Gurupurnima celebration 2011

The true form of the Guru is the word itself. This body is worn to explain and guide beings, but both the Guru's body and the disciple's body must be left behind. The eternal, omnipresent Guru is Satya-Seṃ-Prakāś. The disciple's true form is the Ātmā, which will reach the same end. The Guru is the word, and the word is the Satguru. The real nectar is in that word. The Sadguru teaches that word and develops love for the Paramātmā. The one sealed by the Sadguru is protected from Yamadūtas at death. The name given by the Satguru cannot be taken away. The Satguru is the true friend and protector forever. Liberation is attained the day one meets the Satguru. All subsequent practice is done only by the Guru's permission.

"On whom Sadguru puts his seal, he does not have to go with Yamadūtas."

"The day when we met the Gurudev, that day only we have attained liberation."

Filming locations: Jadan, Rajasthan, India.

Part 1: The True Form of the Guru We will speak about Gurudev, but after some time. Jo tūṃ celā dekhā dekhe kī khān, jo tūṃ celā śabda kā, śabda brahma karmān. In reality, the true form of the Guru is the word itself. This body has been worn by this world to explain, quench, and irritate the living beings of the world. This body is both Guru and disciple. Both of them have to be left here. The Guru is eternal. He is immaculate. He is omnipresent. He is Satya-Seṃ-Prakāś. The true form of a disciple is the Ātmā. He will reach the end and will be in the same world. The Guru is the word in itself. In this world, he becomes a means of bringing the living beings to the Lord by wearing the body to make them aware. And by completing his work, he returns to that word. In the same way, the soul of a human being is also the source of the same word. The word Satguru is the word, and the word itself is the Satguru. The real nectar is in that word. Sadguru teaches his disciples the same word. He says that only when we meet the Guru can we develop love for him. Only his love can make us fall in love with that Paramātmā. On whom Sadguru puts his seal, he does not have to go with Yamadūtas. The one to whom Sadguru gives the name, no one can snatch it. Neither can air blow it away, nor can fire burn it, nor can it be robbed by thieves and robbers, nor can it drown in water. No one can take away the name given by the Satguru. Such a Satguru comes to take the servant himself at the time of death and does not let him go with the Yamadūtas. Satguru is our true friend, our protector, not only in this world, but also in the time of death; he helps us and protects us forever. We too have many relatives, friends, and lovers, yet we can be separated from each other while we live. In the end, no one goes with anyone, and no one helps anyone. Such a Satguru, such a Satguru always helps us and takes care of us. When Satguru’s infinite grace is lost, then the account book of our Dharma kingdom is lost. That is why Satguru Sant Maa Purushan says: "Tīn tuk kopin ki bhājī bhin lūna tulsi harde raghuvar vase indra bāpado kun." In front of the Sadguru and the saints, the position of Indra Rāja is nothing. Tīn tuk kopin kī bhājī bhin lūna tulasī harde raghuvar vase indra bāpado kun. If we see a Sadguru like this, then we have attained liberation. Then there is no more liberation. I have attained liberation on that day. The Guru has given me a good deed. My liberation, my liberation has happened on that day. The day when we met the Gurudev, when we met the Satpuruṣ, that day only we have attained liberation. I have attained liberation on that day. The Guru has given me a good deed. Now if he comes, what can I do for everyone? I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world. I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world. I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world, I am the seller of this world. Who is to be served? So, the solution to the doubt is, I do mālā, bhajan, and sumaraṇ. I do not do this for salvation. This salvation happened that day. It is only the permission of the Guru. I follow the permission of the Guru. It is the permission of the Guru to do seva, bhajan, to do sumaraṇ, to have mercy. This is the permission of the Guru, and I follow the permission. That is why my salvation happened that day. My salvation happened that day. Guru milā subhkārī, abhe āve to sab kī karo, āo bhalein jag sārī, mein to unkā hū bhī kī ārī. Bolo Satguru dayā leki, anantakoṭ mahā puruṣon kī. Thodi samay me vīrān karunga, Gurudev jī kī āgyā huī, mere upara asīm kṛpā huī. There are two things in āratī: if you do standing āratī, then you will not get darśana; if you do sitting āratī, then you will not get darśana. If you do sitting Aarti, then you will not get darshan, so do like this: sit with folded hands, and those who remember the Aarti of Gurudev, they will say along. Those who don’t know the Aarti, they close their eyes or open their eyes and meditate on Gurudev. We will sit, join our hands, and pray. You all get a little apart. Turn on the lights. Who will perform the āratī? You all will sit. We will stand. Turn on the lights. Four to five of you, come and distribute the prasāda to everyone. Call someone to distribute the prasāda. See if it is there or not. It is open. Hold one person and distribute it to one person. Okay, son. That’s it. Come, Sakant ji... webcast, okay? Yeah. But there is a very good technique to keep them quiet. If someone says something to you, then you have to hit them hard. Don’t hit them so hard that they stay quiet for three, four, five days. So, who said this? Didn’t you hit them? So, right now, Swami Shantījī will speak in two languages. This camera in front of you can be seen anywhere in the world. There are about 218 countries. In 218 countries, anyone can turn on their computer anywhere. Swamiji TV. You will see immediately. Even here, if you have a computer or a mobile phone, you can sit and watch it at www.swamiji.tv. So Shantījī will speak in two languages. First, she will speak in German. Our devotees who speak only in German, for those people, and after that, Śāntī jī will give her doctorate diploma in French language. French language is very good. When they speak in the French language, even the French people will open their eyes and ears, wondering how they are speaking so well. So, Śāntī jī, the Guru Pūrṇimā message will be spoken in both languages. So you keep listening, and if someone speaks, then don’t be fooled. So now our dear Shanti ji gives the message for Guru Pūrṇimā through our webcast, which is around the world. Anywhere you can see, first she will speak in German language, 10, 15 minutes, or 20 minutes, doesn’t matter. Matter, we have the whole night after that. You all know, or maybe you don’t know, Shantijī has made her study and doctorate diploma in French language in a French school in Vienna. Her French language is so perfect, so good, that French people who... Speak the dialect. They are so surprised at how good Dr. Shanti’s French language is. So first, first she will speak in French and then in English. So, 10-15 minutes French, because in Africa, in France, in some countries like Switzerland, Quebec, Canada, Algeria, many... Countries that speak only the French language. And our message goes to all the world’s countries. I told the Indians that though our European Bhaktas don’t understand Hindi, how silent they are sitting. But these people, they are all the time talking. So I told them a technique for how to keep them silent. If someone with them is talking, you, with your nails, twist their skin. Jorse, tighty, like a cobra bite. Deep Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān kī So Sādhvī Svāmī Śāntikījī kī Friends. Dhyāna mūlam guru mūrtiḥ, pūjā mūlam guru padam, mantra mūlam guru vākyam, mokṣa mūlam guru kṛpā. Brahmānandam parama sukhadam kevalam jñāna mūrtim, dvandvātītam gagana sadṛśyam, tamāsyedyam lakṣyam ekam nityam vimalam achalam sarvadhi śākṣī bhūtam. Oṃ deepyoti para brahma deepam sarve mohanam Hello, dear friends, all around the world. I am very surprised that I have the honor to speak in French, because it’s been maybe 10 years that I haven’t spoken in French. So, excuse me if my language is not as perfect as it can be. Our good morning comes from India. Our good morning through the webcast comes from the Jadan Ashram, the largest ashram in India that Swamiji has created. Already since yesterday we celebrated here the Guru Pūrṇimā, and you know that Pūrṇimā, it means the complete, what is completely complete, and it is the opportunity to say a thank you, a very big thank you, and to give our devotion to the Master. And the Master is the Guru who leads us from the shadows to the light. And it is the day when we... It is very good if you can be with the Master. I have been with Swamiji for 34 years now, and every day with him is always a great surprise. I have received so many gifts, so many wonderful things, that I am always completely surprised and full of happiness with all the blessings that I receive. We have a difficult time right now, you all know it, and it is the time to give concentration to our sādhanā. Sādhānā is for me a very great example, and to be in love, to give love, and to do service to others, this is what is most important. And also in the Bhagavad Gītā, it is written that if you serve others, if you do karma yoga, the seva, in whatever way you want, is the fastest and simplest way for the realization of God. On this day, I also think a lot about Holī Gurujī. I had the opportunity to be with him for several years, and it was he who is the greatest bhakta that I have ever seen. Holy Gurujī made his Mālā really 24 years old. And when I was with him, we always said we couldn’t talk together because he didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Hindi. And our language was the bhajans, and it was he who taught me a lot about the bhajans. And he was a living bhajan guru, you can say. And so, I think this we should take from him. I think we