Celebration of Gurupurnima from Jadan Ashram, 25th of July 2010

The Guru is the essential guide for crossing the ocean of worldly existence. Attending the Guru's satsang and receiving their darśana is paramount, for the Guru's feet are a sacred pilgrimage. Without the Guru's grace, spiritual realization is impossible, just as creation cannot occur without the divine trinity. All worldly attainments—fame, wealth, knowledge, or family—are ultimately worthless without devotion and service at the Guru's feet. The scriptures sing the praises of such devotion. One must seize the rare human opportunity to be in the Guru's presence with full awareness, for time is passing. The mind must become firmly attached to the Guru's lotus feet to receive the blessing that leads to liberation.

"The one who helps us cross the ocean of worldly existence is called a tīrtha."

"You may possess all knowledge... but without the Guru, without the Guru’s blessings... it is worth nothing."

Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Part 1: The Essence of the Guru Sanskrit and Hindi terms include: cakra, prāṇa, kuṇḍalinī, ātma, Brahman, saṃskāra, namaste, praṇam... The saints of the Akhārā are true saints; they are saints from afar. On one hand, they will sing bhajans. If there is any mistake in this, please forgive me, because while upholding the tradition and dignity of the Akhārā, we must navigate these circumstances. My request to the few souls present is that those who belong to our Akhārā... Welcome to the teaching of "Jo Hai Jo Jaise." Now, let us bow down at their feet. This will be a creation, and therefore, my heartfelt desire is that this creation grows with the blessings of Gurudev. Oh Lakṣmaṇajī, all the yogīs and saints who are here, stay here. Now, let me take some rest. Let us proceed with the contemplation. I am telling you, Draupadī’s chīr (garment) was being torn—was there any man there who could have stood up and said, “Be careful, this will not happen”? Everyone just sat quietly, nodding their heads. There was no strength like that of Pitāmaha Bhīṣma, nor was there anyone like Droṇācārya, who was resolute; no one dared to speak up. The disrobing of Rīyā and Droṇapadī was about to happen; it was the will of Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa, it was Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa’s promise. When all the faults of Śiśupāla were accounted for, Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa wielded the Sudarśana cakra, and his finger was injured, causing a little blood to flow. It was Droṇapadī who tore her sari, and that strip... What dignity was preserved? Everyone became disheartened, became crippled, became powerless. Today, this is the condition of all Hindustanis—sitting crippled, leaving behind the power to act. The maternal uncle says, "People are content," the father says, "People are content." Is there anyone within you who even has the strength to sigh? Do not sin because there is no strength left; hence, the revolution of dharma... One must definitely attend satsang and the darśana of saints, especially in such festivals like Guru Pūrṇimā. The reason is that one who is devoted at the feet of the Guru is praised in the Vedas and Purāṇas. The Vedas and Purāṇas sing of the Guru’s feet as sacred pilgrimage sites. Wherever the Satguru Dev resides, wherever the feet of the saints are, there... The one who helps us cross the ocean of worldly existence is called a tīrtha. Tīrtha means the one who ferries us across the ocean of birth and death. And wherever the dust of the feet of saints has fallen, there is a tīrtha. Once, an elephant was bathing in the ocean, pouring water over its body with its trunk, and after that, it went to bathe... He took a bath, then that elephant was coming out of the ocean, taking soil with its trunk and putting it on its head... If this were an ordinary man, one might think he is a simpleton, but I remain a Gauḍa, brother. M.A.B.A. What would people say if I did this or that? Some would find fault, others would say nonsense. The wise ones would ask why you are looking at the soil. Then the educated from the university would say, "Oh dear, you are