The Nature of Attachment, the Curse of Knowledge, and the Immortal Parrot

A spiritual discourse exploring attachment, divine knowledge, and a mythological story about immortality.

"Love is the greatest. That love is God, and God is love. Our love for our dear ones, parents, ancestors, sisters, brothers, friends, animals, house pets, even our car."

"Therefore, moha. Moha means ignorance, and moha means attachment."

The speaker delivers an evening satsang, weaving together philosophical teachings on attachment (moha) with the story of Shiva, Parvati, and the quest for immortal wisdom. He explains how attachment leads to suffering, illustrating this with the tale of Sati's self-immolation and Shiva's grief. The narrative then focuses on Parvati's insistence that Shiva teach her the secret of immortality, a secret that is accidentally overheard by a clever parrot, leading to the birth of the sage Shukadeva. The talk emphasizes the challenges of spiritual practice and the need for a true Guru.

Om Namah Śivāya, Śrī Deveśvara Mahādeva Kī Jaya, Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jaya, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān Kī Jaya, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jaya. Blessed self, all dear ones, good evening. The blessings come to you from the most beautiful earth, our planet. Those who are living on this earth, as well as in the universe, receive endless blessings. Different qualities are created through our actions, and the fruits of those actions vary accordingly. There are two such fruits: Āśīrvāda (blessing) and Śrāpa (curse). A blessing or a curse from the Supreme Court—the justice of the Supreme Court gives the judgment. Only then are there valid blessings or curses. For example, when you see the Rāmāyaṇa video and hear how much Rāvaṇa screams at Brahmā, "I will change your rules!"—you know, it is something. There are egos. But how long does a tiger attack an animal? The tiger holds the neck. The animal tries with all its strength to fight, stretching its legs, and then gives up. Finished. So, there are small bubbles. They think, "I will do this and that." They are like these little creatures. You can't fight against the tiger. Similarly, you cannot fight against Brahmā, Viṣṇu, or Śiva unless you have a concrete reason. Also, Viṣṇu was cursed many times, as was Śiva, Jesus, and many others. Something was affected; something was just in the air. Many things are due to moha—attachment. And it doesn't matter who is who; there is attachment, whether you accept it or not. Love is the greatest. That love is God, and God is love. Our love for our dear ones, parents, ancestors, sisters, brothers, friends, animals, house pets, even our car. Someone bought a beautiful new car and parked it in front of the house, looking at it ten times, thinking how beautiful it is. In the morning, he came and somebody had made a lot of crashes there. The person was crying, "My car!" Attachment manifests in different ways. You see, when Sītā was kidnapped by Rāvaṇa, how sad was Rāma. And you know, when things happened with Rukmiṇī and others, how sad was Kṛṣṇa. So, who are we compared to them? From which field are we the carrots? Anyone can pull you out like this. Therefore, moha. Moha means ignorance, and moha means attachment. And then there is attachment to someone. Anyone can be attached. And so, you are in a great hurry. You would like to go quickly, or someone overtook your car, and now you said, "I will show how quickly my car can be." And then suddenly, the red light. You have to control yourself. Another one makes three times, placing the light, and goes away on another street, and I don't know. And you are angry—du ärgerst dich. Oh Mensch, du kannst dich den ganzen Tag ärgern, aber du bist nicht dazu gezwungen. Das ist das. Āsurī Śakti is within us, and Devī Śakti is within us. Śama and Dama we have to practice. We know that this kind of words, this kind of behavior, this kind of actions, this kind of thinking can harm me or can make me happy. So Śiva, Bhagavān Śiva, he had immense attachment to Śakti. When Śakti asked Śiva that she would like to go to her father's house because there was a Yajña and her father did not invite her and Śiva, she was so disappointed and angry. She wanted to go tell her father that something was not correct about what he had done. And Śiva said, "My dear, don't go. It doesn't matter if we have an invitation or no invitation. We will not become small if we don't have an invitation." She said, "No, I will go and I will sow." Again, he said, "Don't do it." But emotion sometimes is too much. The husband tells the wife, "Don't do it." But when she