Lokas - Introduction

The science of the universe, Brahmavidyā, reveals the cosmos within the human body. The Vedas contain all true knowledge, with modern science often later confirming their claims. The universe is a Brahmāṇḍa, a cosmic egg containing all planets, stars, and elements within the consciousness of Brahman. Individual souls are like waves or remote controllers, separate yet connected to the source. Consciousness can expand to encompass thousands of such universes, seen as millions through reflection. Yogis could travel astrally through these realms. The human body and every cell contain the entire universe, with certain cells able to enter Brahmaloka. The sun is the door to Brahman. Pollution damages Earth's aura, the ozone layer, creating danger. Other planets have life, but not with the same five-element system that enables sustainable, self-renewing development here. Ignorance creates distance from nature, causing the individual soul to suffer. The ego is necessary but becomes destructive when dominant. The soul feels all emotions in isolation, with no base for support. The human body is a gift for spiritual practice to dissolve the soul into Brahman. Between the individual and the absolute is Māyā, the separating force of prāṇa. Impure thoughts and actions pollute this life energy. Spiritual practice acts as a filter against negative energy. One must purify to proceed toward eternal light. The Ṛṣis successfully searched the universe; modern research continues. Different lokas are planes of existence, like regions of a country. The three primary worlds are known by the seer with open third eye. Practice determines whether one reaches Brahmaloka or Naraka.

"Yathā brahmāṇḍe tathā piṇḍe: what is in the universe is in this human body."

"The door to Brahman is the sun."

Deep Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Dev Purīṣa Mahādeva. Satguru Swāmī Madhavān Jī Bhagavān Satya Sanātana. Good evening to all dear ones, here and there, anywhere in the world, connected via webcast. Welcome. Today is already the second day of our beautiful retreat seminar. This summer, a beautiful subject has been taken up, called Brahmavidyā Kriyās, Sādhanās, practices, and knowing more about the mystery of human life and the mystery of the universe according to the Vedas and yogic experiences. I can tell you, until today, whatever scientific research is done in the world, you can find it all in the Vedas. Many times, through research or imagination, a report is given, but the Veda does not agree with it, and finally, sooner or later, we find that yes, it was wrong. So this Brahmavidyā is about the science of the entire universe. Yathā brahmāṇḍe tathā piṇḍe: what is in the universe is in this human body. It is said there are 14 different worlds, which are round, in our solar system. And all in all, there are 2,100 such lokas, or sun systems. Well, nowadays, experts are saying there are millions of solar systems, and I was also believing that. But I looked through my inner telescope, through the third eye of Devpurījī, the preaching of Mahāprabhujī, and the bhajans and experiences of Holī Gurujī. It is said that all these lokas, or worlds, are changing, and they all have their own system. But all is in that Brahman, all is in that space. So, we call it Brahmāṇḍa in Sanskrit, Brahmāṇḍa. Many times I have spoken in my lectures according to the message of the Vedas: Hiraṇya Garbha, the golden egg, or golden embryo. Garbha has both meanings. But garbha means in the mother’s womb, in the mother’s body, there is a baby. Maybe in the form of an egg, or without an egg, like we are. So that is the entire Brahman, Brahmāṇḍa: Brahmā and Aṇḍa. Aṇḍa means egg. And that is why this egg has all these mysteries, the miracles, within itself. All the planets and stars, all the atmospheres, elements, light, moon, and sun, all are within this. For this Brahman, the sun is a middle point. So, it is not only in relation to our earth—how far is the sun?—but it is round in every direction. Now, you can imagine how many millions of kilometers distance. And that is called one brahmāṇḍa. That egg means that consciousness that is the presence of the Brahman inside. If you are separated from it, then you are like waves, individual, like a vibration. Like, here is the remote controller. So this remote controller is connected to this one instrument, but this will not influence the camera. Similarly, every individual has some origin, and he always goes there and comes here. This remote controller, you can see telepathy. So it is the same as a telephone. So at that time, it is said a yogī could speak over a far distance and communicate. Birds, fish, and many other creatures also communicate. Similarly, each of us as an individual, humans as well as other creatures, are all