can take this from Holy Gurujī. It was the greatest bhakti I have ever seen. And he gave a great example of bhakti. He repeated the mantra all day long, and he always sang the bhajans. So, if you have problems, if there are a lot of things that disturb you, that make you have problems in life, the simplest thing is to sing. Where you sing a mantra, a general mantra, or where you sing bhajans or kīrtans. So, to repeat the name of God is the best medicine to reduce all the shadows that are in our soul. And this is what Holī Gurujī always did. So the more you do, sing, and try to turn your view of the world, turn inward. Brahma satyaṁ, jagat mithyā. Never forget this. Never forget, he is the God who is the love, who is the soul. He is the God who is our love, our destiny. Try to separate from the world, and separate from the world means to enter into your soul and to see what is inside. And what is inside is the Ātmā. So you are the Ātmā, Chidānandarūpa, Śivo’ham, Śivo’ham. Even if you only sing, "Chidānandharūpa, Śivo’ham, Śivo’ham." Cidānandharūpa, Śivo’ham, Śivo’ham. Only if you sing that you are in another world, and that I wanted to tell you from here, and I give you all the love of Swāmījī in the whole world. Be good disciples, do your sādhanā, and concentrate on the love of life. And you are with us, we love you all, and we are a very big family. Happy family, a family full of hope and love. Siddīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, thank you very much. Chocolate, or? Chocolate, thank you. Thank you. Thank you for the chocolate. Okay, now, Swamiśānti jī has very well explained the importance of Guru Pūrṇimā in his French language. I will go and introduce you to him. Who is the mother? If you don’t call me mother, I will not call you mother. I will hit you with a stick. If you don’t call me mother, I will not call you mother. If you don’t call me mother, I will not call you mother. If you don’t call me mother, I will not call you mother. If you don’t call me mother, I will not call you mother. I don’t want to say mother and father, but father and mother. So, Dr. Shanti ji in French said, "The importance of Guru Pūrṇimā and Guru Pūrṇimā..." Did you give the food? Who else wants to go? Take the prasāda. Mr. Thakur, my brother is going to Kuchaman. Send the prasāda. The importance of Guru Pūrṇimā, what is Guru Pūrṇimā, and on the day of Guru Pūrṇimā, the devotee comes to his Guru and says what is the meaning of the saṅkalpa that he takes for his spiritual life, etc. And the student’s ultimate goal is self-knowledge. Like Ādi Guru Bhagwaṅ Śaṅkarācārya said, "Cidānandarūpa śivo’haṁ śivo’haṁ." In French language, Śānti jī has explained very well. And you are sitting very calmly, so his name is also Śānti. Now, Śāntī jī will give a message in German language. There are countries where only the German language is spoken. So they don’t understand English, French, or other languages. So now Shantījī will give a message in German. Now Shāntī jī will speak in German. Good. I can understand what you are speaking. I can’t understand completely, but I will try. Good? I don’t know any German, but I will try to improve. Pitta Shun. Danke. Today and also yesterday we spent a very spiritual day. This morning Swamījī performed a special pūjā for the European Bhaktas. Yesterday, there were also spiritual songs. And Swamiji is talking all day, and also yesterday, in constant effort to give blessing, and it is a wonderful atmosphere here. Thousands of people are here, and something special has happened today. This is not the first time that this has happened. That is, on Guru Pūrṇimā Day, rain, namely a strong monsoon rain, enters. I remember, I think it was two years ago, we also sat at this place in Jadan Ashram, and there was a very strong monsoon rain with wind, so all the curtains fluttered here that we had to hold them all, that was how strong it was. And even today, in the time when the evening satsaṅg has begun, the rain has also flowed down from the sky, and there has been a strong wind, and a real monsoon weather has come down. The reason I’m telling you this is not just a weather story, but this weather also always means blessings. It’s just a blessing that comes to us from the elements. And this wind comes from the Himalayas and from the north. And you know that our Siddhabābī Alakpurījī, our guru line, goes back to the seat of Alakpurījī in the Himalayas. And I see that simply as a blessing from Alakpurījī, who is invisible and is everywhere. And I see it as a sign that he is simply present, and with this wind, with this weather, in his form and also in the form of Śrī Devpurījī, gives us his blessing, and he also tells us that our life, especially as spiritual aspirants, not only does it take place in the sunshine, but we also have to go through it. The tīkṣā that we have to hold on to is that it is our task to stand through the wind, the storm, the earthquake, everything. And also, Holi Guruji is very much present for me in this ashram and also in this time. Because he lived here for many, many years. He is always present for all Karm Yogīs, for all who are here. And his radiance is noticeable everywhere. When he was still alive, he was a pole for all of us, where we could get away from each other. When you came near him, you were immediately in complete peace. And Swamijī always had this āśram in his thoughts. I met him 34 years ago, and a few years later, there was a small group. We were maybe 12 or 14 people, and one day he took us, with Kātharīnā, and made a drawing of his Om Āśram. I thought to myself at that time, he was a young Svāmī, and there was no possibility of finances there or something like that, and he drew this project, and I actually didn’t believe it. I thought, the young Swami, how does he want to realize all these things? But where there is a will, there is a way. And Swamiji simply carried out the mission of his master through all the years. He brought thousands of people to spirituality, and he built a huge āśram here, which was not for him, but for all of us. So that spirituality in India and in Europe becomes visible to all of us. And here we have a meditation hall, a hospital, a school, and this great lake of water. He himself has planned this construction for decades, and therefore his presence here in this ashram is also very strong, whether he is there or not. And now, last but not least, Matajī has also been here with us, and she too embodied the female side, Śiva and Śakti. She was a wonderful mother, a wonderful woman, and everyone she knew got to know her motherhood, her unconditional love. Kennengelernt. This place where we are now is also a great gift for all of us, and I would like to remind all of us that spirituality is the spiritual goal to keep in mind. And above all, to encourage the words of Śaṅkarācārya, to read Śaṅkarācārya’s writings, because in them it is fully and in a wonderful way described what the goal is, and which the view and the philosophy, the dogma behind the Yoga and Daily Life and Advaita philosophy is. And inside it says, in one of the stanzas, Chidānandarūpa, Śivo’ham, Śivo’ham, Chidānandarūpa, Śivo’ham, Śivo’ham. There is neither the food nor the nourished, and there is also not the master and not the scholar. Because in truth, there is only the highest cosmic consciousness, Cidānanda, Rūpa, Śivo’ham, Śivo’ham. And that is our task, through the exercises, through the sādhanā that Swāmījī has given us, to realize this goal. And your inner ānanda, the highest consciousness of blissfulness, to find and go through everything that God has given you in this life, be it storms, be it many difficulties, the only important thing is to keep the goal in mind and without looking to the right. And left, so to speak, to get started. And Swamījī has given us so many means by which we can achieve this. And we just need to follow what he has taught us. And if I may tell you a second, maybe a little one, what is wonderful to read is the twelfth chapter of the Bhagavad Gītā. At the end, it is described very precisely how we should be. Always friendly, always loving, without criticism, always satisfied. In heat or cold, in praise or blame, always be the same. And that is a wonderful chapter, and if only the last two, at the end it is described very precisely. So it is something very wonderful. And it is not important what others do. It is only important what I do. You cannot change other people; you can only change yourself. And therefore, it is important to keep our goal in mind and to do this: do good, be good, be good, be... good and do good. Siddhita Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Jai He was Swami Shanti, Dr. Shanti Ji. He was a dental surgeon, a dental specialist. He had one rule: he would not remove the teeth. He would keep the teeth as they are. He would treat them and make them strong, Dr. Shanti had one principle: not to pull teeth out, but to leave them in and repair them in such a way that they always remain good. You see my teeth? They are very good because I have known Dr. Shantījī for the last 35 years. Often we fight both. I want to pull out, and she said no. And she is taking care of the hospital in Jadon. And the Indian doctors working under him have also become experts. And people from far and wide come to Jaipur for dental treatment. Gurudev used to tell a story about a language. In the time of the British, in a small city where the British had offices, Indians used to work there too. One day was the birthday of one of the Indians. Two English officers were working there. The Indians called them in the morning for breakfast. Two people came, but one of the Englishman’s wife could not come. She said, "I will come at 10 o’clock." The English went to the office. Bhartiya asked his wife, "If madam comes now, will I stay here, or will you make breakfast for her?" So, the Marwari, who was not a good Englishman, said, "Yes, sir, you stay here." I will take care of him, I will serve him well. No