The Flow Of Prana, Relaxation

Preparing the energy circle is the foundation for practice. Assume Ānandāsana with arms stretched sidewards, ensuring no contact with others. Visualize a perfect energy circle emanating from the body to the fingertips and toes, like a clock. This circle is filled with prāṇa-śakti, constituting the prāṇamaya kośa. Coordinate body and breath into oneness. The jīvātmā resides within this luminous prāṇic sphere. To harmonize, purify thoughts within this personal space, which exists as your field from the earthly to celestial realms. If pain arises, integrate that point into the whole energy circle for release. Consciousness is this prāṇa śakti within and beyond the body.

"Visualize it as beautiful and round, like a clock."

"This ball is full of light, brightness, and prāṇa."

Good morning, everyone. Welcome. We will now begin our program. First, we will have the preparation for the Brahmavidyā Kriyā, which will consist of a preparatory lecture followed by the practice itself. Please lie down in Ānandāsana. When you stretch your hands out, ensure they do not touch anyone else. Take enough space now; it is easier to adjust beforehand. Take your seat. Relax your whole body. Place your hands beside the body, palms slightly open, half-facing towards the body and half towards the ceiling. Relax your elbows. Keep your legs slightly apart. Make certain that when you stretch your hands sidewards, you will not touch another person's body. It is better to make space now than later. Stretch your hands out. If necessary, someone may have to stand up and move to another place. In this Ānanda Āsana, you must visualize an energy circle. When the hands are stretched sidewards and the legs are slightly apart, the circle emanates from the whole body. For the hands, it extends to the tips of the fingers; for your legs, to the toes. Visualize it as beautiful and round, like a clock. Relax the whole body. Tell yourself very consciously, mentally: "Relax." Relax. I am relaxing. I am relaxed. I feel comfortable. Try to relax each and every limb of the body. With each inhalation and exhalation, just feel. Relax the whole body. Relax. I know that I am inhaling and exhaling. I know that I am inhaling and exhaling. I know that I am inhaling and exhaling. I know that I am inhaling and exhaling. I know that I am inhaling. And I know that I am exhaling. Feel the expansion and contraction of the trunk of the body with each inhalation and exhalation. Stretch your hand sidewards. Please do not touch anyone's body. The hand should be to the side, not above. It is a sideways, middle position, horizontal. Stretch your hands to the side. They should be stretched out, not above the head. Purījī, Purījī... The Kriyā is interpreted. You cannot do anything. Listen to me. Look at me. Understand this: if you can follow, then stay here. Otherwise, go outside. There is beautiful sun and a warm place. When you stretch your hand like this, the other person's body should be at least 10-15 cm away from you, not in someone's underarm. If you do not understand, we cannot do anything. It is hopeless. Rāmāyaṇa, Rāmāyaṇa... You can come here, you can go there. Krishnapuri, you can use this whole mattress for yourself, not like this. Good, but now you can turn to me only when you lie down. Good? Otherwise, the whole program falls into the water. Who still has not understood? Please raise your hand. Because one person who does not understand and cannot do it properly will disturb the whole energy circle. Except for the pregnant mother—she is okay because the baby is still inside. Shall we sing? The program is cancelled until you position yourselves properly. Come, sing a bhajan. Yes, come, sing a nice bhajan. You try. Between yourselves, have a trial: lie down, and everybody settle like this. In kindergarten, children sing much better than you. Otherwise, I would say, old home garden. Śrī Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Kī Jai. Thank you. So let's try again. Remain in this posture, Ānanda āsana, with arms stretched sidewards. Now, bring your awareness to the breath. You know that you are inhaling, and you know that you are exhaling. Feel comfort. Just feel the breath, inhalation and exhalation. Prāṇa, the life force. That prāṇa is circling within and outside of the body. It is like one big circle. You know that one technique, what they call Kirlian Photography. If you cut a leaf from a tree in the form of the letter V, in between there is equal energy flowing. Similarly, when you stretch your hands, your circle extends so far that the space between your legs and hands contains the same prāṇa-śakti from you. If you stretch your hands above the head, then your energy circle extends from the toes to the tips of the fingers. It is like a clock. Your hands are like the needle of the clock. The inner circle is filled with prāṇa śakti. Not oxygen. Prāṇa. Coordinate your body and breath in oneness, and coordinate your annamaya kośa and prāṇamaya kośa in oneness. This prāṇa, what you call the aura, is your prāṇamaya kośa. Hands are beside the body, not above the head. Relax. In every direction of your body—left, right, front, back, above, below—that becomes like a ball. Your jīvātmā is within that beautiful light, that prāṇa space, which is within your prāṇa śakti, your auras. The whole body—right, left, down, up, in front of you and behind you—forms a ball. This ball is full of light, brightness, and prāṇa. You fill this, the bone, with your prāṇa. The jīvātmā is in it. If you have pain anywhere in a particular part of the body, you integrate it into the whole circle of your energy. Automatically, all energy will concentrate on that weak point of the body, and the pain will begin to release. If you feel pain somewhere in your body, then stretch your hands above the head on the ground, keep your hands relaxed, the whole body relaxed, and again focus on the same prāṇa concentration. If you can feel or imagine the whole circle, so big, from the toes to the tips of the fingers... If you measure it, someone has more than two meters, someone has one meter, or someone has two and a half meters. This is your prāṇa kośa, the span of your prāṇa circle. Try to feel, at the same time with your positive thinking and Vijñānamaya Kośa, the purification of negative energy from this circle. It is your phenomenon; you are within this circle, forever and ever. From this earth till Brahmaloka, it is given to you; it always will be. That must be. There is a space for this Jīvātmā in the motor world and in the other parts of the universe. If you want to harmonize your Māyākośa with this, it means to purify your thoughts. If you do this, then you know that from the earthly world to the Brahmaloka, this circle is for you; this is the space that is here and in any other world is for you. Relax. If you can relax better, you can give more space between your arms or your hands. Your elbows should touch the ground. So, hands can be stretched more at the level of the shoulders. Now, bring your hands beside the body and slowly turn over onto your stomach. Place one cheek on the ground, and again follow the same process. Be more aware of the prāṇa around the whole body. Notice what kind of feelings develop in your body or in your heart: happiness, comfort, and freedom, or fear, unhappiness, and suppression? And again, ask what kind of feelings you need to have in your body: happiness, freedom, contentment, or fear, unhappiness, pressure? Relax. Relax physically and mentally. Just relax the whole body and be aware of your prāṇa śakti within and outside of your body. Consciousness is the whole body. Consciousness is the prāṇa śaktī in the body and beyond. Now, slowly, take a deep inhale and exhale. In your own way, just move the body and become extroverted. The next part will come after. You have a 15 to 20-minute interval to move out and in as you like, make some postures, make a queue in front of some rooms, sunshake. Twenty minutes. Hari Om.
