Everything Has It’sTime

True dharma is universal oneness, not conflict. All spiritual truths transcend religious labels. Dharma protects those who protect it. Divine intervention manifests in two forms: the Nimit Avatāra at a cycle's end and the ever-present Nitya Avatāra—the living saint who embodies grace. This grace is not accessed by intellect or power but through a genuine lineage and a pure-hearted master. A balanced, subtle practice is more powerful than forceful extremes. The words and blessings of such a true saint invariably manifest.

"Dharma rakṣita rakṣitaḥ—one who protects dharma is protected by dharma."

"May the sun and moon change their direction, but the words of the saints will not go empty."

All dharmas are in oneness, in love. Where people fight each other in the name of dharma, they are not the bhaktas. True bhaktas are those who pray to God as the universal one. For everything, there is a fixed time—a time to study, a time to pray, and so on. There is a story of two men who died. One was not spiritual; he never went to pray or think of God. The other, a believer, was always praying. They both arrived at the door of heaven. The gatekeeper opened the door and said, "God, there are two people at the door. Should I let both into heaven, or one, or not at all?" God replied that the person who didn’t think of God should be brought to heaven, and the other should go to hell. The devotee protested, "God, that’s not justice. I am remembering you all the time. I call you all the time." God said, "That’s why." "What do you mean?" asked the devotee. God explained, "I can’t sleep. All the time you are disturbing me." So what should we do, Lord? There is a time for everything. Spirituality is not bound to religion. Knowledge is not bound to religion. Liberation is not bound to religion. Self-realization is not bound to religion. The Self is not bound to religion, and God is not bound to religion. If that God made differences, then we would be lost. But He knows where is the dharma and where is the adharma. Dharma rakṣita rakṣitaḥ—one who protects dharma is protected by dharma. Kṛṣṇa said, "Arjuna, I am not fighting on your side because you are the son of my aunt. I am fighting because you are on the side of dharma. I am protecting dharma." Therefore, Sanātana Dharma is eternal dharma. No single religion can claim, "That is my religion alone." Yes, you can say it, we are also saying it. This is very important. When the Kālī Avatāra will come, he will know who is spiritual and who is not. At that time, oh humans, your money will not help you. Your tricky intellect will not help you. No, it is transparent. Spirituality brings the Nimit Avatāra. Then comes the Nitya Avatāra. We cannot wait until the whole Yuga is finished. How many times have we been born, and we are suffering. When will he come at the end of the Yuga? When he comes, the Yuga will change. Perhaps we will not see that change. We need help today. There was a man bitten by a snake. There are people who chant mantras, and the snake poison goes away. Or if you are bitten by a scorpion—the scorpion’s sting is more painful. When it stings, for 24 hours you feel your finger is in fire, with burning pain affecting all the glands. It is terrible. But there are some people... tageregen, tre tageregen, tre... Yes, it’s gone. Yogesh, you are a witness? He says he hasn’t seen it himself, but he knows many people who have these skills for snake bites. They can also give treatment. If you have a back problem or some ailment, I met one lady in Bengal. She said, "Just call me and tell me the name of the person, and I will do something, and that person will become healthy. But tell the person to give a few euros to the poor, or feed some birds." This is paramārtha. She uses a chapati roller, and she is doing it with that. It is not a joke, really. So, the man bitten by a snake went to a person who heals with mantra. That man said, "Yes, of course, I have mantras. But you have to wait until Sunday, because my mantra functions only on Sunday." The bite happened on Monday. "Wait until Sunday." The bitten man said, "You can come to my funeral." So when will Sunday come for the person beaten today by this scorpion? Therefore, the Nimit Avatāra comes at the end of the Yuga. But what about in between? We are suffering. Therefore, the Nitya Avatāra—the holy saints, called Santa—appear. There are many saints around the world, and everyone has their own master. A saint must be a living one, who can give