is in a high temperament, then she will do it. Afterwards, she will be sorry for that. A husband can also be in the same position. Śiva said, "My dear, don't go." But she went, and what was the result? She had to give her body up. She herself was so much disappointed with her father and this and that, and she sat in the yajña fire and burned. The message went to Śiva. Śiva is generally never angry, but at that time he was very angry. They brought the Śakti to him. He again got Vairāgya. Again, he got Vairāgya from the Saṃsāras, and he loved his Śakti so much. He took her on his shoulder and disappeared into the universe, the endless universe. Everything was stuck. Nothing was functioning. No law was in effect. Brahmā was tired, getting old. Viṣṇu was tired, couldn't do anything. Śiva, where is he? Then all devas went to Viṣṇu. Brahmā also asked Viṣṇu, "Please, can you separate Śiva and Śakti?" Śiva is completely in his own meditation, carrying her on his shoulder—the dead body of Śakti—for yugas and yugas in the universe. And his work is all stopped. But Viṣṇu said, "Who dares to go to him and ask him to put Śakti away? Or who dares to go to kidnap or take it away?" No one can. So finally, Brahmā tells Viṣṇu, "Lord, now you have to take your Sudarśana Cakra to free Śiva from the Śakti." And Viṣṇu meditates and sends his Sudarśana Cakra in that direction where Śiva is. Her body was cut into fifty-two pieces. Where each part of her body fell down, that place became a holy site called a Siddha Pīṭha, a Śakti Pīṭha. These are in different parts of India and the Himalayas. Immediately, there was light. And now millions of people go there every year, especially on Navarātri, the nine days of the Divine Mother. Finally, Śiva came out of his trance—or you may say depression. Yes, it can be. And again he came, and he began his Līlā. And that Śakti again is coming and born as a Pārvatī. Pārvatī. Pārvatī means Parvat, the daughter of the king of the Himālaya, the daughter of the Himālaya. Parvat means mountain. Pattī means the lord. So Gaṅgā and Pārvatī, they are sisters. And again came Pārvatī, and Śiva met again. They had a wedding again. Śakti had a short time with Śiva, not very long. Pārvatī had a long time. But between all the time, from Satyayuga, every yuga, the Brahma-putra, the son of Brahmā, Nārada, he is always active here and there, trying to awaken doubts in people. So when someone comes and talks, man, you know, Sādhvī Sāvitrī, you know, and then goes to that, and you know, Sāvitrī, that Sāgar Purī was saying this, and you know. So this is always—that's called Nārada Vidyā. What do you call it? Nārada Vidyā. Vidyā means knowledge, or Vidyā means crashing. So Vidyā, Nārada Vidyā—when you don't understand Vidyā, then that can confuse your mind. There are some people they call it Vidya Yoga, and they have no idea what that Vidya Yoga is, and they are confused. Yes. When you don't understand, you don't know what vodka is, and you just drink it, then, of course, the vodka has its effect. And when you know what the nectar is, then you have this. Nārada Vidyā is a blackmailing. And then he is afraid. He runs away. Nārada. But always in his Vidyā, there was something in it. He tried to get something out of it, like what you call the secret police, the CID. So Nārada always creates something. Nārada creates troubles between Śakti and Śiva. Nārada created troubles between Śiva and his father-in-law. Now he will create troubles between Pārvatī and Śiva, and Pārvatī's father and Śiva, and Pārvatī's mother and Śiva, and especially very big troubles he will create between the brother of Pārvatī and Śiva. And the brother of Pārvatī is so angry that in no case can my sister marry this man, or this Śiva. Problems are always there. Be happy you have not such a big problem. To solve the problem of the goddess, my God, the entire universe is trembling, earthquake. Better to be good, to be a small one, but you see even how they are suffering. So, who are we? So, they also have these problems. As long as the family problems come, there is Gaṇeśa, and then there is Kārtikeya. And the problem between these two brothers, oh my God, always. Hari Om Tat Sat, Hari Om. Jesus had a lot of problems, and Mohammed had a lot of problems to bring the message of Allah, many things. The Buddha is a Hindu Rajput warrior. How many troubles he had? Many, many, all. If you have done troubles, you are not a saint. Either you master it, you go through, or you fail. You need strong light inside. Yes, Nārada came. Śiva was on his walk through the mountains, the Himalayan range. He went and had a bath in the Mansarovar Lake. And he walked around—that's called