Holy Guruji's Anniversary

Devotion is enshrined in knowledge; its value never diminishes.

Devotion enshrined in knowledge never diminishes, like gold broken into pieces retaining its worth. The presence of the great masters continues; their power moves forward, and you must receive the samskara they gave. A saint never comes or goes; the self is unborn, eternal, immortal—neither born nor dying at any time. The flame lit by the Divine is now illuminating the whole world through the guru lineage. Human birth on this land of sages and tapas is rare and precious. To have the darshan of saints in this land is a rare attainment, a great fortune. Without saints, the world would perish; their grace sustains all life. The garland offered is not of flowers but of purified minds, offered as light to the divine. Sanatana Dharma is the root of all paths; do not create divisions. The entire human race belongs to this eternal way; conspiracies may try to mislead, but truth remains. To kill one human is to kill all humanity—so teach the scriptures. Yet many do not read their own books, remaining ignorant of the wisdom within. True protection lies in living the eternal way, understanding one's own self. This small village has become a holy place, a saintly city known across the world. You are greatly fortunate to witness this gathering of saints, which is a rare fortune awakening the soul. Receive the blessings, offer your mind in devotion, and rest in the silence of the self.

"Break gold into a thousand pieces, its worth remains unchanged."

"Na jāyate, mriyate vā kadācin, nāyaṁ bhūtvā, bhavitā vā na bhuyaḥ."

That knowledge, that devotion, is enshrined in the knowledge. That devotion is enshrined in the knowledge. That devotion is enshrined in the knowledge. By the power of Guru Dev, a saint has spoken most beautifully: "Garībon kī musībat mein samajhnā, isko garībon kī musībat mein śarāfat kam nahīṁ hotī..." Karo saune ke sāth kudī par kīmat kam nahīṁ hotī. The value does not decrease. You may break one tola of gold into a thousand pieces, but the value remains the same as that of one tola of gold. The same presence that was within the revered Mahārāj Śrī exists even today—the same presence that was within Param Śraddhī Gurudev Svāmī Madhavān Jī Mahārāj. And that is why the power of Mahārāj Jī came in Svāmījī. And the power moved forward, and you should take the benefit of it. The saṃskāra given by Mahāraj Jī should come down in your life, that power should come down in your life, and you should take the benefit and move forward with these words. Thanking Mahāprabhujī very much, I give my body rest. Om Śānti Śānti... If we talk too much, then we will have to wait for a long time. So, to all the people sitting on the stage, Ācārya Śrī, Viśvagurū, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Śrī Svāmījī, Maheśvarānandajī, Bhagavadjī—koṭi-koṭi praṇām. And all those who have come from different places, from different countries, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Śrī Mahant, all of them, koṭi-koṭi praṇām. Praṇām. Pratap, aur desh dharma hita sūta kaṭavāḍe, aisī jaga mẽ māta kahā̃, aur us panna pe do śabda lika dhoom̐, ye Lakṣmaṇapurī kī okata kahā̃, us dharasa mẽ, Bhavajī ke yahā̃ caraṇoṁ ke andara, ham Mewāṛa kī hūra se, śraddhā, abhī. The garland that was worn was not a garland of flowers; it was a garland of good minds, a suman garland. Therefore, by making one’s own mind into a suman, the light is offered. That sumanahār, flowers can be spread anywhere, flowers can even be offered to a stone idol. Aisa, main bhi Mewārdhārā kī or se, āpkā sat sat abhinandan vandan. Yahā sant samāgam jo huā hai, uske lie karnā cāhtā ho. Vese kehne ko to, main bhī gāun kamal kamal nī candā or sitāron ko, main bhī gāun panghat margat