Guru brings us to the liberation
0:45 - 1:37 (52 min)
The spiritual power of early morning is essential for health and liberation.
Waking before sunrise is a profound spiritual practice. Great beings advise against eating after sunset and emphasize rising before the sun. The predawn humidity on grass is considered Amṛta, a sustaining nectar. Walking barefoot on this morning dew for a few minutes can alleviate many ailments. Modern life, with late sleep schedules, creates laziness and prevents this. Go to sleep early, a few hours after sunset. All of nature, including flowers and animals, awakens with this early energy. A story illustrates the bondage of worldly attachment. A farmer, blessed with a son by a sādhu, becomes too attached to his family to seek liberation. Through many lifetimes—as a cow, a dog, and a cobra—he remains bound. Finally, through the guru's grace, he is reborn as a bee in a lotus offered to the Divine, achieving liberation. The persistent guru ultimately guides the soul to freedom. Connect with this morning energy by walking barefoot on wet grass or stones to absorb its power.
"To see the early morning before the sun is one of the best spiritual thoughts."
"When the real guru is there, not this life, next life, it will bring him to liberation."

Parabrahma Paramatma is behind the Moon and the Sun
1:45 - 2:12 (27 min)
The true guru guides the journey beyond form to the absolute. Many speak of heaven, but such states are not final; beings cycle through realms, including animal forms. True progress is like water evaporating from the ocean to form pure clouds, representing a refined state. That purity is accessed through true satsang. The real Satguru is a pure manifestation beyond Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva, never speaking negatively. Bhagavān Śrī Devapurījī is that light, identified with the sun and existing beyond it, guiding beings to Parabrahman. He cannot be captured in a photo; to see him is to see the sun. Religion is a human construct. The ātmā is equal in all beings, from humans to ants. The body is temporary; the Self departs. The true guru gives only purity, enabling passage through the sun to Parabrahman.
"Devapurījī said, 'If you want to see me like a picture, then my picture to see is the sun.'"
"The real guru will give only pure, very pure."

Purify your body
2:20 - 2:53 (33 min)
Yoga is one, with many branches from a single root. Purification of the body is the essential first step, known as Hatha Yoga. This is not merely postures but constant cleansing. Techniques like neti cleanse the nostrils, while practices like Śaṅkha Prakṣālana purify the stomach. These acts of purification are the six traditional techniques. Hatha also signifies the necessary force in practice, illustrated in life's simple resistances. True practice requires this disciplined force to achieve purity, preparing one for deeper spiritual work.
"Yoga is just one. From it, there are so many branches, like one tree."
"The first step in yoga is called the purification of the body. This is Hatha Yoga."

Yoga in Daily Life: Health Promotion in the Czech Republic
3:00 - 3:13 (13 min)
Yoga in Daily Life systematically promotes health in the Czech Republic. The system began here in 1973, based on the traditional concept of Vedānta. It offers training on four levels: physical, mental, social, and spiritual, for everyone regardless of background. This aligns with the national health strategy, which now explicitly includes spiritual health. New government action plans until 2020 target areas where yoga can directly contribute: promoting physical activity, proper nutrition, mental health, reducing risky behaviors, and mitigating environmental stress. The system's sophisticated, methodology-unique techniques make it suitable for research and intervention programs, with publications available for specific health groups. The association has grown to become the largest in the country, with a widespread network of centers offering lessons.
"The state belongs to those that allow and highly appreciate cooperation with public, private, and non-governmental organizations."
"This harmonizing of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual level, is truly the only chance to keep peace and development in our society."

Help every creature
3:35 - 4:00 (25 min)
Compassion for all living beings is the urgent teaching.
The world experiences great heat and drought. Many animals suffer and die from lack of water. While the ocean is vast and salty, sustaining life within it, life on land requires fresh water. We must help where we can. Our circumstances change, as illustrated by an old story. A mother gives her son a ring, explaining it signifies that difficult times will pass and good times will also change. This is the nature of life. We are to learn from such teachings. Therefore, we must act with practical kindness. Use water wisely. Provide water for animals and birds. Share what you have with all creatures. This is a great blessing.
"Whenever you have any problems... look in the ring. Good days will come."
"We should help everyone, not only humans, but all birds and animals and everything."

