What does Yoga in Daily Life mean?
6:30 - 6:56 (26 min)
This is the day of oneness, the middle point in our sādhanā. We must practice every year and go forward, not back. Yoga in Daily Life began from Czechoslovakia and has spread worldwide; it is for all. Our sādhanā comes from Ālagpurījī and Devpurījī, through Holy Gurujī and Mahāprabhujī. Holy Gurujī gave me this chair, which is from God. Sitting here signifies oneness. We are to become gurus, but that happens only at life's end through true inner practice, not merely in time. I work with Mahāprabhujī. We are all together in this. The Nandi statue sees Holy Gurujī's samādhi and Śiva; offering to it brings blessings. We must continue every year.
"All will be only one. It doesn't matter who, what will be. One in all, and all in one."
"This chair is from God, Bhagavān... then you become the Parabrahma, Paramatmā."

We are one family
8:10 - 8:27 (17 min)
This spiritual community is our true home, while worldly family ties are temporary bonds of karma. Our past shapes us, but here we are disciples. Complete faith and surrender are essential; a clean heart is the vessel for grace. Mantra and prayer purify the mind. Satsaṅg is vital for connection, whether in person or online. The Guru embodies the entire lineage; we cannot hide from this benevolent awareness, which provides what we need.
"This is our Gurudeva, our father and mother. So spiritually, we have our home here."
"If you truly have faith, you will not dwell on your problems so much, because your Guru will find all ways of solving them."

The first sound came from the ocean
8:35 - 9:11 (36 min)
The supreme reality is the form of primordial sound. Nāda, or resonance, permeates all existence from the Brahma-randhra. The ocean is the mother of the world, the source of life and this sound. Kundalini and the chakras represent an eternal process, not an end. In creation, two principles exist: male and female. Within each individual, there is a balance of these opposing energies; males contain female feelings and females contain male feelings, causing them to seek completion in each other. This union is the seed, composed of prāṇa and the elements. The horse is considered a complete male, a holy being without certain symbolic attributes. A king's relationship to his people is that of a father to his children. In the story, King Sāgar performed a horse sacrifice. The horse entered the hermitage of the meditating sage Kapila Muni. Sāgar's sons disturbed the sage, who opened his eyes and burned them to ashes with his gaze. The king begged for their lives, and the sage granted his blessing. These divine narratives recur across the ages.
"The mother of this our world is the ocean."
"In our whole body, as a man, we have more feelings than females inside. That's why they are going more towards the female."

The power of Gurudev's blessing
9:15 - 9:45 (30 min)
The great fortune of satsang and the sacred power of prasada.
Being in satsang is our great luck, a refuge from the affairs of this age. This is not mental fast food but rich spiritual nourishment requiring strong inner fire to digest. Simply being in this radiant atmosphere grants energy and purification. I once thought greeting the teacher was a loss of lecture time, but after decades I see it is the most important part. The prasada received is very rare. A lecture is nice inspiration, but to bow and receive grace is precious. This act releases many karmas. Prasada is the essential, holy substance that can completely change a life, as can true darshan. We must prize this energy, keep it, and let it shine in our homes. Maintain purity within and transmit that. We are all one here in this practice.
"To come, to bow down, to greet, to come very near to your Gurudev and receive prasāda... we must realize how precious this is."
"That Prasāda is completely able to change our life, if we know what Prasāda is."

Chanting divine mantras
9:50 - 10:23 (33 min)
The Guru is the supreme grace and the sole means to liberation.
Without the Guru's grace, no being can cross the ocean of worldly existence. The Guru bestows self-knowledge, making one fearless. By listening to the Guru's verses, one attains all perfections and happiness. The Guru is the indestructible supreme reality, a boat of divine name carrying souls to the other shore. No one is a greater benefactor than the Guru. When a soul comes before the Guru, sins of countless ages are erased. Where the Guru's grace falls, no desire remains. Service to the Guru destroys all obstacles and reveals the light of the supreme self. One who serves the Guru is rare. The Guru's enemy is the worst; their work is never fulfilled. The Guru is Vishnu, the Guru is Shiva; the Guru is verily the supreme reality. The root of meditation is the Guru's form; the root of liberation is the Guru's grace.
"Guru samāna dātā koī nahīṁ, rājā barṣa āśa karai."
"Guruḥ śakṣāt parabrahma tasmai śrī gurave namaḥ."

