Gurupurnima Satsang and Celebration

Guru Pūrṇimā Eve and the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga: The Light of the Lineage

Today is the eve of Guru Pūrṇimā, a most auspicious day. The Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅgas descend from the sky for installation at Om Āśram. Such an opportunity comes rarely. The twelve Jyotirliṅgas grant fulfillment of wishes. The Guru principle is Gu, darkness, and Ru, light. The Guru leads from ignorance to wisdom. Value lies in knowledge, not the body. Knowledge must be given forward; half‑knowledge is dangerous. The Guru Paramparā originates from Śrī Alakhpurījī, the origin of yoga. Love and devotion are a fire expressing bhakti; bowing down seeks liberation. The Guru is one, eternal, pure, unchanging, beyond duality, the witness. Satsaṅg is the river flowing to the ocean of the Guru. Merging, the soul attains salvation. Practice Yoga in daily life and self‑inquiry to know Brahman. Words create enmity or save; listen to the saints’ bhajans. The light of God dwells in every heart. Witness this divine manifestation and receive the Guru’s grace.

“Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya. Lead us from darkness to light.”

“Sab Ghat Mera Saiya, Koi Ghat Khali Na Hai. In each and every heart, God is dwelling.”

Part 1: Guru Pūrṇimā Eve and the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga: Spiritual Discourses at the Om Āśram Bhol, Sanātan Dharma kī Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān kī Deva Dī Deva Deveśvar Mahādev Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān kī Satya Sanātan Dharma kī. Now, today’s program is about to begin. Our gurubhai, Gurudev’s beloved devotee and disciple, Colonel Khyem Singhjī Rathod, will give you the details of the program. After this, the bhajan will be performed. All of you, please sit down where you are standing. Come, move aside. Come here. Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai, Dev Purīṣa Mahādeva Kī Jai, Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Paramāṁśvāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān Kī Jai, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Viśvaguru Paramāṁśvāmī Maheśvarānandajī Mahārāja Kī Jai, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Jasrāja Purī Jī Mahārāja Kī Jai. Today is a very auspicious day. On this eve of Guru Pūrṇimā, I extend a very warm welcome to all the devotees. You are all seated here; your lives will become very meaningful. And whatever you, as Harman Singhjī just said, are reading with desire in your mind, we pray to God that all your wishes are fulfilled. You must be well aware of Guru Pūrṇimā, but I would like to mention that today all the saints who are performing their penance in the caves go to the feet of their Guru and perform Guruvandan. Purī Jī Karatā Mahāprabhudīp Karatā He Kevalam. The children sitting in front of you at the āśram will also have their Janayu Saṃskāra. This work will start at 4 o’clock, and after that, at 6 o’clock, tea is arranged for all of you here. Please have tea, and at 7 o’clock, there will be āratī here. After āratī, there will be Bhakti Sāgar. Please proceed accordingly; this is my humble request. After the caraṇ pūjā, at nine o’clock, inside the Om Āśram, the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga will enter from the sky for its installation. All of you must surely arrive there; such an opportunity comes only rarely in life. Will you ever get to see how the jyotirliṅga enters via the skyway and how its installation takes place? And these are the twelve jyotirliṅgas, very rare. Please do attend. After that, Bābājī’s pravacana will take place here. Mahāprabhujī kī kṛpā, Mahāprabhujī kī kṛpā, he kevalam. Once again, on behalf of Guru Pūrṇimā, I would like to congratulate you all. Thank you. My vandanā to all our saints who are seated on this stage now, on the eve of Guru Pūrṇimā. You all are welcome, and you all are so fortunate. Those are the fortunate ones who receive the blessing of Gurudev, and here you are on Guru Pūrṇimā, personally receiving the blessing of Gurudev. Śrī Śrī… All those who sing bhajans—I know there are many who sing, because I have been listening—they are welcome to offer their own bhajans, which will be broadcast to over 180 countries, you know. Now the program for tomorrow. Tomorrow at 4 o’clock in the