Christmas Satsang From Vienna

Christmas Satsaṅg is a gathering of the spiritual family to celebrate light and connection.

This time is for being with loved ones and remembering the incarnation of light and love. The community comes together from many places, sharing experiences and gratitude. Life is a flowing river, and such gatherings reunite us. Words are powerful karma; they do not return and shape destiny. Modern media connects the global family, allowing positive messages to spread everywhere. The work is carried forward by many dedicated souls. The inner divine light must be nurtured and shared to change the world.

"Through our webcast, through Swāmījī TV, through YouTube and so on, the message that we give—positive, negative—anyone can give."

"One thing I would like to tell... Swāmījī is the one who brings this again together, who brings our soul, unites it first with all that we have experienced."

Filming location: Vienna, Austria

Part 1: Christmas Satsaṅg: A Gathering of the Spiritual Family Satsaṅg with Śrī Ramana Maharṣi, Jīvanamukta, Parama Kripālu, Rāga, Dveṣa... Śyāmā Esā Rāma Esā Dayālu Esā Rāma Esā Amṛta Bindu Hṛdaya Sāgara Gaja Indra Jaisā... Dhyāna dare śiva śeṣa. Every second window. We are all still here. December 21 is over, and we can be together, celebrate satsaṅg, and continue our sādhanā. Today is a special day. Swāmījī is with us again and celebrates Christmas satsaṅg with us. I would like to give you a few thoughts about Christmas and Christmas Satsaṅg. Last Thursday, we talked about Christmas, and something that stuck in my mind was that Christmas is also the time when you should spend time with loved ones, where you can take time again with loved ones, families, friends—the people who are in your heart, to have time to spend time. And probably 2,000 years ago, according to the transmission, a great incarnation appeared or came to the world, Jesus Christ. It is also to remember a little bit that the background of the birth of Christmas is a great incarnation, an incarnation of light and love, is and was. Today is the day when we are all supposed to speak. So maybe one after the other. Alexander, you are the first to stand up and say something. You are the next, okay? Please. Alexander: Dear friends, dear brothers and sisters, welcome to Vienna. We have a very special occasion. Swāmījī is with us. We should be aware that it is something very special, not something normal, something natural. And even if we know, of course, that he is in our hearts, his light, his love accompanies us, it is something very, very special to have him here, just before Christmas, to have the festival of love and light with us, and, as far as I am informed, to be with us again tomorrow. This is a very special occasion, of course. I have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years now, 19 years of which have been with Swāmījī. And I can only say that my life has become very, very rich because of it. I have gained a whole dimension in my life, and my life has become colorful and beautiful. And it makes me happy. Yoga Sister: I’m not as long as Alexander, already a yoga sister, but I have to say, life enriches me a lot now. Thank you, Swāmījī. And it is especially very, very nice at Christmas that we come together despite all the hectic and consider ourselves essential. Swāmījī: Four disciples, and she’s an opera singer. She’s coming from Argentina, but living nearly more than 70% of her life here. She has a lot of talent for languages. She speaks the Czech language. She speaks Spanish. She speaks English. She speaks Dutch. She speaks Portuguese and a little bit of Greek, and, you know, she’s a very talented person, a very famous person. The Landestheater in Salzburg is where she has worked for many, many years. So many of us know her, and many don’t know her. Danke. Marta, Flor ist yours. Marta: Ah, okay. Then it’s not my problem, but Swāmī, there are many people here, many of our friends, who prefer us to speak in English. I have been very blessed my whole life. Argentina has been a very nice country to be born in. Now I am in Austria, and I am also Austrian, and this is a very great blessing. For a singer, of course, I am here at home because of the music, because of Mozart, because of all that we are irradiating in the world through the music. It’s a very great blessing to have Swāmījī in our country and living here most of the time. So we are blessed in many senses: the music, the art, the beauty, the culture of this country, and these great souls that are coming to join us here. So we shall try, in this very difficult time for the world and for humanity, to deserve this privilege. It is a privilege to deserve to be in this country in Europe, in peace, and having quite a wonderful life that Austria is offering to us. We shall be very thankful to have Swāmījī here with us, and this is a very big blessing that we... I wish you all a very nice Christmas and a very, very happy, peaceful New Year, full of wonderful spiritual events. All the best to you all, and until next time. Amen. Swāmījī: You can sing one Christmas song. Marta: Yes. He is always, he is always