Have A Feeling For Your Meditation

Three divine paths exist: selfless service, prayer, and meditation.

Selfless service, or niṣkāma karma, is performed without expectation of reward or thanks. It is superior to selfish action. Many professions allow for such service. Prayer is a direct personal consultation with God. Meditation is to sit in the heart or lap of God. All three are divine. Love is selfless service. In the current age, there is a misplaced focus where money is treated as God. Maintain disciplined prayer at set times, as one cares for a child. Meditation requires no complex technique. Sit silently, go within, and repeat your mantra. Do not abandon your mantra or path. Surrender to the divine.

"When you pray, God has a personal consultation with you."

"Meditation doesn’t need particular techniques. Just silently sit and go within thyself and repeat your mantra."

Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Dev Purīṣya Mahādeva, Dharma Samrāṭ Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān, Oṁ Guru Brahma, Maheśvara, Guru Sākṣāt, Paraṁ Brahma, Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Good morning, all dear brothers and sisters around the world and here in this hall. These four days were dedicated to meditation. Meditation is one of the most powerful and important techniques to develop spirituality and achieve the goal. He said, "When you work doing seva, niṣkāma karma yoga, there are two kinds of karma yoga: śakāma karma and niṣkāma karma." Śakāma karma is selfishness, doing with all interest, all ego, all greed, all ambition. Niṣkāma is selfless doing with free will, as what we call a volunteer or helper to all creatures: trees, animals, humans, and all. Niṣkāma karma means that we do not expect the fruits of our deeds, and we do not expect that someone will say thank you to us. Thank you, but the result of the niṣkāma karma is greater than anything else. So helping hands have more value than folded hands. So when we do a seva, let’s say, for example, a nurse in the hospital, of course she is getting money because she has to survive also; she has to live also. But in the way a nurse is really helping ill people, it is great Seva. Or a doctor, a surgeon who is operating, definitely he is also charging his money, but his seva, his service, is great. So there are many other professions where we can do the seva and not harm other creatures. He says when you help someone, work for, and show interest in all creatures, then God loves you. When you pray, God has a personal consultation with you. You are talking directly to God when you pray. And when you meditate, then you are sitting in the heart or the lap of God. So all three options are very good. So, we need that love. Love is God, and God is love. And that love is a selfless service. We would like to speak to God and tell him our problems, our mistakes, and ask for forgiveness. So that’s the prayer. And we would like to be one with God, so we are with Him, like a small child. While crying, the mother takes the child in her hands, and the child sleeps in the lap of the parent. So, all these three are very divine. It is said that you should not be afraid of God. And now, in this modern culture, people are afraid to go to the temple, ashram, or church. Karata Mahāprabhujī Karata Mahāprabhujī... Karata, or what you call the time, it changes. Then Kali Yuga is coming. So there was a king, a very great king, very spiritual and everything. But now the Kali came, Kali Yuga, and asked the king, "I would like to have a place in your kingdom." So the king asked, "Who are you? What is your specialty, please introduce yourself." So he said, "I would like to have a place in your kingdom." So the king asked, "Who are you? What is your specialty? Please introduce yourself." So he said, "I would like to have a place in your kingdom." So the king asked, "Who are you? What is your specialty? Please introduce yourself." So he said, "I would like to have a place in your kingdom." So the king asked, "Who are you? What is your specialty? Please introduce yourself." So he said, "I would like to have a place in your kingdom." So the king asked, "Who are you, and what means all this? What will happen when I am here?" So, the king said, "Then I will not give you." He said, "No, sir, you can’t refuse me. I came with great hope, and I want to have a small place in your kingdom." He had a beautiful, peaceful, loving world, with good seasons and good harmony. All creatures and humans were giving him great love. So, he said, "Give me a small place." So, the king said, "Which small place would you like to have?" "Well, very small, rare is gold. So, give me a place in the gold." So, the king thought it was very hidden in the earth and so on. "Okay, I give you the place in the gold." So, he entered the gold, and immediately he sat on the head of the king. What I am doing here is that I am on God, because He is the God and Crown. In the Bible, it is also said that Jesus said, "Do not believe in this strong God as gold. Follow me. I tell you that I am the way to God." That means my instruction, what I tell you. People believe in money. And so now, slowly, slowly, Kali Yuga is in power. And so, in Kali Yuga, money is God. It must not be for all, but for 99.5% of people, for them, money is like God. So in this Kali Yuga time, to do the good Karma Yoga, selfless service, without expectation and without taking, even if someone comes and offers you, okay, you are working here and you have no money, and this, I give you just a reference, don’t think. Because you are doing the Kālī Yoga, and you are lifting, and they are giving you, then you are not doing the real Kālī. Let all your years of selfless work be done again. So, helping is very important for us when we need the love of God, because God takes it upon himself. Devpurījī said about Satguru Dev, just