Everything Has Its Time

Everything has its time, and you will not receive more than what is destined, nor before its time.

You may travel and practice many techniques, but you will not attain your desire prematurely. A seed requires time to sprout and bear fruit. Do not constantly change seeds; remain steady in your practice. Spiritual attainment requires patience and unwavering confidence. The story illustrates this: a devotee, longing to see God, endures immense suffering without abandoning his hope. His steadfast love is ultimately rewarded with divine vision. Without a true guide, you cannot cross the ocean of illusion. Focus your effort at the root, and the entire tree is nourished. The universal science of Brahmavidyā is within you. Research within yourself through consistent practice and study. What you deserve will come, but not before its time. Therefore, wait with confidence and continue your practice.

"More than what is written in your destiny, you will not get, or before time, you will not get."

"If you try to get all, you will lose all."

Our program begins. The second week started from last week, and today you have been practicing those techniques of the Brahmavidyā Kriyā. Many have told me their experiences, so I think it would be good if you want to tell something, please do. It is good motivation and clarity for all who are listening. So, anyone who wants to tell, please stand up; the mic will come to you. Stand up. I felt they all disappeared. Okay, here. You know, one has to begin. Who will throw the first stone? English and Croatian. No cameras there. Well, I would like just to remind you regarding this Jñāna Yoga, the chapter 6 of the Bhagavad Gītā. Several years ago, maybe 8 or 9 years ago, we were somewhere in Istria, in Poreč or Umag, when Swāmījī said in one of his lectures, "Kṛṣṇa gave yoga to the sun." The old bhaktas who were close to me were surprised, saying, "Oh, what beautiful words! Wow!" Then several years later, when I started to learn the Bhagavad Gītā with Arjuna, we found the first part of this chanting, where it is said, "I gave this yoga to the Vivasvant," who is the light itself. And Vivasvān gave this secret science to Manu, the first of the humans. Manu gave it to Ikṣvāku. So I just want to remind, in different words which are more close to our ears, Swāmījī told us something that we found later in scriptures. Csak azt szeretném mondani, hogy Swāmījī olyan szavakkal, amit mi... And as a bhakta, but at the same time as a parent, I would like to remind you that all children can very easily learn chanting the Bhagavad Gītā. Of course, someone should offer some music to listen to, or a professional who knows Sanskrit to read it. But definitely, it is not the privilege of a child like Arjuna. It is innate to all children. They learn very fast and with no problems. I believe that Arjuna will learn much, much easier and faster if he’s not waiting for me, because I’m also learning with him. But we both, because I’m learning much, much slower, but we are both enjoying exercising our brains. And at the end, we would like to thank Swāmījī that he gives the opportunity to Arjuna to exercise his self-awareness in front of such a beautiful and demanding auditorium. Thank you. Yes, please, give the mic. For me, it was today the first time practicing this Brahmavidyā Kriyā. And it was really impressive, and a very deep and new experience for me. And thanks to Swāmījī’s really very clear, inspiring, and new introduction and explanation of the breathing process, connected with the Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Maheśa Trinity, this practice was then really more deep and with some visions. And for me, I feel activation of the energy of the chakras. And at the same time, harmony and balance. So I don’t see the aura or something in a normal situation. But in this inner process, I had the impression that my aura would be increasing. So it was really a very deep experience, and I am looking forward to practicing further. Thank you. They have to say something. They only come to me to take my time. Thank you. Well, once more, welcoming you all, dear ones, here in this hall and elsewhere in the world with the webcast. Everything has its time. When you drive through India, on every vehicle there is some sentence written which has a deep meaning and knowledge. Even someone has a camel cart, it’s also writing behind something to give the people something to think. Then it’s written, "If you drive too fast, I will bring you to Haridwār." And you know what it means to go to Haridwār? When you die, your body is burned and the ashes go to Haridwār. Otherwise, I will bring you home. So in many buses and trucks behind, it is also written, "You will not get more than what is written in your kismat, in your destiny." More than what is written in your destiny, you will