Saints are blessing for the planet

Today honors the embodiment of divine guidance through a holy saint. Divine incarnations appear to restore dharma. Some incarnations are for a specific purpose in a yuga. Others are the perpetual appearance of holy saints throughout time and across the world. These saints are mobile holy places, blessing the earth wherever they walk. Their spiritual power and wisdom guide seekers toward liberation. Our revered Gurujī was such an embodiment of love, peace, and devotion for eighty years. His disciplined life of constant mantra repetition infused his being with cosmic resonance, allowing divine wisdom to flow through his compositions.

"Walk on the path of truth." "Fortunate are we if we can have the darśana of the Gurudeva."

Om Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai. Śrī Śrī Dev Purīṣa Mahādeva Kī. Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Satguru Svāmī Madhavānanda Jī Bhagavān Kī. Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī. Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaḥ, Sarve Santu Nirāmayāḥ, Sarve Bhadrāṇi Paśyantu. Mā Kaścid Dukkha Bhāg Bhavet. Oṁ Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ... Rabhavatu! Blessed Self, spiritual seekers, good evening. Blessings are coming to you from Om Viśvadīp Gurukul Āśram, Jāḍaṇ, Rājasthān, in Holy Bhārat. Today is a very auspicious day, for it is the incarnation day of our universally worshipped, Anant Śrī Vyābhūṣit, Parivrājakācārya, Brahma Niṣṭha Śrotriya, Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ, Satguru Śrī Svāmī Madhavānanda Purījī Mahārāj, known to all as our holy Gurujī. Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa says to his disciple Arjuna: "Whenever dharma suffers and adharma dominates, O Arjuna, in every yuga I manifest myself through my yoga māyā." Two kinds of incarnations are believed in, worshipped, and acknowledged: nimitta avatāra and nitya avatāra. Nimitta means for a particular purpose, for a particular time—yuge yuge sambhavāmi—"in every yuga I come." These are known as the 24 incarnations, recognized by humanity over many past yugas, to destroy the devils, rākṣasas, asuras, satans, and to protect the bhaktas, the sādhakas, the yogīs, and the entire creation. Second is nityāvatāra. Because from one yuga to another, such incarnations are too few. Humans, through their ignorance, greed, hatred, and ego, create troubles not only for themselves but for the entire planet. Rākṣasas are happy to destroy, but the Devas and saints are happy to restore and help. This is different. The nityāvatāra, appearing time to time, is known as the holy saint. These holy saints exist not only on the soil of Holy Bhārat; in mankind’s stories and histories, saints have appeared around the globe. Their immense spiritual power, mental power, wisdom, and the voice and power in their words—all this greatness—has been helping people in the world and other creatures. Therefore, in the holy book Rāmāyaṇa, the great Tulsīdās said that holy saints are themselves the holy places—what you could call mobile holy places. Wherever the saint moves, wherever the saint steps, that place is blessed. That place becomes holy and is worshipped. In that spiritual, divine, holy lineage of Śrī Alakhapurī Jīsida Pīṭha, which begins from the Satya Yuga, our beloved holy Gurujī incarnated. He was an incarnation of love, an incarnation of peace, an incarnation of wisdom, an incarnation of bhakti (devotion), an incarnation of the guide to all seekers. Through his presence, thousands and millions of people were inspired and attained liberation. Many of you know and have experienced his divine presence. Our holy Gurujī incarnated in 1923. He left this world, left his mortal body, and became one with Brahman in 2003. He lived, guided, praised, and blessed for these 80 years of his life. As I said before, it was a blessing for this planet. The term "incarnation" is used for holy saints. "Birth" is used for normal humans and animals. "Manifestation" or Swayambhū is used only for Śiva, because Śiva is that one who manifests himself through nāda (the resonance, universal resonance) and that cosmic jyoti (light), and in that light he manifests. These are the words which are used. Otherwise, birth and incarnation are the same—it is to be born. But in the case of holy saints, we say either "incarnation" or "the day of the embodiment." These are the protocols, defining whom to address with what terms. Our beloved holy Gurujī, the light of our heart and the light of our wisdom, was a true example of a saint, a true example of a disciple, a true example of a master, and a true example of discipline. Sumiran, praying, meditating, and repeating mantra for more than 18 hours a day. Can you imagine 18 hours consciously in your intellect, in your mind, in your breath—each and every ingoing and outgoing breath, āra-urāda, the repetition of God’s name? What does that mean for the body? Each and every cell of the body is recharged with the cosmic resonance, with cosmic love and light, and there is wisdom. For those whose anāhata cakra is cleared and opened, and the light of God is realized, God speaks Himself. Thus, the numerous bhajans, mantras, and kīrtans wrought by our beloved holy Gurujī benefit people around the whole world. That is called immortal, everlasting blessings. Teachings, articles, writings—you can manipulate those. But poems and bhajans are difficult to manipulate. That is the truth. Gurujī said in one of his bhajans, "Satya pata chalnā." Svāmī Madhavānandajī, our beloved holy Gurujī, said, "Walk on the path of truth." What is the truth? Brahma satya, jagat mithyā. The truth is only one: that Brahman. So, walk on that path. That is one of the definitions of Brahmacharya; it means your thoughts and feelings are constantly directed to the path of truth, meaning to Brahman. The simple way of living of our beloved Gurujī, his kindness to all, his open door for all, is well known by all his great disciples. So today is the day of the embodiment, incarnation, or birthday of our Satguru Dev. In his memory, here is a very beloved bhajan which holy Gurujī often used to sing. Whenever anyone came, he taught singing bhajans and asked all to sing. Chaitanya Ānanda Gaṁho, Chaitanya Ānanda Gaṁho, Gurudeva Darśana Daṁho, Gurudeva Darśana Daṁho... I’m put, and I’m not that. I’m not that... I’m not. Naipa vatthapara vedatake, naipa vatthapara darśana. Gurudeva darśana dhanam chetam, chetam darśana. Gurudeva darśana dhanam. Japa tappa yoga nahī vāṇāve, japa tappa yoga nahī vāṇāve. Karuṇā nīti dayā karāvāve. He bought? No, no... Sattaguru-dara-sannatīrata-sārā, yodana-pāve-bāgya-sitārā, nirbhava bhajana bhagavan ho. chaitanya dana ho. Sattaguruse meri yahi bandhanaa, sattaguruse meri yahi bandhanaa. Kātokāla-kārmapāndhanā, kātokāla-bhāvatārmapāndhanā. Mujhaparara Prabhu, Mujhaparara Prasanna Ho, Prasanna Ho Guru, Prasanna Dhan Ho, Chetana Dhan, Prasanna Dhan Ho. Satt Guru Sāyāp Śrī Deva Purīṣa Dharma Hettā Kāra Dhāreṣa. Oh, Guru Deva, dhara śaṇḍa dhaṇṇa ho. Chetna dhara śaṇḍa dhaṇṇa ho. Oh, Guru Deva, dhārā śaṇḍā dhanna ho. There are many beautiful bhajans. This bhajan was written by our Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī. Gurudeva Darśana Dhanāhu—fortunate are we if we can have the darśana of the Gurudeva. Chetan Ānanda Dhanahu. Ānanda is Brahman. Brahman is Ānanda; Ānanda is Brahman. When one becomes one with Brahman, it is only Ānanda-Svarūpa. But there should be Chetan—very conscious—where there is light and consciousness; the devotion is Chetan. Ānanda ghan ho—endless, endless like the sky. This is the aim of all human beings, as well as all creatures. It is also the purpose of practicing the spiritual path: yoga, āsanas, prāṇāyāmas, Nāḍī Yoga, Kriyā Yoga, Haṭha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jñāna Yoga, and Rāja Yoga, and so on. Or any spiritual, divine techniques from the world, which you can have through the blessing of the great saints. Then this human life will be successful. Yesterday we also spoke about hidden powers in humans: kuṇḍalinī and cakras. In the body, there are different kinds of chakras. There are what are called the earth chakras, connected to the earth. These earth chakras are located in our foot soles, heels, around the whole foot, up to the ankle joint. Earth. Our planet is a holy planet. Our planet is a living planet. Our planet is a planet of divine consciousness. Our planet is the planet of spirituality. It is the planet which is the home for all creatures, and this is the planet where the center for all souls who manifest, are born, or incarnate from the astral world, again comes to this planet. So the planet is holy, and that is why we call it