Glory of god is endless (Ramayana)

The glory of God is endless and His divine play pervades the entire universe. Śiva is indescribable consciousness, liberation, beauty, and truth. Devotion to Śiva provides protection, as all forces are controlled by Him. The Vedas themselves cannot fully describe His glory. In satsaṅg, the sage Bharadvāja was overwhelmed with joy, his love so profound it surpassed speech. This spiritual gathering is the tonic that clarifies consciousness and remedies inner suffering. To be spiritual light requires constant self-surrender, like a wick burning itself. True devotion harmonizes; loving Śiva is inseparable from loving Rāma, as each divinity cherishes the other. Speak words that are sweet and nourishing, like ripe fruit, not like dirt.

"Śiva means consciousness. Śiva means liberation. Śiva means beauty."

"To be a light means you have to become a dot. The dot has to burn itself constantly."

Śrī Rām jaya, jaya, Śrī Sītāvara Rāmachandra. Bhagavān kī, the glory, the glory of God, the glory of God... Hari Ānanda, Ānanda Hari Kathā. God is endless, and His glory is also endless. What He is playing, His divine līlā on this small planet of ours... Compared with the entire universe, our planet is a very tiny atom. His līlā is ananta, because throughout the entire universe, His līlā is there. His līlā is ananta, as His game is present in all the universities around the world. Many understand, many don’t understand. Many gods don’t do their līlā so that we understand. If we understand or we don’t understand, God doesn’t lose anything. This is our work, not God’s work. Therefore, God is Almighty. And He is here, and everywhere. The Lord Śiva. The glory of Śiva is indescribable. The glory of Śiva is indescribable. The glory of Śiva is indescribable. Śiva means consciousness. Śiva means consciousness. Śiva means liberation. Śiva means liberation. Śiva means beauty. Śiva means beauty. Śiva means freedom. Śiva means truth. Satyam, Śivam, Sundaram. Satyam is the ultimate truth. Śivam is the consciousness. Sundaram is the beauty. Those who are dedicated to God Śiva, they can protect themselves against many, many negative energies or negative attacks. You know, in the stories, many rākṣasas are against everyone, but they are friends of Śiva. Not that they are friends, but they are afraid of him. All are controlled by him; otherwise, they will die. So when you adore Śiva, you are automatically protected from them. I used to say the Rakṣasas are the mafias in spirituality. And you can’t fight against them, but if you are a devotee of their master, then you are well protected. They will not trouble you. That is Śiva. The Śiva. Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya, Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya. Charit Sindhu Girijāraman Vedan Pāvahi Pāru Barne Tulsī Dāsukimi Atimati Mandh Gavaru Siyavar Rāmachandra Kī Pavan Sutta Hanumān Kī Jai, Humāpati Mahādev Kī Jai. Tulsīdāsjī says, Tulsīdāsjī says, Girijāpati, the Lord of the Himalaya, Himalaya Ura. Mahādev, the greatest God. Mahādev, the greatest God. His Līlā is endless, His Līlā is like an endless ocean, apar, no end. And how to speak and sing the glory of Him? Even in the Vedas, they have not still found everything about Śiva. Even the Vedas are unable to describe the glory of Śiva. Even the Vedas are not able to describe the glory of Śiva. My friends, then how can this limited intellectual one, this limited intellect, Tulsīdās, describe? So, my dear friends, how can this limited understanding, Tulsīdās, be written by Lord Śiva? O Lord Śiva, You are the Mighty, Immortal, Endless, Great. Oh Lord Śiva, you are the mighty, the infinite, the unhearable, the great. Oh Lord Śiva, you are the most great, the most magnificent. And so in the Ṛṣi Bharadvāja’s āśrama,... When they heard in the satsaṅg about Lord Śiva, the ṛṣi Bharadvāja, the great sage, was very happy. Ṛṣi Bharadvāj, the great sage, was very happy. He felt so happy and so overjoyed. And he wanted to listen more and more. He wanted to have satsaṅg more and more. His eyes were full of tears. His eyes were full of tears. His whole body, the happiness appeared... And he wanted to listen more about God and satsaṅg... So those who have this love, spiritual love in them, as and as our consciousness becomes more clear, more pure, then we would like to listen more and more. That is a remedy for our inner suffering. That is a spiritual tonic for our development, to get the spiritual strength. We need a spiritual tonic. And that is satsaṅg. Ato e satsaṅg. We would like to know more and more. What is God? Still, we know God only a little bit, one-sided. We do not know completely about Him. All different things are created by Him. And all different things that exist in the universe are also by Him. It is a jungle which He created. Onyestvoryo džunglu. And he has to walk through that jungle, and there are thorns in the jungle. And the thorn may go to his body also. He has to suffer this too. So, what you have created, you have to go through. So the young ṛṣi Bharadvāja, he was so happy. Takoi