Yoga and health
4:05 - 5:11 (66 min)
The essence of a yogic life integrates body, breath, and mindful living.
Care for the body through exercise and yoga; neglect brings illness and suffering. Movement is vital, but excess is harmful. Practice moderation. Breath work and meditation nourish the lungs and system. Diet is crucial; consuming meat introduces impurities and disease. Familial ailments can be addressed through lifelong prāṇāyāma. Simple yogic techniques, like using water on the face and nostrils, awaken the body's cells and promote health. The goal is a long, happy life. Householders who work and maintain stable families are great yogīs, providing essential support. Spiritual practice is for everyone, not just ascetics. True yoga brings health, peace, and understanding.
"Movement is very important. Meditation, breath exercises—what we call playing with the breath—are vital."
"Either do not have children, or if you do, the children should have one father and mother in oneness."

Singing bhajans by Swami Gajanandji
5:00 - 5:37 (37 min)
Devotion is the direct expression of the heart's longing for the divine. The song is an offering, a plea for refuge in the guru, who is the true shelter. Through repetitive chanting and praise, the individual consciousness seeks to dissolve. The devotee acknowledges personal incapacity for rigorous practice, surrendering entirely to grace. Worldly attachments and the snares of illusion are recognized as binding. The sole request is for the guru's compassionate hand to provide crossing. Liberation is described as the burning away of latent impressions and the cessation of identification with elemental principles. The act of singing itself becomes the transformative path.
"O Swāmījī, you live within, you live in my heart."
"Japa tapa na hove mujhase, yahī Prabhu ārajāhe."

Mahaprabhuji is endless joy
5:15 - 5:34 (19 min)
Worldly joy is fleeting and contains hidden sorrow, but divine joy is endless. Human happiness is brief and intertwined with suffering, for every gain conceals equal or greater pain. Only the Supreme One's joy is boundless. An incarnate liberator provides a living refuge beyond scriptures. Merely reading teachings without following them brings no solution. True peace is found not in escape but in unwavering devotion to that divine source.
"Blessed is the land where the Divine Soul incarnates, Satguru Dev."
"We are those birds. We want to fly away... Again, only in God can we come and rest."

Science of chakras
5:40 - 6:56 (76 min)
Yoga is the union of individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness, achieved through harmony and balance. The cosmic energy governs the universe, and this principle of union was discovered by ancient yogis. The individual soul is a spark of the divine light, present in all life. We originate from the cosmic sound and are composed of the five elements. Our journey involves many births, guided by karma, as the soul moves through forms and relations. The human body contains dormant energy centers called chakras, connected by 72,000 channels. Three primary channels—Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna—regulate energy, mind, and activity, converging at key points to form the chakras. These centers correspond to the elements and levels of consciousness, from the earthly Muladhara to the divine Sahasrara. Activating these centers through practice leads toward liberation.
"Yoga means union—the union of the individual consciousness with the cosmic consciousness."
"What is existing in the universe is existing in your body."

A call for conscious living and holistic health.
Modern life has brought widespread disease, largely due to adulterated food from chemical additives and seed modifications. This harms humanity and all animals. We must return to organic, original foods and teach our children this and familial respect, as connection is lost. True knowledge comes from ancient scriptures, not transient modern sources. Spiritual practice is essential. We need healthy food, a pure yoga practice, and authentic guru-disciple relationships. For physical health, adopt a simple fast of two days per week, drinking only good water. Practice key techniques: Aśvinī Mudrā to heal hemorrhoids, applying a tiny amount of oil or ghee to the navel daily for overall health, and Brahmrī to alleviate headaches. These require consistent practice over time.
"Try to get all organic food for your house. If there is one day with no organic food to eat, then do not eat for that day."
"Two days in one week: give up food, drink water. You will see that your diseases, many diseases, will go away."

Releasing the knots of the heart
8:10 - 8:46 (36 min)
A spiritual journey moves from seeking to self-understanding.
One arrives seeking external knowledge, like meditation. The path provides a structured environment of seva, sādhanā, and community. This life becomes a precious opportunity for inner focus. The external world and interactions serve as mirrors. Irritation reveals pre-existing inner patterns, not the other's fault. Life's purpose is pedagogical, to teach and unravel these knots. The practice is to remain present in the now. Realization comes from living this process to uncover the already perfect self.
"Life is not to give you joy. Life is to teach you."
"The creation in you, it means it is already in you; it is already in you."

