An Evening Satsaṅg: On Karma, Compassion, and the Chakras

An evening satsang featuring questions, answers, and teachings on karma, compassion, vegetarianism, and the chakras.

"Only now, after not. Like you dream... that was only the astral body. But if you go now physically... Similarly, this life is given to solve all the problems, all the karmas, and that's why we are here."

"One great saint said... 'Those who do, they will suffer.' That's it. So once you explain them, then finished, okay? Or get a new flat."

Swami Turyananda leads the session, responding to questions from attendees. He explains how to purify karma through selfless action (niṣkāma karma), addresses the ethics of vegetarianism with stories and the law of karma, and discusses balancing material and spiritual life. The latter part focuses on the chakras as energy centers, explaining their function, connection to prāṇa, and their role in enlightenment, supported by a chart from the book Hidden Powers in Humans.

Filming location: Warsaw, Poland

Good evening. How are you? Good. Very good. So, you had this evening's exercises? Afternoon. Yoganidrā. And what more? Yogānidrā and āsanas? Āsanas. Who was leading? Mira. Very nice. Do you know about Mīrā? She is living here from Warsaw, Poland. And for many years, she has been living in Australia. And now she is living in New Zealand and teaching, and taking care, and organizing yoga in their life. In New Zealand, that's a very beautiful place. Nice ocean. More or less, throughout the year, nice and warm. It's not like you're in Poland, North Sea cold. And she's a very good yoga teacher. So you noticed that, yes? Very good. So they say they don't hear me, and I don't hear Swamijī. So if you have some questions, you are welcome to ask. So, can we influence the purification of our karmas now and here in our life? Yes, that's why life is given. Yes. Only now, after not. Like you dream, and in dream you go somewhere. To some friend's house, the friend is not there. You write a letter: "I was here, unfortunately you were not there. This is my telephone number, please call me when you come back." This was a dream. Now, the next day, you telephone your friend and ask if you got the message, he will say no, because that was only the astral body. But if you go now physically, you can write a letter that he will get. Similarly, this life is given to solve all the problems, all the karmas, and that's why we are here. Yes. So can we, through our good deeds, helping others, heal our karma? And how do we do it? So what she told is a good direction, generally. Yes, through prayers. Good thinking. Meditate for them. Repeat mantra for them, do good, that's it. Stand up, practice. There is no danger, but no success. You get deep relaxation. You get peace of mind. What about inquiring yourself and looking deep into the mind? No problem. It doesn't work without mantra? You can inquire, no problem. Was the question of her friend, "How to stop sacrificing myself for others?" With some subconscious feeling of need of compassion, so he does it, sacrificing himself because he needs, subconsciously, compassion for himself. So, how to stop doing it? I don't understand the question. I don't know if I said it right. How to stop devoting yourself to others when, subconsciously, you count on compassion? Do you understand? This is in Polish, even hard to understand. Even Polish people don't understand. What's up, what's up, woman, girl. Is this your question, or did someone put it? Someone, so telephone and ask, "What do you mean?" Call and ask what's going on. Yes, go outside and get very clear. Yes, otherwise I give the wrong answer, then it's not good. Thank you. Someone else? What is the best way to work with the subconscious? So, for example, in the consciousness we think positively, but in the subconscious we have negative thoughts. So how to work with these thoughts in the subconscious? In this book, page number 94, writing about the beautiful chakra in Svādhiṣṭhāna. And there is a complete explanation. A very detailed chart is given. All about subconsciousness. How to work with the subconscious? What is subconsciousness? What is the problem with that? What mantra you should use, everything is in this book written. You did yoga nidrā, okay, very good. Yesterday was a question about vegetarianism, so he wants to know, if someone from my family eats meat, I cannot react at all. And it can be a calm atmosphere in the family, but they would feel they are without any guilt of eating this meat, and they will think they will do okay. Yes, they will not get any information that it is bad, what they are doing, and as a... Result: animals will suffer. On the other hand, I can make very, like, hard, harsh, maybe notice about it, but then there will be a fight and bad atmosphere in the family. How to balance it, to do something good for... Animals, and at the same time, not to create any fight. It is if one drinks poison. If you close the pier to cheese now, consciously or unconsciously, meaning by knowing or unknowing, the poison will affect our body. So if they don't know that eating meat is not bad, or they know, it will affect them. This is number one. Number two: one great saint said in one poem, his house was in front of the