We search for the divine source while trapped in human conflict. Our spiritual root is Ālagpurījī, connected to the Kailāśa mountain, the kingdom of Śiva. There have been countless Yugas. Divine figures like Śiva manifested; they were not born. Yet in this Kali Yuga, many religions and interpretations arose. People fight over "my God" versus "your God," but no one has truly seen God. If God were seen in form, like Jesus, that form might be rejected or crucified. We divide the earth into countries and houses, forgetting our shared humanity. The soul journeys through many bodies, like coal becoming a diamond through immense pressure and time. Our spiritual practice is this purification. But human jealousy pulls down anyone who rises, like crocodiles in a tale. We cling to titles and differences, forgetting the soul is one. Scriptures are like injections to prevent bad behavior, yet we still fight. Truth alone wins. Hold to your inner truth against all temptation. Yoga is the singular union of the individual soul with the Supreme. It is Ādi Anādi, beginningless and endless. The eternal space contains consciousness, called cetan. Yoga is the harmonizing, balancing, and uniting of these principles into oneness. This union is between Jīvātmā, the individual soul, and Paramātmā, the Supreme Soul. The purpose of all yoga paths is to achieve this. Haṭha Yoga requires strict discipline, Kāyā Sādhana, to balance the body and mind. A true Haṭha Yogī forges their own path like a lion, not following the common road. They require purification, as energy transfers between people like an infection, disrupting meditation and clarity. The yogī must protect their energy and not change their determined course, even against opposing winds. Achieving this balance leads to liberation. "Yoga means the balance. Health is founded on proper yoga practice, not mere postures. Yoga in Daily Life is a scientific system for physical, mental, social, and spiritual health. Many have been cured of disease through correct sādhanā. The most foolish approach is to begin with strenuous postures alone; health must be cultivated naturally. The body is sustained by five elements and composed of five sheaths. The first sheath is the physical body, nourished by food. The second is the energy body, sustained by fresh air and fresh, vital food. Dead, reheated food lacks prāṇa and creates illness. The third sheath is the mind, which cannot be killed because desire cannot be killed. Hope and longing are also immortal. Running after desires is like chasing a mirage; it destroys life. What is destined will come without frantic pursuit. Practice should be purposeful. Prāṇāyāma is more powerful than āsanas, but one must know which technique is for which benefit. The divine lineage flows from the Himalayan Siddha Pīṭha of Alakpurījī. This holy place in the high valleys near Badrināth is where Alaknandā and another river meet.
