Report and Satsang With Swamiji

A spiritual discourse on culture, education, and morning rituals.

"Jis ghar ke andar āratī nahīṁ hotī hai, jis ghar ke andar prārthanā nahīṁ hotī hai, us ghar kī saṁskṛti dhīre dhīre mṛtyu jā rahī hai."

"As soon as we open our eyes in the morning, through our eyes, through our vision, through our sense of knowledge, inside our chidākāśa, what all becomes? All that will come in front of us throughout the day."

A spiritual teacher addresses a gathering, beginning with devotional chanting. He emphasizes the importance of morning prayer and the first vision upon waking, arguing that seeing divine or familial images shapes one's day and subconscious. He critiques modern education and parenting for replacing spiritual and cultural values with violent toys and media, leading to societal degradation. The talk covers the science of spirituality, the faults in the education system, and a call to return to cultural roots, concluding with a universal peace mantra.

I would like to ask you about this Mahāmaleśwar, Mahāmaleśwar, which is in every form. Mahāmāleśwar Jī, please tell us, what is the importance of this Mahāmāleśwar? It has been said, "Japat paśu aur pakṣī pyāre śubha aruṣyam." O human beings! Even animals and birds, in their own language, remember the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul. Mahātmā Gandhi said, "I can fast physically, but not mentally." Because the tonic of my mind, the power of my mind, my spiritual power is within the prayer. That is why everything is obtained through prayer. It is said that, just like a child talks to his parents, similarly, the devotees who pray for āratī or pūjā, they are directly talking to God. Jis ghar ke andar āratī nahīṁ hotī hai, jis ghar ke andar prārthanā nahīṁ hotī hai, us ghar kī saṁskṛti dhīre dhīre mṛtyu jā rahī hai, saṁskār mṛtyu jā rahe haiṁ, kyōṅki saṁskāroṁ se saṁskṛti bantī hai, aur saṁskṛti se deś kī śobhā aur deś kī rakṣā hotī hai, aur ussī sanskṛti kī anusār śikṣā paddhati bhī honī cāhie. And tell us about your program. We will stay here in Kumbh Mela or in the holy Tirat Raj. After this, we will go back to Delhi and travel to Rajasthan and Gujarat. After this, in other countries where we have devotees, where we have different āśrams, we have to go there and take care of them. There will be a journey, so these people do not understand in mere words. They want us to actually teach them a particular practice. Or sādhanā bhī wo jisme lābh ho, jise unko phal mile, kyunki agar brahmaṁs ya podhā lagāyeṁ aur usmeṁ koī phal nahīṁ āyegā to wo kyā kām kā hai? To yoga jo hai, wo śarīra, mana, buddhi, aur jīvātmā kā vijñāna hai. Yoga jo hai, wo parampitā paramātmā se milne kā hai. So, Dainik Jīvan Mein Yoga, Yoga in Daily Life, is designed for the better health of humans, for physical, mental, social, and spiritual health, in order to develop this spirituality, to get self-realization. So it is a scientific system. Yoga in Daily Life is proved as a scientific system because it is a system, like from the primary school or from the kindergarten, the nursery school, till the university. So yoga in daily life is according to the ancient and authentic scriptures, where people are practicing and they are searching. They came to India. They came full of expectation that they were going to India. They are going to Mahākumbh Melā here in Allahabad or Kāśī, Prayāg, Tehran. So they enjoy. They had a bath yesterday. The first was my Akhāḍā, who bathed at 5:30 in the morning, Mahanirvāṇī Akhāḍā. We are the Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar of Mahanirvani Akhada, our Swami Jasraj Purījī. He is the first foreigner who became the Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar of the Akhadas in our Mahanirvani Akhada. He is from Australia, Sydney. So, I'm talking in English because my people will know what Swāmījī is telling about us. So this is what we have, the great joy and happiness that we are here in the holy dust. Though it is very dusty here, it is a holy dust. And we do accept that this holy dust will remove the dust of materialism and the dust of ignorance. People from all over the world have come here. And people of different religions have come here, not just Hindus. Here, our Muslims are also devotees. There are also Christians. There are also Jews. And people of different religions, and those who do not believe in religion, have also come here. Because in spiritual power and spirituality, there is no discrimination of religion. And this Samāchar channel that came here showed a glimpse of our foreign devotees. This was just a glimpse. If they