one will be left without him; you stay here. So, he took the Marwari and went to the office. After half an hour, the English lady came to the door and said, "Good morning." The woman said, "Good morning." She kept thinking and thinking that she is asking for jaggery. She went to her house, ran to her house, brought some jaggery, put it on the table, and gave it to her. She said, "Eat it." That foreign lady thought that there must be some tradition of Indian people here. Guests come and give jaggery. She sat there, she sat there. So that foreign lady said, "No one said anything." So she said, "Water, sister." When I hit her, no one said anything about water. He thought about it and asked her to give him a bucket full of jaggery. She said, "Give me a bucket, sister." He said, "Give me a bucket." She said, "I don’t need a bucket." He said, "Give me a bucket." She said, "I don’t need a bucket." Later on, she said to him, "Water, sister, water." She said, "I am from Marwari." I said, give me a bucket full of jaggery. He said, "Give me a bucket full of jaggery." I asked him why he is a water sister. He said that there are a lot of people there, who will eat us? When the foreigner stood up and said that he is an idiot, and went away. What I mean to say is that when a person does not understand the language, then he becomes a waste of the earth. He did not come to us. He said, "What did your mother-in-law say to you?" Did you forget your mother-in-law? They will say, "Papa jī." Papa jī will say to them, "Those who have not been raised in hell, they are sinners." They will not say, "Cut off your sins." So if you say, Pitājī, then the one who understands our language, Mahārāj had just said that the one who understands the language, śabad sanahī mārī jātrā mārī helī śabad sanahī mārī jātrā. The one who understands my language is mine. Part 2: A Gathering of Devotion and Discourse on Guru Pūrṇimā Indra is also happy. Indra is happy, but which kingdom is bigger than Indra’s kingdom? We have Lakṣmījī. His name is Lakṣmī. I will keep Lakṣmī with me. If you need, you can give me a note. Lakṣmījī is from Italy. Which country? Italy. So in Italian, you will read the message of Guru Pūrṇimā and sing bhajans. So you have to listen to it in peace. She wants to have her bhajan book. Take from the words and give from the words. What you have to do from the words is for us. Now she will translate this bhajan into Italian and give the message of Guru Pūrṇimā in Italian. She is coming from Italy, Pardwā, Lakṣmī. Yes, Swāmījī. I send this greeting from this divine land, India, Jhadan, where I have the fortune to be on the occasion of Guru Pūrṇimā. I am very, very happy to be here with my master, Parān Swāmī Maheśvarānanda, author of the Yoga system in everyday life and a divine soul. God with us, we do not look for this. Baggiano says, "I do not want. I do not have a desire for the things of the world, of the sky, of the material things, of everyday things, of what we can." Have continuously? No, we do not look for these. We look for something more, just to cammino spirituale, quale che esso sia. For this, in these difficult times, we need a guide, and this guide we can find in various people. But above all, when we incontriamo un’anima divina, a saint, it is a blessing for all of life. So, I would like... Dividere con voi, condividere con voi questo momento di gioia, e se lo volete, anche voi potete avere questa gioia. yoga in daily life.org. C’è un angolo anche. Because God and the souls realized as Swamis are for all, for all souls, for all spiritual seekers, regardless of the religion they profess, be it Catholic, be it Hinduism, or any other. So we are not looking for, as this bhajan says, impossible things, but we are looking for the simplest things, those that come from the heart and that are possible only when God makes them possible, only when Gurudev, when a saint, with... His presence, with his example, with his infinite amore, ci dà questa possibilità. Grazie, Dania Vata Baratta Bomi. Grazie. E viva l’Italia anche. This was our Lakṣmījī from Italy. In Italian, she told us about the importance of Guru Pūrṇimā, that we are so fortunate that we saw Guru Pūrṇimā here, we saw him, we celebrated. It is very good to see the worships taking place here. It is very good in Madhura language. People who speak Spanish in South America, who speak Spanish in Spain, who speak Italian—those who understand Italian or speak Spanish also understand it. Thank you very much, Lakṣmījī. Now, we will change the language a little. Now, our Chandan Singhjī from Sandara village has come. Are you sitting or not? Chandan Singhjī is from Sandara. Now, in front of you, our one and only scholar, our very dear disciple, who is also talking about Śrīmad Bhāgavatam in this situation. He is a good person, Jyoti Bhāratī. I will give him 15 to 20 minutes. He will also present his thoughts on Guru Pūrṇimā. Come, son, give him a mic. This Kheemananji, who is sitting here, is Kheemananji’s grandson. And Kemananjī is the disciple of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Variṣṭha Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Gītā Bhāratījī of our Mahānirvāṇī Akhāḍā. He is the disciple of Gurujī, and she is the granddaughter of Kemananjī, Kemanamjī. Gurur Brahma, Gurur Viṣṇu, Gurur Deva Maheśvara, Gurur Sākṣāt Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Guruve Namaḥ. Param Pūjya Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Śrī 1008 Mādhavānandajī Mahārāja Kī, Param Pūjya Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Śrī 1008 Maheśurānandapurījī Mahārāja Kī. Sarva Bhakta Janokīja Param Ādarnīya, Prātaḥ Samarnīya, Pūjanīya, Vandanīya, Mañch Parvirājmān, Sant Mahātmāon, Evaṁ Bhakta Janon, Aur Bhāgavat Prāpti Karne Vālī Mātaon Aur Behnon, Śrīmad Bhāgavad Gītā, Yah Ek Pram Rahasya Kā Viṣay Hai. By following the scriptures and the words of the great men, I have come to this conclusion: there is no useful text in the world like the Śrīmad Bhagavad Gītā for welfare. In the Gītā, Jñāna Yoga, Dhyāna Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and all other methods have been explained. Any of them, according to their faith, interest, and capability, the human being can be blessed. And to know the truth and mystery of the above-mentioned sages and God, the great men and the high-ranking disciples in their presence, with the desire to unite with them lovingly and wholeheartedly, and to remember the meaning of the Gītā with emotion, and to make a life according to it, one should try his best. Śrīmad Bhagavad Gītā is the subject of a great mystery. This has been said by Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Candra Ānandakān to all beings for the sake of Arjuna. But only they can know the effect of this. Those who take refuge in the Lord and meditate on the Śrīmad Bhagavad Gītā, only they can experience the grace of the Lord and meditate and study the Śrīmad Bhagavad Gītā. A person who is purified and loves this holy Gītā Śāstra is free from fear and sorrows and attains Śrī Viṣṇudhām. A person who is always going to study the Gītā and lives on the path of Prāṇāyāma, all the sins committed in his previous birth and this birth will definitely be destroyed. The bath done daily in water destroys only the physical body of the human being. But the bath done once in the form of Gītā Jñāna, in the form of water, is going to destroy the human being from the body of the world. The witness, Kamalnā, who has appeared from the face of Lord Viṣṇu, does not have to be born in a virtuous world after drinking that Gītā Jñāna water. He is like a cow, like a cow, like... By the grace of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, we can understand the secret of some part of it. Those who fill their hearts with faith and devotion in love and worship Lord Śrī Bhagavad Gītā, they can experience the divine grace and enter into some part in the form of the Gītā. Therefore, it is appropriate for all women and men to consider the devotee Arjuna as their idol and to remember the Bhagavad Gītā while worshipping the divine qualities of Arjuna in themselves. They experience the grace of the Bhagavad Gītā. Shri Kṛṣṇaktan Bhagvān has said His supreme influence in a good way. It is said that the human being who takes the best time for God, his mind cannot abandon the contemplation of God even for a moment. Because the thing that the human being considers to be the best has love in it. And the one who has love in it has contemplation. Therefore, it is the main duty of all of us that, to understand the divine influence of God in a good way, we should renounce all the desires of the world, the world of demons. And take refuge in the Lord, and practice the specialty of Bhajan and Satsaṅg. Om Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Satguru Devakī Jai! Now, the person sitting next to me is a small Mahātma. His name is Devpurījī Mahārāj. Swamiji said to keep this name as our name, so he has kept this name. Now, I will tell you about the Gītā for 10 to 15 minutes. What is the actual form of the Gītā? What is the Gītā? What is in the Gītā? And I will emphasize the Pradhāna Pradhāna Śalopa Sanskrit. After that, the second chapter and the third chapter will be dedicated to our Śrī Matijarī Pūrṇimārāj. And from the time he has become a Brahmin, he has started reciting the Gītā. And from here, he will come and do his Pūrṇimārāj. Now, listen to some Parvatam in Sanskrit. Oṁ Pūrṇam Adaḥ Pūrṇam Idaṁ Pūrṇāt Pūrṇam Udacyate Pūrṇasya Pūrṇam Ādāya Pūrṇam Evāvaśiṣyate Vāsudevaṁ Sutaṁ Devaṁ Kañcanūra Madanaṁ Devakī Paramānandaṁ Kṛṣṇavande Jagadguru Om Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ... Mangala is the beginning of three times of peace, the realization of life, the realization of permanence, and liberation. Paramadānya, Pratasamānya, Pūjanya, Vandanya, Vant Parvirātmā, Sant Mahātmā, devotees, mothers and sisters, and children. Om Śrī Girī Gītā Recheta Tushāra Paramparā. Gītā is the speech of the Satsaṅg. The Gītā is the scripture in one supreme form. The Gītā is the ocean of knowledge. Geetā bhakti bhagat prāpti kā sādar hai, Geetā ko yathārth tattva jñān bhī kā hai, Geetā kī mukti sādhak kī mukti me antar hai, Geetā kā manan karnā se āpati dukh nahī hotā hai, Geetā mānī man samān karnā saktā nayan kā. Shroop hai, Geetā bhagavān kā ardhe aur samas hai. Gītā is the source of all knowledge. Gītā makes the Vedas very powerful. Gītā is the connection between Mokṣa, Jainism, and Jīvātmā, Paramātmā. The Gītā is greater than the Gaṅgā. The Gītā is greater than the Gāyatrī. The Gītā is the supreme and eternal. The Gītā is the queen of purity. The Gītā is the Vedānta. The Gītā is the Vedas. The Gītā is the Kalpavṛkṣa. The Gītā is the Svarga-Bhojana-Sanātana-Grantha. The Gītā is the greatest of all the three Gītās. Now, what is there in the Gītā? In the Gītā, there are eight Adhyāyas. The first is Arjuna Sahaja Yoga, the second is Sahaj Yoga, the third is Karma Yoga, Sotāyāna-karma-saṇyāsa-yoga, Pāchvā-karma-saṇyāsa-yoga, Chhatta-ātma-saṁ-yoga, Sātmā-yāna-vijāna-yoga, Ātmā-akṣa-brahma-yoga, Nambā-rāja-vijā-rāja-gavitam-yoga, Dasvā-bhiviti-yoga, Yārvā-viśvarūpa-darśana-yoga, 12. 