you blessings from their spiritual lineage. If you don’t have the master, but the lineage is there, then it is finished. That is the end of that lineage. We may believe, of course we may pray—it is better than nothing—but you have to have a Saguṇa Guru Deva who strictly follows the steps of the Master. Otherwise, many of us just manipulate. We practice Yoga in Daily Life. Many yoga teachers say Yoga in Daily Life is too slow, that we should do something strong. That is not good. It means you have no confidence, so your classes will not go well. People can feel your uncertainty. The name is written "Yoga in Daily Life Center," but inside you are teaching aerobics. It is all stretching. Too much stretching is not healthy for your muscles and ligaments. In old age, everything will be hanging. Any part of the body will be dangerous because you will not have steadiness. Too much stretching is not good, but there are some extremist people. They do Paścimottānāsana, and the teacher comes and puts five kilos of sand on your back. After five minutes, he comes and puts ten kilos again, and then puts one foot on it, then both feet, until you go like that. You had back pain. You went to the yoga class to get rid of back pain, and you came out worse. Therefore, believe that Yoga in Daily Life is such a balanced system—safe and healthy. It is the healthiest, slow, and subtle. That subtlety is more powerful. Gandhi’s movement of Ahiṃsā, where they would not fight, was a subtle power, and it was stronger than weapons. The inside was not hiṃsā; inside was a fight. When you tell your husband, "Now what is that? What is the problem? What happened? Why are you like this?" and he doesn’t say anything, yes or no... Oh God, Mahāprabhujī, tell me. Open your mouth. It awakens your aggression. So this subtle power is also a very strong power. It is better to say something and have it over with, but you should say it with wisdom. Otherwise, as long as you didn’t speak, you are the wise one. When you spoke, we know how wise you are. So, this Nitya Avatāra is more important than the Nimit Avatāra. Neither the Nimit Avatāra nor the Nitya Avatāra has an easy life. But it comes to you naturally. You cannot take that position through your intellect, money, or power. You can try, but then it is blocked. That is very important to know. Therefore, the teaching of Yoga in Daily Life around the world, if you practice exactly, you will be very happy and will not have many troubles. But you are not satisfied. We want something adventurous. Yoga in Daily Life is not an adventure. Yoga in Daily Life is only advice and advance, not adventure. It is advanced yoga practice and satsaṅg. In this way, our beloved Satgurujī, Swāmī Madhavānandjī, was a Nitya Avatāra. His words were very kind, and whatever he said came true. Many, many people received blessings that came true. There is one example in the Czech Republic. Believe it or not, it is here. When Gurujī came in 1975, or perhaps ’80, we were in Friedrich’s Mistek. We were also in Ostrava, in Olomouc, and everywhere. In Friedrich’s Mistek, there was a bhakta couple who couldn’t have children. They asked Gurujī, and Gurujī said, "Okay, you will get one son." They got a son, and he is also a bhakta. His name is Janaka from Eda. Similarly, there was an Indian doctor in Vienna; he was working in Tyrol at the time, in a place called Vorgel. They had two daughters but wished very much for a son. I don’t know why everyone wishes for a son. So, girls, you are here without any wish—unwished, you are here, unwanted. But do you know why you are here? To save the boys, okay. So Gurujī blessed them. He said they would have a son, a bhakta, and they had to do something. They got a son, but then they lost the bhakti. They didn’t do what Gurujī said. The son became mentally ill and even died. There are a few such stories. I can tell you about one man. He hardly went to school—only in first and second class during festivals when he gave out sweet chocolates. He was from a poor family. Gurujī was going to Mumbai and told him, "Go to Mumbai." He met Gurujī there. Gurujī said, "Don’t worry. You will have enough money and everything." The man said, "But I didn’t study." Gurujī said, "No, it doesn’t matter. The people who study will be under you, working." And it is true. Now he has many, very beautiful shops. The name of the shop is "Beautiful." Gurujī said it was beautiful because when the man wanted to rent a shop, he asked Gurujī to see it. Gurujī said it