also Rākṣasa Lake. So for both, for Rākṣasas and for Devas, you had to keep balance. In that minute, Nārada was passing, and he said, "Oh, Śiva is here, Pārvatī is there. I should create some problem and then go." Trouble maker. What? Trouble maker. When, if Śiva and Pārvatī are near, he doesn't dare to say anything. And he doesn't dare to come near, so he found a chance. But something very deep and has a meaning in it, not only to create troubles. Nārada came. Om Namah Śivāya, Om Namah Śivāya,... Har Har Mahādev, Har Har Mahādev, Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ, Har Har Mahādev. Mother, mother,... my adoration, mother. Pārvatī said, "Oh Nārada, nice that you came. What brought you here?" Mother, nothing, nothing, nothing. I was just going, moving. Namah Śivāya, Namah Śivāya. I saw Divine Mother. I thought my life will be successful. Just I come and see thy lotus feet, Mother. Just bless me, just bless me, Mother. So Pārvatī said, "I bless you. But you brought some message," he said. No, mother, nothing, nothing. But Nārada is moving constantly; he doesn't stop anywhere. It is a curse by his father that he will not stay anywhere. Narāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa, Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya. I am going, mother, bless me. He walked a little, and then said, "Ah, yes, yes, but I have something to tell." You know, like Commissioner, what do you call it in the, uh, how do you call that in the video or in the series, Colombo? You know, he said, "No, no," he says, then, "This is good," and it comes back. That's the Nārada. Nārada comes back. Mother, I have one question. I was thinking many, many yugas, but definitely there must be some cause. She said, "What?" Do you know, mother, why Bhūtanāth has the big mālā of skulls from the human head, the skulls? She said, "I don't know." "Be careful, mother, otherwise your head will be hanging there too." She said, "What?" Yes, better you ask him, what is this? Narāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa, Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya, Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya. And he goes. After a walk, Śiva comes. And Pārvatī stands up and says, "My adoration, Lord. Bless you, Devī." And Śiva says, "Is there something wrong?" She says, "No, Lord, nothing." Nothing, my Lord. Then comes it here. She says, "Yes, Lord." He tried to put her close, and she made little distances. Antaryāmī, the inner one who knows everything, Lord of the Lord of the Lord. What can you hide from Śiva? He knows everything. Pārvatī said, "Lord, can I ask you one question?" Of course, Goddess, always, always. Will you give me an answer? He said, "I will overthink—if this answer is healthy for you or not." She said, "It doesn't matter, healthy or not healthy, I want to know." He said, "Yes, then okay." Why do you have such a big garland around your neck made of skulls? He smiled. Was Nārada here? She said, "Yeah, yeah, he was here." Nārāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa, did he say Nārāyaṇa or Śiva? Both. Okay, no problem. So what did he ask? He asked that he would like to know, and he asked me if I knew about this Yamada. Śiva said, "My dear, it's a long story, better not to know." He said, "Why? You must tell me." He said, you know, better I should not tell you. He said, "Then you must tell me." So, you see, now the quarreling begins. Nārada Vidyā. Śiva said, "My dear, this is your skull." Narada told me, "What do you mean? So I will be in this line?" He said, "Who knows? Oh God, explain to me. I am going to my father's house." Śiva said, "I know that you will say this." You are free, my dear, throughout the entire universe. You can go wherever you go, but you can't free thyself from Śiva's neck. Tell me what? Śiva said, "You are my Śakti." As many skulls as there are, that many times you have incarnated and died again. Why did I die? Because you did not follow my words, you did not understand me. The last one is Śakti. I told her, "Do not go to that Yajña to your parents' house," but she ignored me. Similarly, you are doing that, and that causes the changes in your body, and you die. But I, very loyal to you, I love you very much. I cannot separate you. So, as a memento to my dear one, I take your skull and make it a mālā around my neck. I hope there will be no second last. That was the last one. No more will there be any. She said, "Then why don't you tell me something? Why do I die? And where is your skull?" He said, "My skull is here ever." This is not fair, my lord. You remain as young, as beautiful as it is forever, and I must suffer and go through this