the holy feet of the Gurudev. Only those who know, who have realized, who have awakened those chakras in the body spiritually—the Ājñā Cakra and the heart cakra. If there is no balance, if there is no coordination between the heart and the Ājñā Cakra, a person is completely confused, depressed, nervous, and it can even cause suicide. Because the balance is lost, the motivation to live life is lost. Therefore, the senses are there to give again the motivation and guidance. This is the case of humans. Animals, vegetation, and creatures in the water, in the space, and on the ground—jalatara, sthalatara, and nāpatara—they enjoy life. They enjoy life. Only humans cannot enjoy. And if one enjoys life, a hundred become enemies to destroy that happiness. Where one country is wealthy and peaceful, other countries begin to create problems, wars, border problems, and so on. This is in human nature. But human nature, if purified, awakens those chakras, then becomes divine nature. And when the divine nature is realized through and through, then the cosmic nature becomes. And when you are connected to the cosmos entirely, endlessly, automatically your consciousness is merged into the cosmic consciousness. That is a path, that is a way. So all creatures, all living entities, vegetation, they enjoy being on this planet. Only one does not, and that is a human. There are very rare humans who enjoy. Others are trying to enjoy, but the joy of that enjoyment is less than the sorrows of that enjoyment. After this life, many saints explain... Once I read about some prophet or saint in what is so-called the Orthodox Church from Ukraine or Russia, that non-believers and negative persons will be standing in front of a hill, as if without skin on the body, diseased. You know the story of the vampires. You know the stories of the Draculas. It was not like a ghost, but they couldn’t come into the sunlight. As soon as the sun’s rays were there, the skin was burned, and they were dying. That is why there was a lot of protection from sunlight. You know, until approximately 15 years ago in England, in a place called Scotland, there was a law: if you walk in the sun, you have to pay a tax. If you are getting sunlight through your window in your house, you have to pay the tax. If you sit in your own garden having a sun bath or sitting in the sun, you have to pay the tax. So you had to blacken your windows so that you don’t get the daylight in. Still, in some old, old buildings, you will see what we call plywood cut off and put in the windows so that you don’t have to pay the taxes. This was told to me on my last visit to Scotland, in Edinburgh. I couldn’t believe it could be like that. God has given free sunlight, joy, happiness, peace, contentment, oxygen. Everything God gave free, gratis, to all creatures. But we humans are greedy. Now, what causes this? When you put a signboard advertising your own building, they call it, and you have to pay an air tax. When your signboard is vertical outside your building, half a meter or any, then you have to pay more tax. If it’s only horizontal, flat on your wall, then you have to pay a little. So it means humans are struggling with how to get money from others. And others are struggling with how to get money from others. The snake is eating a mouse. The mouse is eating the frog, and the frog is eating the fly. And the fly is trying to catch the mosquito. You see how the chain is there. This is what they call the humans, and that is why humans are suffering. In that book it was written that whoever is disloyal to the church, disloyal to the holy persons, disloyal to the holy saints’ words, they will spend their life burning without skin—constantly in fire. That suffering is called fire, fierce fire. Is that only an imagination? Is this only a story to threaten us? Why, for centuries and centuries, ages and ages, have the saints been talking about this? One lie, two lies, three lies, four lies, five—all. Therefore, it is said: Guru Vākya. Guru Vakya means the words of the holy saints, because in Sanskrit the word "guru" is the holy master, the teacher. That is why we have to follow. And therefore, Dharma. Dharma is on the side of those who work day and night for peace, love, harmony, and God’s name and light. God is on their side where Dharma is. And Adharma is the side of the Asuras, Rākṣasas, who