individuals in the oneness of Brahman. Our consciousness can expand. It can expand to encompass 2,100 such Brahmāṇḍas. And if someone says there are not only 2,100 but there are millions, yes, I agree. But that is yesterday night; it came to my research in my meditation. It is like you have a crystal glass with a diamond cut, and now you look through this glass. One person is in front of you, but you see many, many. That’s reflection. So our modern instruments, whatever you call them, the micro-telescope—there is no machine developed till now which can count in that fine range. But in Yoga Vedānta Mathematic, it is said the Ṛṣis were able to divide or multiply one second in 39 times. Is there any computer, any instrument there, which can multiply one second into thirty-nine? Even we can’t count. It’s quicker than our eyelid movements. Those yogīs were capable of traveling with their astral being through the 2,100 Brahmāṇḍas. And when they opened their eyes, they were surprised. They were all in this body. Then they again went out, again came, again went out. Then they researched that, as in the Brahman day, what is in this Brahman day, in our Brahman, in our part of the universe, is in this body also. And not only that, in our body, in every cell. And certain cells of our body have the ability to go beyond, to enter into the Brahmaloka. The door to Brahman is the sun. There is in Līlā Amṛt written, it is said that the door to Brahman is the sun. And on the gate, there is residing Devpurījī, because that will take you into the Śiva Loka, Brahman Loka. So similarly, when we are looking for that reality, if we are honestly looking for such great knowledge and oneness in the entire universe, without any border, into the 2,100 Brahmans, then you have to practice and purify negative energy. You see what we are talking about nowadays, the ozone layer? So when you see from a far distance, ozone is like the aura of our earth. And through this ozone is reflected the quality of this earth. That’s like a skin, a very fine skin over our earth. Now, through our carelessness and our greed, we create so much pollution. And now this skin got cancer, getting in certain places a thinner layer of holes. Now, the creatures are in danger on this earth. The rest will survive, maybe, but life is in danger. People are searching for life on other planets. They are spending a lot of money, but they say it. Someone said, before you search for and find life on other planets, first you should protect the life here. That’s it. So, what are you searching for there? First, search if there is life or not. We are killing all. All wildlife dies. Many, many birds are maybe in some pictures, photographs. This has all caused ozone cancers. Consequences we will suffer, and we are suffering already. Such is what we call civilized beings here; on other planets they are there, but not in this way. Because we have here prāṇa with a different quality. Pañcakośa, the five different kinds of bodies, or the layers over our soul. Five elements, the tattvas, and the five prāṇas and upa-prāṇas. So it is a complete system here. And this system had made sustainable development. Sustainable development according to the yogic means it self-continues, automatically renewing, rejecting, and protecting, destroying and creating. So in this loka, there is what is called continuity, which is called sustainability, meaning from itself, and that is birth and death. Automatically, people die from old age and illnesses, but also automatically, we get children. And the tree comes the fruits, and the fruits are the seeds. A fruit will fall down. A tree will die. But the seed will continue the generation. This is called sustainable development or continuity. Development means continuity. Self-sustaining. Self-sustaining is the sustainability. So what we call nature knows how to keep the balance. But what man, humans, try to keep the balance, it doesn’t function. When humans are more in ignorance, it means separating or creating distance from nature. This individual soul, which is in this brahmāṇḍa, is suffering. Because pain and pleasure are not only with the physical body. Pain and pleasure are in your astral body, prāṇa body, in your every existence. The ego, what we call "I," is a healthy one. Without ego, you can’t live. Without ego, you can’t eat and drink. Ego is self-supporting. To exist, ego comes from existence. But when this becomes dominating, then it becomes destructive for both, for yourself and for others. So this "I," as a soul, as an individual, is aware in the entire universe. Whatever you feel, you will feel pain, you will feel happiness, you will feel love, you will feel hate, you will feel a harmonious environment, or you will feel scared. Everything you will feel in there also. Here we have