charāsī cakra. He said, "My dear, it's unnecessary, but you don't follow. You don't understand." Then why don't you teach me this immortality? He said, "Pārvatī, this, how to be immortal, is not easy, and it is not. This Vidyā, this science, this yoga, is not for everyone, because not only humans, but any creatures who will listen or come to know, will misuse it." I do give many techniques and kriyās, Devī, as a trial. Finally, in the last minutes of their life, I give that light so that they are successful. They have to practice, and I know that Māyā, Mahā Thagni Hamjani, this Māyā is a great cheater, Kabīr Dās said. She has this knot in her heart, in her neck, of the three guṇas: sattva, rajas, and tamas. And you never know when this māyā will pull it, and you are hanged up again. Again, go to the māyā. And you never know in which form she can come. She became the queen for the king. For the Pandit, for the priest, became a statue in the temple. In the holy place, he became holy water. You never know when Māyā can cheat you. So, the Māyā and Brahmā, between this Jīva, that is a part of Śiva, and this Jīva is struggling between Māyā and Brahmā. Only Satguru Dev can take you and put you into the Brahman. Pārvatī said, "Doesn't matter how it is, I want to know. Triya Haṭha, Bāla Haṭha, Triya Haṭha, Rāja Haṭha, and Yoga Haṭha. These are four kinds of Haṭha." I congratulate the women. What they decide, they come through. Even they will tell the nonsense things, but men have to suffer. Yes, man is born in Kali Yuga for suffering, and lady is born for the joking, so they suffer more than that. Yes, this is a good change. Pārvatī said, "I want to know these signs. If you love me, then you trust me. And if you trust me, then you will teach me." Otherwise, from today onwards, Śiva said, "And what?" She said, "I'm sorry, Lord, I don't want to tell what I wanted to say." But better you tell me. Śiva said, Pārvatī, this science, this Vidyā, if I tell someone, will be misused. It will be a great problem in the world. The person who developed the atom, then he realized, now in future how the human will misuse the atoms. And I don't know if I'm wrong or right. They said he hanged himself, he died, that he made a great mistake. And so, is that why? That's why the whole life Gurudev puts the disciples up and down, up and down, this side, that side, this side. After, when he finds, then he gives the siddhis to one man. Told, asked one Gurudev, "Why don't you just choose one good disciple?" He said, "I'm waiting." But many crows are coming, many of these are coming. He said, "Yes, I am feeding. My duty is to feed them. I am feeding the crows, birds, parrots, crocodiles, all I feed them, ducks, with this hope that one day will come the swan, Paramahaṅsa." So I am just feeding all. Sooner or later, the one swan will appear, then my feeding is successful. And that's what you are also doing. Every day, many, many things, one day will come that swan will awake within you. Mahāprabhujī awoke the sleeping swan. Therefore, Pārvatī, it's not, and I know you will not keep. "Quiet," she said, "what do you want? To have dinner or not?" He said, "Today's fasting." Śiva said, "Then we have to go somewhere in the caves of the glaciers where no creatures, no one, can be there, listening. This science, what I will tell you." Oh, Pārvatī, so the Guru Gītā was saying that, at that time, delivered to Pārvatī the Guru Gītā. This was the first lesson. Śiva went for many, many years. He searched each and every cave. He found one place that's now in Kashmir, the province of India, Kashmir. It's called Amarnath. All was covered with snow, glaciers. Śiva came back and said, "Pārvatī, I found one place. There is no... I didn't see any creatures. Let's go. There I will deliver you, give you this Vidyā, that you will become immortal like me. We will be ever immortal." They went. First was he, the Śiva, free as his embodiment, the moon. He said to the moon, he took out his decoration, his ornament, and he said, "Now you go in the sky, a permanent place for you." He renounced because of her. So the crescent moon, the new moon, is a symbol of Śiva. To see the new moon means that you see Śiva. And you know, in Muslims they have many festivals, and in this Eid, there are two Eids and many fastings and so on. Until they see this new moon, they will fast, and they will not drink or eat. And that is Śiva. He walked further, and he told his Nandi, "Bhel." Now, Nandi, you stay here and you graze here. Grace here. That place is called Belthal when you go to Amarnath. Then he came further, and he took all his ornaments, the Śeṣa Nāgas and many Nāga snakes. He took them