14. Guṇatra Vargya Yoga, 15. Puruṣottama Yoga, 16. Deva Suśruta Vargya Yoga, 17. Siddhārtha Vargya Yoga, 18. Mokṣa Sannyāsa Yoga. In the Gītā, there are 18 chapters. In the Gītā, there are 700 verses. The 1st verse is of Sañjaya, the 41st verse is of Sañjaya, the 84th verse is of Śrī Arjuna, 597 verses are of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, 597 verses are of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and a total of 700 verses. In the Gītā, there are three Kāṇḍas: Karma-Kāṇḍa, Upāsanā-Kāṇḍa, and Jñāna-Kāṇḍa. In the Gītā, there are two Bhāgas, Mantra-Bhāga and Brahma-Bhāga. Oh Brahmadbhav, in the Gītā there is Atara Yoga, in the Gītā there is Brahmajñāna, in the Gītā there is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Candrachārya Bhagavān and Arjuna’s samādhi, in the Gītā there is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Candrachārya Bhagavān’s name, in the Gītā there is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Candrachārya Bhagavān’s name. This is the name of Arjuna. In the name of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Sambandhan, and Bhagavān, the words written by the Mokṣa Mahāsāya, in the name of Śrī Śabdī, Rocāgni, in the name of Jok, Guj, Bijat, Mātā, Brahmī, in the name of Mokṣa, Satandar, Sādhan, In the name of Mahān, Patiṣṭha, Putra, Nitya, in the name of Śrī Śabdhi, Rochāgni, Jitāyam bhaṭṭāyu sadhlokum urtasam mahātra ka jikaar hai. Kyunki hai na, toh śrī prasoh se ājñā āgā hai, dā sahār ko dene vālā hai. He is not going to do anything, he is not going to do anything, he is not going to do anything. That’s why, hey Arjun, don’t get the śānta. This is not worthy for you. But then, you go and tell the santa, and stand up for the war. Then Śrī Arjuna said, "Hey Madhusūdana, I am the son of Viṣṇu in this land, and how will I fight with Droṇācārya’s father?" Because both of them did not come to worship in Madhusūdana. That’s why, by killing Hanuman, I don’t even know what to do for myself, or I don’t even know if I will win or they will win. I don’t even want to live by killing them. They are standing in front of me. That is why I am asking you, whatever you want to be, be it the means of welfare, be it for me, because I am your disciple. That is why, in your refuge, teach me something. Because I do not see that I do not see that... I do. Arjun was his brother, but Arjun, who was from the right-wing, left-wing, right-wing, left-wing, left-wing,... left-wing. In the past, there was no king, no king,... no king,... no, and Satkā Bhāvanī. Both of these have been seen by the Tattva Jñānī Puruṣa Uddāra. According to this Ṛṣi, if the Nāśa is there, then it is known that the one from whom there is complete knowledge, that there is no power to destroy this destruction. And if the Nāsa is there, then it is said that all the three Nāśvānas of the Nitya Jīvātmā are there. This soul cannot be burned, nor can it be wet, nor can it be dried, because the soul cannot be burned by fire, cannot be wet by water, cannot be dried by air, because the soul is the third, because the soul is. Tata Aam Hilewe Se Mehji Buddhi Ko Mohi Shri Karte Aayin. That is why I have said one thing: I will get the blessings from whom I will get the blessings from whom I will get the blessings from whom I will get the blessings from whom I will get the blessings from whom I will get the blessings from whom I will get the blessings. Blessings from whom I will get the blessings? From whom I will get the blessings? From whom I will get the blessings?... Blessings from whom I will get? Blessings from whom I will get?... Blessings from whom I will get? Blessings from whom I will get?... Bāhogya apna roop, yag ka prem ka bandhan toddo. neechay gire, uske liye pirse chado." Ho gaana peera vaag man geeta padho, geeta padho. De gyaan jyoti baarti, jan bandhan tarti, sab bhakt milkar prem se utaaro bharti. Om shanti, shanti, shanti. I am also very fortunate. There were many more people who came, but due to the words of Anbal Gopal, we have to worship Swamiji. We also have to take the Dīkṣā there. That is why we go to Swāmījī’s Āśram. So from there, we have been doing a lot since two days. We have come. Now, today is Guru Pūrṇimā. And it is a very successful day. You people are very fortunate. You people have done a very good job before. You are sitting in such a satsaṅg. In this kind of satsaṅg, you are sitting, and you are taking advantage of Pūrṇimā. What is the meaning of Guru and Pūrṇimā? What is the meaning of Guru? The meaning of Guru is to make us attain knowledge through ignorance. What is the meaning of Pūrṇimā? In Pūrṇimā, it is said that just like the sun and the moon have the same shape, it is called Pūrṇimā. In Pūrṇimā, it is said that the sun and the moon have the same shape. Both are the same thing. This is called Puṇ. And why is this celebrated in the month of Āṣāḍha? There are many Pūrṇimās. There is Āśravan, Bahādur, Asad, Kātī, Meksar, Phutma, Fagan, Chait, Paisag, Jit. There are many Pūrṇimās. There are twelve Pūrṇimās. Why is this celebrated in the month of Āṣāḍh? The meaning of saying is that when we sow seeds in the field, they put it in the rain, and in this very Asadvindā, its fruit increases a lot. In the same way, in the heart of the Guru, Gurū Mahārāj, in the heart of the disciple, the knowledge that he puts in, it grows a lot and spreads a lot. It grows a lot. We are very fortunate. Swami Mahābhārata Nānjī, who was the Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar of the Param Pūjya Hindu Empire, his disciple is our Swami Mahiśraṇa Nānjī, Viśva Guru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar. This is happening in the whole of India, in the whole of the world, by playing the drums and by praising the elders. Today, in 150 to 150 foreign countries, your propaganda is going on. And I am very thankful to you. I also live in Bombay a lot. Whenever there is a paper of Swamijī, I definitely give a message. Swamiji, your paper says that he has come like this. And we will not talk much about it. Now, our next work will be requested by our Swamiji, and he will explain it to you. Thank you very much. Since the birth of Mātajī, since then these two children have completed the 18th chapter of the Gītā. The Jyoti Bharati who is sitting in our land is the disciple of our Swamijī. And he has completed the 18th chapter of the Gītā in Hindi. He is fully familiar with the words of Sanskrit. All over India, they also promote the Gītā. Especially, we live in Bombay. And they are promoting the Gītā there. They are ready to promote the Gītā there. Such small children are doing Gītā. By the grace of our Swāmījī, by his blessings, all this work is being done. And we are thankful that you have come to see us. And you have got the opportunity to gain so much knowledge. Om Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī, Deveśvar Mahādev Kī, Dharma Samrāṭ Satguru Svāmī Madhavān Jī Bhagavān Kī, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī. Our two new Deepak youths, Jyoti Bharti and his younger brother Deepak Bharti, How well these two young Bāla Gopāl saints have explained Gītā in a contest. It is a great thing. Today’s children don’t even know the ABCD, they don’t even know a single Hindi song. Because these children did not get a cultured mother and father. These children are not called mother and father; they are called father and mother. One is Pramātmā, he is the form of Pramātmā, and the other is Jīvātmā. The combination of ātmā and anātmā is called jīva, jīvātmā. And when that Jīvātmā enters any body on this earth, on this earth,... on They are called Papa Ātmā. So, in Vyākaraṇa Sanskrit, Papa is the one who does not get a place in hell. Even for hell, he has to stand in the waiting list. If your parents do not know Hindi at all, only know English, if you call your father or mother, then there is no harm. But in English, it is called blackmailing. That blackmailing is done by the conscious or the subconscious mind. Your children are abusing you. And that abuse will one day take on a positive form. He said, "O Papa, you will not find a place in hell." And now he used to say to all the living beings, "Hi, dead, you are already dead." And the dead body of Māmī was lying on the ground for a few days, and then it bloomed and was called Mām. So today, the people of Tabarthari say, "Mam, hi Mam." Why do you call your mother with such words? Why do you blame your parents for giving birth to you? Nowadays, parents are saying, "Why are you doing this to me?" If you are not doing this to anyone, then at least you gave birth to me. You are doing so much work, why are you making me a sinner? That is why, see, the Muslims will never call their mother and father. Their children will never call them. Every Muslim’s child will read the Quran and will wake up in the morning