Yajña Śālā, we will begin with the Sannyāsa Dīkṣā. You may know who all are going to receive the Sannyāsa Dīkṣā—Karma Sannyāsa Dīkṣā. This is going to be a sight to behold, for very few people get a chance to witness it. People like me may get this chance only once in their life: the entrance of the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅgas through the skyway, for the establishment of the permanent home of the jyotirliṅga. That is going to happen in the Om Āśram. You are all welcome. Please, never miss such an opportunity in life. That is my personal request. Thereafter, everything will take place here. Swamiji will be here; there will be pravacana, and simultaneously some bhajans will continue. This is tomorrow’s program here, and at 11 o’clock, everyone will begin with prasāda while the bhajans continue. That’s all. Once again, I welcome you all. Thank you very much. Śrī Śrī… That particularly auspicious, rare moment is upon us. We are the lucky ones, the fortunate ones. It is the fruit of our best karmas and tapasyā of many, many lives that we will be witnessing this and having darśan tomorrow. Dvādaśa Jyotirling in our Viśvadīp Gurukul Alakh Purījī Siddha Paramparā Om Āśram ke andar, Bhol Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagvān Devā Dī Dev Svayaṃ Bhau Deveśvar Jyotirling Bhagavān. Oṁ Śānti. To begin, the invocation of Bhagavān Gaṇeśjī Mahārāj: “Kī Gaṇeśa Jī Mahārāja, hamāre satsaṅga meṁ padhāre, pūrā savī kārī karama nirvighna sampanna ho, pulasānā taṇḍā.” Gajānanda Bhagavān kī jaya, Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān kī jaya, Savī Śāntā kī jaya, Mātā Pitā Gurudeva kī jaya, Vedavyāsa Bhagavān kī jaya. Oṁ śāntiḥ. Say with love: Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai, Viśvaguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Mahārāja Jī Kī Jai, Maheśvarānand Mahārāja Jī Kī Jai, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Jasrāja Purī Mahārāja Jī Kī Jai. In our country, and in various countries, there are twelve Jyotirliṅgas. First of all, I would like to tell you where the Jyotirliṅgas are located. Two Jyotirliṅgas were in Uttar Pradesh: one was Kāśī Viśvanāth and the other was Kedārnāth. Now Kedārnāth has gone to Uttarañchal. Three Jyotirliṅgas are in Maharashtra: one is Trimbakeśvara on the banks of the Narmadā, one is Nāgeśvara, which is known as Auḍa Nāganātha, Bhīmaśaṅkara Jyotirliṅga, Sethbandh Rāmeśvara, Vaidyanātha Dhāma, Somnātha. In Āndhra Pradesh: Mallikārjuna. Omkāreśvara, Mahākāleśvara in Ujjain, and the last, the twelfth Jyotirlinga, is considered to be Lord Kṛṣṇa, which is in Maharashtra itself. It is said about Lord Kṛṣṇa that there was a Brahmin whose wife did not have any children. So his first wife told Brahmadevatā, “Mahārāj, you should get married again so that your family can move forward.” Brahmadevatā said, “No, I will not do this. When two women come to the house, there will be a dispute.” So the first wife said that there would be no dispute; he should get married without hesitation. So he got married and had a son. His first wife was Ghusmā. A son was born. The son grew up. Now he got married. Now, Ghusmā’s first wife became enraged that her own household had been diminished, and the daughter-in-law who had come later, her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law also came. So on this day, the first wife, Ghusmā, became jealous. Her son was sleeping; she cut off his head, and after cutting off his head, she killed her son. But the second wife, whose son was Śaṅkarjī’s son, did not even know that her son had died. After some time, her son’s wife came and said, “Mātājī, āpkā putra kisī ne usko mār diyā.” She replied, “O kuchh nahīṁ, bholī apnī pūṇ rūp se pūjā meṁ lagī rahī.” And after performing pūjā, she went to the pond—she used to make a Śiva liṅga from clay with great devotion—and immersed it in the pond. When she placed it in the pond, Śaṅkarjī appeared there, and Śaṅkarjī said, “He Guṣmā, agar tum kahoge, to tumhārī badī bahan, jisne tumhāre bete ko mārā hai, use maiṁ abhī triśūl se mār dūṁgā.” So Ghusmā said, “Prabhu, don’t do this. He did what he did; we will never do such a thing.” In the end, Bhagavān Śaṅkara revived his son, and then Umā said, “Prabhu, now I wish that you settle down here.” So Bhagavān Śaṅkara said, “I will settle down here in the form of a Jyotirliṅga.” The twelve