house of the butcher, and he was very unhappy because the butcher was slaughtering the animals, and he was praying and meditating. So he heard the voice, "Don't be unhappy. Those who do, they will suffer." That's it. So once you explain them, then finished, okay? Or get a new flat. And live alone with your wife or children or with your yoga friends. I know it is a big problem in Western countries. And I am surprised that even your religious priests, they don't tell it is not good. That is the biggest problem. If you are spiritual leaders, your Pope and your priests and what you call the bishops, if they will be vegetarian, automatically many people will be vegetarian. Buddha was a very, very great saint, and he was 1000% vegetarian, not 100%, 1000%. And now the others, and the Dalai Lama, what you call Buddhist, he eats everything. And therefore, all Buddhists who follow say, "Okay, when the Dalai Lama eats, we also eat." And therefore, they do not understand the religion. They just use religion as a stamp and do the ceremonies. As a profession, but if they will preach real love, then love is not only to the humans, but to all beautiful creatures, all animals. You know, they cut half the throat of the animal and then leave it, and it's suffering. How much suffering? So, whether you believe it or not, you see the fear, the suffering. Imagine this is yourself, that someone cuts your throat halfway and leaves you there. What will happen to you? So, pain is pain. It's not a question of eating meat, but the question of how the animals are kept and how they are killed. And they are innocent; animals are innocent. So, is it a double sin if you kill them? And that's why they are suffering. So it is said that the man who is eating the animal, he will die and become that animal. So last year, one very great saint, he was a self-realized saint, last year, and I was listening to his satsaṅg, his lecture, and he said, "How many chickens you ate in your life, that many times you have to be born as a chicken, to pay back your karma, how many meats of the cows you ate, that time you have to be born as that cow. How many fish you ate, that time you have to be born as a fish to be eaten." That is the law of karma. When you think, every action has a reaction. You can't escape. There is no way. In the entire universe, there is no way. So it's your choice. So next life, that one will become that chicken, and that chicken will come to the human or to some other animal and chew you. That's it. How do you feel? So we think of our children, but who will think of those children? There is one story from Śrī Devapurījī. Our Grand Master, our Grand Master, you see the right side picture. He was walking through the desert, going somewhere. A very hot day, about 40 degrees, 42 degrees, afternoon, 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock. And then you see, there was a man coming, about 300 meters distance. And that man saw Devapurījī. And everyone there respected Devapurījī very much. Devapurījī was for them God. That man was hunting some birds. And he had one basket. And in the basket, there were about twenty pieces of the birds. And when he saw Devapurījī, he did not know what to do. Gurudev will be angry, so he put the basket somewhere, hid it under the bush, and came to Devapurījī and greeted him. Devapurījī asked him, "What did you hide in the bush?" He said nothing. He said, "Don't lie." I know what you hid. He said, "Yes, Lord." I am a poor man, and I was hunting some birds for my children and for me. Devapurījī said, "Yes, you were thinking of your children, but you didn't think of the children of those birds." In the nest, small babies are waiting for the mother to bring some food. And now that mother, you have killed it. It's not only one sin that you kill one bird. But those few babies in each bird's nest, they will die. And you will get sin also that. Bring the basket here. So he brought it. There were so many birds inside. Devapurījī kicked the basket, and all the birds became alive and just flew away, like you open and birds fly. So it was the dead birds—some he killed noontime, different times—and when the foot of the Holy Saint God Devapurījī, he kicked, and he gave them life and told this man. Never kill these innocent animals. For this act, I forgive you, but if you do it in the future, you have to pay a great punishment for many lives. And so is that. So life is dear to everyone. Life is depending on life. It is said, life will eat life. But not the humans. Humans have got intellect. Humans have intelligence. And therefore, humans have that heart to understand the situation of everyone. Pain of everyone, life of everyone, and therefore humans should not do. Any more questions? You found your friend? Yes, yes, okay. Thank you. So, speak clearly, stand up. Okay, okay. So, you come here. But her name, I forgot, yoga name, Karuṇā Devī. What did she say? Say thank you. He's expecting. Question is not clear. Is the question still not clear? Your friend, he or she, should come here. Twój przyjaciel, on lub ona, powinien tu przyjść. OK? It's not clear. Moment, moment. Please, you spoke a little normally. Come to me. Yes, please. Thank you. That's very clear. Thank you. Yes, you see, sometimes a question can be put