foolish." They would call you a fool no matter what you do. Farmers will remain farmers, yes, brother, just think—there is a moth, a corn moth, to be driven away so that it does not spoil the crop. You say, "What is the use of reading the scripture, Dādā Jī?" But if you yourself sit for even one minute and read the scripture, a farmer will say, "No, brother, this is not so." Why does it come that you run after it? No, don’t do that. Ask yourself first, what should be done? Let both of you know. O children, O children... You will continue to offer your salutations and gradually, even while going to eat, you will eat with awareness. Sādhi Gyārā, I have my meal now, so after offering your salutations and going to your rooms, you should come for your meal. It is half past twelve for you all. I have already taken my meal, after which all devotees will take their meals. In the line, first the Godhin will sit, then the saints will sit, and after the saints, the saints of Gresh, and after them, all your lines, if you... If you go to the room right now, touch your hands and face, and wish to come for our meal, quickly, the lamp of death is about to be lit. This is certain; all living beings are destined to come. After our brahmachārīs from the stool, Hudopor’s Pīm Iyaji came to perform the pūjā so that they could receive Pīm together. Sanskrit and Hindi terms include: cakra, prāṇa, kuṇḍalinī, ātma, Brahman, saṃskāra, dharma, prāṇa, śakti, kīrtan, om, namaste, prāṇa, śakti, kīrtan, om, namaste,... prāṇa, āda kapīr meṃ āda kapīr meṃ, āda kapīr meṃ,... The greatness of the Guru is indeed profound. Now, you may say that Ved Vyāsa was the son of Parāśara Ṛṣi and Satyavatī was his mother. From this Ved Vyāsa, the entire core of Viṣṇu Pitāmaha descended upon one kingdom, where he forcefully abducted three princesses—Ambā, Ambē, and Ambāl. Two of these princesses were married off, one to Chitrāṅgat and the other to Vichitsabīr. A certain princess, who was staying there, said to Bhīṣma Pitāmaha, "I will marry you." Bhīṣma Pitāmaha replied, "I have already taken a vow that in this life I will remain a brahmacārī; I will not marry or have any relationship with any maiden." Then that princess gave Bhīṣma Pitāmaha a drink and said, "In the next birth, I will incarnate as Śikhaṇḍī and become the cause of your death." That same princess was reborn as Śikhaṇḍī in the next life, and the same one became the cause of the death of Viṣham Pitāwa. As for Chitrāṅgat, the son of Satvatī, he once went hunting somewhere, and there he fought a battle in which he was killed. And Vichit Vīr was somewhat inclined towards hunting, so he was given a shairōg, that is, a TV... It happened, and they also attained death. After this, there was no one left to continue the lineage of Satyavatī and Bhīṣma Pitāmaha. The lineage was coming to an end here. For this reason, under the inspiration of Ved Vyāsajī, Dhṛtarāṣṭra became a king, Pāṇḍu became another, and the servant’s son was Vidura. Vidura was the incarnation of Dharmarāja. Now you may ask why Dharmarāj took incarnation. There is a narration in the Śrīmad Bhāgavat: once, there was a sage named Māṇḍava Ṛṣi who was performing tapasyā in the forest at dawn. At the same time, a theft occurred in a king’s palace, and the thief, after stealing all the goods, placed everything in Māṇḍava Ṛṣi’s hut and left. When soldiers were coming from behind, they asked Māṇḍava Ṛṣi, "All the goods are in the hut, but the thieves who stole them, where are they?" Māṇḍava Ṛṣi said, "I do not know anything." The soldiers paid no attention to this and caught Māṇḍava Ṛṣi, presenting him before the king’s court. The king also paid no heed and ordered that the great ascetic Māṇḍava Ṛṣi be crucified. He was crucified, but even after three days on the cross, Māṇḍava Ṛṣi’s prāṇa did not depart. As he continued chanting the name of Rāma, then... After he was released, he went to Māṇḍava Ṛṣi and then directly to Dharmarāj and asked, "O King, why was I punished? Why was I unjustly put on the cross?" Dharmarāj replied, "In your childhood, you gave poison to the small worms and insects; this karma that you performed was minor..." When we were children, the leaf gave us