will sing bhajans, if they will speak some Hindi, then you will say that in reality, how has the Indian culture changed them? The reason for this is that we are not able to give our children the values they deserve. This is the fault of the parents, not the children. Whose face should we see? As soon as we open our eyes, in our bedroom where we sleep, there should be a picture of God. There should be a picture of Satguru Dev. Or there should be a picture of the mother and father. Or there should be a picture of our beloved child. Should be of the human being. Because they say, "Whose face did I see this morning?" Because whatever face you see, the same way your day will pass. These days, small children are fed by animals. Some have a lion, some have a rabbit, some have a goat, some have a buffalo, some have a plastic sword. The sword and the gun are the same. Just like the vision, the universe becomes the same. As soon as we open our eyes in the morning, through our eyes, through our vision, through our sense of knowledge, inside our chidākāśa, what all becomes? All that will come in front of us throughout the day. In the small children's room, there is a picture of a lion, a dog, and a mongoose. What expectations do you have from such a child? What hopes do you have? The first and foremost duty of a mother and father is to give their child a true education. It is not the fault of the children. Now Diwali will come. During Diwali, you let your small children play with guns. Now, those children don't know that these are real guns. You break crackers, there are 30 fights, you keep beating. And one day, when they get to know the truth, when they get angry with their father, he will shoot a gun. As soon as they open the television, what do they see? Guns are running there. In education, now that education is no longer there. As soon as we wake up in the morning, we see the face of the mother and father, we see the face of God. And even if that is not visible, then see the face of our destiny, see how your destiny is. Have you ever seen the face of your destiny? How do you see it? By doing this to our palms, opening our eyes, first we see in our palms, this is my destiny. O Supreme Father, take us towards the truth. You must have seen that when Muslims offer Salat, they also look at their hands like this, don't they? He looks at them like this. That means our fate is in him. This is your picture: what you are doing, what you did, and what will happen. Karma is in your hands. Karma is in your hands. But the fruit of karma is in your hands. Just like you have a stone in your hand. That stone is in your hand, but if you throw the stone, then it will go away from your hand. If you can't run and catch that stone, it will go and hit where your goal was. So the one who got out of hand, ran away, that is our destiny. So the destiny that has happened, it has already happened. The bullet that came out will not come back from the gun. And the word that came out of the mouth will not come back. And the soul that has come out of the body will not enter the body again. And what is happening in the present? If we are careful about our breathing here, then our future will also remain like the present. Then, is our Indian culture a science? It is a science: religion, spirituality, and science. So, adhyātmikatā, spirituality, and science go parallel. Religion goes differently. Where there is religion, there is duality, there is fighting. Jaha dharam kī bāt ātī hai, vaha jagḍā hotā hai, dveṣa hotā hai. Lekin jahā adhyātmiktā kī bāt ātī hai, where comes the spirituality, there is no fight. So spirituality is a science. So first, when you get up in the morning, how should your life begin? First, when you open your eyes, you must see some positive picture. From whom? God, Gurudev, or your father, mother, or your brother, sisters, or your children. But now in this Kali Yuga, in sleeping, not only in the sleeping room, but in the sleeping bed, you put with the children animals' toys. They sleep with the animal's impression, and they wake up with the animal's impression. And they see the animal's pictures, they see the aggressivity of the tiger, lion, dog, cat. That impression goes jaisī dṛṣṭi vaisī sṛṣṭi. That goes into your subconsciousness, that picture. Animals are not bad. No, no,... they are not bad. But how the effect will be on your subconscious, that is important. You go with the toys, children's toys, in the hands are mostly animals. Then you go in the toy shop, and you bother the children who want to buy the gun. Even if it is a water gun, you know, they put the water inside and