ḍolī or kahāron ko. Jī cāhtā hai main bhī gāon, ghoṛī bhorī. Amrai, Shahjan Gaon, Sajne Gaon, Bansuriyaon Aur Shahnai. Par Bharat Ke Ghar Dek Kar, Hot Nahin Hil Paate Hain, Umar Umar Aata Hai Lava, Angare Dhar Jaate Hain, Angare Dhar Jaate Hain. In such a situation, if someone’s vision goes to someone else, then it goes to them, who live their lives, take care of themselves, and become śānt. Die on the side of the world. Man kha motī bāt, marano jāno, or sansār ke liye jeete hain, is deś kī saṁskṛti ke liye, dharm ke liye, adhyātma ke liye, mā yānī nahī, dhāv yānī jo dūrnā. Jo doortā nahīṁ hai, aur bethe bethe hī, jo ānanda ko pā jāte haiṁ, us sākṣiyat kā nām, Madhva Nanda hotā hai. Mātā Dhava Ānanda, is pīṭha ke upara, ham yahāṁ para haiṁ. Yahāṁ videśī log dekhne āte haiṁ Patru kī kārigirī ko. Tara se vekho, aur jo mūrdhanoṁ ke upara śumarika bane haiṁ. Unko dekh dekh kar ke wawa wawa karte hain, wo śūnyarūpī sādhu hote hain. Chahe Tāj Mahal ho ya aur ho, lekin jadān kā jo cetanatā kā śūnyarūpī hai, viśva vahāṁ se cetanatā kī ātmā kī jyoti, preraṇā lekar ke jāegā. When I came to Udaipur, I was introduced, and a fourteen-year-old girl from Saipras or Vienna, Ātmānand Purī, sang a bhajan. "Man Lago Guru Charanan Mein"—Meera’s bhajan was sung. Then I stood up and said to Gurujī, "If you liked it, then you must have given Meera a jhērā, and you must have done something." He Om, Sabhī Sant Samāj kī Caraṇārvind meṁ koṭī śe koṭī Naman. Āpke Samāne meṁ kyā Keh Saktāhoṁ, Kyā Batā Saktāhoṁ? Merā To Āpke Caraṇoṁ meṁ Sadev Aisā Hī Prem Banā Rahe, Āpkā Āśīrvād Banā Rahe. Yehi Āpekṣā Kartā Hūṁ Aur Mujhe Jo Sobhāgya Prāpt Huā. I would like to tell you a little about that: in the Hindu Dharma Smṛti, I stayed near Swami Madhavānanda Purījī Mahārāj for about a month, that is, I remained at his holy feet. Ki wo mahāpuruṣ jo hain, theh nahī̃ kahū̃gā, main hain. Kyõki ātmā to āp sabhī jānte hain, ajar amar avināśī hain. Isī lie merā yeh sobhagya hai ki āp Śrī ke Śrī caranoṁ mein rehne kā mujhe sobhagya prāpt huā. Uske bād main Svāmījī Mahārāj kā to... Ananya Prem Hai, Aap Kā Āśīrvād Hai. Āp Hī Ke Karṇāmo Se Vahāṁ Sujāṅgad Meṁ Bhī Jo Śrī Kāśī Purīśwar Mahādev Mandir Kā Prāṇapratiṣṭhā Mahotsav Thā, Vo Āp Hī Ke Karṇāmo Dvārā Vahāṁ Virajman Huā. And I hope, I wish that your blessings will always remain, and with these words, thank you, and a full pranāma at the feet of all the saints and society. Pratiṣamanya Gurudev Swāmīśrī Mahādvanandajī Mahārāj’s today’s idol-shaping ceremony is attended by all the sages present at the feet of the saints. And all the brothers and sisters are present at the feet of the saints. This is the land of India, the land of sages. This is the land of tapas. And on this earth of India, first of all, this human birth is very rare. The great fortunate human beings, the great fortunate beings who are living, that creature gets a human birth on this earth, on this world, and in that. Human life also, where this earth of India is the earth of ṛṣis, where the earth of tapas is, where the saints with their tapas and tapasyā, on this land where the deities are also present, and today this Gopāṣṭamī, which is the meditation of Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, is very beautiful today—the day on which Pūjya Gurudev, Viśvaguru, Svāmī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Meśvarānandajī has established a Bhavya of his Pūjya Gurudev, Mahāndvarānandajī Mahārāj, which is the Gopāṣṭamī. Parasthī ke upar adharma kā nāś karke vapas dharma kī stāpanā kī, sādhu jano kī rakṣā kī, aur āj ke dina gau mātā kā. Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa ne gau pālan karne kā jo rāmā avatāra ke andar bhagavān ke hṛdaye me ek vāsanā rehatī thī, ke main rāj-kula ke andar avatārit hone ke. Karan Gau Mata Ki Me Seva Nahi Kar Paya. Aur Vohi Bhagavan Ko, Parampita Parmeshwar Ko Vapas Krishna Ke Rukh Me Yadav Kul Ke Rupme Aur Gai Mata Ki Seva Karne Ke Liye Autrit Huye. Aur Aaj Ke Dini Bhagawan Sri Krishna Vachan liyata karke vidhā kyā tā? Dhyāna denā bhaiyo behni, āj santon ke carṇa me. And that too on the land of Bhārat, and within Bhārat, to have the darśana of saints at the feet of saintly persons, and to receive the satsaṅg of saintly people—this is a rare attainment in human life. By the grace of the world-teacher, Mahādvānandjī Mahārāj, today you and all of us have the darśana of saints. And saints, on this holy occasion, today we have awakened, we are all very fortunate. So much, even so, I give rest to my speech. Hari Om Tat Sat, Hari Om Tat Sat... Viśvānī devaḥ savitā duritānī pārasuva yad bhadraṁ tan na āsuva. Oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ... Oṁ Bholē Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai, Bholē Param Śraddhā Svāmī Madhavānanda Purījī Mahārāj Kī Jai, Bholē Param Ādarṇīya Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvarānanda Purījī Mahārāj Kī Jai. Aaj ek nahī, kai kai kāre sāth mein chale. Abhī abhī Swāmījī Mahārāj batā rahe the. And Param Śraddhā Svāmījī Mahārāj’s purity was and still is. Today, we people believe that a saint does not go anywhere. He neither comes nor goes anywhere. "Na jāyate, mriyate vā kadācin, nāyaṁ bhūtvā, bhavitā vā na bhuyaḥ." What power does a dagger have that it could even inflict one wound? Tera hi hai khayal ki ghail hua hai tu. Jis marne se jag dare, mere man anand. Marni hite paiye purna parma kalki baat lag rai. Jaisa Swāmījī Mahārāj, amlogun ke saathi de, aur aaj amlogun ke bichvi nahi hai. Lekin aaj bhi wo kahin gaye nahi hai. The flame which Lord Dīp Nārāyaṇa lit at this place, that flame was further illuminated by Param Śraddhā Mādhavānandajī Mahārāj, and that same light was spread throughout the entire world by our Dharm Jagat’s superstar, Swāmijī Maheśvarānandajī Mahārāj. And I believe that you are the great fortune of the Nepali people. Today, your small village is not an ordinary village. We understand that this has become the religious city of the whole world, the saintly city. You are so fortunate. Otherwise, did anyone know your village? Is there anything called Nippal? There is no one on the map, I think, in Rajasthan. But not even in the paper. The paper goes to Nepal, Nepal. He Kevalam, agar par sant na hote jagat meṁ, to jal martā sansār. Ye āj jo āp log, hum sab jindā haiṁ, santon kī kripā se jindā haiṁ. Isliye to hum log mānte haiṁ: sadhu darśanam, pāṇyam, tīrtha bhūt, ahi sadvā, baḍā sobhagya hai. Ke āj āp logon ke upar badī kṛpā santon kī bhī huī hai, itne bade mahātmā, mahāpuruṣa, dekho bhāī, inka darśan karnā hī badā durlabha hai. Bas ant me Svāmī Rām ek bāt kahā karte the, "Lo śamā hoī rośana, lo āgaye pravāṇe." Arre, andāj to acchā hai, anjaṁ Prabhu jāne, Holī Sacchidānanda Bhagavāne. Śrī Guru caraṇa prāta pe puṇya pā pe jalāle, tribhuvana samā terā the, jñāna Gaṅgā milāle. Guru ānanda guru maima ānand, ānand kya upakāra, lochan ānand ughāriyā, Anant dikhā vanhārā. Today, we are enjoying this moment of joy. To speak on this stage, Mahārāj Jī has ordered me to welcome all these Sant Vraṇḍas from the village of Nīpal in a very important way. So I would like to invite all the villagers of Nipal, all the villagers of Chhattisgarh, to come and sit on the stage of our Sūrya Se Prakāśit Sant Vṛnda, about which our speech cannot be spoken much. This is a celestial nymph, who will come again and again, with powerful claps. This is a moment of union. With this moment, let us all once, with a powerful victory cry, hail Bhole Swāmī Madhavānandjī Mahārāj: Jaya! I will request you quickly, because the time has been given, that you quickly