compelling me to sing, since we met so many years ago. He has no pity with me, and I don’t know really what shall I sing. You sing with me, please, and then it will be okay. Yes, "Stille Nacht," perhaps all together, yeah. Swāmījī: Her name is Prem Lattā, no, yoga name, yes. I met her in Czechoslovakia in 1974, and since that time... We are working together, and her mother, she was such a beautiful soul, such a beautiful person. We didn’t see each other physically, but we were together a lot in thinking. She is coming from a very high family. She invited me many times to Argentina, but somehow, still, my... Destiny didn’t allow. Maybe sometimes there are few people who are teaching yoga and their life, but does there? So who knows? Thank you. Of course, at the same time, we have a very permanent person also. He’s been so many years with me as the master. And of course, you are all very disciplined ones, but also an example for all of us was a disciplined practicing every day. It doesn’t matter how it is, and that is, he’s a pillar of our yoga and daily life. He’s a founder of yoga and daily life, and that is our dear brother, I’ve forgotten his name, I think, no? Yes, Kṛiyānanda, please give him the mic there. We welcome Kṛiyānanda. It is on. Yeah. Kṛiyānanda: Yes, it’s just one year since I’ve been invited by Swāmījī to sit side by side with him. And he asked me to sing, but I said if I start singing like this, probably the whole hall will be empty in a short time. Never mind, that’s just a joke. But I’m sorry that I cannot move in front because my left leg is still a bit, not quite a happy consistency. I need a third leg, so this Annapūrṇā is still with me. And she will give me a hand if necessary. So anyway, since Swāmījī said 1975 is quite a long time, 75 is quite a long time, and I just have problems counting back to this time all day. Anyway, this time there were about seven or eight people when we started grounding as a group of yoga people for the second time in Austria, because one year ahead, in ’74, by one way or another, it was dispersed. And I started with Swāmījī’s and Katharina’s help. We started again, and Swāmījī, of course, was full of life, full of enthusiasm. We only had to listen to what he was telling, and he told us quite a few things. At this time, I was about 75 years old, and he gave me a lot of help for the last 35 years. And by one way or the other, my left leg will be improved in some time. I will do, as Ramīcī said, every morning some exercise, some training goes worse or better. But anyway, I hope next time I can sit in front or stay in front again. And I wish you, all of you, and there are many, many people of yoga I remember from the last 20, 30 years. And sorry to say, I was also missing some of those people last year. Eddie was still with us, and now he also left us this year, so it was a pleasure to me to see you once again. I’m sorry, last Thursday I tried to come, but by one way or the other, I need still some help, and that stick didn’t give me the right help, so I had to turn back to my home, and in mind I was thinking of all of you, and especially of Ślāmīcī and his helping to give all this. Many, many years his best, and I think there is no morning, no evening, where I do not thank God, Mahāprabhujī, Devapurījī, Swāmījī, Gurujī, all those who had given us the possibility to sit here in this hall, because it was immense, tremendous since this time, so thank you so much for listening to me, and thank you Swāmījī for these words. And I will see, I hope so, sometime again, someplace, sometime. And well, up to now I cannot stand, but I will see. So, thank you once again. Swāmījī: Thank you. Thank you, Kṛiyānanda. Question of Śepan? Yes. Śepan: Well, today is a family festival, a family event, what we call Christmas. And we are one big family which belongs to Yoga and Daily Life, Śrī Alagapurī Siddhāpīṭ Paramparā. The yoga and daily life has covered, meanwhile, the entire globe. As our dear Marta told us, it is beautiful to be in a country like Austria, I do believe. And our neighboring countries are also more beautiful than we think. But Austria, and especially our Austrian spiritual brothers and sisters, are helping and supporting all the yoga institutions around the world. They are monitored, taken care of, and supported by our international fellowship: Śrī Svāmī Madhavānanda International Fellowship, Yoga and Daily Life. And our present president of the fellowship is also more than 25 years practicing yoga and daily life. He developed his spiritual consciousness very much, and his family, he has four beautiful sons. I wish that he could have one more, but I think it’s too late now. Then it will become like the five Pāṇḍavas. So, our dear president of Śrī Svāmī Madhavānand World Peace, the fellow Yoga and Daily Life Fellowship, Mansukram, originally made in Germany and functioning in Austria and throughout the whole world, so I would like to welcome him. Please, President, come to the front and say a few words. President: Yes, I am very happy to be here today together with my whole family. Rarely do we have the opportunity to spend this day, the 4th