Yoga In Daily Life Is A Great System

The science of yoga is an endless ocean of wisdom for human well-being. This system is based on ancient literature and addresses the entire human being, not merely physical exercise. The individual soul travels through countless lifetimes, carrying impressions within consciousness. The human body is a temporary gift containing the entire universe; the creator, the trinity, and Brahman reside within. Life's purpose is to return home to Brahman, the one God governing all. Realization requires inner search and practice. The path involves understanding elements like prāṇa, a universal communication system and a major part of Brahma Kriyā. Practice is essential, as theoretical knowledge alone is insufficient. One must also fulfill worldly dharma, including service to the planet and care for the environment.

"Be sure no one cares about you. And there is no one to be complained to or blamed."

"What is in the universe is in this body. What is not in this body is not in the universe either."

Deep Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jai, Śrī Śrī Dev Puruṣa Mahādeva Kī Jai, Dharm Samrāṭ Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān Kī Jai, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jai. Good evening, all dear ones. Many blessings to all those who are with us through the webcast. I am happy to see you here and welcome you. After one year, we again have the summer program here. This is traditionally, for us, a beautiful seminar where we can meet all our brothers and sisters from different parts of the world and have a time for practicing. Yoga in Daily Life is one of the beautiful and great systems. It is like an endless ocean, a vast ocean of wisdom. This has been designed for the well-being of the entire planet, Earth, and to awaken the positive qualities and good talents in humans. It is a scientific system, Yoga in Daily Life, and it is practiced around the world by millions of people. For the last 43 years, thousands of teachers have spread it around the world, and they are teaching. Many practice individually, many teach in small groups, big groups, centers, ashrams, etc. The science of yoga and life is based on ancient, authentic literature. It is not only physical exercises, but it is for the entire being of the human phenomenon—to know the mystery of human life, to know the life of humans for centuries and centuries, to know the beginning of this jīvātmā from ages and ages. The past is past, but the layers, the impressions are all stored in our consciousness, in different levels of the consciousness. Certain things awake in this life, and certain things remain dormant. This jīvātmā travels around the endless universe. Be sure no one is in a hurry for you. Be sure no one cares about you. And there is no one to be complained to or blamed. This individual one, from the ages, traveling in loneliness… How many different kinds of lives we have behind us. Thanks to the cosmic self, we got this human body. And it is said: what is in the universe is in this body. What is not in this body is not in the universe either. The creator is within us, the trinity is within us, the Brahman is within us. Need not to run away anywhere. Just search within thyself. When we dive into this endless ocean of our own consciousness, we will find very great things and treasures within us. The very valuable pearls are lying at the bottom of our consciousness. It is given to humans free by God. But though it is given free, this body is given to us only for a short time. After that, you cannot do anything. So we have this body. Use it or lose it. Wake up within thyself. With this kind of feelings and thoughts, I think the Creator has given us everything. We cannot be thankful enough to the Divine Self. And we cannot blame God. For a little physical pain, do not blame God. Therefore, this body is a wondrous phenomenon. Whatever you can harvest, do it. Whatever you can gain, take it. Life is mixed, and life has many different qualities. We live on this mortal world, the world of changes. It will change a lot. One who said that you are my forever will change too. We should know the truth, the reality. So, life is given to humans to come back home to Brahman. In Sanātana Dharma, meaning Hindu Dharma, in the Vedas, Upaniṣads, and Yoga Vedānta philosophies, there is only one God. A Sanātana Dharma-ban, vagyis a Hindu Dharma-ban, a Yoga Vedānta filozófiában csak egy Isten van. And that one God is called Brahman. It is he who is governing; he is known as ātmā. This is our self, the reflection of that jīvātmā, our soul. The same one is known as Īśvara, the spiritual divine governing energy within our sun system. And he himself is now an Eka Parameśvara, governing the entire universe, the endless universe. All exist in His universal body. The stars, the moons, the sun, the planets, the elements, everything. That is the body of the Brahman, and finally, you are that one. But you have to realize this. For that, we have taken the subject for this summer program; it is called Brahmavidyā, the Kriyās. Vidyā means knowledge. There are many different kinds of