was beautiful, so all his shops are named "Beautiful." Now he is a millionaire, with about 35 people working under him. Similarly, there is another one. You know Yogesh? He is a witness, that’s why I am asking him to say yes or no. What was the name of that person? Narendra, yes. So Guru Vākya, the words of Guru Dev, will come true. Gurujī said, "May the sun and moon change their direction, but the words of the saints will not go empty." The blessing of the saints will come true, or their curse will come true. Tulsidās said, "Rājā Agni Yogī Jal." Paraśurāmjī said, "Rājā Agni Yogī Jal Jānkī Ulṭī Rīt." Paraśurām was a great warrior, a holy saint, but he was very angry at dictators and kings. Paraśurām is also known as an incarnation and was the guru of Karṇa in the Mahābhārata. Paraśurāmjī said, "Rājā Agni, the king and the fire, Rājā Agni Jāl and Yogī. Rājā Yogī Agni Jala." So, a yogī, a saint, a king, fire, and water—be careful. Do not take them lightly. They can destroy you. Fire is very nice, but put your hand in it—it will not say, "Take it away." There is no love there, so distance is best. The same with water, a king, and a yogī. Therefore, the vākyas always come true. Where they walk or wish something, one day it will become true. Geographically, I know all of Czechoslovakia so well, thanks to traveling a lot. Thanks to Mahāprabhujī, I had a very comfortable car, a Trabant. Nothing went wrong. If something was not functioning, we opened the boot, did something like this, and it was a super car. When I crossed some villages or places, I would think or tell someone, "Here would be a good place for a yoga center." And there, a yoga center developed. You see how many flags are on your map? These are all places where I was and was thinking. When it comes from a pure heart, Gurū Dev blesses you, and it comes true. Many times I was thinking differently, and it came true. I said, "Mahāprabhujī, why like this?" He said, "You were thinking, and I told him always what Gurujī said: ‘What you may think, Mahāprabhujī will fulfill it.’" So I said, now what to do? Mahāprabhujī said, "Don’t think like that, that’s all." Definitely, Holy Gurujī was a Nitya Avatāra. His kindness, His humbleness, His devotion to Mahāprabhujī—it didn’t matter when, always from His mouth came, "Jīvanāra Bhagavān Kījā," complete oneness with Mahāprabhujī. If you asked Mahā Holī Guru in the name of Mahāprabhujī, "Please, can you give me this?" he was able to give anything. So you have to realize that divine in you. Though you are divine, you will not say that you are divine. You have to adore that divine which made you divine, which gave to you. Otherwise, it is not good. There was a Rākṣasa. Between Rākṣasas and Devas or humans, there is no physical difference. He went to perform tapasyā for many, many years—standing on one leg, praying, hanging from trees with his legs, praying to Śiva. God Śiva came. "Bless you, my son," He said. "Oh, Lord," said the Rākṣasa. God asked, "What do you wish?" The Rākṣasa replied, "If you are God, you need not ask me what I wish." Śiva said, "I know what you wish, but still I want to hear it from your mouth, because you can change. I didn’t ask you for it." So, careful. A doctor has to ask, "Can I give you an injection?" and you have to say yes. If you don’t answer, the doctor will not give it, because if something happened, you would say, "I didn’t tell you to give me an injection." But you people are getting more complicated. Therefore, you have to ask, "Do you want to eat?" and the other will say yes. If one doesn’t answer and you put the food in front of them... The wife brings good food and puts it in front of the husband. That’s it. You must ask. That is very important. The Rākṣasa said, "Lord, give me the power to stop the moon and sun." "No, no, that’s not possible." "Then give me some power, energy in my hands." "I can do that. What do you wish? Tell me, and I will give it." Śiva said, "Before telling me, I will not give you." "Okay, then give the energy in my hand. It doesn’t matter whose head I put my hand on, that head will explode like a bomb." Śiva said, "Bless you. Did I give it to you?" He said, "Yes." Śiva said, "I’m going." The Rākṣasa said, "No, no, you can’t go. I performed hard tapasyā, I called you, and in a few seconds you go. How should I know if you really gave me power or not?" So Śiva said, "You will know." "No, I want to try it on your head." "No, no, I want to try it, and it’s on your head." "Oh, for God’s sake," Śiva said. "I