and pray. Does your child wake up in the morning and read Anumān Chalī? Does your child read one chapter of the Gītā? Which takes 10–15 minutes or 5 minutes? Does your child wake up in the morning and chant the mantra of Gāyatrī five times? Gayatri doesn’t even know how to read completely. He only knows which television and cinema actors are there and who are not. He is a hero or heroine. He remembers that name. How many Ṛṣis are there? We don’t know that. In the Gītā, there are Arjuna, Bhīma, these five Pāṇḍavas, Duryodhana, their father. In so many Gītās, there are Pitāmā Bhīṣma, Draupadī, etc. Today’s children don’t remember names at all, because the child who calls you a sinner, you also call him Pintu or Dintu or Tittu. Tittu is called Chidkli or Tittu. Chidkli is not called Bittu, it is called Kachro or Tatti. The one who is called Papa, you are called Tittu. This is how it is. The sinner is called Titta. The son is called Gita. In the second birth, it is called the Gītā. There is no son. Why do we spoil our religion and culture? Today, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Pūrṇimā, take the conclusion that my children will call me only mother and father. If you have the strength, why should I clap? I have blown the pigeon. If you have the strength, if you have the strength to become a father, and if he is your son, then teach him that I am your father and I am not your sinner. But if you don’t have the strength, then why? It is said that Kṛṣṇa is known as Gītā, and the mother is known as the father. So teach the child to call the father and mother. Nowadays, it is said that aunty or any other aunty, if there is no aunty, then have tea. That aunty, and aunty means that. So, do you have a sister-in-law or a sister-in-law? Or do you have a mother-in-law? Who is she? Why did she make an aunty? Our culture connects; it doesn’t break. Our culture says that even if it is a mother, even if it is a woman whom we have never seen, we will call her a mother. So the relationship between mother and daughter is very important. If we call a little girl a daughter, then the relationship between mother and daughter will remain peaceful in our society. Nowadays, there is only one word that is used, that is "Madam." There is no meaning of "Madam." Madam says, "Do business." Madam says, "Get married." Madam says, "Get married." There is no connection between them. Our culture connects and does not break. So, friends, look at these small children. He must have practiced a lot, and I am very thankful to his grandfather, Khemānandjī. Part 3: A Great Puruṣārthī He is a great puruṣārthī. He lived a long life. He used to stand on his feet and sweat blood to run his work. He used to work in Ahmedabad, in Meel. He used to go to satsaṅg, serve Gurujī, read the Gītā and books, and practice Vedānta. He is a very good speaker. If you say Vedāntācārya, he is also very good. Vedānta is also known as Keśarī. So, Khemānand Jī has made these two small-eyed children practice very well. In the future, they will work for our country, for Sanātana Dharma, as a protective shield. Thank you very much for this, Sādhuvaad. Because the children of our school will also jump. They will also come and speak in Sanskrit. I don’t know which scripture will start speaking that it is of the Vedas. So sit quietly. Tomorrow will not be your turn. Now bow and go to sleep. Om Śānti Śānti... They, but they are my, they are matter deep night, day deep not, and but one key J deep not, and by the law that he that not, and by the law that he that not, and by the law that he, but I’m in the measure, and, you know, I did he. In the review, both them, him, and you are out. The key whole now? Now we have sung the glory of Guru Pūrṇimā in French, Italian, German, Hindi, Marwari, and many other languages. Today, English has become the most popular language in the world. And my students are waiting in at least 218 countries in the world, so I should also give them some blessings in the English language for Guru Pūrṇimā. So you sit quietly, and those who want to go can get up and go. Those who want to sleep, go to the garden and sleep. It is raining coldly; you will be happy. And those who want to eat, go there, or else sit quietly. Something little in English, okay? Oh, bless itself, dear spiritual seekers, practitioners of spirituality and yoga, and their life brothers and sisters round the world. This blessing is coming to you from the Holy Land, Bhārat, Jādoṇ, Rājasthān. You have been listening to the Guru Pūrṇimā message first from our dear Swāmī Dr. Śāntījī in French language and in German language. After that, you heard our dear sister Lakṣmī from Pardua, Italy, and she spoke in Italian. Then you heard these two young kids who spoke very nicely about the Bhagavad Gītā. Today is that day, today is that time, today, that satsaṅg, which we were waiting for one year, means to celebrate, to experience, to witness the celebration of the Guru Pūrṇimā. The meaning of the Guru Pūrṇimā, Pūrṇa means the completeness. Whatever comes from the complete is complete. What remains, that is also complete. Similarly, that Completeness, Pūrṇimā, and Mā means the Mother, that Cosmic Mother, the Universal Mother, that Cosmic Consciousness, the Mūla Prakṛti, the Śakti, the Universal Mother, Ananta, Ananta Brahmāṇḍa Śāstra Sūrya, in that endless universe where there are thousands of the sun systems, That ānanda, that space is mother, and that is a purāṇa, that is a completeness, and that is why it is called Pūrṇimā. Now, this aim of the celebration of the Guru Pūrṇimā means also to achieve the completeness, to become one with the cosmic mother, to become one with the cosmic self, to realize the oneness; that’s called Brahman. Eko Brahma Dutyanasti, only the supreme reality, the supreme truth, the supreme, that is called the Brahman. Where the two is the duality, what is changeable is not reality, and what is not changing, that is the reality. Eternal, everlasting, that is the Cosmic Consciousness, that is the Pūrṇa. Blessed are they who can be today with their Master, with their Gurudev. Lucky are they, though they are not physically together, but in their thinking, in their feelings, in their meditation, in their sādhanās, they are with their Gurudev who is doing the Mānasik Pūjā today. And the lost are they, unlucky are they. Who don’t know that, even don’t know today’s Guru Pūrṇimā. Even they don’t know what their mantra is. Even they don’t know where their Gurudev is. They do not know still what is the Master, what is Guru Tattva, and what is disciple Tattva. Right side from me, in white dress, one Swamījī sitting here, Nārasiṅhda Jī Mahārāj, wonderfully, very nicely he explained the two in one, and that’s called śiṣya or guru, the disciple and the master. In reality, there is no duality between them. Bodies are separate, too. But in reality, they are the one Ātmā in oneness. You should be in the company of that sādhu who is a nirmala. Nirmal, mal means impurities, and nirmal means purities. Those who have negative thinking, negative words, ego, jealousy, hate, conflict, and so on, that is a negative one. Nirmal is like pure, clean water. When you go to pure, clean water, and you have a dirty body and dirty dress, you will clean that, and that water will give you the purification, the cleanness. Nirmala. So saṅgat kiye nirmalā sādhurī, mari helī. You should always accompany such a person who is nirmala, who is pure: pure thinking, pure behavior, pure thoughts, divine thoughts, divine actions. That’s very important. So Guru Pūrṇimā is that one which gives you the divine light. My dear brothers and sisters, remain, stay, watch the webcast. Whole night there will be beautiful bhajans. You will listen to such bhajans which you have never heard before. And especially these bhajans are beautiful Rajasthani melody, Rajasthani bhajans. I can tell you that after some decades, these bhajans will disappear. Because all people are singing the film melodies, like cinema, like videos, like this and that. These melodies, these bhajans, very rare people will be able to sing. Enjoy, enjoy. Bless you, and I will see you again. Wish you a happy, happy Guru Pūrṇimā, and bless you in the name of Om Śrī Alak Purījī Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā, Devādhi Deva, Svayaṃbho, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī, and our Divine Holy Gurujī, His Holiness Svāmī Madhavānjī Mahārāj, and many others. Here we will sing bhajans, so welcome to our satsaṅg. There will also be our foreign disciples who are sitting here. Hundreds of them, who travel from far distances, will also sing bhajans and speak something. So, I would like to invite someone to speak in ex-Yugoslavian language here, and that is one of our disciples, I think. Who will come? Who will speak a little about Guru Pūrṇimā? Okay, the Sādhvī Sāvitrī will come and speak. Bring it here. Now, in front of you is Slovenia, which was once a very big country whose name was Yugoslavia. And that Yugoslavia was divided into seven parts, and one part of it is called Slovenia. All of them understand the language very well. Sādhvī Sāvitrī knows Italian, German, English, Slovenian, and Kārviṣān. She doesn’t know anything else. Even then, she will speak something or the other. Good day to all those who are watching TV with you on this special day, Guru Pūrṇimā Day. Guru Pūrṇimā is a day when we have completed one year, the year of our sādhanā, and we come from different parts of the world to our Guru Deva, to our teacher. Of course, if we are blessed enough to be able to do that, and even if we come just in one or two days as bhakta, as students, as those who give their gardens, their gardens, annual gardens. And of course, this is another day when we start and set our new saṅkalpa for the next year, that we will do the whole next year what Gurudev says, what Guru Vākya says. And this is not only what we do—meditation, āsanas, prāṇāyāmas, our own techniques—but also in everyday life, in our