolonged sitting, strain the spine by distorting its natural S-curve. Incorrect lifting multiplies force on the lumbar vertebrae. The intervertebral disc's fluid core distributes force, but poor loading can cause herniation. Sudden twists and high heels also increase risk. A consistent ten-minute yoga sequence can alleviate and prevent issues. It includes morning stretching, rocking, twists, shoulder exercises, side bends, rowing, and cat poses. Practice slowly, with awareness, and never force through pain. This mobilizes the spine, relieves tension, and increases energy.
"The most common among all these incorrect postures is this one... we sit every day like this for eight hours."
"Try it, you will see... In a month, you will see what a difference it will make."

Kundalini: The Serpent Power of Destiny
4:25 - 5:15 (50 min)
Kundalini is the dormant serpent power of destiny within consciousness. This energy, symbolized by the snake representing time and death, is our latent potential. Our life is governed by destiny, which is the product of our own past actions. No one else is responsible. To navigate this destiny, one must act with awareness of deśa and kāla—place and time. Controlling emotions and adjusting to circumstances brings harmony. The goal is awakening this Kundalini, which is enlightenment—the light of wisdom and love within. This liberation frees one from destiny's power. Human life is rare, and having spiritual interest and a guide is a great blessing for this journey.
"Destiny is the product of your own actions. No one is there to be blamed."
"Act according to the time and place. Whoever can adjust himself or herself to this time and situation will be successful."

We seek purity
6:10 - 6:21 (11 min)
The call is for purity in the Kali Yuga. This age is powerful and far-reaching, observed in trends like the prevalence of dark colors. Beautiful colors and purity are presented within the teachings and bhajans. One must not identify with blackness but with purity. The term pū describes a seeker in a dry state, refusing impure water and awaiting a single pure drop from above. We must proceed with this aspiration. In our practice, be very pure and clean. Declare "I am," for that sound is purity itself. True peace is found by looking to God within; it is here. This realization comes not in months but at life's end.
"Please do not be black, please do not be black."
"I am, I am... My sound, 'I am,' is pure—it is purity itself."

We suffer because we left Nature
6:25 - 7:15 (50 min)
The true home is found not in the blood family, but in the spiritual family and the heart's openness. Our worldly home can be difficult, but yoga reveals the whole world as God's family. Understanding religious festivals requires the light of a self-realized master, transforming belief into spirituality. Gatherings in that light are different, guided by Ahiṃsā.
We must become like a wooden spoon that retains sweetness, not a metal spoon that is washed clean. This requires opening the heart with humility; ego acts like Teflon, causing everything to slide away. When returning to a non-spiritual environment, maintain inner softness and practice. We are in God's garden meant to bear fruit. Knowledge must be given or it is lost; this is a living tradition, Sanātana Dharma.
The path to Brahman, the highest reality, requires a guru. Humility is key: the small ant finds the sugar, not the large elephant. The female principle is highly divine. Human suffering arises because we have left nature. We must return to a natural way of living through yoga and diet, and teach what we learn.
"Slowly, we will gain that sweetness. That is all we need."
"Humbleness, kindness, and that clear-minded bhakta will find that Satguru."

Shiva is universal
9:45 - 10:06 (21 min)
The human body and all life are profoundly influenced by the seasons and the earth's radiance. The greatest threat today is climate change, caused by human greed. This mental pollution creates physical pollution, leading to drought and suffering. If we had followed the prayers and instructions of ancient sages, this situation would not exist. People pray for rain, but often do so selfishly as beggars. Śiva asks for unconditional love and devotion, not begging. The use of chemical pesticides creates unbearable heat in the earth, harming it like a cancer and contributing to environmental breakdown. The four monsoon months are designated for dedicated worship and meditation on Lord Śiva. Śiva is the eternal, undestroyable consciousness from which all manifestation arises. I advise all to meditate on Śiva and repeat the mantra. Prayer must come from a heart of endless love, not like morning dew that vanishes. Pray for forgiveness and for the sake of all creatures and vegetation.
"Mother Earth has enough for everyone’s need, but not for their greed."
"Where there is love, there are no conditions: unconditional love, unconditional devotion."