such a severe punishment. Māṇḍava Ṛṣi said to Yamarāja that you will have to take human form in the Kali Yuga. And it was that very Yamarāja who incarnated as Vidura. He had very profound knowledge, but because of Duryodhana... When none of their words were accepted, they went on a pilgrimage to Tīrtha. After their departure, the great battle of Mahābhārata took place, where Bhagavān Viṣṇu himself took incarnation as Balarāma and Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and as Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, Bharata, and Śatrughna. Then they also became Gurus. It is said that without a Guru, there is no realization; just as without Brahmā, Śiva, and Viṣṇu, creation cannot happen. Crossing this ocean of emotions without a guru is very difficult; crossing the ocean of emotions is indeed very difficult. Even Bhagavān Rāma remembered the guru, and for the bow that great warriors could not move, Baba Goswāmī Jī has written about it. The guru is the one to whom all bows and salutations are made; the mind itself surrenders. He lifts the bowstring with great effort, pulls it, and sets the arrow in motion. No one else can hold it steady; only when the guru’s grace descends does everything come together. Then, what else is there to say? After Bhagavān Rāma’s victory over Laṅkā, when He returned to Ayodhyā, He was accompanied by all His... He told the monkeys, the commander, and everyone that if the grace of Guru Vasiṣṭha Kulī Pūj is bestowed upon us, then all our difficulties will be resolved. Without the grace of the Guru, everything is very difficult. It is said that... One who is envious of the guru and opposes the guru, who, after becoming a human guru, harbors hatred towards the guru or whose nature is different from that of the guru, there is no one in this world who can help such a person cross the ocean of existence. That is all; I will conclude this discourse here. At an appropriate time in the future, I will share more with you. Say, "Jai Śrī Satnārāyaṇa Bhagavān," Bal Kṛṣṇa. Victory to Bhagavān, chant victory to Dīpeśvara Mahārājī. Mother, give me shelter, O Lord of the universe, give me shelter, O Lord of the universe,... A great soul has just subtly explained to you the knowledge of the Mahābhārata, saying that in satsang, whatever is spoken must be accepted; if told to the dead to rise, they must rise, and if told to go, they must go. Those who sleep are like serpents. Now I have decided, with effort, that the importance of Guru Pūrṇimā is very high, as is the power of one’s own speech. Beyond that is the guru tattva, which is the primal origin of origins; more about this will be shared with you. At this moment, this television program is being broadcast in 185 countries. People are observing whether the people of Bhārat are dark-skinned or whether we are strong, but now that too is in your hands. The boat is in your hands. The question of Śrī Guru Pūrṇimā from Oṃ Śrī Alagpurījī Siddhapīṭha Paramparā is for all divine spiritual seekers, the Gurudevs of the Gurudevs of the Gurudevs... of whom Jī Dot TV Different Languages Bhajan Singing and all different lectures, you are welcome to listen now. For half an hour, I would like to hand over to our new Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. After becoming Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara is... Under the auspices of Oṃ Śrī Alakh Purī Jī, Siddha Pīṭha, New Delhi, as well as Jadan Ashram, please all be seated and listen attentively to receive the blessings of Svāmījī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Jasraj Purī Jī. Thank you, the flower is yours, Svāmījī Jasraj Purī Jī. For all the international audience, therefore he will speak in English. Fame is like a banner, wealth like Mount Meru, and the mind’s attachment is to the Guru’s color; Tatākim Tatākim... Time, wealth, children, wife, and all possessions—house, servants, everything—if born of such attachments, the mind remains restless. O Guru, in the lotus of Your feet, what is this? What is this? The six limbs of Veda, the scriptures, knowledge, poetry, and other prose, all become well understood and absorbed in the mind; the mind then becomes firmly