relationships, at work, in family. This is, in fact, the true yoga in everyday life. All of us who came here on a physical level, from different parts of the world, we are actually passers-by. On our way to Jadana, we went through a lot of ups and downs and came to a goal. Today, it has been said a lot about what is the goal of Guru Pūrṇimā. Swamiji just now spoke about the fact that one of the goals is that the śiṣya and the teacher are one in the paramātmā, although they are different bodies. And because of that, today I would like to wish everyone a happy, blessed Guru Pūrṇimā. Here in Jadana, we are blessed twice, three times, that we are here, that we are in the society of saints and Gurudevas, and that in fact it is raining. That is one of the greatest happinesses here now, we are all very happy. I wish you a lot of health—mental, physical, social, and spiritual—in the next year, da So the Sādhvī Sāvitrī will continue to speak a little later. Now we will have some bhajan, otherwise people will be more nervous. Okay, thank you. Yes, bhajan, bhajan gāne vāle, bhajan start karo. Ya toh idhar aajao, bhaja, can they sit here and sing? Haan? Vata thik cinema koni jaayi. Vata cinema aayi. Is he okay for you? Hata avara. Share? Chitta? Chitta? God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. God bless you all. Yes, yes. Hello, hello. Come here for bhajan. Hello, those who are going to play dholak and majre, those who are going to play bhajan, all of them are playing on the stage. Hello, those who want to take the prasāda, they should reach the paṇḍal as soon as possible, then the paṇḍal will be closed. Those who want to take the prasāda, immediately go to the paṇḍal bhojanśālā and take the prasāda. Guru Govind Dev Nukhde Kiske Lagun Paaha, Balhari Garu Aapne To Govind Diyo Mila. When will we get this opportunity and time? It is a big mistake to earn with our hands in this time. Say, O Lord, what is the name of the Lord? Jai Rām, Jai Rām, Jai Jai Rām. The call should be so strong that the devotee who is sleeping should also wake up. If he does not wake up, who will talk to him? Say, it is a crowd. Shri Maheshwaranand Ji Maharaj Ki, today the sun has not risen, it has risen slowly. First of all, I would like to greet all the devotees of Brahma Niṣṭha, Brahma Śrotri, Pramā Pūjanī, Mahārāj Śrī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Maheśvarānand Jī Mahārāj, from all the four corners of the world. I would like to bow to all the devotees of satsaṅg who have come here today. By the way, today, exactly two and a half years ago, I was inspired by Bāpujī’s bhajan, but if I go out for two days, the book will remain at home. I go out and visit the ṛṣi again and again for two days. Even then, if I remember one or two bhajans correctly, I will tell you. Understand that Bāpujī is the one who has made it. Because without inspiration, without experience, bhajans are not made. If someone wants to combine poetry with music, then so be it. But with meaning, because every body has four types of meaning: truth, consciousness, emotion, and consciousness. If all of them are not combined, then poetry is incomplete. That body is incomplete, so this cannot be done without experience. And without Mahāpuruṣa, poetry cannot be made. There are many poets in today’s world who make poetry. I say to them, these beautiful old poems, tell me, tell me, it is a very big thing to make. So, first of all, I would like to present the bhajan of Guru Vandana to all of you. Because today is a very auspicious time. In 12 months, all of you should go to the temple on Guru Pūrṇimā. For the devotees of the Guru, there is no need to go to the Aakaśī temple. And for the sister, there is no need to go to the Rākhī temple. And for the devotees of the Guru, 12 months of Kīvaḍā, Pāp, Akram. If I want to wash, I can do it in one day, but the mind should be at the feet of the Lord. If I take a nap, it is better to say that the sin is washed away. One thought is bound in the bondage, O Jīva. He does not let go of his strength, but leaves the true Guru. The true Guru is bound by the bondage, and he is the one who does not know how to break the bondage. He is the one who does not know how to break the bondage, and he is the one who does not know how to break the bondage. Śodhā ghar śānta mile, isra sāth le moh. Sat deep nava khaṇḍ me, śat gurū dhārī. Dhor dhor pakaḍ āve nahī̃, vo reyo dhor ro. Reyo dhor ro, answer dhor dār āno chijī nahī̃. Dhor pakaḍ āve nahī̃, vo reyo dhor ro. Answer āno chījī nahī. So Guru Vandana Rao, bhajan hai aur hajri sab horī pakkī lāg jā vailā, par sartā ek hai ki apan sabhī milne gāon lāto. Aage main gaon, vaith kadi aap logon ne dhoramni pāchī. Hai manjur, Guru Bhaktaon, apan sab? Hai manjur? Sabhi gaon la? Haan, nahī̃, gā̃v tamār ko hilī, main to amar buhujā. Ek maik, Bābajī ek maik, aur nirvāṇ, hatī hatī gāl. Niyo doi hati gaal la. Niyo to sabhi Bhakta gaon la. This is a very simple thing, but it has a very big meaning and feeling. My Gurudev, close your eyes again and again. My Gurudev, close your eyes again and again. Now, this should come everywhere. If you are a Guru-Mukhi, don’t be shy, and even if you feel shy, close your eyes. In Guru Bhakti, if we keep doing it, we will be able to go to the Ghat, we will be able to walk, we will be able to walk, we will be able to walk. All of you say it, and loudly, and with applause, because applause and words are in harmony. Bhaar Bhaar Vandha Jaan Mere Gurudev Ko, Bhaar Bhaar Vandhnaa Tumahī Mere Brahmā Ho, Tumahī Mere Viṣṇu. Tumahī Mere Brahmā Ho, Tumahī Mere Viṣṇu. Maheśa Vāśaṅkare Ho Guru Deva, Pāke Caraṇame Vara Vara Vandana. Mere Guru Deva Ko Vara Vandana, Satguru Svāmī Antaryāmī. Gurudev, kyunka Bhagavān aur Sant mein antara nahī̃ hai, Guru aur Paramātmā mein koī bhed nahī̃, koī antara nahī̃ hai, ab āp āp rī bāda sab samajh dalo. Guru Śambhadeva is none other than the Guru Śambhadeva. Guru Śambhadeva is none other than the Guru Śambhadeva. The feet of Kamal, the feet of Pūjā, the feet of Adham, the feet of Odhāraṇ, I bow to them again and again. My Guru Devajī, I bow to him again and again. I bow to him again and again. A thousand times I bow to him. Iṁ Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān ko vāhar vāhar vandanā. Svāmī Mādhvānanda ko vāhar vāhar vandanā. Svāmī Maheśvarānandajī ko vāhar vāhar vandanā. Vandana, ha jār vahar vandana. I request you to keep your hands up and sing loudly. Śrī Sadguru Jī Mahārāj Jī Kī Vara Jeevanārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī, Vara Svāmī Śrī Māheś Rannan Jī Mahārāj Jī Kī. Raise your hands if you feel good. But if you are tired, you can join your hands and bow. Vara Ṣaḍguru Jī Mahārāj Jī Kī. Some people wake up in the middle of the night. One or two days they wake up. One year they wake up. Some years pass, no one will go. Even if you do anything, even if Brahmā jī does not come himself, then what is he doing? He is doing it for his stomach. One small bhajan in this way, and you can also sing these bhajans together. It is a very beautiful speech, and there is nāman in it, and there is also the yaśa-kīrti of Gurū Mahārāj. And if we do nāman, yaś, kīrti, prajā, that is bliss, and that is how we can be good, and we can’t be good like this. Koi ek jaan sakhe ek Gokul gām ko, geh loi nyāro sundar. Neither because of caste, nor because of small or big, nor because of big or small. Because if there is a caste, then there is no Śivrī. And what is their form? If someone sees a tower in the darkness, then he gets scared. But if a thousand sages, sages, and sages meditate, then God will not go first, but Śivrī will go first. Bhakti hī aur uṭhā jān jūṭā būr khāyā. Toh vo prema aaj āpam honā chāhiye. Hai, o aaj bhi Kṛṣṇa ke avatārī hai. In the name of the Lord, I say, do not go to Iraq, do not go, do not go,... do not go. It is not difficult, but it is difficult. So what should we do? Everyone should be able to express their feelings, their mind, their conscience. Who can do it? Gurū Mahārāj. So what should we do for Gurū Mahārāj? We should be able to do it. Brahmā Nānak Jī wrote a very beautiful thing. God bless you, God bless you,... God bless you. In the ocean of clouds, the shore is not getting submerged. Guru Caraṇa Kamala Baliyārī. I have been robbed of my greed and anger. I have been robbed of my greed and anger. I have been robbed of my greed and anger. Gurū caraṇa kamala baliyāṅ, mare mana kī mamatā hamārī re. Guru, tell me about the Guru of the Jogya Yuga. Guru, tell me about the Guru of God bless you. I pray to all my devotees, I am Bābājī, that Bābājī, Śrī Mukhsum, Śrī Mukhsum,... Please give me your blessings and benefit all of us. Pappāyū, I have only one or two things to say. Bapujī has ordered me to say one or two more things. And I will not forget your name. You know everything. You have said that Pāppāyū means brain. In reality, if there is no separation without the brain, then there is no knowledge, and if there is no knowledge, then there is no salvation. In the beginning, we should only think about the brain. How much should we yearn to meet our Guru? How much should we be free from our thoughts? For example, if there is a sick person, he cannot forget his illness and pain for a minute. This much pain should be there, and it always comes that one day, or two days, or one month, not a day, but a day and a half, or a month and a half, then only the pain will be gone. That is the body of the mind. To meet God, to meet our Guru, there should be passion and yearning in the mind. Baba Atmihranbhai wrote that those who have a very low and low weight, the first elders used to sing like this when they woke up. We have not become new today. These are not the songs of the elders. Jeeva, Jeeva,... Jeeva. Sadguru, now that the summer is in full bloom, without you, my eyes are filled with tears. My eyes are filled with tears; I cry. My eyes are filled with tears; my eyes are covered with pearls. Without you, there is no one in this world. Śraddhā guru thevalyā vedho. Hey Pāpāyā, what