not get, or before time, you will not get. So everything has its time. You may travel around the world. You may do many techniques, but you will not get that which you want to get. Because time is not there, you put a seed today in the ground, and tomorrow you want to have already fruits. It is not possible. You may think the seed is not right, you take it out, put another seed. The whole year you may change many seeds, fruits will not come. But it takes time. The time will come; that seed will sprout and one day become a big tree and give fruit. So you will not get more than what you deserve, and you will not get earlier than the time. Therefore, practice, and be sure, it will come. It will come, sooner or later. You know the story about a man and a crow? You know the story, yes? Who doesn’t know? Hand up? Oh, I’m surprised. How good memory you have. There was one man traveling around the world, from cave to cave, temple to temple, holy place to holy place, master to master, only for one thing: he wanted to see God. We all speak about God. We are all waiting to see Him. But that man had a really big desire. Nothing was important for him. And in the name of God, he would give everything. He would give his life. But the condition is this, that with these two eyes he wants to see God. Well, disappointed, didn’t see God anywhere. Someone told him, "Go somewhere in the forest, on the mountains, far away from civilization. You will see God there, but make sure that you are not sleeping. May you just sleep, and God came and stood there. You don’t look to Him, God is gone. Keep your eyes open. You will see God." He went and sat on the rock. No eating, no drinking, eyes are open, looking. God will come, God will come. God didn’t come. Days and days passed. No eating, no drinking, no sleeping. The body became weaker and weaker and weaker. Sometimes he used to keep his eyelids open. That’s love. That’s love, that’s longing, that’s desire. He just couldn’t sit. So he lay down. His eyes were open, "I will see God." Very weak. Prāṇa was very little. Death was very near. There was no prāṇa in his hands and legs, so he could not move. Very slowly, he was breathing. But one hope: I will see my beloved. No way. A big crow, a black big crow from Siberia, came and thought, "Well, this man is still alive, but I would like to eat him." He waited and flew away. Morning again came. Again, this man is still living. Again he flew away. On the third day, the crow was thinking, "This man has no more strength." Yes, his breath is there, but he can’t move. So he flew and sat on his ribs, looking at him, looking there, looking at his hands. That way, he will not catch me or kill me. The man is looking at the crow. A crow is looking at the man. Now the crow, with his beak, bites his stomach and pulls the skin out. Looking to the man, again it put out some piece of flesh. Looking to man, Crow is saying to man, "It’s painful, my dear. That’s love to the God." That is a saṅkalpa, and that’s a confidence. That one man said that you will see the God, and everyone God speaks, I trust in that one. The crow bit again and looked at the man. Crow felt pity, painful. Man said, "Go ahead." In the poem, "Eat my whole body, each and every piece of my flesh, eat it." But my friend, he said, "My friend, I have one request, my dear one, but don’t eat my two eyeballs. Still, I have a hope." To see my beloved crow felt touched in his heart. The crow jumped down in front of the man and said, "Are you schizophrenic? Are you crazy? Who is your beloved one? You suffer for him so much, and he doesn’t come. Quit it. You will find many, many beloveds. Give up these wrong ideas." Man was looking at the crow, and blood was flowing from the man’s side. He said to the crow, "My friend, I have no explanation. What you told me, 'Who is your beloved? Give up, quit him, there are many others.' I have no comment, but only two things I want to tell you. If there is a piece of paper with something written on it, I can read it to you. Why? But my destiny, I can’t read to you, my dear. If it’s a piece of wood, I can break it, but I can’t break the love." That’s called love. That’s called bhakti. And that’s called longing for it. That’s it. The crow was looking to him. He had tears in the eyes of the crow. I made a mistake, I hurt his body, but the crow is only playing, making this man try to look stupid. The man said, "Don’t starve, no fasting, go ahead." Crow stretching his wings and became God Viṣṇu, four hands, Sudarśana Cakra, and bless him, "My son, it was very hard for you. This test was very hard, but I was in you, who was suffering with you." Sit up, and with the blessing, he became healthy. There was no wound, no blood, nothing. That’s called confidence, and keep your path. Mā Prabhujī Sheth. Without Gurudev, you will not be successful. Go to you by thousands of