a plus point. If we have some troubles, we can seek help from others. One will not help, two will not help, three will not help, but definitely the fourth one will help you. But there is no one, far distance, up, down, side, nowhere. Nirādhāra, the word called Nirādhāra: nir means no, ādhāra means base. There is no base. Ever in the levitation, you look nowhere, nothing. You want to touch, nothing to touch. Only this jīvātmā, but it has all the senses of feelings. And as the karmic or the destiny, it is torturing. This is a condition of the soul, believe it or not. Therefore, the merciful God made something, and that is how we got the human body. And through this, our spiritual practices, sādhanās, meditations, and mantras, after this body, the soul will dissolve into Brahman. There is one drop of water in your palm, held over the ocean. This drop is Jīvātmā. You are a soul, jīvātmā, and the ocean is Śiva. Jīva and Śiva, these are two. When this drop falls into the ocean, no one will call anymore a drop. This jīva has become Śiva. So Jīva and Brahma, these are two. You become one with the Brahma. But between Jīva and Brahma, there is Māyā. And Māyā is the cause of separation, that Māyā which is around this earth, and that Māyā which will follow you through the whole universe. And that māyā is in the form of the prāṇa. So prāṇa, energy, life energy is very, very important. This comes from the pure source of Brahman. What we call here, sometimes we go for a walk in the forest, and we call it untouched virgin forest. So that prāṇa comes, untouched, pure prāṇa. But as soon as it enters into the range of our earth, it begins mixing the different qualities. Still, beautiful soul, still bright, sparkling, it is in your body. But now, our way of thinking, our way of talking, our way of acting, without thinking, sometimes you talk, you damage someone, you harm someone, and your words should be like immortality, nectar. But when your energy is completely polluted, then there is strong pressure inside. Some vents have to be opened, and these vents are negative talking. Backbiting, hiding, you are in energy. That will lead you nowhere; you will always be unhappy and suffering. So, through your spiritual sādhanā, you become the filter, a micro filter. No bacteria go through, no negative thoughts. As you touch someone, you get this energy from that person. You talk to someone, you get energy. You look at someone, you get energy. So you don’t know who is looking with which kind of intention. Listen. It is said, on the lips or on the face is a smile. In the face is a smile, and under the armpit is a knife. Yes? Sir, how are you? This is very good. The knife is in the store. Have a good rest, sir. That’s it. So, such a person will ever wander like a spirit which cannot manifest itself again. So we are on this earth, which has seven layers above and seven layers below. The highest one is Brahmaloka or Śivaloka. So when pure bhakta, Śiva consciousness, then Holy Gurujī says, Śivaloka says, Śivane Bheja. So there is Śivaloka, and Śiva sends you all here, my dear. But look to your karma, look to your quality, look to your way of life. Where are you going? It is when the sun sets, the vampires, the Draculas, the suras, they are settling their horses, riding through the night. And so now I come, I said, somewhere goes their dancing club, their nice club, this club, that club. How can you be happy? How can you be relaxed? Time to, early to sleep. I told some girl, she said, "I am so tired." I said you should go to sleep early. She said, "Gurujī, I really go to sleep very early." What do you mean? What time? Yeah, three, four o’clock at night. It’s very early, Gurujī. I don’t go late evening. Then all āsurī śaktis join you, and those who have daivī śakti, automatically, Brahma Muhūrta opens eyes. Even if you are tired, you awaken when the sun rises. Amṛt Vela, that’s called the time of the nectar, Brahma Muhūrta, the time of Brahman. That time, when you have sweet sleep, you miss everything. Fortunate are they who can wake up in Brahma Muhūrta. Unlucky are they who enjoy sweet sleep, but of course you have to sleep. If you go very, very late sleeping, so this is energy, the prāṇa, and sleep comes from nourishment and tiredness; the organs are tired. Thanks to God that He gave us sleep. Otherwise, people will become completely crazy. Can you imagine you don’t need sleep? Working day and night, day and night. Very soon, you will destroy everything from the point of your health. So that Brahman, that energy in us, now depends on us: how we can purify and how we can proceed towards that light forever and ever, one with Brahman. At least until the next creation begins, which will take time, billions, trillions of years, or trillions, thousands. Until then, we are in rest, which