Advent, with Swāmījī. The fourth light is burning. Many of us are waiting for tomorrow’s holy evening. Especially, of course, the children are full of expectations and very excited about what the Christ Child will bring them tomorrow. In Austria, they say the Christ child. I learned about Christmas back then in Germany... was es auch in Indien an Mahāprabhujīs Licht, und lasst es niemals ausgehen. Hari Om. Swāmījī: Thank you. Nowadays, we are living in the time of the electronic media, getting day by day complications as well as the good things, the facilities. We can’t imagine that our life can be without the electronic media, communications. In the Vedas it is said, "Vāsudeva Kuṭumbakam," the whole world is one family. But how to bring the whole world family under one roof, one ceiling? And that is nowadays, for example, like our webcasts around the whole world, in the cities, in the villages, in the forest, at the beach, and as well as on the boat, on the big ships, they are looking, these webcasting satsaṅgs, and they are listening to all that you are speaking. For this, who is managing that, one of our dear guru brothers is Ātampurī, but he is not here today. I think his wife and children were in a strike. But at the same time, our very hard worker, who tried to bring this positive message and take care of this, is our dear Rāmpurī. He is also made in Germany and functioning, acting in Austria for the whole world. The Rampuri and our dear Mansukram are both coming from North Germany, Hamburg. We have many great souls, many great workers, like our dear Dayā Sādhvī, Saroj, and Amrit, Mantra, Dīvālī, etc. So I would like to welcome and invite here our dear Rāmpurī, if he can tell us some words. Rampuri, please come. Thank you. Swāmījī: Of course, it’s not only Vienna, Austria, or Germany, but there are also great Karma Yogīs sitting here from around the countries. Here, and I would like also to invite our Mohan Purī, who has been for several years the president of Croatian Yoga and Daily Life, Mr. President, ex-president, and Mohan Purī is coming here. Of course, you can speak in Croatian, no problem. Mohan Purī: Everybody, my English is very bad, maybe somebody... God is very happy that there are more and more of us. We are undestroyable. He believes that each one of us feels a bigger and bigger love for all of us, but for Swāmījī also. He is sure that each one of us is growing all the time, more and more. As Swāmījī said once, someone asked him, "Well, you know, I’m doing Kriya for such a long time, but I cannot see any specific change." And then Swāmījī said, it’s like a big pool of water, basically dirty water. So, it’s a big bucket, a big pool of dirty water, and with each meditation, we pull a bucket of it out, you know, from this pool. That’s Kriya. You can’t see, you cannot see that the, you know, this, how do you say, the level of water is falling down. But in time, it definitely falls down. So, for surely, during the time, we grow always more and more. Happy Christmas to everybody. Thank you very much. Thank you, Mohan Purī. Swāmījī: Thank you very much. I am the president of the Śrī Svāmī Madhavānand World Peace Council. He had to go urgently somewhere in a small room. He will come very soon. Until then, we have our great bhakta, great karmayogī, our dear sister Mantra Purī from Hamburg, the president of Yoga and Daily Life. The next is Otelka Amrit Purī from Praslava. Mantra Purī: Praṇām Swāmījī, praṇām dear brothers and sisters. I’m also coming from Hamburg, and it’s always a pleasure how heartily we are welcomed here, even from far away. One thing I would like to tell, I was this weekend also in Strylki, and in Strylki it was a very beautiful and very blessed time. One thing touched me very much: Swāmījī was speaking about how we are all, in a way, split into pieces, so our souls and our experiences, they tear us in many, many different directions, and in my experience, Swāmījī is the one who brings this again together, who brings our soul, unites it first with all that we have experienced, and then he is the one who creates the relation, the relation to ourselves, the relation to him, and like this, the relation to our origin, our source, Śrī Mahāprabhujī, and like this, for my feeling, this is how yoga and daily life is functioning, so that we come, come back inside, you will speak, and we, and we unite. So I wish you all the best for the coming time also with your families and with your environment, with your friends, and hope to see you all again soon. Hari Om. Swāmījī: 43 years in Europe, definitely many great bhaktas, friends whom I met. And they are still with us. They are witnesses of our development of yoga in daily life. Systematically, scientifically, it is a message gone around the world, and millions of people have gotten benefit from this, and they are getting. That we can see through our beautiful program, what we call YouTube, and if our dear Kṛpā Devī from Philak is here, from Spital, the Drao, Philak, Sikanu, Sathwajar, Chil, and through that we can see how much message went around the world, how many people benefit from yoga and daily life. And not only