is this new thing? Hey Papaya, don’t say bad words. Pray to the Lord. I will write to my husband that you are a bird’s nest. I will write to my husband that you are a bird’s nest. I love you, my dear, my dear,... my dear,... my dear, my dear. God bless you. God bless you. Piyari mat bol, Te sanātan dharma ki, Meera bhai di kyo? If you call me Peev Peev and meet my Peev, then I will make you Nihal. I will not sleep in the evening. You are my fresh and fresh papaya. Don’t call me Peev Peev. This should be in your mind. This should be in your mind. And this should be in your mind. Those who are born without any attachment, those who are born without any attachment, those who are born without any attachment, those who are born without any attachment, those who are born without any attachment, those who are born without any attachment, those who... We are born without any attachment. Today is Guru Pūrṇimā, and it is a very beautiful occasion. It is a very good time. Let us see Guru Mahāraj, let us listen to Guru Mahāraj’s pravacan, so that we can go back and forth and get rid of our sins. With this feeling, we will stay at home. But after coming back, the feeling will change. Not everyone will remain, but many devotees will remain. So understand that we have to stay at home. When we come back, we will come close to God. And now, if there is pure emotion, love, attachment, and yearning, then you will attain God, or else it will be difficult. The next day, I went to a shop and saw a girl who was about to give birth. She was a loafer. She used to take Rs. 500–1000 from the house every day. She used to come to the house to do household chores. She used to do household chores every day. The shopkeeper came and said, "Brother, let me tell you something. If I die, take my flower and send it to Gaṅgājī Chhotrā." Why did I trust her? She was a loafer. I used to ask for Rs. 5000 on the way. One day, at the end of the day, they came. The children said, "I will go to Gaṅgājī." The other one said, "I have not seen you for years." He said, "No, I will kill you. I will kill you. I will take my son." I will take Ali from you. He said, "I will take him for Rs. 50,000. I will take flowers from him." He said, "I will go to Ajmer." I will eat grass. He threw the flowers out of the car. He came back home. He took the village ticket. On the second day, the elder brother said, "Brother, did you go to Gaṅgājī?" He came back in the middle. Why? He said, "No, what have you done? I have come to the field." He said, "Who is it?" The elder brother said, "I came in the night in a dream." I was sleeping in a dream. The mother herself came and said, "Brother, I have to leave it in the field. There is no one in the field." He said, "If you come in the field, I will leave it in the field." I came back. The mother came and said, "If you come in the field, you will make a mistake." Why did you come back in the field? You have to go ahead. The field is very far. I will come to you very soon. And now, there is only one way. I have to go far away. If there is love, if there is marriage, then may God grant it. Otherwise, I will go away slowly. O Sadgurujī Mahārāj, what is it? Speak with love, O Lord of the Light. What is it? O Śrī Madhavānandjī Mahārāj, what is it? O Maheśvarānandjī Mahārāj, what is it? Pyaathum pivu pivu matavol. Achha, kavi buya ashant biya unho pato. Brahmachari milo, brahmachari aasi milo, chai milo, udasi dehi se hamko kaam nahi. Ham chaate shant brahma prakasi. Aur nahī, citta cāvat hai, mānabhāvat hai, śānta brahma vilāsī nṛpama. Don’t say that if you meet such a saint, you will be hanged for eighty-four years. Recognize the word of the Lord. You will meet such a saint who has done the work of the Guru. In the whole world, there is a big thing: the day is the day, and the night is the night. Japa hai dini aur raat kamai laga aachi. Ya to mukt hoja wasi, ya min kade milsi paachi. Bade gharan mein janam si jo ne ghana jodsi aat. Manwa bhanet ram bhan, aur anai ram bhanan. Jina mukh Rām nām nām nikalai, tā mukh tohk dhada. Jina mukh sun Rām nām nām nikalai, jina Tohk kā we tālaī nahī̃. Jinī zindagī meṁ Rām nām nahī̃ nikalai, unnī zindagī rah toh bhale yā ek śapath thī pave. Nua laga to jīke kai der to chup rahī, kyon dujī bāta to nahī̃ kare pīvadhī parṇa basyā pardesam? Kisi bhī dhanu māna dhīra, pīvadhī parṇa basyā pardesam. There is no such thing as a foreign religion. There is no such thing as a country that has won in the world. The country of saints is different from everyone else. Mananāth Jī has written in one place. So, the country of saints is not the same. So, what is that country? Where there is no earth, no sky, no sun, and there are millions of lights. That is the country of saints. It is like this. Pīvadī parṇa basyā pardesōṁ, kisvid dhāru manadīr. Breha lāgaye pāye koī pyālo. Gayā māro kaḍe jo cīre re pāpaiyā. God bless you. The flesh has melted, the bones have remained, the body is in a bad state. Why don’t you come, my beloved? Oh, my dear, my dear,... my dear,... my dear. God bless you. Oh, my beloved, my beloved,... My beloved, my beloved, my beloved. God bless you. He is the one who plays the flute and plays the samba. He is the one who unites himself and all of us. He is the one who does not distinguish between himself and all of us. He is the one who unites himself and all of us. He is the one who unites himself and all of us. He is the one who unites himself and all of us.... Kalyāṇ kare, in this way the saint is always a parmārthī. Tārvar sarvār sant dhan choto bharase mehe, paramārthare kāraṇai taro’ī dharī, hai mām bhāgra bhalād badehī dharī jagadīvai kāraṇa le avatāra, maṅgal pār kara bhau sāgratār ganhe śakya śakyārā. One śabad of Gurudev, see which saint is there in Marwāḍ. Even then we are not conscious. This is written by Khariā Rastan, Maṅgalgirījī Mahārāj, Khariā Mithā Mahārāj. From the beginning, it is said that Ganeśa Giri Jī Mahārāj is the one who wrote this. I am very fortunate that I have been able to do all these things. I am very fortunate that I have been able to cross the Maṅgal and reach the ocean. I am very fortunate that I have been able to do all these things. I am very fortunate that I have been able to cross the Maṅgal and reach the ocean. India used to be the Guru of the world, and today it is the Guru of the world. However, the important thing is that no matter how much a foreign devotee is listening to dhyāna and listening to love, we are taking a lot of love and sleep. We have seen the culture, and these people have achieved it. They have united the Jeeva and Brahma; they have attained salvation. We are very fortunate that this Mahāpuruṣa, who is the Guru of the world, has given us such a great fortune in Marwad, but still we are not aware of it. In Zahra Janmara, Sagram Daji has written, he said, "Sant Sagaram, how is your bhajan?" He said, "Oh, you sinner, let me tell you." Let me tell you such and such, brother. Either your father is dead or your mother is asleep. In between these two, the mind is lost. He said, "Sant Sāgaram, how is your bhajan?" He said, "Sant Sāgaram, this bhajan is very bad." This is a sin. What did he say? A long stick in the hand. A long stick in the hand does not come forward. If you are afraid of what you will get in the future, then you will say, "What will I earn in the future? What will I earn in the future?" It is a completely different story. What will I earn in the future? It is said that Sant Śaṅkara is the source of the body of the body. Come, my beloved, let’s go to sleep. Come, my beloved, let’s go to sleep.... I have died in the sleep. Ayy, jagoon toh jate nah kare, di hoti sate sej me marie li. Jagoon toh jate nah kare, jat jagoon jate ek li ehli. Roye roye roo de maari ehli, kaalo piyaare de. Piyā dī binā to maro prān paḍelī, jal binā me ne mare. Koī to batā do marā asyā mainī jelī. In the name of the Lord, I bow to you. I bow to you in the name of the Lord. I bow to you in the name of the Lord. I bow to you in the name of the Lord. I bow to you in the name of the Lord.... I will not be able to cross the river. I will not be able to cross the river.... I will not be able to cross the river. In the middle of the road, in the thornbush, in the thornbush,... in the thornbush. Bado sundar eva na aare maro jago re jago. Jago re maro bhagya pura bello jago. Jago re jago jago re maro bhagya pura bello jago. Jago re jago jago re bhagya pura bello jago. My true guru taught me the knowledge of the true guru. He taught me the knowledge of the true guru. He taught me the knowledge of the true guru.... When my karmas are gone, my fate will come back to me. Wake up, wake up,... my fate will come back to me. Wake up, wake up,... my fate will come back to me. I have put myself in the form of a soul, that’s why I am happy. I have put myself in the form of a soul, that’s why I am happy. O bhūt bharam ro bhāgo, o bhūt bharam ro bhāgo,... O bhūt bhāgo, o bhūt bhāgo,... o Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Wake up! Wake up!... Now you have gone to 217 countries, and still your life is going on, no problem, no problem. The singers are very good. Good evening and good morning in India, in Australia, in Asia, it’s good morning already. And other parts of the world, good evening. As you have listened, you have seen, you have heard many beautiful bhajans. All as a glory of Gurudev, the glory of Guru Pūrṇimā. Many bhajans’ meanings you know. Bhajans where there is teaching, questions, answers, spirituality, and the name of the Divine. Such a satsaṅg is the inspiration in life. There are different kinds of souls, different kinds of seekers. For some, it’s boring, the singing of spiritual songs, bhajans. Some like it for a while, and then it disappears. And some like it so much that they become one with that environment. Doesn’t matter what it is, they remain, they listen. They feel in their heart the thirst for divine love and wisdom. And the source of that divine love is with God. As much as you receive, the more you ask