is best. So this is science, what the ṛṣis brought through their intellect and viveka, and the power of the prāṇa śaktis to search the universe. So the ṛṣis were searching, and they found. And now we are researching. That’s called research, so they searched and we researched. They were successful, and maybe we are not successful in certain things. It is said a yogī could fly. So I said, "What do you mean a yogī can fly?" In my aeroplane, so many people are flying. So modern science is also something. Impossible made it possible; we should not neglect it, but it has advantages and disadvantages. So this Brahmavidyā Kriyā and this instruction of Brahmavidyā that will awaken in you the knowledge of Brahman, after that knowledge, one is in Brahman. Otherwise, between Brahmā and Jīva, there is Māyā. Or between Māyā and Brahma, this Jīva is suffering. Surdhājī said in one of his bhajans, "Māyā and Brahmā." There is one bhajan: Prabhujī, mera aiguṇa chitna dharo, sam draṣṭī hai nāma tyāro, chahe to par karo so. I hope you understand. And I hope that you will be so many Brahmagyanīs. Can you imagine? Can you just think of a picture of how it will look? We walk together to Brahmaloka, and Mahāprabhujī will be so happy that the whole family came, not that Maheśvarānanda alone came, but Maheśvarānanda and the team all together. Let’s walk there, but practice. Your energy will let you succeed. Otherwise, your energy will automatically reject it. And when this energy and your karma just reject you, go on to the Naraka Loka. At that time, no one cares about anything, because all are Brahman. That’s it. So, lokas, this morning we were talking a little bit, but I began too quickly. I forgot to say "Nāhaṁ Kartā," and that’s why the whole program was so-so. I was saying to myself this afternoon, why was it like this? And the mantra came, "Naham" was missing. So that’s why I had to chant "Om" and the Peace Mantra three times, and "Naham Karata," and "Forgive Me, Please." So, in the Vedas, it is written about all of this. Read it. It is very interesting. So, lokas in Sanskrit, they call the world, the realm, the dimension, or the plane of existence. We are existing on this plane. So, there are certain planes where someone is still existing. Ancestors existing, Devas existing, Asuras existing, many, many. It’s very interesting, so ask the Ṛṣi Nārada. He can travel everywhere. It’s a very interesting thing. We need a passport and visa. But sooner or later we will realize Vasudeva Kuṭumbakam. So the plan of the existence, from loka to sign, be bright. Shining, be bright, the light, which makes visible or invisible, the universe or any particular division of it, a dimension of manifestation manifests existence. So we are manifested by one creator, and here is the existence. We have different kinds of existence. And nowadays we have one problem more: economic. When we don’t have work, then what we call it is existential fear. Why? Because our planet is in danger. Our planet is threatened. Not by anyone, but by humans. So we have to create a positive energy, positive vibration. So, the different dimension of manifested existence, the cosmic region, each loka reflects or involves a particular range, every loka. Like Hungary, how many provinces or districts does it have? Hungary has various counties or regions, which belong to Hungary but are in different districts with some different laws, different climates, etc. Similarly, in this universe, in this solar system, there are different faculties through which we have to pass always. The most common division of the universe is the three lokas. Three worlds, and therefore what we call Turīyānanda. Turīya means three. Ānanda means the bliss. Whoever has received Gurudev’s blessing, who is loyal and has Guru Bhakti, and who practices honestly, that is called Turī Ānanda. There becomes Turīya Tīrtha, above these three worlds, or it’s called Trikāla Darśī, Trikāla Darśī, the seer or knower of three worlds, which Kāl means time; past is called Kāl. The present is called vartamāna, and the future is called bhaviṣya. So, Bhūtakāla, Vartamāna, and Bhaviṣya. Whoever has Brahmajñāna opens this third eye, having knowledge of all three worlds. That is called the Turīyānanda, that’s called Turīyātīta, that’s called Trikāladarśī, and that’s called Trinetradhārī, who have three netras, the eyes. So, three lokas, or three worlds. Bhurloka, where we are living now, this is our world. These are the three major worlds divided. Each of which is divided into seven regions. I don’t know how many districts Hungary has; Austria has nine districts, or nine, Slovenia also has them, so similarly each of these lokas is divided into a certain range. They are correspondents to any of the fourteen worlds. Now we have 14 countries in the EU, Schengen.