this, but thousands of them are teaching and getting benefit out of yoga and daily life, enjoying their spiritual life and healthy life, and also guiding others. It is not only that we are sitting here in Strelka, we have a big hall, more than 1,500 people on the waiting list. Here in Gurujī’s Ashram in Vienna, the hall is also full. But not only that, these are only the organizers or devotees. There are many who can’t come, and they have their own families and programs, but they practice, and they are teaching. So in this way, in 43 years of my experiences, which I will tell a little after. So they were near Amritpurī, coming from Slovakia. I met her in early 1974 in a place called Czechoslovakia, Kopna, the very beautiful hut they call Khāṭā, near the Gotvaldova, now they call Jlin. The Amrit Purī, I can tell you, she went through many, many hard times. And she was carrying with her, full of the suitcases, the books and the lectures of Mā Prabhujī, which I gave the lectures. And her three daughters, small beautiful girls, sometimes they didn’t have a proper flat, they moved somewhere, but the first thing, her concern was to carry that light of Mahāprabhujī and his divine teachings. I think she was one of the great workers, pillars, and organizers in Czechoslovakia as well as in Slovakia. In Slovakia, also very much worked and helped our one of the dear Anicka Anandamurthy from Pistiani. She organized many, many programs, and of course there’s from Martin and so many others, but Hotel Guy is the first one whom I knew better in Slovakia. So, I think she can tell a few words if she wants to do so. You can stand up. Amrit Purī: But with you, it was even harder, but more beautiful. When I read the first time the biography of Mahāprabhujī in such a self-explanatory translation, which was also hard to read, I asked myself, why do people multiply? Because it cannot be true. Life showed me that everything, everything that is there, can be true, and I experienced many things on my own skin. And when it is hard for me, I often remember Swāmī Jīho’s words... Děkujem, Swāmījī. I am all the time very thankful to him and for his promotion to all of us. Thank you. Swāmījī: So what is it when you come to the park, or if you have a house with a garden, or you come to India, especially in the desert part where there are fewer trees. You see the banyan trees, especially in Khaṭṭū or Kailāsh Ashram. About 15 minutes or half an hour before sunset, not only hundreds, but thousands of birds come on these beautiful trees of Kailāsh Āśram, Khatṭū Āśram. And of course, in Jordan, there are many thousands of trees, so they have more accommodation. Similarly, when they come, one holy saint said, "Oh, my dear one, even the animals and birds are singing the glory of God morning and evening." When they come together in the evening, you see how happy the birds are, flying from one branch to another, singing, sitting, as if they are celebrating the day, how it was. Similarly, such holy festivals, holy events, it may be religious, cultural, social, the families come together and speak something about the life experiences. Life is a river, and that river has many curves, but the spirituality between is the water which flows. The river has a curve, not the water. And that river has a long, long way. So this life is a journey, not a destination. Definitely, it will come to the destination. Long ago, not so long, but more than 20, 22 years, 24, more than that. One day Dr. Shanti told me, Sādhvī Shanti, we were sitting somewhere and talking, and she said that she went to one lecture and someone spoke, a psychologist, that life is like a river which is flowing, the water all is flowing together. But suddenly comes an island in the middle of the river, and the water is divided. Half goes to one side, the other goes to the other side. But nevertheless, after the island ends, then again the water goes together. Similarly, in our life, sometimes an island comes, a rock comes, and divides. But again, it is our confidence, faith, love, and devotion that bring us together again. Similarly, such events are those where we all come together and we share our happiness and our joy, being one in oneness. So in this way, it is said that the world has power, the world has absolute power, the world has authority. This is the jñāna indriyas. After the jñāna indriyas, it comes the karma indriyas. And in karma indriya, the words, the speaking, is also karma indriya. We do karma through four things: Tan, man, bachan, or dhan. Tan means body, man means mind, bachan means words, and dhan means our material richness, property, or position. This form, through which we create the karma, and in this form, the most powerful, most powerful working tool is the words. It is said three things do not come back: the bullet from the gun, the soul from the body, and the words which are spoken will not come back. It will come back in the way of destiny. Therefore, through this beautiful work and information, as I said about media, so, through our webcast, through Swāmījī TV, through YouTube and so on, the message that we give—positive, negative—anyone can give. We