The Awakening of Kuṇḍalinī: A Journey to Happiness, Love, and Wisdom
10:10 - 10:38 (28 min)
The awakening of Kuṇḍalinī brings happiness, universal love, and wisdom. Our journey spans many lives as we develop individual consciousness, which is part of the cosmic Self. Yoga is the practice of reunion with that Self. Energy from the cosmos is received through rotating chakras and circulates through five bodily layers. The causal body holds two levels: transient joy and divine, everlasting bliss. The soul is a collection of karma and qualities, not the eternal Self. At self-realization, this collection dissolves. When the physical body dies, karma persists like a shadow, guiding the soul's future. Chakras must be purified through mantra and practice for a stable awakening. Without guidance, imbalanced energy causes disturbance. The term Kuṇḍalinī refers to feminine energy residing in the unconscious, with its serpentine movement through the nerves symbolizing this awakening.
"Yoga means union, and practicing yoga means reunion."
"The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī means happiness, universal love, and wisdom."

The Journey Beyond Duality: Life, Self, and the Path to Oneness
11:35 - 12:47 (72 min)
Life is a journey beyond duality toward the oneness of the Self. Two primal energies exist: the divine power leading to liberation and the negative power. The true Self, the Ātmā, is immortal and beyond these dualities, karma, and the cycle of life and death. The individual soul, however, experiences this duality. To transcend it, one must balance the inner energies. The practice of yoga is this union. The body is governed by three qualities: purity, activity, and inertia. These are influenced by lifestyle and nourishment. We perceive through five senses of knowledge and act through five senses of action. Life force, or Prāṇa, flows through channels in the body. Harmonizing the lunar and solar channels through breath leads to balance. True Haṭha Yoga consists of six purification techniques for inner health. Energy centers, or chakras, exist within the body, from the earthly base to the divine crown. Activating the highest center can lead to profound spiritual awakening. The soul's final exit reflects the quality of one's life and consciousness.

Real health comes from Nature
14:55 - 15:54 (59 min)
Health involves both conventional medicine and natural, yogic approaches. Doctors often manage symptoms without providing lasting cures. Many ailments persist despite treatment. Natural methods from India, like yoga and specific exercises, offer profound benefits. Certain tree barks and natural preparations can address stomach and bodily issues where medicine fails. I am not a doctor; I am a yogi pointing to what is natural. Practice simple postures and breathing. Consistency with these natural methods brings health. Both systems have value, but the natural path is deeply restorative and often overlooked. True well-being comes from harmonizing with nature's intelligence.

"This medicine also does not cure; they cannot cure it."

The Union of Consciousness: Yoga, Chakras, and the Human Journey
16:00 - 16:31 (31 min)
Yoga is the union of individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness, achieved through balance. The universe is an endless, conscious body. Within it, the divine will manifested as the sound Aum, from which the elements emerged. The human form is special due to its educable intellect. The physical body is sustained by 72,000 energy channels, or nāḍīs, which distribute cosmic energy. Three principal nāḍīs—Iḍā, Piṅgalā, and Suṣumṇā—govern our being and intersect at energy centers called chakras. The dormant spiritual power, Kuṇḍalinī, awakens as super-consciousness, uniting these energies. Our current consciousness is often mired in lower chakras, leading to animalistic behaviors and negative emotions like jealousy. The mind cannot be controlled, only guided, as it moves between the conscious and subconscious. Physical death is a recycling of elements, analogous to the soul's reincarnation.
"Yoga means balance. Where there is balance, there is harmony. Where there is harmony, there is unity."
"The mind cannot be controlled. If you control the mind, then psychic problems will appear. You cannot control the river, you cannot block it, you can guide the river."