attached to the feet of the Guru—tatākyam tatākyam... Śammā maṇḍale bhūpa pūpāla vṛṇde sadā sevitaṃ yasya sarvaṃbha paddhaṃ manas-cena laganaṃ gururaṅgre paddhaṃ meṃ tatākiṃ tatākiṃ... Yeśo meṃ gaṭam yeśo meṃ gaṭam sarvapād praśādād jatakkim tatakkim tatakkim... Gururāṣṭakam, O Miti, composed by Śrī Śrī Śaṅkarācārya, the Gururāṣṭakam is completed. I offer countless salutations at the feet of Śrī Satguru Śrī Gurudev. I do my praṇāmas to Gurudev and bow at his lotus feet. Śrī Śaṅkarācārya and others, Śaṅkarācārya was composing a verse. In that, he was speaking about the Guru, and throughout the ślokas, he is saying that you may have everything—you may have the most beautiful body, you may have the most wonderful life, you may have wealth that comes in mountains, like mountains of it. That you cannot count, and you may be famous everywhere, but if you haven’t had the chance to be with your guru, and if you haven’t understood the guru and his feet, and are not doing guru sevā, then what is it? It is nothing. You may have a perfect family, you may have perfect children, you may be completely happy in your house, in your community, and where you live, completely satisfied. But if you haven’t understood the Guru, and had the chance to come to his feet and do his sevā, then what is it? It means nothing. You may possess all knowledge, you may know all the Vedas, you may recite the Śāstras as if they are flowing directly from your own mouth. And you may be the perfect poet, you may be the perfect storyteller, but without the Guru, without the Guru’s blessings, without understanding the meaning of his feet and doing his sevā, then what is it? It is worth nothing. And you may be famous all around the world, everyone may perform pūjā at your feet, all the kings, all the great saints, everyone. You have the guru, the guru’s intellect, and the guru’s intellects... and the guru—what is it? It is nothing. And lastly, Śrī Śaṅkarācārya Jī says that by understanding the Guru, anyone, whether they be a householder, a Svāmī, a King, or a Brahmachārī, with the blessing of the Guru and by understanding the Guru Vākya and by doing his sevā, anyone can benefit from it and attain Brahma Jñāna. It comes from the blessing of the Guru. That comes from Śaṅkarācārya Jī, who, when we say his name, we first say Ādi Guru, as in the original Guru, and still he says nothing is worth anything without his Guru. We are fortunate to be here today, either physically or through the webcast, to have Gurujī’s darśan, to sit in his presence, listen to his satsang, and receive his blessings. It is an opportunity whose recurrence we do not know when we shall have again. And we must seize every opportunity. Every moment. Holy Guruji was always saying, "Bāī tum jāgo re terāv sar bīt jāyā"—Hey brother, wake up. Your time is passing. You never know when we will get this opportunity again. Because of certain circumstances, due to our home situation, or because of poor health or something else. Who knows when next we will have the opportunity to be with Svāmījī. Part 2: The Precious Opportunity of the Guru's Presence We always wish to be with Svāmījī, to be present here. Yet, since this is not always possible, we must embrace every moment and every opportunity. While we are here, we should be fully here—undistracted by thoughts of business or home. We are here for this day, with Gurudev. Be present with Tandaman, with everything: with body, mind, heart, and soul. Strive to unite with Him so that we may receive His blessing. Just yesterday in Jādan, it finally began to rain. Before the rains, we always do one thing here: we plough every field in the āśrama. Why? First, so the earth can breathe. Second, it opens the earth, allowing water to enter within. In a bhajan written by Mahāprabhujī, it is said: guru guru... It speaks of the ānāhārtha cakra and these matters... Command, command... If you wish to use yourself, if you wish to speak to yourself... If we speak of Svāmījī, even in wisdom they are the best. We have spent countless lives reincarnating, and finally we have received this opportunity to be born human. Not only that, we are blessed to be with Svāmījī, a self-realized master