say the media has power nowadays, and if they would use their power for positive things, the world would look different. So, in our YouTube videos and all our programs, we deliver messages with full love, understanding, and kindness. We have mercy in our heart. We follow everyone’s aid in every holy scripture. Do not do to others what you do not like to be done to you. Therefore, it is said, "Sabhi prāṇī merī ātmā hai," all creatures are my ātmā, myself, not Saul only, myself. Ātmā sohī paramātmā, and that ātmā is the paramātmā, the highest one. Brahma Satya Jagat Mithya, Vedānta says the ultimate truth is that Brahman is real; this world is unreality. Reality is that which is everlasting, and unreality is that which is changing. We live in a world of changes, but still we try to give positive messages, positive support, and positive thoughts through the activities of Śrī Svāmī Madhavānanda and the World Peace Council, through our international Śrī Svāmī Madhavānanda Fellowship, Yoga and Daily Life, as well as through yoga and daily life, many bhaktas, many brothers and sisters, they are working, and without them, of course, I’m lost, or I can’t do this all. So it is like five fingers in one hand when they come. Part 2: A Time of Light and Connection May we all become strength together. I pray to the Almighty for everyone’s good health, happiness, and joy. May this divine time, this period we call Christmas—though I do not know if Jesus was truly born yesterday, tomorrow, on the 7th of January, or another date, as his astrological birthday is different—but that is not important. The essential fact is that he was born, or incarnated, and he brought a positive message to the world. Similarly, we also strive to bring a positive message to the world. We are working hard. The friends from Assisi, holy men, faced many troubles. People threw stones at them and spat on them, calling them crazy. Yet today we pray to them. This is very, very important: that we work for Pūjījī. Ultimately, Satya Meva Jayate. Now I will give the microphone to our dear sister Kīrpā Devī, who works with our webcast and especially with our YouTube channel. You are in the "tube"; take care in the world of media. Reflecting on when I was younger, television is not so old—just one generation. At that time, we didn’t have a television at home because it was very expensive. We would go to guest houses or hotels to watch one program on the weekend. This was not long ago. Seeing how rapidly it has developed, with modern mobiles now, everyone has one, even children. It is up to us what we choose to watch. We have so many choices now; everyone has their own television. We are online constantly, whether on a mountain, in a jungle, or underwater in a boat. We cannot avoid it, but what we see and do with it is our decision, which program we choose. Media is now without borders. The European Union began removing borders years ago. This weekend I was in Strelky for a beautiful seminar. Most people here also attended and enjoyed it. This gathering is also without borders, as we come from many countries and speak different languages, yet we try to understand each other. Media is the same—open and without borders. Before going to Strelky, I read a sentence from an Indian saint that has been circling in my mind: If you say "my country, my nation, my business, my this, my that," you are already violent. This is hard to understand—that we become violent when we speak of "my country," because we are creating borders between ourselves and the rest of the world. It is very difficult to overcome this and to open a little more inside. Thank you. Danke. To open a little more inside... I do not know if we are all truly ready for it. We are perhaps too shy to open and be inside without borders. Looking around here, I see different nests: a nest where the Czech people sit, a nest where the Austrians sit. Why? We are sometimes too shy. We should open more inside, not only outside. While media and politics show us a world without borders, we are not yet in that shape. We have work to do. My wish for you all this Christmas and New Year is this: We have survived until now and will survive further. I hope we can be more open. From today onward, let this be a chance. I wish you all the best. Now, about our YouTube channel: We have excerpts from live webcasts and lectures as short videos, not hour-long lectures, but the essence. One can watch even with little time. With modern media, it is possible everywhere. We have about 800 videos and 2.8 million clicks since the beginning. We may not reach three million this year, but if you all use your mobiles, perhaps we will. We have playlists on pātras, meditation, yoga āsanas, etc. If you have a specific question, you can type it in the search, and a relevant video may open, just as Vamshi was discussing. It is a helpful way to find answers, perhaps better than reading a horoscope. I am thankful for this duty, as it keeps life from being boring. I hope you enjoy the videos. Next time, something new will surely come. Thank you. Hari Om. And Devī—a beautiful name. Devī is a goddess, Kṛpā is merciful. We have