they splash the water on you. But a weapon is a weapon. And then your children watch television, though it is only cartoons, it is a children's video program, but there is also bang, bang,... And the same children, they are only four or five years old, they have now the game, video games, where you see the fighting. Now, when they grow up, this is called a saṃskāra, this is called a kind of education. No wonder that they will stand up and shoot anyone in the school, in the college, at home: mother, father, wife, husband, anyone, crazy. They are not crazy. They are not guilty. My dear, the guilty are the parents. Don't suppress children. Don't blame the children that they have no education. Blame the parents because they are not capable of educating the new generation. So we need the parents. All you get is children, it is not a problem. This is the mother. So we bow to the mother. Oh mother, I am keeping my feet on you. Protect me, forgive me. This is not a burden for you, oh mother. Just like the mother protects us always, today also protect me, forgive me. I am keeping my feet on you. As soon as the eyes open, the Supreme Father prays to the Supreme Soul. They used to say, "O Lord, give us strength and devotion." We used to pray in our schools: "O Lord, give us bliss." Take us in your shelter. We will always be your disciples. Do you sing now or not? You have removed these prayers from the school. It is such bad luck. How unfortunate is it that the prayers were stopped in the schools. How unfortunate is it that the name of the religion was also erased in the class. And there were such patriots, brave warriors. It is said that the three adorned countries were destroyed by Satī, Śāntā, and Śūra. So the story of the Satīs, the story of the Śāntas, and the story of the brave warriors was erased. The country is full of cowards, cowards, crooks, and those cowards, cowards, crooks, who are such crooks, who have no mercy in their hearts. Their name is coming today, they are reading the full newspaper, they are increasing it. Where has... Our culture is gone. Why have we removed our education from the schools? See its result. See what picture is coming in front of us today. That is why we have to come back to our culture, that knowledge, that education. It is the fault of the mother and father, not of the children. The fault is that we have changed the education in our schools. That is not the fault of the school. It is not the fault of the master. Because the masters are also told that you will study this only and nothing else. God, give us strength, give us devotion, give us knowledge. Gandhijī also said, "Veṣṇav jāntos teṇey kāhīye, Pīr parāyī jāṇe rahe." Who is a Veṣṇav? Who is Hindu? Hindu is the one who removes violence, removes pain, who protects the innocent, whose heart is full of mercy. He is Hindu. The one who removes violence and the one who follows violence is called Viṣṇu. All this does not happen in this country if our education system does not change. And it will have to change. This is the fire that is burning in the whole world. People of India think that Indians think the Western education system is better, and Westerners think the Indian education is better. But, don't follow, now the Indian education system is worse than what you think. Since spirituality is gone from education, there is no prayer in the schools. In the school, there are no chapters about the heroes, about the sense, female sense and male sense, and all. And spirituality, and if then the duality about religion. What a pity, because there is a duality. Or, if there is, then let's take the art of religion. In our religion, it is not said that we will not take the name of God, we will not take the name of Allāh, we will not take the name of Jesus. Then whose name will you take? Take the name of a dog. Gaṇeśa is written. Gaṇeśa is written instead of Gaṇeśa. They say that he is the God of Hindus, so what will he write? He will write a donkey instead of a donkey. Where is Gaṇeśa jī, and where is the donkey? This has remained in our minds. A foreigner came to India and reached Jhansi. When he reached Jhansi, he saw the statue of the queen of Jhansi. Who is she sitting on? Yes, the queen of Jhansi is sitting on the horse. He went to Mumbai from there. So he saw Satrapati Shivaji there. Where was he sitting? Oh, how he came to Satrapati Śivājī. He flew from there to Jodhpur. When he came to Jodhpur, he saw the railway station. Where was Maharājā sitting? On the horse. He went from there to Jaipur. So he saw Maharājā Jai Singh of Jaipur. Where was he sitting? On the horse. Then he went from there