for. There is never an end. If there is an end, then it means you lost the path. It means the trade is broken, the trade is broken, and your progress is stopped. There were a few bhajans we sang this evening which you heard before, and those bhajans are known as Virahānī. Virahani means that burning desire, constantly burning desires for God realization or the fulfillment of that inner longing. A seeker, an aspirant, a practitioner, or a spiritual soul, it doesn’t matter what time, day or night, if one hears the name of God or Gurudev, one becomes completely aware, alert, conscious. Each spiritual thought, the spiritual words, or music is like the drops of rain on the drying crops. That such a person is a saint, a holy person. Does it matter if leading a family life, a profession, or just preaching? It’s not a physical matter. It is very subtle, very divine, and beyond our imagination, beyond our explanation, indescribable. Such as all is coming to satsaṅgs and spending time, even the whole night. There is no other way. It’s only one way, that is satsaṅg. As Gandhijī said, there is no way to peace; peace is the way. Similarly, there is no way to satsaṅg; satsaṅg is the way. Only those who understand who is in love, what is the love, only those who understand who is hurt with the bullet or the arrow, others not. That pain is indescribable. Similarly, that spiritual longing, the pain of spiritual longing, is also indescribable. No one understands, and no one can support you. It’s like an ill person, day and night, waiting for the doctor. Only because an ill person knows that the remedy which the doctor will give is the only way to become healthy, and that remedy is spirituality. It doesn’t matter from which spiritual saint the bhajan is. That doesn’t matter. It should be bhajan. It should be the meaning. It should be spiritual. Then the spirit has a highway. It is a one-way street. As soon as you meet the Kusanga, Kusanga can be with some person, or thinking, or speaking, or reading. And so on. Be sure that always the kusanga will have negative and painful results. That will have a result of destruction. Loss of the time, and again the soul will suffer. The satsaṅg which has a very happy, very pleasurable, very divine result. It can be with many people, with one person, reading, or thinking. It is said that the four Vedas and Śāstras are written in two. In the four Vedas and six philosophies, India has six philosophies. The four Vedas and six philosophies, if you compare them all together, there are only two things written. And these two things, finally the essence, the calculation is only two. Sukh diyā sukhā hothe, if you give pleasure and happiness to others, you will get pleasure and happiness. If you give the troubles, then you will get back the troubles. Choice is yours, and the options are there. Therefore, we shall give sukha, the pleasure. If you can’t dry the tears, don’t become the cause of the tears. If you can’t do the good things, don’t do the bad things. So it is the sense of satsaṅg, where the human qualities are developed and the human aim is realized, what we call self-realization. So, Guru Pūrṇimā is the beginning of the spiritual development for the aspirants. Like in the material world you have a financial year, the month that on the last date of that financial month you have to give all your accounts, similarly for the spiritual aspirant, for disciples, Guru Pūrṇimā is the final, where you have to give accounts of your spirituality. Gain or loss, you have to present to your Guru Dev on Guru Purnima. And you have to begin further to continue your spirituality, your business. So, dear brothers and sisters around the world, Wish you a very happy Divine Guru Pūrṇimā. I pray to Mahāprabhujī, Gurujī and Devapurījī to bless you. That day by day your spirituality grows. So remember, only the satsaṅg is the way. And keep in your mind always the satsaṅg. Part 5: The Awakening of Fortune Without grace, one obtains nothing, O Kairāya, not even the Vedas and Purāṇas. Who is greater than Rāmakṛṣṇa? And who is his Guru? The Lord of lakhs of distressed souls, he is subordinate to the Satguru. The Satguru is the complete Brahman, the one who is the essence of all. The ungrateful and lowly do not recognize this; the ages have passed by in vain. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. My fortune has awakened at the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. Since I saw those feet, brother, I have become a renunciant. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. My fortune has awakened at the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu. Consciousness awoke, I awakened in my true nature, and the sleep of ignorance fled. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. At the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu, my fortune has awakened. All desires of the mind have fallen away; intoxicated, I sing, having renounced the mind. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. At the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu, my fortune has awakened. Without seeing those feet, there is no peace. My eyelids do not even blink; my eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. At the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu, my fortune has awakened. I resound in the unstruck sound of bliss, ever remaining in love. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. Victory to Śrī Pūjya Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇa Karadīyā Vāḍā Vāgī. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. At the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu, my fortune has awakened. Madhavānandjī, Madhavānandjī has come as the Lord. My consciousness has merged. My eyes are fixed on the feet of the Satguru. At the lotus feet of Śrī Dīp Dayālu, my fortune has awakened. Say victory to Satguru Deva, victory to the most divine Bhagavān, victory to Dīp Dhana Mahāprabhujī, victory to Jagat Guru Meśvaranjī Mahārāj. Without divine fortune, one does not meet the true Satguru. Without the true Satguru, one does not attain Ātmarām. And remember Śrī Pūjā Dīp Dayālājī. Remember Śrī Pūjā Dīp Dayālā, who removes the poverty of countless births, the gracious, blissful one. Remember Śrī Pūjā Dīp Dayālājī, the indescribable, spotless one who dwells within, the conscious, compassionate one. In the three worlds, in the four directions of the universe, how can there be a lamp without darkness on earth? Light the lamp, awaken it and see. Remember and worship Dīpa Dayāla. Remember Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayālājī, who removes the poverty of countless births. I am dying, trapped in the darkness of illusion, and I find no sweetness in this play. Without the Satguru, one cannot understand. Open the lock of the hard knot, remember Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayālājī. He removes the poverty of countless births. He is the remover of poverty, the nourisher. Remember Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayālājī. He is the giver of wealth, the giver of happiness, the giver of everything. With a sincere mind, come to his feet. Remember Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayālājī, who removes the poverty of countless births. Śrī Pūjya Bhagavān Dīpa Dayāla, Śrī Pūjya Bhagavān Dīpa Dayāla, the protector of devotees, who filled Madhavānand with bliss. Remember the gracious Lord. Victory to Guru Bhagavān. Victory to Guru Dītnā Mahāprabhujī, victory to Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān, victory to Viśva Guru Meṣānjī Mahārāj, victory to Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Victory to Śrī Devī Svarūpa Deva, victory to Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān, victory to Viśva Guru Mahāmaleśvara Paramahaṁsavāmī Śrī Maheśvara Nānjī Gurudeva. I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. O Lord, I have found the bliss of refuge. I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. The wave has merged into the ocean. The wave has merged into the ocean; I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. The pitcher of knowledge was filled. The Satguru came and showered the water of nectar. The pitcher of knowledge was filled; the Satguru came and showered the water of nectar. I drank the nectar and my heart is full. I drank the nectar and my heart is full. Fearless love began to flow; I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. Our Guru Deva is the philosopher's stone; he turns iron into gold. He gave the 'So Ham' mantra in my ear. He gave the 'So Ham' mantra in my ear. He made me a swan. Now I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. Now I have found the bliss of refuge in the Lord. The wave has merged into the ocean. Now I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. Now I have found the bliss of refuge in the Lord. I was an enjoyer of endless births and eighty-four lakh life-forms. I was beaten by the rod of Yama. I was an enjoyer of endless births and eighty-four lakh life-forms. My body was tormented by Yama. Gurudeva removed the punishment. He settled the account. Now I have found the bliss of refuge in the Guru. Now I have found the bliss of refuge in the Lord. In future countless births, without the Guru, the mystery is not understood. In future countless births, the mystery was not understood. Having understood the mystery, all distinctions vanished, and the scorpion of duality was removed. O Pūjya Bhagavān Dīp Dayālu. O Dīp Pūjya Bhagavān, Dīp Dayālu, by the oath of the body. Says the soul, Nandajī is bliss. Victory to Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Victory to Śrī Devī Svarūpa Deva. Victory to Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān. Victory to Viśva Guru Mahāmalyasvara Paramahaṁsavāmī Śrī Māyī Svarūpānandjī Gurudevatī. Sing, O mind, Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayā. Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayā, sing, O mind. Śrī Pūjā Dīpa Dayā, sing, O mind.