now is his time. According to Indian time and calendar, just now is the time when Devpurījī went to Brahmaloka, Śrīloka. He said that Gurudev or God takes upon himself the destiny of the devotees. So, he takes upon himself the responsibility and destiny of the bhaktas or the volunteers who are doing the free will without condition, not putting conditions on anyone. Mahāprabhujī kī karatā hai kevalam, Mahāprabhujī kī karatā. So similarly, the prayer, when you pray in the evening, then the whole day’s burden is released. When you pray in the morning, the whole night’s burden is released, and your day becomes clear again. So there are different hours of prayer. Unfortunately, people are not aware of that. But I admire, and I do admire very much, that our Muslim brothers and sisters keep very strictly the prayer time, seven times a day for prayer. And we always compromise. "No, I don’t have time today. Okay, tomorrow I have time." Someone invites you to someone’s wedding party, and you close the evening at five o’clock. You ask them where to go, and you never think or care about who will do the prayer. Many times I see that you lock the door and go, and then there’s nobody there. And Mahāprabhujī is coming and making a show for me. So I said, okay, I will do it on behalf of Gopāl. I will take it upon myself. So when you have prepared the place, then you must take care. When you decide to have a baby, and you give birth to a baby, then you are a mother, and it’s your duty that you know when you have to feed the baby, because the baby is still too small, and the breastfeeding and the mother must go, even if someone will invite her somewhere, she will. "No, I will let the baby feed on that hand." When you create your spiritual place and your altar, do not do it occasionally. That is very important. There is your disciplined spiritual interview. Then your prayer will be heard. When you are in trouble, then you completely and sincerely make prayers. Then it is our selfish place, not yours. And the meditation. Meditation, you should have an inner feeling. Not that you must meditate. You must, you must. You should. All other things that we are doing are temporary, material, and they will not go with us forever. But it is your meditation that is your path for you. And again, in meditation, if you practice your mantras, then your meditation in life without using mantra and meditation is a statue without a soul inside. Meditation doesn’t need particular techniques. Just silently sit and go within thyself and repeat your mantra. Just withdraw and feel surrender. Surrender to God. Surrender to the Almighty, the Supreme. Surrender there where your love goes, and not selfish love, but it is the Almighty who is connected with the highest tattva. So we shall do a meditation now. I will not give you so many instructions, but I will speak from time to time so that you don’t fall asleep, okay? So prepare yourself comfortably. If you have a mālā, if you have mantras, then you have a mālā. So take your mālā and repeat your mantra. If you don’t have a mantra, then you should have a mantra very soon. So if you don’t have a mantra, then now you can repeat Oṁ Sho’ham. This would be a very concrete, very clear mantra. Will you remember those who have no mantra? If you have a mantra, then you repeat it. So, take your mālā in your hand. The mālā is your spiritual passport. Never and never and never give it to someone, and don’t call them. Do not change your inner thoughts. Do not change your path or its meaning. Don’t change your mantras. You work years and years on it. If you stop, you’ve lost so many years in nothingness. Again, you have to begin from the beginning if you are changing something. So relax, close your eyes, chest first. Withdraw yourself from the external world. Once we’ve inhaled and exhaled, repeat your mantra with the mālā, you know, according to your capacity. You know what spirituality means, what devotion means, what the God of life means. Try to repeat that devotion. Let this multiply in your heart and in your mind. Observe the silentness, the inner silence. Observe the inner silence; just repeat your mantra. Devotion, let it melt all those in the devotion. Be calm; you are being here physically and mentally. Know that you are relaxed? Feel comfortable physically and mentally. The divine energy, the presence of the divine, touches your very gentle skin with verified air. Relax while repeating your mantra. Feel the meaning, the power of your mantra. In your inner space, in your inner temple, the beautiful resonance of your mantra is like the source of the light, the fountain of the joy. The joy, the radiance of the peace, the light, the peace, the joy, let it spread through the whole body, each and every cell of the body, recharging life, the peace, the love, the devotion of the heart, the love. Of your heart, in your thoughts, and imagine the place of your devotion, and little by little, imagine the pictures in your inner temple, in your inner space. Take one candle, place the candle on the candle holder. Now, the light of the candle in the mess box, open the mess box, go in gently. Magnificent light in your temple of demons, find some flowers, put these flowers on a small flower. Pot, place near the candle, recolor any flower which just now appears in your imagination. Give the flowers, create the emotion, the beauty of your inner self, the happiness of your inner self, flowers and the candle, and now bring some kind of fruit which you like. Your inner altar, dedicated to thyself, created by thyself, admired by self, becomes one with thyself. Don’t miss your mantra as you are being happy, relaxed, and peaceful. In the inner silence, observe in the temple of silence beautiful candles, flowers, and sunflowers. No tensions at all, physically or mentally. Relax your elbows, relax your shoulders, jaw, cidākāś. Oṁ....