knowledge. In this modern world, in this technological world, many different kinds of knowledge have come out. Make all the talents. These are growing vṛttis in the human brain. All different technologies. More or less, it is to awaken the talents of the human abilities. But that is still limited; that will not take us to the brahmajñāna. That vidyā is given in a different way. We call the brahmin. Brahmin means they who know the Brahman. Those who practice the Brahmavidyā, who will do these kriyās and follow the disciplines, will be known as Brahmaniṣṭha Śrotriya—lover of the Brahman, and who can inspire and teach us about Brahman. For that, we have to understand our physical body from another point of view. The mystery of this body is still not discovered. Modern medicine, whatever it has discovered, is just 5% only. 95% we do not know. But the Brahmajñānī knows, because that Brahmajñānī is the engineer of this Brahmavidyās and Brahma body. So we know that our life is given for something different. In this, there are certain elements which are very important. Ākāśa Tattva, the space. But this Ākāśa Tattva is also, we call it different; it is not that endless one. We call it the ether. The ether is between the brahmalokas and mṛtyulokas. That unites us with these two. But if we say ākāśa, still it means empty space. Emptiness is ākāśa. It has no borders. And that ākāśa connects us to that Brahman. After the four elements which we know—air, water, fire, and earth. But within them is a governing power, the most powerful one. You can say it represents the Brahman, or it is himself too. This prāṇa is in the entire universe. It is in that prāṇa that all is moving and existing. It is that prāṇa which makes the functions in the stars. Prāṇa is a communication system, and so it is ātmā to ātmā, jīvātmā to jīvātmā, individual to the universal one. So in all this, the prāṇa is a major part of our Brahma Kriyā. Theoretically we know. On the day when we will be mastering this, I can tell you that you will be the person who can do wondrous things. But at least you and I have a theory. And the theory is not for nothing. There must be something; that is why there is a theory. So there is the science of Brahmavidyā. It is a long way, and it will be many, many seminars, a few years, and then will come the final ceremony, where you will be welcomed nicely with beautiful techniques into the Brahman, initiated into the Brahman. So this whole week will be practice about that Brahmavidyā. Two lectures will be before noon, at 10 o’clock, and in the evening at 7:30 pm, according to Hungarian time. But the techniques will not be webcast. It does not matter if you cannot come; the next seminary will come. Why cannot we webcast the technique? Yes, we can do. But you are hungry, and from far I am saying, "Take one chapati, now take one cake, take now this." I say, take this. This is a cake. This is chapati. Take it. But you are sitting several thousand kilometers away, how will it get into your stomach? So still this technology is not there that we can get physically. Therefore, we will have practice and time for questions and answers. And we have parallel Kriyānusthān. That is our upāsanā, that is our main sādhanā. That is our saṅkalpa, and that is our anuṣṭhāna, that is lifelong. So, for those who only want to go to an anuṣṭhāna, a program is also designed for them. And for Brahmavidyā, it is not necessary if you are a beginner or you are an advanced practitioner. As long as you can hear me, you can see me, and remain seated, that is enough. You have interest, and you will practice, then it is okay. Otherwise, it has no sense in it. So both programs will be there, the Kriyānusthān, and these Brahmavidyā Kriyājār instructions. But we will not mix together. Those who will do the Anusthān, they will not be allowed, or they cannot come here. If you come here, then they all will get up and go into your room, and you will have no space back. So then you do peacefully, relax, divine your Kriyānusthān. I hope all are healthy and happy. At home, your families and all are good. Your traveling was good, and I am happy to see you. Welcome! Now I will have some more instructions. That was about what will be this week. Next is this. This all will help you if you know for what you are doing. Really, what is your main goal or aim? If you ask why, I have two. First is service to this planet, as long as I am in this body. And my main goal is to be again one with Brahman. So all my thoughts, my feelings, and my deeds are dwelling in my Brahmajñāna sādhanā. But we cannot deny, and we should not deny, our obligation, our dharma in this world. Our duties, our obligations towards parents, children, neighbors, colleagues, and all humans, animals, rivers, and the forest environments. We are human, and we understand what is what, and we understand that this should not be destroyed. Animals may become destructive, but humans will not. If a human becomes destructive, then it means they have lost the human quality, and it has awoken in them the satanic qualities. Only the body does not make us human. But inner qualities and talents, that we all