and one of the great masters of our time. After all this, if you still think of wasting time, you must be somewhat mad. Consider how long it has taken us to come here—not just in this life, but through all the lives that have passed. You should know about these 50, 80, or 100 times concerning us. This should be known to us, known to Gurujī. If you feel you should be here, then be here. In every moment of bhajan, every moment of sādhanā, every moment walking here, be present. Feel the vibration, feel Gurudev’s blessing, let it penetrate your heart. Then take it with you, care for it, and let it grow. The Guru, as explained by Gurujī, is the Guru... Many congratulations to all of you. I offer my praṇāms at Gurujī’s lotus feet and pray that He always blesses me, blesses us all, and always gives us the opportunity to be here on Gurupūrṇimā to receive His prasād—His Amṛtavāṇī, His wisdom, knowledge, experience, and all that energy and wisdom which comes from such a long lineage of great masters: Holī Gurujī, Mahāprabhujī, Śrī Devpurījī, Alakhpurījī. It is rare to have such a long and living line, where great saints come one after another, continuously building upon that present energy. Victory to Satguru Dev! Bow only to the one who has already bowed. If you bow, you will receive the ariyoga prasād. Go, take the prasād and then leave—no one will leave empty-handed. Deep Nārāyaṇa, Bhagavān, Divēśvara Mahādeva, the emperor of Hindu Dharma, Satguru Svāmījī Mādhvānana, Bhagavān of truth and eternal dharma—no devotee will depart without receiving prasād. If you wish to practice, then practice like a Kāsīvā. Eat simply, live in renunciation, and keep your search straightforward. Just keep giving openly; it feels warm now. Give a little more; the disease is leaving. For you, everything is ready. Go, son, just keep chanting Hari Om. That Kṛṣṇa is the one of Nanaji’s... Now go, no one else will come. Do the voting, just be ready. Why come in between? Go, also give the mālā to Mahārājī. The lamp is for Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān; those who come from His surata are ready. You may go, otherwise the vāpa will be taken away. All dear ones have come from far away, the stage... Respected Virājman, all Śāṅkamahān, Paramasarde, Pūjyapāt, Māmanleśvar, Śrī Kṛṣṇanan Jī, Māmanleśvar, Jasrājpuri Jī, all the workers of the āśrama—I received two messages on Guru Pūrṇimā while abroad, and I take Jyotiṣa notes with me to remember the tithi and date. So, Pūrṇimā is tomorrow, as mentioned, Vyāsa Pūjā, but Guru Pūrṇimā is also tomorrow. According to my instructions, the invitation for this same Guru Pūrṇimā was written and sent from this āśrama for tomorrow. But it is very pleasing that you have come today, a day earlier. It is good that you came a day earlier rather than a day later. When they come, the bliss is somewhat diminished, so there is a delay in certain arrangements. For this, please remain calm, especially regarding the arrangement we call vikṣā or parśādi, which involves the preparation of food. All the sevaks at our āśrama, who always prepare the food, have taken on the responsibility, and the burden of preparing food for hundreds has fallen upon their shoulders. Therefore, there may be a slight delay, but my request to all is: please do not leave without having your meal. If you observe the fast of Pūrṇimā, then from when to when, take some fruit, sweets, or something along with you from here—do not go empty-handed. The court of the Guru, that is, the Satguru, is equal for all. Among the foremost disciples of our revered Bhagavān Dīp Nāren Mahāprabhujī, respected Swāmī Śivānana Jī Nāgo from Jillab Chhoṭī Khāṭu, Śivānana Jī Maharāj has composed a beautiful bhajan. It is sung at the feet of the Guru, and it is recited in the Vedas and Purāṇas. They sing in the Veda Purāṇa, they sing in the Veda Purāṇa—what do they sing in the Veda Purāṇa? They cling tightly to the feet of the Guru, they sing in the Veda Purāṇa, cling tightly to the feet of the Guru, whether you wish to cling tightly to the feet of the Guru. One who is content is called śānta; a saint is one who rejoices, and so on... Gurujī said that Panta Pant’s drawing, Panta