many here who could share beautiful things, but time is short as many must drive home. We must finish. Finally, as is our colorful tradition, we have a poem or story at the program's end. This is our dear Sādhvī Śāntījī. Please say something. No matter. See you next time. Good night. Praṇām. Praṇām. Swāmījī, praṇām to all. Well, I was not in Strelky this weekend, but I watched the lectures via webcast. First, I must say that all of us who hold a microphone or speak are nothing compared to Swāmījī—just a zero. When I heard him speak on Friday, with such inspiration and beauty, I thought: I will never in this life or others meet such a master. This feeling returns whenever I see Swāmījī. I have been in India a long time, where we do not have satsaṅg like here. There, Swāmījī mostly speaks in Hindi, and those who do not know Hindi miss out. For you, it may seem normal how Swāmījī speaks, but it is like being without water and then receiving not just water, but nectar. This weekend, especially during Friday's satsaṅg where Swāmījī gave a wonderful speech after the singing on how to overcome this time, you could feel the high energy even through the medium. It was incredible. I feared the computer would crack! I immediately thought, "Hopefully, I can sing like that one day." It was truly great. What Swāmījī is creating is not a simple family, where members may just say good morning and good night. We are not merely persons sitting beside each other. What Swāmījī gives us is feelings. In this world, how do we have that now? Sitting on YouTube is nice, but sitting together in reality, as we are here—physically, mentally, spiritually united with Swāmījī—is an incredible gift. Swāmījī is not a glass; he is a diamond. One thing he spoke about recently, which I liked very much, is that in this Christmas time, each light on the tree represents a quality we should develop: rajas, love, kindness, etc. But more importantly, we must bring the light outside. In a world of theories, brutality, and aggression, we should be a light for others—sharing, not criticizing, accepting, and giving understanding. Swāmījī spreads millions of seeds in every lecture. We should be the seeds that sprout, become flowers, and spread seeds in turn. This is how we can change the world, and it is most important now. Our planet has already consumed the equivalent of one and a half Earths this year. If we do not change our habits, the next generation may live in a desert. Swāmījī not only gives us protection, a feeling of oneness and warmth, but also makes us aware of what is happening in the world. He calls us back to nature. The Ahiṃsā principle means taking care of nature, being mindful of what we consume, how we walk, etc. Our duty is to develop our inner light and spread it so the world may have a better future. It is possible because each of us is a divine light. I thank you that I can be here every day. I am thankful God gave me this life and that I met Swāmījī. I wish you a wonderful Christmas and thank all the lights shining here and spreading from Yoga in Daily Life around the world. Would you like to hear a story? I wrote this some time ago. Its title is: "Go Online with God in Yoga and Daily Life." It is a story for God’s children—all of us. Once, a little child asked her mother, "What is God? Can you tell me?" The mother answered, "My dear, I will try." Can you explain God? No. Can you see Him? No. Hear Him? No. Smell Him? No. Describe Him? No. Touch Him? No. Can you explain Him with words or senses? No. The girl asked, "But how can I know God then?" "Look into the eyes of your neighbor, a cow, the sky, the earth, trees, animals. Hear the birds, the voice of others, your own voice. Smell the ocean's fragrance, a rose's sweetness. Feel a friend's warm hand." "But how to understand where God is?" "My dear, God is inside you, not outside. Who is feeling, hearing, seeing, smelling, looking, loving? Who is breathing, moving, making your organs function, your heart beat, giving you love and tears? Who is thinking? What is the life and love in you? What is behind all this?" The child said, "Is it God?" "Yes, sweetheart. That is called God. You cannot explain it; you can only experience God. It is the emptiness behind and inside the material. It is the life force itself, the source and destroyer. It is the invisible power giving power to the visible form. As fire causes heat, God is the cause of the universe. He created His children—you and me. We are His children, so He loves and cares for us. We have the same blood, consciousness, divine spirit. We are one family of the one God. He is oneness in plurality and multitude in oneness. He is the endless power of the universe without beginning or end. There is no good or bad, only God. No dark or light, only God. No heaven or hell, only God. God is everywhere and in everything, but we have forgotten." The child asked, "How can I experience God? How to realize God?" "My beloved, it is easy, but you must be ready. God is just where you are—in your heart. There is only one royal highway to realize God: the path of divine love. You have come from the Divine and should merge again into