Body liberation and moksha
8:50 - 9:52 (62 min)
The pursuit of spiritual knowledge is often limited by fixed capacities and distractions. Conventional study is like a horse confined to a bow. People are like the shopper who intends to buy only bread but is drawn to everything else, illustrating our lack of focus. Many seek extraordinary powers like levitation through mere technique, but such pursuits are illusory. The physical body is a necessary vehicle, like a car, but it is not the destination. The concept of 'mind' is particularly misleading; it is unstable and cannot be controlled, though some call it high. True yoga is not about body and mind, which are transient and confusing. It is about using the body to attain liberation, mokṣa, and Brahman. One must progress through the five sheaths—annamaya, prāṇamaya, manomaya, vijñānamaya, and ānandamaya—to reach yogic science. Without a healthy body, sustained by proper nourishment, nothing can be achieved, but one must not be enslaved by it.
"Physical techniques are very important, but they will not take us further."
"Body and mind have no sense in it. And if you are saying body and mind, then both are wrong."

Yoga is beyond everything
11:10 - 12:06 (56 min)
Yoga originates from Śiva and is beyond mere exercise. Śiva manifested the postures by observing all creation, including animals and elements. He provided 84 key postures for health and happiness. The entire cosmos, including the sun and moon, is an expression of Śiva's energy. Śiva is not a physical form but the universal principle, with thousands of names venerating this truth. The ages cycle, and we are in Kali Yuga. Human life is a precious opportunity to cultivate peace and harmony through right living. A story illustrates devotion: Viṣṇu sought blessings by offering a thousand flowers to Śiva in prolonged worship. True yoga is the union with the divine principle within. Practice meditation, maintain good health, and extend goodwill to all beings. Live with spiritual discipline, for life is fleeting. Do not reduce yoga to simple exercise; it is the path to realizing Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva within.
"Yoga comes from Śiva. Śiva brought sitting in the postures, and he was feeling very great."

Practice like Holy Guruji
14:30 - 15:52 (82 min)
The essential need is for the living grace and vision of the teacher. All spiritual practice is dry without the guru's darśan and mercy. The ultimate goal is to internalize this vision so it is present whenever the eyes are closed. True darśan is the feeling awakened in the heart in a sacred place, not merely a physical sight. This gathering after a difficult period is a profound blessing. The dedicated work of many has prepared this new space, which is an invitation for all to come, work, and build together in nature and peace. The current age presents challenges, but within them lies opportunity for those who follow the guru's word with faith and selfless effort.
"All of our sādhanā, everything that we do in our lives, is dry without Gurudev’s darśan and Gurudev’s mercy."

Spiritual knowledge leads to God
16:50 - 17:36 (46 min)
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from Karlovac, Croatia. Spiritual knowledge is different from worldly knowledge. Spiritual knowledge is learned from the Guru. If you live according to God's rules, at the end of your life you will reach the supreme, whatever it is called. It is similar to the way a drop of water reaches the endless ocean. All living beings are pure souls, but our own actions determine our path. Many people think they are living a good human life because they don't have the knowledge. We must be pure in body and soul. That is the first step, then comes Gurudeva. Don't talk negative things.
Instructions for practicing and teaching yoga
17:40 - 18:22 (42 min)
Integrate spiritual practice into daily life. Maintain your practice at home in the early morning or evening. While walking or driving, refrain from excessive talk to focus on your sādhanā. Carry the peaceful atmosphere of the ashram within you. Be harmonious with your family, sharing your practice gently. Engage with the earth by touching soil in a garden to connect with pure energy. Practice āsanas and prāṇāyāma, such as Kapālabhāti, for health, moving beyond mere reliance on medicine. Yoga is a holistic practice for body and life. Proper learning requires attending classes with a teacher, progressing step by step through different levels. The highest gathering is Satsaṅg, where all come together in truth.
"Yoga is not a religion, it is not spirituality, but health, our body’s health."
"Satsaṅg means sat, sat means the truth, saṅg, saṅg means together."