am too simple, so I give blessings quickly. My own blessing becomes a trouble for me." So Śiva ran away. He didn’t think to dematerialize because he had no time to say a mantra—"I am praying, hocus-pocus, pee in the pussy." Now Śiva is running, and behind him the Rākṣasa is running, heels up, heels down in the Himalayas. Snakes were hanging like this, and the moon was... Śiva had the triśūla in hand, a heavy triśūla, and His hair was falling down. Oh God, so jogging began from there—a marathon. There was a beautiful cave. Śiva was running so quickly, and He entered the cave. Inside, Viṣṇu was resting. Viṣṇu saw Lord Śiva. "My Lord, Sadā Śiva, Svayaṁ Bhū Śiva, Sadā Śiva, Svayaṁ Bhū Śivo. What great luck and fortune to have your darśana. Welcome." Viṣṇu said, "My lord, you look a little nervous and stressed." Śiva said, "Yes, Viṣṇu, yes, Viṣṇu..." So Viṣṇu said, "Please sit down and have a nice bowl of milk." Śiva said, "Viṣṇu, I am in trouble. Oh, Lord of the entire universe, when you are in trouble, what about us all?" "What happened?" Śiva told the whole story. Viṣṇu said, "Oh, no problem. Just relax." Śiva said, "Yes, no problem for you, but for me... The Rākṣasa will not leave me free." Bhagavān Viṣṇu said, "My lord, relax the whole body. Take a normal breath." Meanwhile, Lakṣmī brought nice milk. Śiva has His own pot, so He got milk. Viṣṇu went out where the Rākṣasa was coming, and Viṣṇu changed Himself into the form of a lady. You will see in many stories that Viṣṇu has to become, or became like, a woman. Also, when the ocean was churning and the Rākṣasas, Devas, and Asuras were fighting for the nectar, Viṣṇu came as Mohinī and confused both the Devas and the Rākṣasas. They forgot about the nectar, surprised by the beauty of this girl. You know the story further. So Viṣṇu became a beautiful girl—maybe she was 80 years old, because at that time 80 years was nothing; it could be some thousand years. We are the lucky ones; we finish very quickly, hurry home, and are born again. We are very quickly finished, and we can start over. In Satya Yuga, lifespans were thousands of years. Can you imagine thousands of years with your husband, who doesn’t want to talk to you? So Viṣṇu sat on a beautiful rock and began to dance. The Rākṣasa was running. "Śiva, where are you?" Suddenly he saw Viṣṇu, the girl. The Rākṣasa thought, "Oh, let Śiva go. This person is something beautiful. She is my wife." He stopped and asked, "Who are you?" "I am a Rākṣasa. And you?" "I am a temple dancer." "You are very beautiful." "Thank you." "I would like to marry you." "No problem." So the Rākṣasa relaxed. And Viṣṇu said there is one condition. "What?" "You have to learn to dance. Can you dance? Let us dance the Viennese waltz." The Rākṣasa said, "I never danced." "I will teach you, then we will marry." "Oh, yes. Can I come to you?" She said, "No, no. Before marriage, there is a distance. Go on that rock, and I am on this rock. I will move, and how I am moving, you have to move too." So, put the hand like this, and heels with the left leg. He was doing the left leg. "Oh, both." "Oh," he said, "Sarvahitāsan." And he said, "Oh, yes." The Rākṣasa did like this. Viṣṇu did like that. And then, like that, the Rākṣasa put his hand... Boom. Hari ho hum tatsa. And the Rākṣasa died. Viṣṇu came back. Śiva said, "What is it, Lord? I was worried about you." Viṣṇu said, "No, Lord, it’s okay. It took a few minutes more. It is very hard to remove your blessing." Śiva said, "Could you remove it?" "No, Lord. Your words are eternal words. How did you remove it?" "I removed the cause." "Cause how?" "Remove the cause with action." "What was that action?" "The power of the reaction destroyed the cause." Cause, action, reaction. Literally, this means there are some people who learn everything from you, then they want to destroy you. You taught someone a very nice business; now this person opens a shop just next door to you. Why don’t you do it on the next street? They want to take all the customers, but he or she will not be happy. It is your own actions and thoughts that will destroy you. Even if you are the president of the country, you are the child of your parents. Even if you have the siddhis to levitate, still, you are a disciple of the Gurudeva. Therefore, Guru Vākya, Guru Kṛpā goes through that. Therefore, Guru Dev, Guru Vākya, Guru Kṛpā goes through that. So, I wish you good night. Tomorrow evening will be satsaṅg. I hope it will be here. Tomorrow evening, I hope, satsaṅg will be here.