Ṛṣi Bharadvāj, biho velma sretan. He couldn’t speak. Emotion is so strong. The emotion can even suppress your words. You can’t explain, but you can’t speak. But one can understand, though you can’t speak. But if you still understand, even if you don’t speak, your feelings are the language in which you speak, through which you express yourself. So, the great sage Yājñavalkya, when he saw this condition of Ṛṣi Bharadvāja, Ṛṣi Yājñavalkya, when he saw the state in which he was, what did the other ṛṣi say? What Tulsīdāsjī says here. What does Tulsīdāsjī say about this? Premā bibāsa mukha āvana bānī, Dāsade kī hara se munī jānī. O dhanyatābhā janamu munīśa, Tumahī prāṇasama priya Gorīśa. Premā bibāsa mukha āvana bānī. He was so much overwhelmed in love, he couldn’t speak. Daśadeśa ihārasī muni gyānī, when the wise one, Yājñavalkya, when he saw the condition of that ṛṣi, he too was overwhelmed with happiness. And the wise Yājñavalkya says to the ṛṣi, Yājñavalkya says to the ṛṣi, It is the pride of the world. There are many who are born who are ashamed of the world. Try to develop your spirituality. Try to become wise. Try to become a bhakta. Prabhu Dīp Karatā Mahāprabhujī Dīp Karatā, the world will be proud of you. Prabhu Dīp Karatā Mahāprabhujī Dīp Karatā. Try to be light, don’t be darkness. Prabhu Dīp Karatā Mahāprabhujī Dīp Karatā. And you know, to be light is not easy. Prabhu Dīp Karatā Mahāprabhujī Dīp Karatā. To be a light means you have to become a dot. In order to give the light, the dot has to burn itself constantly. The dot has to burn all the time, and that’s the life of a spiritual person. That’s the life of the sage. That’s the life of the wise one. Because that person is the light of the world. Otherwise, oil is there, fire is there, but there is nothing in between to burn. There is no one who can constantly be resisting that fire. And spirituality doesn’t develop in one anuṣṭhāna. It’s lifelong. First, you have to become sure. You know where you belong. To whom you have dedicated yourself. And for that, you are a dot, you are burning. Paramparā Vaj Kanots, Ame Eg. That light will become one day the sunlight. The sun is constantly burning; it’s a fire. So, Great Sage Yājñavalkya says, You are the pride of this world, that you have so much love and knowledge about God. And so much interest and dedication for satsaṅg. You are the blessed one, that you love Gaurīpati Śiva more than your own life. It is said, Rām hī deśāpane un sohāī, binu śaṅkarasya pāṇi padenā. U Rām bhakta kara lasanā evu, because those who have no devotion to Śiva, those who have no love to his lotus feet. They are not dear to God Rāma, even in his dream. Because the Lord of Rāma is Śiva. The Lord of Viṣṇu is Śiva. Lord of Viṣṇu is Śiva, and Lord of Śiva is Viṣṇu. Total harmony, tolerance, and emancipation. So, people who don’t love Śiva, Viṣṇu doesn’t love them. It is stupid to say Śiva is a semi-god. I don’t know; someone told me sometimes. Now I would like to say that Śiva is God-fearing. I don’t know who said that. Shiva is life. Without Shiva, you will not be here today. You will not be born. The whole nature will not be here. Everything. Mahāprabhujīp Karatā Mahāprabhujīp Karatā... He does not accept those who do not love Śiva, even in their own essence. Binsal Vishwanāth Pad Nehu Rām Bhagat Kar Lashan Ehu Vishwanāth. Śiva is the Lord of the Universe. If you have no sattvic, positive, humble devotion to Śiva, or if you have a sattvic, positive, humble devotion to Śiva, it means that you are the devotee of Rāma. If you have a sattvic, positive, humble devotion to Śiva, it means that you are the devotee of Rāma. Śivaśaṁ Ko Raghupati Bratādhārī, Binu Āgatajī Satī Asinārī, Pānukārī Raghupati Bhakti Dekhāī, Kośivaśaṁ Rāmahī Priyabhāī. So, like God Śiva and Raghunāth Bhagavān Rāma, so, who is here who has the equal love to God Śiva and Rāma? Who is here who has equal love for the gods Śiva and Rāma? That Shiva is that power that even he detests from Satī, detests from Satī... Shiva is that power that even he detests from the Satī, detests from the Satī. And this is the power that showed the Lord Rāma. But Sati, who then realized Śiva again. Therefore, it is a question: who is more dear to Rāma, dearer than Śiva? No one is dearer to him than Śiva. Therefore, O Ṛṣi, pratamahime kahi Śiva carita. Rāhita Samastha Vikārasyaāvar Rāmacandra Kī Jai. Therefore, I have told you also before the greatness of Śiva, because I knew that you are the devotee of Śiva. Because you are a great devotee of Rāma, and you would like to have more devotion towards him. And your devotion to Rāma can grow only when I tell you the greatness of Śiva. Then you will understand why Śiva loves Rāma, Viṣṇu, and why Rāma or Viṣṇu loves Śiva. Did you understand why Viṣṇu loves Śiva and why Śiva loves Viṣṇu? To love Rāma even more, I had to tell you something about Śiva, and to understand why Rāma and Viṣṇu love Śiva, and why Śiva loves Rāma and Viṣṇu. You are the pure soul, and you are the devotee or the bhakta of Rāma. You are the pure soul, and you are the bhakta of Rāma. Therefore, "Mē