to Udaipur. And in Udaipur, who was there? Mahārāṇā Pratāp Singh. So, Mahārāṇā Pratāp's statue, who was he sitting on? Then, that poor man was slowly going towards Ahmedabad by car. So when he went out of Udaipur, he saw Gandhījī. Gandhījī is standing with such a stick. He is wearing slippers, no moustache, no boots. He is standing here with a piece of wood on his knee. Who is he? The father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. He went abroad to meet Gandhījī. All the great leaders of India, they are sitting on horses, sitting on donkeys. And you are standing on a log, even though you are the father of the nation. Why didn't you get a horse? Gandhiji says, "He is our current leader. Tell him." Then he went to the leaders. Then one of the leaders said, "Okay, let's go." Let's ask Gandhījī what he wants. He went to Gandhiji with that foreigner, and the foreigner stood up to take a photo with the camera, and the politician came. The politician came and said, "Bapujī, what problem does Gandhijī have with you?" What can we do for you? So Gandhijī looked at that foreigner. So the foreigner said, "Gandhījī, please answer." Gandhījī said to the foreigner, "Hey mister, if you have gone, then bring the horse." And what did he bring? A donkey. I thought he would bring a horse for me. In order to sweeten the culture of our country, he himself doesn't have any sense. Education has become a burden in our country. Education is needed, so everything will be the same. Heaven and Satyug will be created. So the education system has to be changed in India, as well as in other countries. The children are the culture of tomorrow, and that nation will go in the direction in which the children will go. So don't blame the children; blame the elderly people who create these kinds of situations in the families and in the societies. Therefore, in the morning when you get up, look to one of the dearest human beings: your wife, your husband, your child, your mother, your father, your grandmother, your Gurudev, or a holy person. Then tell the mother, there is a mantra, that mantra I have forgotten, I don't know, Paṇḍitjī will tell. Which mantra should be said to keep your feet on the ground? And then you go and touch the water in the bathroom. Thanks to God, thank you, God, that I have access to the water. So, for every element, for everything, we need a positive thought and positive acts. So, whatever is happening in our country, it is happening because of ignorance. And the unethical people are trying to destroy our culture and our religion. So we have to remain alert, and we have to give our children the education that will protect our country's religion, society, and the environment. The children of Gurū Govind Singh Jī were touched by the wall, and they accepted it, but they did not leave their religion. You leave religion because of greed for money. This is what is happening. We are not able to protect religion. What will religion protect us from? Dharma rakṣitā? Rakṣitā, so tomorrow there will be Pravacana again. You all come tomorrow. That's all for today. I am giving rest to my speech. I got a little disturbed because of this video. But it's good. Your picture has gone somewhere. Some or the other has come somewhere, so that's all I want to tell today. Sorry for these little disturbances in prayer and this, but the media is a media. A mid. In the middle. No, they are in the middle. All right. Then I wish you all the best and a good appetite. The food will be here very soon. And then, after your eating and my eating, we will have a meeting. Either here or somewhere else. Good. I will be with you. And somebody wants to talk to me, and somebody wants to see me. I also want to see someone, you know. So we will see, and we will sit, okay? Thank you. And yes, also I want to thank you very, very much for your hard work. You prepare a beautiful platform for us. So tomorrow or tonight we will do something, and tomorrow we can sit there and drink a cup of coffee. Good idea? Or coffee or chai or water or eating, whatever it is. Otherwise, we will be sitting. Okay? That's all for today. Śrīman Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ. Śrīman Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ, Śrīman Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ. Nadīp Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ, Nadīp Nārāyaṇ, Nārāyaṇ, Nadīp Nārāyaṇ. Bhagavān kī. Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaḥ, Sarve Santu Nirmayāḥ, Sarve Bhadrāṇi Paśyantu, Mā Kaścid Dukhabhāg Bhavet. Om Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ. Dayānand kī Dāb.