Pantare, has a unique value. When Panti arrived, so many friends were seated here. Among them, raise your hand if there is any Muslim here. It is a matter of regret that if there were a Muslim, he would surely have raised his hand. Come on. It is indeed a matter of regret that even they will come. Why am I asking this? I need an answer. Tell me, if you are Muslims, have you ever looked at the Qur’ān in your life? If you are Muslims, if you truly were Muslims, you would immediately say that you remember every verse of the Qur’ān. Do you understand? Wow. You remember the entire Bible’s stories, whereas the Bible itself is based on our ancient eighteen Purāṇas, which were written by Bhagavān Ved Vyāsa, and the Upaniṣads and other scriptures. Now, we ask the third question, which is? So, to put it simply, this is what you have to do yourself. Now, is there anyone among you who is Hindu? Now speak up, those who are Hindus, come on, speak loudly, very good. Now you have seen the Vedas—has anyone seen them? Two. Yes, Deep Narain Bharva has seen them, yes, thank you. So, if you have not seen the Vedas, then read what is compiled. Bāti Sāhab, yes, Mister, you are... Presenting the eternal dharma for everything, so listen carefully, okay. There is a Marwari and a black bee has settled somewhere. Look at the moonlight, see who that is. I feel this is a black bee. They have neither seen the Vedas with their own eyes nor read the Vedas, and they don’t even know who wrote the Vedas. So be it, be it. Wow brother, wow! We have spread it widely, haven’t we? Alright then, so whether there is a Veda in the village or not, it doesn’t matter. There may or may not be a Veda in the village. You see, there is one Veda, one Veda in the house, or sometimes not even one Veda, sometimes two or even four Vedas in the village. In my house, there is a complete Veda. So, what about the Rāmāyaṇa? At least two Rāmāyaṇas exist, and there are even more Rāmāyaṇas. There are many types of Gītās, but there is the Śrīmad Bhāgavat Gītā, the Aṣṭavakra Gītā. Brother, if we do not even know the names of our scriptures, if we have not even contemplated our scriptures, then how can we discriminate in reading? If I am immersed, then I will even recite namāz there, and if there is a church, then I will worship there as well. I will do it, and if it is in Kabīr Pañch, then there too I will be a unified whole everywhere, because Bāvajī always says ’aṁ’. Therefore, I am not speaking of that religion which causes one religion to fight another, but I can say this: there is no such scripture anywhere in the world. All the religious, noble scriptures and creations by the devoted enthusiasts of Hindustān—only those sages who existed in the Satya Yuga, Tretā Yuga, or Dvāpara Yuga, and even now such great souls reside within Hindustān—have a single saying that can encompass all the scriptures of the entire world in one word. You made iron with the ore, and also made iron with it, yet the iron did not turn; why didn’t it turn? Oh, that iron cannot become molten, it cannot be purified. So, the only possibility is that either the ore is not genuine, or there was a lack of trust, or there was some distance. So here, my suggestion is—because I don’t want to force... I am not giving you a condition, I am suggesting for improving the children: the first happiness is a healthy body, the second happiness is wealth in the home, the third happiness is a wife who obeys her husband, and the smallest happiness is children who obey. My revered Bhagavān Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī and the globally respected Satgurudev, the emperor of Hindudharma, Pujyapāda, Brahmalēin Svāmī Mādhvādāna Purījī Bhagavān’s beloved devotees, my guru brothers, guru sisters, all of you, respected teachers, students, residents of the āśrama, devotees who have come from far and wide—on this auspicious day of Iṣṭpāvan Punya, Śrī Guru Purnimā, I extend to all of you the blessings and welcome of Om Śrī Alagpurī Jī Siddha Pīṭha. This time, since there are two Guru Purnimās, there has been a slight change in the program: Jyotiṣa indicates Guru Purnimā on the 12th and Vyāsa Pūjā on the 25th. Now, as Jyotiṣa says, it