wear the garland of these great saints and welcome them. Mujhe Swagat Ko Dekar Ek Pangti Yad Aari Hai, Fakiro Ki Nigau Me Ajab Taasir Hoti Hai... To humāre gāṁvāloṁ ke liye bahutī param sobhagya hai ki is Nipāl gāṁv ko, jo chhoṭā Nipāl jātī thī, vah ab Nipāl pūre viśva meṁ vikhyāt hai. So, all the representatives of our village’s 36 communities, from the village panchayat Nipāl, all the saints are being welcomed. I request that all the saints’ garlands, flowers, and any gifts you have received from the villagers. This is a spiritual lecture about Yoga in the Indian tradition. So I would like to request Chandan Bhai to do a little bit of leadership. Babaji is being welcomed by the Jagrāti Mañch Garg Samāj. Babājī’s order is that this welcome is done by Śaṅkarācārya Jī Mahārāj, with a loud applause, with a loud applause in the paṇḍal, with a loud applause, with a loud applause in the paṇḍal, with a loud applause, with a loud applause, with a loud applause in the paṇḍal, Śaṅkarācārya Jī Mahārāj kā pāñc parganā. Pañca Pargaṇa Samiti, jo ki in sabhī pratinidhiyo ke dvārā svīkṛta kiyā jā rahā hai, main nivedan karūṅgā Chandan Bhai Garg Sāhab se, thodī sī vyavasthā dhurast karai. Vyavasthā ke hisāb se, iske bād maiṁ prasādī kī vyavasthā santon ke lie alag alag akhāṛā meṁ court vāloṁ ke hisāb se kī jāegī, sāth hī. Bapuji, as I have been ordered, Bapuji has said that the food system has been done according to the caste system in the pandal. This caste system is only so that this system runs well, and all the different chambers of the society have been made. This is a spiritual lecture about Yoga in the Indian tradition. If the vision of that consciousness is attained, then your welfare will be achieved. And all devotees and loved ones, and my venerable mother Sumitrā Singh Jī, my dear uncle-guru, Śrī Lakṣmī Nārāyaṇ Paṇḍit Jī Badīkhāṭū, he is indeed my uncle-guru, all residents of Nīpālgrām, all the devotees who have come, I am very grateful to Nīpal village. In this way, Nepal is like my birthplace because it is my ancestral home. So, because of being a nanyal, my birthplace is this, where the mother is born, that is the birthplace of the son. This Dharm Nagri Nipal, all the brothers and sisters here are great dharma ātmās. And the way he welcomed all of you, for this I call him a very hardik sadhuvaad. Today, our beloved Gurudev, Hindu Dharm Samrāṭ, Śrī Svāmī Madhavānand Purījī Mahārāj’s ninth pūrṇya tithī has arrived. So, it took me nine years to prepare for today. Purījī Karatā Mahāprabhujī Karatā He Kevalam. With the help of the nearby villages, this work has been very successful. For this, at the feet of Param Pūjya Gurudev, crores and crores of śāṣṭāṅg daṇḍavat. Our Param Pūjya Mahāmaṇḍaleśwar, our Mahant Śrī Chetangirījī, and Dharmarakṣak Dharmācārya, Śaṅkarācārya, crores and crores of them are bowing to him. Śaṅkarācārya, Śaṅkarācārya... Śaṅkarācāryajī ke dil meṁ kitnā dharad hai Bhārat kī saṁskṛti ke liye aur Sanātan Dharm ke liye. Us dharad ko pragat karne ke liye Śaṅkarācāryajī ne kitne apne vākya śabda kā prayog kiyā hogā. Lekin usī ko batāne ke liye ham kahte hai ki Hanumān nahīṁ hai. Jo sīna cheer ke batā sakte hai ki Rām hamare hirde meṁ hai, so we don’t have the strength right now to say that we are the protectors of this religion and the country in which religion was created. There is no such country in the world today that is without religion. When it comes to our country, they say that we are secular. So what is our religion? It is non-religious. Now he did one more thing in Nepal. If Nepal and India do this, then what does it mean? There is a saying in Marwāḍ: "What does a daughter do to a daughter-in-law?" The attempt is to make India right, but it is not right. It is trying to destroy our culture. Mahāprabhujī Karatā