Swamijis morning Satsang from Umag, Croatia, 27th of September

The ocean is the holiest water, receiving all rivers carrying the sacred dust from saints' feet across all time. Life is the ocean, and all will merge into it. This water, Sāgara, holds divine powers and consciousness. Offer your wishes or prayers for forgiveness to the listening ocean. Practice conscious breathing here on the beach. Inhale slowly through the nose and exhale through the mouth in Ujjāyī prāṇāyāma. Feel the fresh air full of prāṇa. Be aware of your being here, one with nature. This combined meditation and prāṇāyāma is anti-stress, stabilizing for health. Observe the breath flowing to the Maṇipūra Chakra and out. Chant OM. After meditation, a strong wind and rain come, but there is shelter.

"The ocean is one of the holiest waters."

"Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth. Feel yourself being one with nature."

Filming location: Umag, Croatia

Open your eyes, hold your hands, and we greet the ocean. All the rivers of the world have their destination in the ocean. Every river carries different kinds of water from different parts of the earth. Every corner, every spot of the earth, in the past, present, and future, has had holy saints walking upon it. The rivers carry the holy dust from the feet of these saints, and all of it enters the ocean. Therefore, the ocean is one of the holiest waters. The ocean is our life, and life is the ocean. One day we will merge into this ocean. Not only what we call the earth, but even the earth will again merge into this water. The ocean is called Sāgara, and Sāgara means the ocean. It holds many, many divine powers within and many divine consciousnesses reside in this ocean. Now, if you have any wish, you may repeat your wish. Or if you have made any mistake, you may pray for forgiveness, or pray for any achievement. This ocean will listen, will hear your prayers. With this, we will practice Kaṭhūpraṇām. Slowly. So, 1, 1, and 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11. One girl is taking photos. And when you make like an ocean, and they have photos, everybody’s showing their buttons. She must tell her, "Don’t make us push. Send him. Twelve!" Yeah, she should make one side. There, this one. Look, here, here, come on. On his side, I mean, she will make him. This Viveka is missing. Yes. Thirteen! Thirteen! And who told her to make photos? I think to really visit, I don’t think. Fourteen! 14, 15, 15, 16, 16, 17, 17, 18, 18, 19, 19, and 20. Very good. Now, because you are after breakfast, we will not do āsanas. We will sit in meditation posture and bring our mics there. No problem. So, now you don’t see me, I can drink tea. So again, we will do nice prāṇāyāma. You should repeat your mantra with a mālā. Feel yourself comfortable, close your eyes, become aware of your being here on the beach. Nice waves, the sound of the water, feel the fresh air. It’s full of oxygen, very pure, very clean air. Feel comfortable physically and mentally. Feel your respiration. Inhale slowly through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Ujjāyī prāṇāyāma. Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Feel yourself being one with nature. It’s a very beautiful morning. Nice warm sun shining. Very beautiful, colorful sky, blue sky and white clouds, and beautiful sea. Inhale through the nose, and slowly exhale through the mouth. I know that I am inhaling, and I know that I am exhaling. When you inhale, you feel fresh air in the nostrils. A lot of oxygen or prāṇa is entering your respiratory system. And when you exhale, you feel warm air on the lower lip. Relax. Feel your body, that your body is comfortable and relaxed. Be aware of your being here on the Adriatic coast in Croatia. Beautiful beach, beautiful air, and you are doing Ujjāyī Prāṇāyāma. Mentally repeat your mantra with or without a mālā. Relax. Relax.... Relax. Relax... Let go. I don’t know. Microphone is inside. Hold it. Hold it. I don’t know. I have no idea. Ask. Should I switch these steps so it is bigger volume? Bigger volume? It’s higher. This one? Yeah. Okay. You mean it’s nearer. Okay. Okay. Good. Okay. Now put on. Okay. Good. Same. No problem. We are all okay. Meditating, we don’t need any volume. We have volume as prāṇāyāma. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth. If you want to change your position, your posture, you can change. But try to sit straight, relax, and feel the breath. Very consciously inhale through the nose, observe how the breath is flowing through the respiratory system. Three, and also feel how the breath is coming out; you are exhaling through the mouth. The breath flows from the nose to the Maṇipūra Chakra, and from the Maṇipūra Chakra again, the breath comes out through the mouth. Relax. Relax. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth. Better? Be aware of your being here on the beach, and you are listening to the beautiful sound of the water, the waves. Very pleasant weather, very pleasant temperature, 21 degrees, and a very peaceful morning. Be aware of your being here, physically and mentally. And breathe very consciously. It is very good for our health. Prāṇāyāma, this is combined meditation plus prāṇāyāma as anti-stress meditation. Also, this kind of meditation will help you to stabilize your blood pressure. Normal breath through the nose. Inhale and exhale through the nose. Just normal breath. Now we will chant three times OM. Deep inhale. Oṃ... Oṃ... Oṃ... Śukīno bhavantu nā karata buddhi pākarata buddhi, taṭike sambha kambhya jamah eṣu kaṇḍim. Slowly move your fingers, close your palms, open the palms, close your fist, and open. Open your palm, stretch your elbows, bend your head forward and backward, in the front and in the back, right and to the left, to the right and to the left. Very good. Hold your palms, rub your palms, place your hands on the face, open your eyes, and move your hands. Bend forward and come up. Now you have a good 15 minutes to walk on the beach. Okay? Śabadukkha-bhañjana koi mana mañjana, issi mantra se koi mana mañjana, Śrī-dīpanī-rañjana, śabadukkha-bhañjana... Sva-Deep-Jyoti-Ura-Mai-Jagai, Abhaya-Pad-Pav-Sat-Sambha-Vandana, Deepa-Niranjana-Sabha-Dukha-Vanjana, Śrī-dīpanī-rañjanā-sāvadūkha-vañjanā... Śrīdīpanī rañjana, sabādukkha bhañjana, Prabhudīpanīrañjana, sabādukha bhañjana. Jai Śrī Rām Samāj, Jai Śrī Rām Samāj, Jai. Now is really good wind. We had blessings to be on the beach for one and a half hours. After Devapurījī said, "Us go in." And now you see this strong wind and rain. And she is very active now, full of emotion. So it’s good. It’s good that through meditation you left all your emotions there. And at the right time, you came in again. So, the rain has begun. A strong wind is there, and we are under the shelter of modern technology. So we have double shelter: shelter of Gurudev and perfect modern technology. We feel like in Kumbh Melā. Who was in Kumbh Melā? Very good. So you all saw the hall, no? It was also a good hall. That’s one of the best Nāḍī Yoga music. The sound of nature is never disturbing. And man-made sound is more disturbing. Shabbat Shalom. Jai. Jai.... So now, due to the weather condition, we end our program. The next program will begin. And after that will be āsanas, prāṇāyāmas, some talk, and webcasting will be after yoganidrā. Wish you a nice day, nice lunch time. Eat some grapes, that’s enough. Few fresh figs. Go for a walk and you will see a nice fig on the tree. Don’t eat all. Leave it for another one. And nice olives, a lot of olives are hanging. You can taste some. All the best. Hari Om. Venaibhoye. Hari Om.