The hidden powers in humans - Nadis
11:15 - 11:46 (31 min)
Yoga is the union of individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness, achieved through balance. The universe is an endless cosmic body containing a consciousness that desired to multiply, initiated by the sound Oṁ. From this resonance, the five elements were created, forming 8.4 million creatures, including humans distinguished by intellect. The human body contains 72,000 energy channels (nāḍīs) receiving cosmic energy. Three primary channels—Iḍā, Piṅgalā, and Suṣumṇā—govern emotion, activity, and consciousness, intersecting at energy centers called chakras. Key chakras include Mūlādhāra and Sahasrāra. Kuṇḍalinī is the symbolic serpentine energy whose awakening unites these channels. Consciousness (Śiva) and energy (Śakti) must coordinate. Lower chakras relate to animalistic behaviors when active without heart coordination. The mind coordinates between subconscious impressions and conscious desires; it cannot be controlled, only guided. Physical practices are not yoga itself but methods to create the balance that is yoga.
"Yoga means balance, and where there is a balance, there is a harmony, and where there is a harmony, there is a unity, and therefore yoga means literally the union: the union of the individual consciousness with the cosmic consciousness."
"The mind cannot be controlled. If you control the mind, then psychic problems will appear. You cannot control the river, you cannot block it, you can guide the river."

The materialized OM
11:50 - 12:12 (22 min)
A refreshing wind signals progress as we prepare for the temple's opening in four months, a short time when busy. The leader's presence accelerates the work, though daily changes are subtle until seen from afar. This completion is a divine achievement of a great vision, yet it is not an end but a step in perpetual creation. Our role is to participate and support, for every small action has effect. This place transforms the land and society, carrying a universal vibration. We must invite skilled helpers to share in this work for future generations, a gift for all humanity to draw nearer to the divine.
"Time seems to run more quickly when we are busy, when we engage ourselves in activities."
"This area will never be completed. It is like the universe."

How to keep our purity
12:50 - 13:14 (24 min)
The human being contains a fundamental purity. We are diverse and cannot all become one, yet we are ourselves. Many people eat meat and are going down, but here we are pure. Open your eyes in the morning and see only "I am human." The earth is pure, and pure water comes from above. Within the vast ocean of existence, something very pure comes from within us, like a crystal. In sleep, we travel far from ourselves, yet return quickly. This inner experience is the purity we call a yogī. Our eyes are very powerful; we must be clear and controlled with them. Those who eat purely are very good. You do not need to know my name; it is inside. We have done work to maintain purity so others may not spoil it.
"Open your eyes in the morning, so when we are just open. And so, when we open our eyes, then we see only, 'I am human.'"
"And so, whatever it is with us, it is your beautiful best, all that is the purity. So that is what we call a yogī."

Building the Ashram
13:20 - 13:55 (35 min)
This is our ashram, a place of being and bliss. We are all here together, sitting with sādhus and yogīs, and it is very good. The essence must be in our body. An ashram is our home. Understanding comes from above, from God to mother to human. It arrives directly, like from Akkar to Nābhi. Even a mother may not know how it comes, but it is our prophet. God is the only one and will become human. If humans belong to India, then all children are equal. That one will enter God, will enter the body. We must care for the human mind. We are here, and we will do the work. In construction, one must think about how people feel inside. A building is not just a roof; it should be pleasant. The best materials are natural, like wood and straw, which support humans. Materials modified by humans, like bricks and lime, are good. Stones like sandstone are neutral, but granite harms the body. Modern materials like steel and concrete are dead and not healthy. We follow Vāstu Śāstra, the science of building, so the earth supports everyone living there. We use lime, not just cement, for healthier buildings. Wood is the best material and can be used for multi-story buildings and large halls.
"This is our ashram; this is our ashram. And when you see it, oh, it is very nice."
"The best materials are natural, like wood and straw, which support humans."