Jānā Tumhāra Guṇasīlā Kauṁ Sunahū Abhragupati Līlā Sun Muni Ājū Samāgama Tore Kahī Na Jāyajasa Sukhumana More." While knowing your qualities and your interests, While knowing your qualities and your humbleness... Now I will tell you the divine līlās of Raghupati, Śrī Rāma. Listen, O Śrī Pāśupati Mudrāce, while meeting with you today, I have realized or felt so much ānanda, joy, and happiness in me. How happy I am, I can’t describe with words. You know, when the wise one meets the wise one, then such a joy comes out. And the wiser meets with the wiser one, then they talk about wisdom. When the ignorant one meets with the ignorant one, then begins argument and boxing. Like in ordinary language, they said, "The two donkeys," when the two male donkeys meet, then they are kicking from both back legs. So when the wise one meets with the wise one, then it’s always happiness and joy. There’s no negative talking, no criticizing, no worshipping. Always satsaṅg, always wisdom. But the ignored one, even if it costs money, they will talk negatively even on the telephone. But they do not know that it will cost them to speak about negative things on the phone as well. I know your goodness. I say to you that you are the Lord of the universe. While knowing your qualities and your humbleness, I am going to tell you the glory of God, Rāma. Knowing your properties and your status, I will tell you the story of Lord Rāma. Sonu muni aju samāgam tore, listen, O says, our meeting today with you, kahina jāi jasu suk manu more, I can’t describe how much happiness it gave to my mind and to my heart. And that you should show on Guru Pūrṇimā when the guest comes. And that you should show now, during the whole week when you are here, happiness towards everyone. If you are unhappy or sad or angry or jealous toward someone, it means you are not that; your glory and your humbleness are not like that. If you are not happy, sad, or angry, it means that your glory is not as great as it seems. You are sitting under the cherry tree. And the cherry falls on your cloth or on your head. Nice, ripe, big, good cherry. You take that tree, and you don’t throw it. You throw it this way. It’s happy. Or on the same tree, there is sitting one bird. Upon that tree sits a bird, and it makes something peep on your cloth. You will take it, and what will you do? You will not do this. You will not lick your fingers. You will quickly say, "My God," and go and wash your hands. So if you talk to someone, then drop some sweet cherries. Don’t drop the dirt out. That other will also enjoy your words. Sama Charit Yati Amit Munisha, Kahina Sakahi Sat Koti Ahisa, Tad Pitatha Jatha Shruta Kahu Bakhani, Sumerigirapati Prabhu Dhanupani. O says, O wise one, the glory of the Rāma is endless. The thousand-headed snake, or thousand-headed Viṣṇu, cannot tell the glory of Rāma. The Śeṣa, the Śeṣanāga, because he is observing all the time Viṣṇu, who is Viṣṇu, Śeṣanāga knows, and even the Śeṣa, thousands of Śeṣanāgas will speak about the greatness of Viṣṇu, still it is not enough. Rāma Carita Ati Amit Muniśā, Rāma’s glory is endless. Kāhina Sākai Satkoṭi Ahisā, the thousands of sad Nagas will tell, but they cannot still tell what is the greatness of him. Tadapi Jathasrutu Kahumbakhani Sumeri Girapati Prabhu Dhanupani, but still, what I have heard, and as much as I know, I will tell you. That God Rāma, who has a beautiful bow in his hand. So I will meditate on Him, on His beautiful human form. And I will tell you what is the glory of Rāma. So let us meditate on His divine form in His hands. And beautiful bow. Kabhi Ura Ajira Na Chava Hibani. The Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of Wisdom. Saraswati, the Goddess of Wisdom, she is like a puppet in your hand. She is like a puppet in your hand, and the inner self, the Lord, who is moving this Saraswati, is God Rāma. He is holding that thread. He lets move those words, the wisdom, the Saraswati in me. He is the one who starts the words of wisdom that come from Sarasvatī from me. And when He knows that we are His devotees, then He is merciful to us. And when He knows that we are His devotees, then He is merciful to us. Lord is merciful to all the poets who can write a poem, a song, or nice words, or a book about God. So God is controlling and guiding that Saraswati in them. Tulsīdāsjī said very nicely that in the yard of your heart, or in the yard of the heart of the poets, God let the Sarasvatī dance there. God allows the Goddess Sarasvatī to dance in the hearts of the singers. On whom God is merciful, in the heart of that poet, Saraswatī is dancing. The one to whom the Lord is kind, Sarasvatī dances in that heart. Saraswatī plays in the hearts of those songs that have God’s grace. I bow down to him, my salutation to him. And I am going to tell the very divine glory of him. The Kailash Mound in the Himalayas is one of the most beautiful and divine places. Where Śiva and Pārvatī are residing all the time. And I will tell you the glory of them. Meditate on them, and I will tell you their glory. Meditate on them, and I will tell you their glory.