techniques you may do. Wander around everywhere. You will not cross the ocean of this māyā. With doing one thing, all you will get is it. If you try to get all, you will lose all. Give the water to the tree at the roots. Automatically, trunk, branches, flowers, blossoms, fruits, leaves, they all will get it. Or if you take a bucket of water with a cloth and put a little water on every leaf. Whole day, still some leaf is left. That one, you say, "Why have you forgotten me? I am thirsty." We didn’t get anything. So, giving to the roots, to the One, automatically, immediately, everything will be received. Similarly, in our practices, in the satsaṅgs, in yoga in daily life, in the system, it is a vijñāna, śarīra, mana, buddhi, cetanā, or ātmā kā vijñāna. The science of body, mind, intellect, buddhi, consciousness, and ātmā, this is the cosmic universal science. Therefore, in the chapters of Yoga in Daily Life, the Brahmavidyā is there. You have to dig it to get to the source of it. This Brahmavidyā Kriyās which you practice now, it will last long. So this morning, Mahāprabhujī’s blessing, Devapurījī’s divine manifestation, according to the Vedas and the creation, where the Rechak, Pūrak, Kumbhak begins from there. If you see the Brahma, if you hear this in the Brahma’s story, through his jñānendriyas he gave the manifestation to his sons, the ṛṣis, that’s called Saptarṣi. Through two ears, two eyes, two nostrils, and one through the mouth. The first human who began to make the human generation and creation was Manu. And Manu gained this knowledge of the entire universe. After that, I went and rested. I was thinking in my rest in Yoganidrā, Gurudev, Mahāprabhujī said in his bhajan, "The fourteen worlds, seven below and seven above." Ikiśo Brahman and two thousand one hundred universes are the sun systems. But my argument to him was, "Modern science says there are millions of suns." Mahāprabhujī said, "That is too little. In your body, there are more than millions of cells. All is within you, but my dear..." This Brahmāṇḍa, what is Brahmāṇḍa? The endless universe, what we call. There is no more than 2,100. Such sun systems, like we are in this, we are in this solar system. Which instrument today is capable of penetrating through 2,100 solar systems like this? Relax. I said, "Thank you." But I got up again after. What is that Brahman? Yes, yes. This Brahmāṇḍa becomes from three lokas. And in this, we see all fourteen rounds. So many Brahmā. Brahmāṇḍa means two thousand one hundred Brahmās. So Brahmāṇḍa means "the egg" in Sanskrit, and Kośa, you know, there are four Kośas: Annamaya, Prāṇamaya, Manomaya, and one is what I’ve forgotten the name. The four ways of the soul to enter into this mortal world. And this all, in this, is called Aṇḍakośa. The bird, fish, certain creatures, legions, they give snakes, they give aṇḍa. So this is like one egg, brahmāṇḍ, the brahmaka aṇḍa, the egg of the Brahman, and we all came out of this one egg. How many? My God. It’s counted in that also: Swedes, the bacteria, the bark, the trees, and jarāyus, like we, born as a baby, not as an egg. So in this, if we make our journey first within ourself, then we will understand what is the Brahmavidyā. So we have to research within ourselves. But, my dear, beyond your capacity, which you are deserving, more than that you will not get. And before the time, you will not get it. Neither more nor before. Therefore, dheriya, dheriya, dheriya—wait, wait, wait. It will come. Will thou come? Will thou come just once? Come to me. Keep this virāgya, this viraha within you. Be sure, it will come. Practice, don’t change. Always neither then will remain seed, nor will it sprout. Clear? Water element: The wood burns and becomes coal, and coal burns and becomes ash. But I am the lucky one, neither remaining wood nor becoming ash. Between both black coal, because in your sādhanā and searching, it was not perfect. Therefore, nirbhay raho nishank, kabhī mat dharnā, terī sadguru rakhe lāj, kabhī mat dharnā. Remain, have confidence, you will get. So brahmavidyā, brahmāṇḍa, everything is in you. The fourteen worlds and two thousand one hundred universes, my Gurudev has shown me within myself, in my body. What Mahāprabhujī showed to Maṅgīlāl jī, and one other bhakta, whose name was Mr. Bhatnagar, you read in Līlā Amṛt. Read and overthink. Don’t say, "Oh, this story I know, this story I know, this story I know." You don’t know. This is the problem. Read, read,... then one day suddenly you will say, "Aha!" I must read again from the beginning. That’s called svādhyāya. Abhyāsa, abhyāsa. Oh Arjuna, abhyāsa, abhyāsa. Practice, practice, practice. So, tomorrow we will continue. 10 o’clock Hungarian time will be the webcast. And more, some explanation about Brahmavidyā, and then after will be practice. All my dear ones, wish you good evening. And divine blessing.