Gurudev bring us to your shelter
14:00 - 14:32 (32 min)
The mantra is a prayer glorifying the Grandmaster and requesting his shelter. Oṁ is the universe's beginning, middle, and end. "Namaḥ" means "I offer respects," often sung as "namo." "Śrī" signifies respect. "Prabhu" means God. "Dīpa" means light. "Nārāyaṇa" is a name for God, specifically Viṣṇu. Thus, the first part greets the respected God, the light Nārāyaṇa. The second part is a request. "Hama saba" means "we all." "Dāsa" means servant. "Śaraṇa" means shelter, and "pārāyaṇa" means we come or are in that shelter. The full meaning is a greeting and a plea for protection. Additional lines praise him as the purest, the giver of great happiness, and the destroyer of all suffering. The highest happiness is self-realization, not fleeting pleasures. He is merciful and protects his devotees. Being a devotee is not blind following; it means practicing the teachings, like yoga in daily life.
"Oṁ, greetings to the respected God, the light Nārāyaṇa. We are all servants of God; we take shelter in you."
"He is so merciful that he helps us emerge from the mess we create with our countless desires."

Prana and pranayam
14:40 - 15:27 (47 min)
The science of prāṇāyāma addresses the profound pollution of our existence. Prāṇa, the vital energy, is managed through three processes: Pūrak (inhalation), Rechak (exhalation), and Kumbhak (retention). Sanskrit, the language of this science, resonates deeply, expanding consciousness. Our existence relies on the five elements, with the earth as a nurturing mother who forgives our pollution. Yet now, her forgiveness is strained by our actions. We poison the outer earth—its waters and air—and then our own bodies with toxins and disease. The worst pollution is mental, leading to violence and ignorance. Yoga is designed for this. It is the first science, integrating our five bodies—physical, energetic, mental, intellectual, and blissful. Success in yoga comes through karma, selfless action, but is opposed by the great enemy: laziness. The fire of yoga practice burns away all karmic seeds. Prāṇāyāma is more crucial than physical postures; it purifies and protects. It begins by balancing the psychic channels: the left nostril (Chandra, the moon) calms emotions, and the right (Sūrya, the sun) clarifies intellect. This purification of the nāḍīs is the primary tool for deep meditation and strength.
"To pollute the earth is a sin. It means you pollute Mother Earth."
"The most dangerous pollution is in the human mind."

Welcoming Address and Valedictory Session on Yoga for Wellness
18:00 - 19:08 (68 min)
Yoga for wellness is this year's subject, focusing on its global role in health. Yoga has moved from Indian tradition to global practice, increasing our responsibility. The conference aims to establish policy parameters. Two key features were discussed: the holistic integration of traditional and modern medicine, and yoga's specific impact on diseases. Integration must evolve from simple co-location to active cross-referrals between systems. The ultimate aim is to use yoga to reduce the number of patients. For global acceptability, scientific evidence for yoga's value is essential, beyond mere assertion. This requires research and the collaboration of practitioners from both traditional and modern medicine seen here today. The goal is to shape government policy for a healthy India.
"Yoga has no side effects."
"We need to generate scientific evidence about the value of yoga if we want true acceptability."

The Inner Conflict of Śiva
20:15 - 21:10 (55 min)
The inner conflict arises when devotion is tested by personal attachment. Śiva knows Satī has concealed her test of Rāma. She claims she only paid respects, hiding that she took Sītā's form. Śiva meditates, sees the truth, and praises Rāma's protective power. An inner dialogue begins. Śiva faces a dilemma: Satī is pure and cannot be rejected, yet loving her now feels like a sin because she assumed Sītā's form. He fears losing his devotion to Rāma. This crack in resonance cannot be repaired. He decides inwardly that unity through this transformed body is impossible. Śiva, steadfast in devotion, leaves for the Himalayas. A divine voice praises his solid devotion. Satī, hearing this, is scared and sad, realizing her mistake but struggling with doubt. Finding the way back from error is hard. Reality cannot be changed by any philosophy. Negative talk divides oneness.
"Thank you, Lord. It is your power, your māyā, that always protects me."
"If I will love now the Satī, then my bhakti, part of my bhakti, will be lost."