Mahāprabhujī Karatā He Kevalam. Gandhījī Kā Yehi Vicār Thā Ki Hamāre Deś Mein Koī Dharma Āpas Mein Laṛe Nai, Isī Liye Kahatā Ke Dharma Nirpekṣa. Jitnā Śaṅkarācārya Jī ke hirde meṁ dard mujhe sunāī de rahā thā, isse sāī 500 guṇā jyādā dard mere hirde meṁ hai. Kyō ki maine 42 bār Pārthī kī parikramā karke dekhā. He was talking about our country, how those religious people were firing their arrows in the Mahābhārata war. We are sitting inside the country, and we don’t know what is happening. If you are conscious, then you can still know what is happening. So this is a political party, not a political party. We are not talking about politics; we are talking about Sanātana Dharma. The entire human race, within the entire world, is a part of the eternal Sanātana Dharma. Do not make this distinction, because Śaṅkarācārya Jī said that the whole world is one, and all humans are one. Such are the conspiracies through which our country is led astray. Śaṅkarācārya jī ne ek śabda kahā thā, "Buraṇ haṭṭiyā main Sayugdrashtra mein kai bār jātā hoon, vār Sayugdrashtra kā main special advisor hoon. Merā vahāṁ program hotā hai, to jab kabhī mailāo ke bāre mein samānad hotā hai." Tab wo mujhe aṅgulī se batā diyā ki Mahārāj āpke deś ke andar bṛṇhatyā viśeṣ karke. Iss se bad karke kyā badā pāp hogā? Kyā āpkā Hindu dharma? Kaitā Hai Ki Brahmahatyā Kar Sakte Ho? Kabhi nahī, dhanyavād meṁ detā hūṁ pure Viṣṇu meṁ ek aisī samāj yā dharm, vo hai Islām, kabhī bhī bhrūṇhatyā ko svīkār nahīṁ kareṅgī. Yeh maiṁ unko bār-bār unko dhanyavād detā hūṁ. Agar isī tarah āp log bhī samajh jāye, to vo hamārā dharm bach jāyegā, hamāre deś kī saṁskṛti bach jāyegī. The Qur’ān states that if you kill one human being, you have killed all of humanity. Those extremists are not Muslims. They fight with each other, but they do not have the true essence of Islam within them. They haven’t read the Qur’ān carefully. Just like you people have read the Quran carefully after seeing the Vedas. How is it that the Vedas are written in the Quran? But who has read it? It is like singing a bhajan at night. There is no one. Why is it written in the Vedas? What is written in the Vedas? What is written in the Vedas? What is written in the Vedas? Akhāṛā ne akā gare de pīranira gadkā ke das Kabīr sant gadkā. So we don’t even know what is written in our books. Sanātana Dharma is the root of all dharmas. Sanātana Dharma is the main path. The other path is the stick. Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā... Dakṣa nahī̃ kar pāyenge, ant me phir santon ko hī vapas sambhalnā paḍegā. To āj Bābjī kī puṇṇī tithi haĩ. Voh kaĩ kevāy ke bhuke bhajan nive Gopālā, ātharī kāntī mālā mātāon kaĩ. Sādhu log subhe darā, halvā khāyī darā, halvā pacāyī gonī pān ganā janā re. Peṭh me kukriyā bolhiyā hai. To aisa hai ki, hamārī gā̃võ ne... There is such a system of work that is there in Tambu for our Chaudhary community, Meghwal community, Chaukidar community, Brahmins community, for all communities, it is different, it is open like this, everyone is sitting together, but this is in between so that if any of you have come from outside, you can also sit together and have food. We are Nīpāḷvāle, we are Nīpāḷvāle... We are Nīpāḷvāle, Atāthe hai, and they are our guests. Therefore, we should take care of all of them. All of you first take prasāda, after that I will do praṇāma, that I have come here to speak. Mana hi thodi bhok lagi hai, rog jo mati, thangare maare ki nahi diabetes wala, Maharaj beta, sugar down vegi, toh koi ta maam lo gharwar ve jai la. Pranaam, Pranaam. There will be no one among these saints who is a resident saint. Say, Sanātana Dharma Kī Jai, Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jai. One minute more. Wait, wait, wait. The garland has come. Never give up the garland.