have, preserve this, it is very important. So we should work as our dharma in this world, and take care of the environment. You remember last year on Guru Pūrṇimā, through the webcast, I announced all the practitioners of yoga and their life and bhaktas: plant as many trees as you can, my dear. In one month is Guru Pūrṇimā, in 20 days. So, please send me the numbers of how many trees you have been planting. This Guru Pūrṇimā will be announced proudly. How many millions of trees have the people who have practiced yoga in their life planted? Does not matter where. I hope that everyone plants at least twelve trees, one tree a month. You can eat one ice cream once a month, and you will not forget to eat. So you should also not, I hope you did not forget to plant the trees. Inform your national coordinator or national center, and they will forward your names, if you want, or country-wise, how many trees were planted. At the same time, I would like to give further saṅkalpa to prolong the saṅkalpa. Next year, from this Guru Pūrṇimā to the next Guru Pūrṇimā, double planting. We must purify the environment and protect the environment. Dr. Radhe wants to say something. Yes, thank you. We have collected many; many have sent already, but many still have not. So please plant this for 20 days. You can plant many trees in 20 days, and add it again. Our auditor is very expert. At the same time, you know, we do a lot of humanitarian work, and our dear Lakṣmaṇ Purī from Croatia is working to collect some help, the donation for poor children for their education in our Gyanputra project. Some give only occasional donations for that, and some give monthly or yearly. For that, our Lakshman Purī from Croatia is sitting here. He will stand up so that you can see. He looks similar to me, has a beard, and if anyone has questions or information, please get it from him. With this, we are supporting the aims and objects of the United Nations for our world. The world is called the education. Every child has a right and the protection of the environment to achieve sustainability. So, Śrī Svāmī Madhavānand World Peace Council is actively working in this field. Of course, through your help, through your support. So this is very important. At the same time, I would like to remind you that, you know, recently a very terrible tragedy happened in India. This tragedy was more dangerous and damaging than a tsunami. The numbers go to more than 30,000 or 40,000 people who died. Sixty villages completely washed away; nobody can say there was a village. The 60 or more hotels were there, and many tourists were there, overbooked. They just, within no time, do not know where they disappeared. You could see near Haridvār and Ṛṣikeś, elephants were in the water rolling. Elephants, deer, cows, buffaloes, donkeys, horses. Gold, sheep, for after this program we will have a prayer for their lost souls. So please join us after this program. And those who would like to support for that disaster, they can also contact Lakshman Purī, and then we will find out how we can send money there, to which organization, who can directly give to the people or help the people. There was a dam built, a very, very big dam, and there was a lot of rain. Water came in, and the dam broke. So it was a mistake of the humans, not nature’s. A human becomes their own destructive, destroyer, great pity. Such damn technology should be stopped in the world. Great Paraśurām, who was known as an incarnation, Paraśurām said, "Rāja yogī agni jal, jiskī ultī rīt, dartā rahī ho Paraśurām, thodī dekhe prīt." The Rājā, the king. Yogī, you know the yogī. Agni, you know what is Agni, the fire, and water. King, yogī, fire, and water. You should be very cautious towards them. Because if they are angry, there is no chance of surviving. It is said, if God made something wrong, a saint can correct it. But when the saint curses, even God cannot help you. This is not my words; it is the words of the Paraśurām. Ezek nem az én szavaim, ezek Parashurāma szavaim. Rājā, yogī, agni, jal, jis kī, ultī, rīt, darta rahe, paraśurām, dekhe, thodī, phirt. So, this lot of distractions, what we are thinking and wondering why it happens, because we did it. Mahāprabhujī said, if you go against nature, you have to suffer the consequences. Surrounding the world, whatever we see, these disasters are due to human greed. And wait, it just began. How must we make the holes in the earth? Why did God make solid earth? Why did God make the mountains? And we are destroying this. How much oil do we pump out? How much iron we pump out, dig out, the coals, many, many mines, these all mines, they are just a distraction. For what? Humans think we cannot survive without this. No other animals worry about that. So, human knowledge and human intellect have advantages and disadvantages. More disadvantages than advantages. So after this program, we will have prayer. This prayer we will dedicate for those creatures who lost their lives in this disaster. With this, all the best, and bless you in the name of Mahāprabhujī. I wish you all the best with these thoughts, and I give you all my blessings in the name of Mahāprabhujī.
