An Evening Satsaṅg: On Karma, Compassion, and the Chakras
This life is given to solve all karmas. Only now can we act. Through good deeds, prayers, and meditation, we influence purification. Do not expect reward; serve selflessly as a mother cares for a child. This is niṣkāma karma. Do not deny material life; use it, do not abuse it. Maintain energy by finding its source in nourishment and spiritual practice. Our chakras are energy centers controlling the body and filtering past karmas. When fully awakened, past karmas are resolved, though the living body still acts. All beings feel pain. Eating meat creates karma; you must repay that suffering. True dharma is seeing yourself in all creatures, causing no harm. Life is protected by four pillars: duty, wealth, righteous desire, and liberation.
"Only now, after not. This life is given to solve all the problems, all the karmas, and that's why we are here."
"That kind of love, when we develop, then it's called selfless service. There is no expectation. That is real helping, real love."