clearly but understood wrongly. Their answer can be completely opposite. This question belongs to the karma yoga. And there are two kinds of karma. Śakām karma and niṣkām karma. And that means that you don't feel, and you should not expect, that someone will give you back something. You see God in everyone. You see divine light in everyone. And you serve them as your service to God. Then it becomes a niṣkāma karma. About this, there is one whole chapter, a beautiful chapter written. Bhagavad Gītā. I think it is the third chapter about karma yoga. And that you should read the Bhagavad Gītā. There is one beautiful book written by Swami Vivekānanda, and that book, the name of the book, is called Karma Yoga. And there, in this Karma Yoga, Vivekānanda explains very beautifully in long chapters. Now, I give you one example. There is a small baby, one month old, or one week old, one week. Or five months old. The baby is crying. Because he is hungry, and mother takes baby on her lap and she is feeding, giving milk from her breast. But mother doesn't expect that child will tell mother, "Thank you." Even while drinking milk, five or six years old, by a baby, she is kicking her mother with her legs on her face, but her mother is not angry. Mother loves. She holds the feet of the little baby. And she kisses the feet of the baby. Love. She is feeding the child with love. She is touching the child with love. And whatever a child is doing while drinking milk, the child makes urine, and the mother is not angry. That kind of love, when we develop, then it's called selfless service. There is no expectation. That is real helping, real love. Clear? Okay. Yes, seven minutes more. I still have seven minutes. So, how to maintain the level of energy? So, we keep it on the same level, and we don't lose it. And the second question is, how to balance between material life and spiritual life? So we don't neglect material life too much. We should not keep energy. And you cannot keep the energy. Energy should flow. Water should flow. And when water flows, it's clean. But you should have a source of the energy. There should be a source of the water. Otherwise, whatever it is, it will flow away, and there is nothing. So there is always a source of the water, and it is flowing all the time. Like your river, Viśvā. The Viśvā river is flowing. But from somewhere, water is coming constantly. If there is no source, it will dry. Similarly, we should have a source of our energy, and there are two kinds of sources. One is the nourishment, good nourishment, that will support our nerve and gland systems and chakras to produce more and more energy. Second, your mantra, Guru Kṛpā, that will give you strength and will supply you energy. So we must first find the source of the energy. Then everything is okay. We should not deny the material life. But we should use them. We should not abuse them. Use it. Don't abuse it. This microphone, it's a material. We need this, camera. Material, and it costs a lot of money, but this camera brings the message throughout the whole world. Thousands of people are listening, and computers are on. Now, should we deny the cameras or use the cameras? Therefore, we have a physical body; our body is thirsty, hungry, tired, feels pain, or feels cold or hot. We cannot say just nothing. It is there. So listen to your body. Take care of your body. But not too much. Understand the body is a material thing. And it requires also material things, but we should not abuse. Now, for the thirst. For the body, God has—Mother Nature has—created these five elements. And for thirst, clean water. But you are thirsty, and you drink alcohol. Your body will say, "Oh, God." Do you know what you are doing now, or are you drinking your coffee? Your body said, "Oh, why do you put this black, rubbish liquid inside?" So, for the thirst, there is clean water. For the hunger, there is good milk, fruits, grains. It is bread. So, listen to your body. Now, what happens? Our wrong way of life makes our body addicted. You become alcoholic, and now you have some systems in the body, especially the brain centers, which are damaged. And when you don't drink, you feel very tired. Spasms, and you drink alcohol. It means you are abusing; you are not using. Therefore, don't reject the material things. Television? Yes, very good. But don't see those films which you don't like. But there are whole world news you can see on television. There are beautiful natures they show you. Even if you go as a tourist, maybe it will take you one, two years to see those pictures. So there is a positive aspect. And there is a negative aspect. That's it. Okay. So see you then again in one and a half hour. Now it's six o'clock, and seven thirty here. Thank you, Turyānanda and Citrapurī Kambhava. Have you seen this short film also about chakras? Yes, okay. And then slides, yes? Good evening. So, how nice to see you again. Nice, cool weather. Very nice, cool. You like cold weather? Yes. This is nothing for you, no? In winter, it can be minus in Warsaw. How far does it go? Minus 25, only. It's getting very cold, so this is just nothing. Well, we have our chakras this evening, so, Mūlādhāra Cakra. We have everything, and we... Can we put some lights off, or do you need the lights? Or this