the Divine. So, close your eyes, relax completely, become soulless, take your awareness into the heart, and unite there with God. Be in love, light, and everlasting happiness. Just do it daily. Go online with God and practice yoga in daily life. You will be happy and make others happy, for one who lives in God lives in love. God is love, and love is God. I love you, my dear child. May you always feel God inside and see Him in all. Siddhi Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān." I thank all yoga teachers, karma yogīs, and supporters of the light who help Swāmījī’s and Mahāprabhujī’s work, spreading yoga. Especially, we thank those doing service in the ashrams. I would like to ask Nād Prāmāṇand, Mahimā Jyoti, Annapūrṇā, Janā, and Manasā Devī to come forward. We express our deep gratitude to you. Thank you very much. As I said, unfortunately, it rained heavily today, and it will get colder, making the roads slippery. We should take a break now to head home. If it is very slippery, please do not drive at night. To all board and center members of āśrams and Yoga in Daily Life centers around the world, I give special blessings. Also to Mahāprabhujī, our Hilde Kamel and the Linz group, Anubhavī from Salzburg, our presidents from Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Krishnanand, and many others. I thank the fellowship board members for their hard work. Did Rāmpurī speak? First, I must thank the president. Also, our Vienna board members, who keep no distance but work heart to heart. I wish you much success and health. As said, we know what Christmas is. In this context, I wish you all the best. Young ladies always have poor rank—I must stop. Thank you. Come up. Thank you. The future of yoga is in their lives. I also wish you all the best for the New Year. Thank God, through our spiritual thoughts and mantras around the world, millions or billions had spiritual thoughts, postponing the end of the world. It is in the hands of Śiva. Śiva still has time; he said, "I have my meditation, and as long as it doesn’t bother me, as long as I don’t open my eyes, don’t worry—relax." As Śānti and others said, we have learned much. Kīrpā Devī also shared. Just now, Jyoti Bindu from Eisenstadt shared a little story with me. I want to say something important: What you cannot pass on is lost. For example, a doctor, scientist, or spiritual person with great knowledge who does not teach students loses everything upon death. Knowledge is meant to be passed on. This is called Śruti Smṛti. What we have heard from Gurudev, our task is to multiply and pass on. Every yoga teacher and organizer should pass on the good and positive they have learned. What is not good, keep to yourself and work through with mantras and positive thoughts. We should spread the knowledge of the science of yoga in daily life and the peace from Holy Gurujī, Śrī Svāmī Madhavānanda and the World Peace Council. Be like the Danube, flowing from the Black Forest through many countries to the Black Sea. Some rivers disappear quickly—little creeks that make noise but dry up after a kilometer. One with little knowledge who thinks, "I know everything," is like that creek. But you are solid, perfect, with immense wisdom. Learn from our spiritual lineage, Siddhapīṭha, and pass it on. As Śānti said, one seed sprouts, blossoms, bears fruit, and that fruit contains many seeds for more plants. That is how it grows. Sanātana Dharma is like an orange: the skin is the soul of Sanātana Dharma, and inside are many segments—the different Dharmas. But all Dharma exists in the oneness of God Consciousness or Cosmic Consciousness, the Cosmic Law. That universal principle is Sanātana Dharma. We will only sit with Swāmījī and have satsaṅg, but it is a fragrance, a light. You are all most welcome. Our heart is as big as the Croatian heart; all are welcome. They did not know so many would come, so perhaps not many presents are prepared, but I see something for children at least. From my side, I wish you all the best: Happy Christmas and a happy, prosperous, healthy, harmonious, and spiritual New Year. God bless you. Deep nine, and now finally, the president of the Fellowship. You were already, and in the future, your brothers and sisters will be happy to talk to you. My name is... perhaps you know me from email. Most know me virtually. "Go Online with God" is a nice poem and a kind of motto for my work. I have been happy for the last 12–14 years to work for Swāmījī and Yoga in Daily Life, doing seva with the internet. I remember about 12 years ago in Strelky Āśram, Swāmījī wanted a webcast. I told him the technology was not possible then; it was 2001 or 2002. We started with audio Guru Vākya MP3 files. From that time, Swāmījī envisioned webcasts and Swāmījī TV, but technology needed five or six more years to catch up. Now we are happy to have Swāmījī TV and webcasts. We continue to improve quality and unify national websites into a cohesive design worldwide. A team of nearly 15–20 people works on programming, surveys, and design. We are happy to do this work. Thank you, Swāmījī. Thank you. We will make you the president of Swāmījī TV, okay?
