Merging into light

Truly, there is no inherently bad day; only unfortunate events occur. All creation holds beauty that requires care, from plants to furniture. When something cherished is lost, sadness arises. Objects touched by a holy one carry value because of that personality, not money. Negative thinking alone is bad; before judging, negativity already dwells within. The wise do not grieve because the soul is immortal. Without knowledge of the soul, attachment to form causes sorrow. A saint’s passing is a merging into Brahman, not cause for sadness. The sixteenth day is marked by Sorsi Bandhara, a feast with gifts and pusp anjali. This offering of flowers connects to the sixteen siddhis of attainment. The moon’s sixteen kalas influence plant growth and immunity. Planting during the waxing moon yields stronger, pest-resistant plants. Devpuriji possessed such light that he could appear in multiple places simultaneously. He once appeared to Holi Guruji, saying he was going to Europe to help. Immortal saints are present wherever remembered; they never leave. Our inner voice and the quality of our thoughts shape our reality. We have tens of thousands of thoughts daily, each an internal conversation. In crucial moments, this voice arises with doubt. The key is not what it says, but how it speaks—whether softly or harshly. This tone affects our mood and state more than the content. We can practice changing this inner dialogue to be loving, as in maitrī meditation. Speaking kindly to ourselves allows us to speak kindly to others. Laughter declines from childhood to adulthood, indicating a loss of inner joy. Cultivating a gentle inner voice can reverse this trend. When facing decisions, practice prāṇāyāma to calm the nervous system and cultivate a "big trust" that life happens for you, regardless of the outcome. The self is bliss, Ānandoham. Negative thoughts poison the body and mind; divine thoughts purify and create protection. The power of thoughts comes not from the brain, heart, or soul, but from the universal Ātmā. The soul is individual, while the Ātmā is the formless, universal reality that never changes. Within you is the fountain of joy and the ocean of bliss. Kill this little “I” and lead a divine life. Material happiness is temporary, like bubbles on water. Eternal bliss is the divine, the origin to which all beings seek to return. Even Śiva and Pārvatī could not please everyone, showing outer criticism is inevitable. Therefore, relax, do not control thoughts, and find inner peace. The parrot’s tale reveals wisdom must be left behind and alertness protects consciousness. Contentment makes one truly rich, not outer wealth. Take time daily to meditate, repeat a mantra, or simply experience inner happiness. Negative karma and destiny bind, but self-realization liberates. A journey within begins by relaxing the body and observing the breath. Contemplate the five elements within. Space exists inside and outside; feel at ease within it. Air, or prāṇa, purifies the body and can remove illness with concentrated will. Inner fire, or agni, balances temperature and burns away toxins. The water element flows through tissues, supplying minerals and expelling impurities. The earth element, the bones, provides a frame. These elements within can become polluted by the external world. Purify them through sāttvic food, yoga postures, prāṇāyāma, and meditation. Body awareness is life awareness; health depends on clean, balanced elements. Bring awareness to any area of pain or illness. Direct breath and the elements—air, fire, space, water—to that area to balance and heal. This self-inquiry meditation can be done seated. Many bodily problems stem from personal mistakes like wrong diet or substances, but they can be repaired through yoga, meditation, and a balanced diet. Make a resolve to heal the body and mind through these elements and practices. Love and protect nature. Decide for a healthy, strong body and a long life. "Body awareness means life awareness.