light you put off, not? Or do you need both? Then it doesn't matter. Are these tube lights? Okay. It's okay. So those who are sitting here, they can come more to this side if you don't see. So you can come a little to this side. Do we have the pointer? Number one. Number two. Can you put this a little closer? Or is it difficult? Yeah. Picture a little closer to me. Or is it not possible? Thank you. What? Okay. Maximum, okay. Thank you. So then it means I want to see the whole chakra chart. With this body, I don't see this one. Perhaps I don't know. Or where you are sitting in meditation and you see all the chakras. Now, we spoke this morning a lot about the energy, the cosmic energy. And chakras are those energy centers. They receive from the universe the energy. And then the chakras are there as a transformer and stabilizer. So it's transforming the energy from the universe into the body and controlling at the same time: which organ or which muscle, which part of the body or brain centers, how much energy they need, which kind of energy they... Need all, is controlled by these eight chakras. Which organs, which muscles, which centers in the brain, what kind of energy do they need, how much energy do they need? All this is controlled by these eight chakras. And here is dormant our destiny. The good luck or bad luck is here from all karmas from past lives. When this chakra awakens, it means everything turns upside down. Sometimes it's not easy for a person to master this awakening. Because you get many visions and feelings, then it's like a filtering. It controls everything. All hidden karmas will come out. Memory will come out, tormented energy. I think the battery is gone. So this is what we call Mūlādhāra Chakra. Now, this book, Hidden Powers in Humans, is available in English, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, German, French, Spanish, and Hindi, unfortunately not in Polish. Now, some of you should take a saṅkalpa, a vow, that you translate this and find one publishing house to print and publish it. In those languages which I told you, this book, "Yog and Līlā," a book, and "Līlā Amṛt," they are like best sellers. I don't know why you come to this picture, but we can show this also, no problem. Now, when the chakras are fully awakened, you become a person of enlightenment. Now, all your past karmas are deleted. You have no more any karma; good merged into the goodness, bad into the badness. But still, you are alive, and as long as the body... The existing body is producing karma: thinking, eating, sleeping, working—everything you do through the body. Sometimes good and sometimes bad can also happen. But these karmas, they are all protected by this divine energy, the aura. And the person who thinks bad about you receives all the negative karma. So it's good that someone thinks bad about you. Say, "Thank you, my some karmas is this." And who thinks good about you? That takes your good qualities. Negative karma, negative qualities, is limited. Good. Good qualities are the qualities of God, and that is endless. So these are the... Someone was telling about working with the healing powers. Now, this is the energy body, and these chakras, which are... Powerful chakras are Maṇipūra. Why did you change? Ājñā chakra and Sahasrāra chakra. But other sub-chakras, they are all connected, and they are awakening. Yesterday, someone was asking about the twelve chakras. They are connected in this body too. Now, this is called prāṇa, through the nostrils coming. Prāṇa is not oxygen. Prana is cosmic energy that you may say is life. When someone dies, then prāṇa disappears. Prāṇa is the radiance of the soul. Prana is between the cosmic mother and this individual cosmic mother-child. We are the children of the mother. And mother is nourishing us through her energy, prāṇa. Now, what we see is that this prāṇa has ten different qualities. Five Prāṇas and five Sub-Prāṇas. Sub-Pranas are very fine qualities of the Prāṇas. There is a special prāṇa only for our heart. Only for the nerve systems. Only for our eyes. And so on, there are ten prāṇas. In this book, you have a beautiful chart about all these energies and prāṇas. And you should receive this book, and then when you study this, you will understand what is the Kundalinī, what is my human life. And what are these? All very good functions in my body. So Prāṇa, Apāna, Samāna, Udāna, Vyāna. These are the five prāṇas and the sub-prāṇas: kṛkara, devadatta, kurma, and so on. They are five prāṇas. Now, when you inhale, the inhaling force, receiving energy, we are receiving, and that time is very pure. That's called prāṇa. But there must be something which is again exhaling. Which is rejecting all the dead cells and dead energy from the body, also passing the urine and stool. Without Apāna Prāṇa, it is impossible. Apāna Prāṇa is living here in this part of the body, from the abdomen until the entire intestine. Now, the Maṇipūra Chakra here—here you see prāṇa goes in through the nose and, coming down, you see like a chain, and it goes around and enters into the Maṇipūra Chakra. And from here, Lakṣmī means good things. Lakṣmī means happiness. Lakshmī means wealth. Lakshmī means good health. Vishnu is fire. That fire energy. And the fire can only be controlled and can