bring threatening fear, misguidance, blackmail, and all this. This is the Asuras’ side, and there is also, on their side, the destruction of the Asuras. So today is the embodiment day of our beloved Satguru Dev in the Dharma Saṁbhārat, Svāmī Madhavānandajī. Also, my dear brothers and sisters around the world, I pay my prayers and respect to those humans, innocent ones, who lost their lives in the Twin Towers in New York in 2001. My humble prayer to the Lord for divine light and peace for those souls, and my condolences to their family members who lost their dear ones. This is an example of what a greedy, jealous, egotistical person can do to destroy others. For whom was destroying a joy? For them, it was a joy, and for the entire world, it was a sorrow; it was a pity. There are people who are happy to destroy because they are the Rākṣasas, they are devils, they are Asuras, they are the Satans. They take protection, they try to exist in the shadow, the protection of holy gods and something, religion or like this. But in the Indian emblem and many other countries, it is said: ultimately, the truth will be. Ultimately, we’ll see the light will come. Ultimately, that God will come, like it is said that Jesus came as a savior, and so all the saints come as saviors. Jesus didn’t have an easy life. All holy saints—because asuras and dākṣasas work like a destructive force—but holy saints are like elephants. Dogs bark, but the elephant walks as a mighty, mighty being with dignity through the streets, wherever the elephant lives, without fear. And dogs, crazy dogs, he can’t sleep day and night. Their stomach has a praying problem. So we pray to God to send us such holy saints more on this planet to bless us, to protect us, and guide us and guide our spirituality. So those chakras which are in the foot, in the heel, and around the foot till the ankle joint, they are connected to the earth. These are the earth chakras, but they are holy. They are holy. There’s a long story, which I will tell you sometimes, that once when a ṛṣi was angry, he went to Viṣṇu. And Viṣṇu was residing on his thousand-headed snake in the ocean of nectar, and he said, "You are resting here, enjoying your sleep, and look what is happening down there." So he hit Viṣṇu on the chest with his foot. He kicked God Viṣṇu. Viṣṇu said, "I’m sorry for you. Your gentle foot, like a lotus petal—my body is hard like iron. I am sorry, may it hurt you? My body is too hard. Oh, Holy Saint, I bless this gentle foot, that from today on the feet will be celebrated." And since that time, it’s called Holy Feet. You know, also in Christianity, the feet were drawn and worshipped. There is one very ancient old church in Croatia, in Split. When you go in the old church there, there is one like a bathtub where they used to give initiation, where the priest is standing giving blessing and the new priest has to prostrate on the floor, Sāṣṭāṅga Daṇḍavat. When I went to see that, I said, "Yes, this is in Sanātana Dharma too, but we have now changed." But you know, reality you cannot change. You may hide it, you may change it, but the blessing is there. Therefore, as an entire world, it is the same thing. From the ankle joint till the heels, there are the vegetative chakras, belonging to the vegetation. On this subject, my dear brothers and sisters, I will come next time to my Vaibhaka Satsaṅg. I wish you all the best. Tomorrow, about holy Gurujī’s life, holy Gurujī’s bhajans, and experiences of being with holy Gurujī, our dear Svāmī Sādhavī Dr. [Name] will tell you. I look forward to hearing her through the webcast tomorrow. So, tomorrow same time and same space, if holy Gurujī and Mahāprabhujī will allow it. I bless you in the name of Alak. I pray to our divine holy Gurujī to bless you all, and me also, with love, good health, peace, harmony, and Brahmajñāna. All the best. Śrī Gurve Nāma Dhyānamūlam, Gurur Mūrtiḥ Pūjāmūlam, Guror Padam Mantramūlam, Guror Vākyam Mokṣa Mūlam, Guru Kṛpā Oṁ Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ... Alak Puruṣa Mahādeva Gajananda Bhagavānakī Devīśvara Mahādevakī Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavānakī Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavānakī Satya Sanātana Dharmakī. Bless you all, wherever you are, in whichever country. Either good night or good morning. Till then, next time in webcast. Om Śānti.