and said, "Go here in this water, enjoy and live here," because he didn't want them to go with him. For the sake of his love for Pārvatī, Śiva gave up everything. What do you want from the husband more? A man has three phases of life. If I show you, you will laugh very much. Do you want to see that? The three different stages of a man's life. Maybe after, I will show you. Then Śiva went into the cave, and Pārvatī was sitting near. Śiva said, "Pārvatī, is there anyone?" She said, "No, Lord, no one except your Bhavati." Śiva said, "Look, I am going into the Brahmāṇḍa, the entire Brahmāṇḍa, and I will tell you the essence of that. All that you will get, immortality, but it is hard work. I will be somewhere else, through my whole body and everything, but I will constantly speak to you. You should not sleep; this is the condition. If you sleep, you will miss, and then again we lost it. You have not the knowledge of immortality." She said, "Lord, I will." Not sleep? You are my Lord sitting with me. How can I sleep? What kind of love is this, that your beloved is awakened and you are snoring? Yes, I will be awakened. So Lord Śiva said, "Okay, you have to feed." So what? I will speak. And you said, "Yes, yes, I know, again, again, yes." Pārvatī said, "This is a great technique, my lord, that I will also not sleep. I will say, 'Yes, yes, yes.'" Then Śiva sat in his divine consciousness, samādhi. And there were three creatures inside: two pigeons, who were resting there to overcome the winter, and one parrot. The ṭauban, the pigeons, they are very dull. And the parrots are awakened. They are very conscious. Now Śiva begins to tell that science of immortality to Pārvatī. Listen. And Śiva begins to say, "Yes, yes, yes." I don't know how many yugas. It's not one night. But their night is for us; how many yugas? Oh my God, lot, lot. You know, one man went from Vienna somewhere and he met God. How nice, you know. So the man sees God, and you begin to have a dialogue with him. Say, God, what is the difference between your time and our time? God said, "Well, it's a big difference, but how is it?" He said, "Your one second and my five millions." No, my one second and your five million years. He said, "Oh my God, so much difference." He said, "Yes, for me just one second, and for you, five million. Okay, Lord, you think we can also come there maybe sometime, have a good karma? But are you sure that you want to live so long?" And God... How is what about you? Money, God said, "For me, money is nothing. Do you have?" He said, "Oh, a lot." The winner he was today is the chance to win the money. The God can give him nothing. For him, no any lotto, toto can give me so much. So he asked God, "Can... you give me money, as much as I like. He's, of course, my son." Asked, 'How much you want?' He said, "May I ask you 10 millions, 20 millions?" He said, "This is just nothing. Billions, billions you will give me." "Of course, I will give you." "Okay, Lord, then give me." 1,000 billion euros. God said, no problem. Wait a second. That's it. So for God, that's it. Om Shanti. Śiva began, and Pārvatī said, "Yes." Anu, yes, yes, yes. She leaned on Śiva's shoulder, Yes. Śiva is talking constantly. A parrot was sitting there. He said, "Oh, it will be a great pity if Śiva notices that she is sleeping and is not answering. He will stop, and I will not have the knowledge of immortality." So the parrot came a little closer and said, "Yeah, yeah... yeah, yeah, yeah..." Chi, chi, yeah, chi. And Śiva opened his eyes, finished, and what did he see? Pārvatī sleeping again. Śiva said, "I told you, you slept again. I was speaking for nothing." Pārvatī said, "No, no... I heard everything," and he flew away. Śiva got doubly angry. He has stolen my knowledge. He took his triśūl and ran behind the parrot. The parrot was running through the whole Himalaya. Nowhere was the safe place. Behind Śiva, in the front, a parrot. Can you imagine? That became Marathona's game from there. Every game has its roots. He was running, and he tried to come to Mother Pārvatī, but Śiva was angry. Nearby there was one cave of the ṛṣi who was making tapasyā, called Ved Vyāsa, Bhagavān Ved Vyāsa, who was writing the Vedas and all these scriptures. Many Purāṇas, many Upaniṣads, many things, all are created by Ved Vyāsa. Ved Vyāsa went for a walk, and his wife was waiting at home near the cave, a little hut. She was waiting; she will eat when her husband will come home. And she is waiting, and she is waiting, and she is tired, standing. Where is she? Where is she? Will she come? And she was tired, and she said, and parrots flew. He said, "That is the safest place." And he zipped, and Śiva wanted