exist in the water. As water is cold, there is more fire inside. Cold. There is more fire in it. When you put your hand in cold water, after a while you feel a burning sensation. Now, the mythological picture is showing that from the navel of Viṣṇu comes one lotus. Above the water, the lotus is opening. And on the lotus, sitting, is the Creator, the Holy Father, Brahmā. He has four hands, and each hand is holding one Veda. Sāma Veda, Yajur Veda, Atharva Veda, and Ṛg Veda, the four Vedas. So Brahma is known as the creator. In these yugas, from Kali yugas, Satya yugas, and so on, Brahmā is the creator. Now, Brahmā was not born or created from Viṣṇu's navel. Vishnu gave a position, sitting, an āsana, to Brahmā. And that is lotus. Now let me come back to this picture. So here is a seat of Viṣṇu: fire. When fire burns everything, it turns into the ash, and ash is the holy, that is Lakṣmī, fortune. And ash is put on the forehead. This is our fortune in Christianity? There is also one day that comes, which you are celebrating, called Ash Wednesday. You get here a tilak. But it should not be only one day. Every day. This is your fortune, your good luck. It is said, "Who has no tilak?" And to see that face brings you bad luck. The women here also have this beautiful tilak, bindi. And here the women also have red color. That's called a sign of the sobhāgya, a married woman. In Western culture, you have a ring. And when you see that ring, automatically you know it is a married man or a married woman. And in India, when they see that red color here, a woman has that, it means she is married. So bhāgya means the lucky, happiest, faithful one. Now we come further. The soul enters this planet through light, water, and air. Space is there, so already the soul is in the drop of the water. In the vegetation, in the seeds, the corn, the crops. In that is also seed, and that is a soul. And when that enters into the creatures, living beings, and when the female conceives, that is water, and it goes into the water. First, we'll create a volume of the water. And you know, the embryo is all the time in that water. And inside is then manifesting a body. It doesn't matter, humans or animals. But that embryo is first developing like a sprout, when a seed is sprouting. And that is connected to the navel of that person. And to the mother's body, now, that embryo is a lotus. Now, we imagine this mythological picture: the ocean is that water, and that fire, the soul—where is it coming from? It is from Vishṇu. And providing Vishnu the place for the embryos. And then the Brahmā is coming. Brahmā means intellect. It is that the intellect becomes creative. And that light which comes in the soul as life, that's called Śiva. Shiva Jyoti. And so here it is, that junction where the soul resides. And this is the seat of the sound. And we know that everything begins with the sound. And that nāda, that sound, is everywhere. Even a small petal of this flower has immense resonance. I'm touching this petal, and when I touch this petal, it's just to feel it. It is a positive sound, love, and when I want to just take out one, it's screaming, a negative, painful vibration is there, so not only the animals, but also the plants feel fear. Long ago, it was, I think, about 1979 or 1980, they demonstrated one instrument. So when you were cutting the potato, even before you began to cut, you saw the knife and the potato. The potato was screaming, "Don't kill me!" The machine could sense that sound, vibration. When they brought the knife to the plant, it was like a baa, screaming. Next day, in the market, nobody bought anything but potatoes. Everyone who saw the television was scared to buy the potatoes and put them in their kitchen. So, sound, vibration, resonance—even in dead material also. In every atom, there is a light, there is a sound, and that's energy, the consciousness. But in the human body, it's more, and it's strong. So that from here, then Brahma, that's the head. Now, you have heard maybe that in India they have a caste system, but the caste system was not divided as now. They think this untouchability thought was brought to India when the Englishmen came. It was not like that. The Brahmin means coming from Brahma, which means intellect. Nothing to do with the human body, and intellect is here. In this part above the neck, there are five Jñānendriyas. Then, the senses of knowledge: ears, eyes, nose, taste, and the fifth one is the skin. That's around the whole body. Means touch. Anything touches your skin anywhere in the body, immediately information comes to Brahman. So this is the Brahmā, this is the Brahmin. Then come the warriors, the protectors. And these are the arms, the strength, the hands of giving and helping. So these are the warriors. Then comes the trunk of the body. Now, the trunk of the body is a farmer distributor. So whatever you eat and drink goes to the body, into the stomach. And the digestive system knows which energy to distribute where, and in which form. So here, in the trunk of the body, there are thousands of systems. Even we don't know about that. And most important organs, like the heart, kidneys, liver, and so on, are located in this part of the body. This is called Veśa, or farmer. Now, legs are known as Śūdra. It means