is Māraj Pūrṇimā, which belongs to everyone. That is why an invitation was sent to everyone for the 13th, but upon arriving in India, it was found that today itself is Gurupūrṇimā. Since today is Gurupūrṇimā, our revered Gurudev always said that Diwālī is for the saints, and the 13th is a festival for the saints; for them, every day is Diwālī. Every day is a golden day for you, so it is good that today you have participated in the Īśvarī Guru Pūjā and the Śaḍguru’s ārtī. I pray to Bhagavān Dīp Nāyan Mahāprabhujī to bless you. In this fair, Guru Pūjā has also been performed. You will be pleased to know that among the great devotees who serve a Gurudev according to the distinct Puri Jī Siddha Pīṭha tradition, Swāmī Jasrāj Puri Jī, who serves with reverence, has also been honored with the title of Mahāmanaleśvara from Mānīravan Yākhāḍā. Swāmī Kṛṣṇa Nanjī Mahārāj of Mahamandaleshwar Juna Akhara attends almost all programs. He also has hundreds of disciples and runs an āśrama, but leaving all that aside, his love, his devotion, and his special regard for this gurukula are unique. When the time comes, Svāmījī also arrives, and at this sacred moment, these great souls will be honored by offering chaddar and sṛphala. After this, any renunciant sannyāsī, any renunciant who is not a householder, should write down their name, and then their chaddar will also be offered. Which yoga path is it? Whatever it is, go to the office and register your name before our Swāmījī Phūlpurī Jī Mārāj, so that today, being the day of the saints, your honor will also be elevated and you will be respected today. Write Bhagavān. It is not about being a rāms, being indifferent, or being a sanyāsī; there is no distinction or division. Poojī Gurudev used to say that the followers of Panta Panta are drawn to Panta Panta’s mothers. There is one abode where the followers of Panta Panta reside, and another group says, "We are Kabīr followers, we are not rāms." This distinction is a kind of quarrel among all saints. The very first place for all saints who have no place to stay is the āśrama, and after that, all our gr̥hasthas also have their āśrama, their spiritual home where they can reside, serve, and pursue their spiritual practice. So, whoever comes here—saints, those clad in saffron robes—if they belong to some akhāṛā, and if they are pyāgī, then you go to the office and get your name registered there. After that, you must follow their rules. Still, you are also financially welcomed; you will also be honored, today is your day on Gurupūrṇimā, you will also receive gifts. Brahmins are given dakṣiṇā, and those who are poor... They are anonymous; they are given as dāna. Dāna, dakṣiṇā, and bheṭ have different significances. Bheṭ is given to saints, dakṣiṇā to brāhmaṇas, and dāna to the poor. Long live Gurudev’s profound dharma! What does it cost you to offer yourself? What have I lost? It seems my attachment to Jasarājīn has come to an end. From there, right from the beginning, the devotees, Manlī, Lāphūr, Pulījī, all those saints, their entire lineage—go and ask, ask who initiated which practice. Without initiation, that work will not succeed. Alright, you understand. Go along together because it has been told what the village holds. Premanan Jī, Svāmījī Yogesh Purī Jī, Mantrapurī Jī, come here, Mench Jī Maharāj, Śrī Mahan Jī, where is Premanan Jī? Compassion, Sāvitrī, go over there, Preman, Yoge Jī come here, come near here, near Krishnan Jī, be beside him now, O beloved. You did not get in line, no, no, you did not get in line. You were a great guru brother, in the field, today you must be scolded. Go to the front of the line, go to the line, go, son. Don’t put it, it is also desi; don’t make it, it is also desi. After five, it is desi, and along with that, Śānti Jī, among all these sannyāsīs, you should sit in a line. You and the others, first ten people stand, the second sit in line, so that the air also comes. Sit down, we have to take the plate for the fire ceremony. Go, first place the fire, place it first. He came in the middle of the delay, she is coming, they are bringing them here, no, come, come, you come, come quickly, but now go, go, come, it’s done, son.