to throw his triśūla. Rishi held Śiva's hand and said, "My lord, what are you doing?" He said, "That parrot has stolen my wisdom. I will kill it." He said, "No, no, Lord. You know where they have the shelter now? Ṛṣi Patañjali, the wife of the ṛṣi." You know, never, you said never raise the hand and never use any weapon against women, and especially the pregnant ones. You can be cursed, Śiva. I will wait till he comes out. That's okay. And Śiva went back and said to Pārvatī, "I told you." And that's why Pārvatī is not in the immortality. Śiva will continue, but the Śakti will change. She will suffer. She has to go with, but she has to suffer again: birth and death and disappointment, this, that, that. That's why Śiva and Śakti. Well, the poor wife of the Ṛṣi Vedavyāsa, her stomach was growing, growing, expanding, heavy, and she couldn't get the birth. She asked him, he said, "No, I will not come out. I am immortal." She said, "Come." The parrot said, "I will not come into this world of māyā. I don't want to see māyā." I am comfortable, I am relaxed. Viṣṇu came, Śiva came, Brahmā came, asked him to come out, but birth was not possible. Then Śiva and Viṣṇu asked Brahmā, "Please, Brahmā, change the law of this mortal world." He said, "What? No moha, no attachment." Suddenly, this world became without attachment. No māyā, all was beautiful, clear, happy, no suffering, become a Swargaloka. Then Brahmā said, "Sukha, that parrot, Sukha, now you can come out." Brahmā, don't play with me. Is your world without or with Māyā? He said, "Without Māyā." And he was born. That was the Śukadeva Muni, the great saint Śukadeva. So, who sits on this holy place? This is called Vyāsa Gadi, the holy seat of Vyāsa. And when one can talk spontaneously, as much as he or she likes to speak, that's called the incarnation of Śukadeva Muni. None of the others or them were as brilliant a speaker as Śukadeva Muni. Saraswatī is constantly sitting in his vocal cords. As soon as he was five, eight years, seven years old, now Viṣṇu said, "Brahmā, now you can release your māyā." And he released the māyā, and Śukadeva was so disappointed. He was so disappointed. He was angry at the father. He was angry at Brahmā. He said, "Now I will leave this world." He went to the forest alone, so young a boy. But he couldn't get what he wanted to get, this Amaratattva. He lost the knowledge because the Māyā, the curtain of the Māyā, just fell like... This, and Śukadeva Muni is searching for immortality, so they told him, "We have to find the Guru Vedavyāsa, such a great saint." But Śukadeva Muni said, "This is not the master that will give me immortality." He searched and he searched, finally he found the great master, King Janaka Videhi, the father of Sītā, Rāma's faithful one. Janaka had ātmā jñāna, and he had the ability to give this brahma jñāna of immortality. Now, Śukrīyā is going to the gate of King Janaka. And people ask, there is one young boy who came to meet you. He said, "Let him stay in front of the door. Don't answer." He stayed one week, no one spoke with him. They said, "King, still he's there." He said, "Then just open the door. Let him come into the front room." He walked into the front room. Nobody talked to him for ten days. No water, no eating, no sleeping, just lagan lagī. After ten days, again the king asked, "Is the boy there?" He said, "Yes, king." Bring him inside the room and give him a chair to sit on. So they brought him in. After one week again, is he there? Say yes. But Lord, it seems he is so weak. Acchā. Bring him into the dining place and give him hot milk. So is the test. Vrifung, so harte vrifung. Hier wartet man nicht mal eine halbe Stunde und sagt, er kann mich gerne haben, ich ja schon. Das ist das. Just woe is the patience, woe. Then he comes to the Raja Janaka, and Janaka puts his hand on the head of the Śukadeva Muni, and Śukadeva Muni got immediately the Brahma Jñāna, the immortality, awoke that which Lord Śiva spoke that time. So, is this Jīva, is that Śukadeva? Ātmā is that Gurudeva. The viveka is born out of the Vyāsa. So in our body, everything is there. And therefore Guru Tattva is the highest Tattva. Again, Pārvatī has to go in the chain of the thread of Śiva's, the second skull hanging there again. Now we will see how the next step will be, who will come. Pārvatī is already hanging there. Now the yuga has to be created. Again Svayaṃ Bhūḥ has to come. And then again he has to wait till Pārvatī will incarnate. So there are stories, realities. Who are we? How much time do we use for that? How much of Rāvaṇa's things are in us? More asuras are active than the devas. But we hope one day we will understand. Śiva Śiva...