they carry you all the time. They walk everywhere. Even if it's dark, even if it's a dirty place. Your legs will not tell you, "I will not go there." They will go. As you think, they will do. But you will protect your legs. These are the four castes explained in Hinduism or in Vedic culture. These are the bodies divided into four parts. So Brahmin, Kṣatriya, Vaiśya, and Śūdra. And in reality, all is you. There is no second person. Afterwards, the people were destroyed. They tried to make a conflict in the people, and what we call racism. And what we call the high caste and lower caste, and what they call this royal family and non-royal family. Actually, royal families, they were all that time what you call now, you can call criminal mafias. They all held the people who didn't follow them and killed them. They declare, "We are the king." That's it. Therefore, in Hinduism it is said, there is no king. Only one king, that's God. We are all human, all brothers and sisters. And if king, then they are the servant of the people. They should look after the people. They should give everything to the people. Because the king and queen are like father and mother. And they should give everything to the children, but no. The kings took everything away from the poor farmers. Hardly they left something, but they can eat, that's all. And that's why, thanks to God, democracy came. But now democracy is also abused. So it's not anymore democracy, but it's called demon crazy. That is happening. What to do? Now, here you see the elephant. Beautiful, huh? But you know, I never saw two, even with the two trunks, elephant. Did you see? But there are two trunks. The elephant in our mythology is a symbol of luck, strength, protection, and therefore the seed of the God Gaṇeśa is in the mūlādhāra. He is maintaining everything, and seven trunks means saptadhātu. Śabtadhātu means seven minerals. And these seven minerals are very important for our health, so maintaining our health. The elephant was born not in a normal way. In Satya Yuga, when they were churning the ocean, fourteen jewels came out. This jewel means certain symbols, certain things came, and one of that was a white elephant, and that elephant had seven trunks. And so it is a symbol of good health, strength, balance, and progress. Therefore, the elephant is there. Red color is the color of the earth, the color of the blood. Four petals: these are the four pillars of our life. Humans have to realize these four pillars. They are called Dharma, Artha, Kāma, and Mokṣa. The aim of human life, and to be successful in human life, you have to realize four things. These are the four pillars of your life: dharma, obligation, duty. What is the principle or dharma of a human? For example, the dharma of the eyes is to see. The dharma of the ear is to hear. Dharma of the fire is to give heat. Dharma of the father. Dharma of the mother, dharma of the husband, wife, children, the neighbors, so protect your dharma. If you cannot protect your dharma, then you create bad karma. And then you have a problem. So a human is born as a protector, not as a destructor. So be a protector. Artha means wealth. There are two kinds of wealth. The wisdom and the material wealth. If you have no material wealth, then you have to live like the old, old-age Neanderthal was living in the caves. Nothing. But now we are civilized. You have a guest at home. So you have to give the guest water to drink. So you must have water in your flat, but you need a glass. Glass doesn't fall from the sky. You have to buy a glass. You have to offer tea, eating, sleeping. So nowadays, every step needs money. You can't breathe in and out without money. And even to die is very expensive, so don't die. So wealth. If people say, "Oh, material life, we don't need it." Then, look, tell me, do you have clothes on or not? If you don't need anything, then throw away the dress. Throw away your mobile. Don't go home. Sit on the bank of the Vespa. Therefore, renunciation means to renounce your bad habits. Renounce your bad thoughts. That is a renunciation of bad qualities, bad habits. Karma. Do the good things and give birth to the good child, educate the child, and mokṣa, liberation. These are the four solid pillars of human life. Without this, you cannot be successful, finished. So dharma means also mercy, compassion, love to every creature. Vishwa, prāṇī, merī, ātmā, he. Vishwa means universe, complete. All creatures, all beings in the universe, are Myself. Ātmā soy Paramātmā, and Ātmā is the Paramātmā, the Supreme One. So when I see all are Myself, how can I kill them? How can I cause them pain? That's it. Śaṅkarācārya said, "The first step of self-realization is that when you see yourself in all, then that mercy," Dharma, artha, kāma, mokṣa, elephant, this friend, no friend, too much. But someone should take responsibility to translate it in good language, professionally. Jai Devī, and someone help me. I wish you tonight a very good, good night and divine blessings. Tomorrow we will see again. Morning, as usual, program. And then evening will be satsaṅg with Mantra Purī. You know her, many do, and who don't know, they will know her. So, see you tomorrow. All the best. Wish you much love, divine blessings, and good night. Adios. Adios.
