Mahaprabhujis Mahasamadhi Satsang celebrations, from Jadan Ashram, India 1/3
The Guru is the root of all spiritual understanding and grace. Without the Guru, nothing can be known. The Guru's lineage is an eternal vine of nectar. One must recognize the true essence of the Guru, for the form is merely the face; the real Guru is beyond body and mind. The root of meditation, mantra, and knowledge is the Guru's grace. Satsanga is the greatest spiritual practice. Even a sinner who comes to satsanga is cleansed. If you place the entire world on one side of a scale and satsanga on the other, the side with satsanga is heavier. The Guru resides within; there is no need to search elsewhere. Serve selflessly, help the poor, and protect living beings. Compassion is the root of dharma, while pride is the root of sin. Love for the Guru should exceed love for one's own family. Only the light of the Sadguru's knowledge dispels inner darkness. Follow the Guru's teachings and walk that path.
"The root of meditation is the Guru, the root of the lamp is the mantra, the root of speech is the word, the root of knowledge is the Guru’s grace."
"If you place the entire world, love, mother, satsaṅga, heaven, and liberation on one side of the scale, and on the other side place only satsaṅga, the scale with satsaṅga will be heavier."