Around the world - Yoga exercises specifically for women
19:00 - 19:36 (36 min)
This is a gentle yoga sequence for menstrual well-being. We begin with relaxation and full yogic breath to harmonize body and mind. Specific postures target the pelvic area and lower back. The first exercise involves bringing one knee to the chest, then extending the leg, performed slowly and consciously. This is followed by Marjari, the cat pose, to create a supple back. We then practice hip-opening postures like the half and full butterfly. A key squatting pose is emphasized for menstrual issues, grounding, and leg strength. We proceed to Setu Āsana, the bridge, to strengthen the lower body. A final side-lying balance pose benefits the lower abdomen. Conclude by feeling the effects of the practice.
"This exercise is especially good for menstrual problems, and also beneficial for the lower back, constipation, and hips."
"This pose is especially good for women... for irregular menstruation, or for heavy bleeding between periods."
Around the world - Practice in Ukraine
19:40 - 20:30 (50 min)
Begin the practice of āsanas, prāṇāyāma, and meditation. Close the eyes and attune to the practice. Scan and relax the entire body. Observe the complete yogic breath. The first āsana is Ānanda Āsana, the posture of relaxation. Lie down comfortably and consciously relax each part of the body. Physical relaxation leads to spiritual relaxation. This posture must be performed at the beginning and end of every session. Next, train in abdominal breathing by placing a hand on the abdomen and observing its movement. Conscious abdominal breathing leads to relaxation and improves circulation. Practice stretching the body by extending the limbs in rhythm with the breath. This releases accumulated tension. Perform head turns and twists while lying down to increase spinal mobility and harmonize the breath. Always observe the effect of each exercise. Move through shoulder exercises while standing to relax and strengthen the joints. Shift body weight from leg to leg to strengthen muscles and improve balance. Conclude by returning to Ānanda Āsana. Scan the body and observe the deepening relaxation. Gradually conclude the practice by moving the fingers and toes. Rise carefully, always moving from lying down through a transitional seated position.

Trees also have karma
20:35 - 20:57 (22 min)
The ancient forest reveals profound truths through its life and stories. To understand it is to know everything. Sages walk there, and a solitary yogī lives among immense, ancient trees. We have such a forest in our ashram. There, a massive banyan tree, over 5,000 years old, stands. This reminds me of a story from another ashram. A young guru there spoke to a great tree, prophesying its death within two years. The tree, confident after millennia, asked who could kill it. The guru said its friends would, and that its enemy was in fire and iron. Later, a man with an axe came and felled the tree. The fallen tree later advised that one should not have enemies, and if someone is your enemy, be kind to them. There is a lesson in small things, like a needle that can kill. We should always be careful, happy, and kind. Then, their karma will affect them, not you. The trees are our best friends. We humans need the forests and should love them.
"Ṛṣi, you take care of yourself. I am okay."
"Therefore, we should always be careful and always be very happy and kind to others."

Vegetarian cooking lesson 3
21:00 - 21:27 (27 min)
A nourishing Falahārī meal is prepared, emphasizing ingredients and spices for health.
The Falahārī diet uses only fruits and vegetables, excluding grains, potatoes, and bananas. Sweet potato is permitted and supports cardiovascular health. Turmeric is essential for liver function and detoxification. Unrefined oils like olive oil are used, as some vitamins require fat for absorption. Spices such as black mustard seeds cleanse channels and stimulate digestion. Coconut milk cools the body. Pumpkin seed bread uses psyllium as a binding agent. Yellow mung dal is the only lentil allowed, as it builds bodily tissues. Tapioca kheer is made with milk and cardamom. A soup of carrots and beetroot creates strength and iron in the blood, finished with a tarka of garlic, ajwain, and cumin. A salad is dressed with olive oil, lemon, and salt.
"Turmeric is a very important spice for us because it greatly influences liver function, improves digestion, and helps clean the body from toxins."
"In the Falahārī diet, you eat only vegetables and fruits; you do not eat wheat, potatoes, or bananas. But you can use sweet potatoes because it comes from another family of vegetables."

A Welcome and Reflections on Divine Unity
23:30 - 0:12 (42 min)
The divine manifests as unity within diversity, and our spiritual institutions are beacons in the world. We established this new ashram in Croatia swiftly after a wish was expressed, demonstrating how life unfolds when we release doubt. This place, named for a great master, serves as a sanctuary. All authentic spiritual centers worldwide are vital, like many children bringing joy and development to a single village. There is one God with two aspects: the manifest principle appearing through the ages and the formless absolute. This unity is reflected in the duality of Śiva and Śakti within us. All forms arise from a pure source, like water evaporating from the ocean and returning as rain. Heredity shows how qualities are transmitted, yet we all share a common human essence. We encounter many teachers in life, from parents to instructors, all guiding us. True spiritual masters awaken knowledge from within. All paths ultimately lead to the same divine unity, just as a fallen leaf eventually returns to nourish its roots through nature's cycle.