Jyotirliṅgas present in India grant the fulfillment of wishes to whoever has their darśana or performs service for them. Shetvandh Rameśvar par to kahā gayā hai ki je Gaṅgā jalyānī chaḍhāvain, taisā sūjī mukti narapāvain. Jo vyakti Shetvandh Rameśvar par Gaṅgā jī kā jal le jāke chaḍhātā hai. And in this way, the establishment of the twelve Jyotirliṅgas, including Mahākāleśvara, was done by Rāja Bhaktamajit. Similarly, there are different histories of the twelve Jyotirliṅgas, and they are located in various places in India. Each Jyotirlinga has a different history. If I were to tell you, it is very long, and my throat does not cooperate; my body remains unwell. That is why the Baijnāth Dhām was taken to Laṅkā by Śaṅkarjī, and so it was established there. In this way, the twelve Jyotirliṅgas are in India. Those of you who have the capacity, please visit them. Bhagavān Śaṅkara will grant you salvation. Jai Hind! Jai Bhārat! Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān kī… hamāre pūjye vandanīya Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Śrī Kṛṣṇa Nānjī Mahārāj, jo hamāre Bhagavān Dattātreya ke iṣṭ Jūnā Akhāṛā ke Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar hai. He often comes to the ashram. Even though for Guru Pūrṇimā his devotees number in the lakhs, they wish to see him but do not know that he comes here. He is very kind and has a very simple nature. They say in English, “Simple living and higher thinking”—simple life and high thoughts. So, all the people sitting here, all the people of India know what the twelve Jyotirliṅgas are. Even then, it is possible that today’s culture is changing in India. Tell me, why in cinema are actors not dancing? That is because there is no school. But where are the twelve Jyotirliṅgas? What are the twelve Jyotirliṅgas? Oye, hamāre bachcho ko kyā, unke mā‑bāp nahīṁ the? Gonī? So today, through the sacred speech of our revered Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Śrī Kṛṣṇānandajī Mahārāj, you have learned in a subtle way about Devā Dī Dev, Svayaṁbhū, Śiva Svayaṁbhū—where did they manifest? Wherever they manifested, that is their Śiva-jyoti. That which exists is called the Śiva Liṅga, and likewise the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga. So, when we travel all over India, we get to see all the places. People think it is fine: we are in the temple of Bhagavān, he is present, she is present. Now see, our Kedārnāth Bhagavān Jyotirlinga is sitting there. Today’s so‑called modern people have built a hotel there and turned it into a picnic spot. Mahāprabhujī Karatā, Mahāprabhujī Karatā... Mahāprabhujīdīp Karatā, Mahāprabhujīdīp Karatā. What is going on? Hey, all of you! Didn’t you hear the bass? The bass was played. The hotel was built. No one got up, so the operation has been done. There is grief. Not only humans, but lakhs and crores of animals were also there. An accident occurred. Elephants died, groups of various creatures—blue cows, deer, rabbits, horses, donkeys, goats, bears, dogs, all animals and birds. The birds flew a little farther away, but inside the mint… therefore it is said: O king, yogī, fire, water, whose reverse ritual, Darta Rao, Paśu, Rāmjī, Thoḍī Dekhe, Prīt, To Uske Āge, Jab Śiva Kā Trinetra Khul Gayā, Gaṅgā Ko Kahā, Tere Ko Kisne Rāyā, Yār Par, Ek Bār Phir Parveś Kar, Kalyug Meṁ Aisī Āyī Vo Ākāś Gaṅgā Ke Sav Pāp Khatam Kar Diyā. So the Jyotirliṅga, which is the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga, whose glory our Vishwadeep Gurukul Ashram, Rajasthan, district Pali, village Jadan, will receive tomorrow when it enters from the sky. We, then, will stand in Jodhpur in lakhs, in crores of people. They will benefit by having darśan and making their lives successful. This is a virtue, and we will be its witnesses. Our relationship with Lord Śiva will remain connected for ages to come. So let us move forward. Ar, bhī apane koī mitra, dost, veyā rāv veyā aise, skar bukro, ke havā savā nau aur sādī nau kī bhīṣ veyā padāreṅgī, savā nau aur sādī nau kī bhīṣ veyā, Śivjī ūpar ākāś Gaṅgā se padhār jai, Gaṅgā jī āyegī sātme to dekhte hai, bhajan sunte hai, aur āj pravacan hoṅgī. Some people said, “Bābājī, Akbar, āpne kāgaz bheje, unmālī kī vistār kī suvidhā nahīṁ hai, purī jī jī…” Sunāī Gurudev, Vaisoyī Ek Bhajan Bhavjī Re Charan Meṁ Samarvidh Kar Rīyo Savī Badā Prem, Sunāī Aur Ānand Le, Tāl Sāt Meṁ Bharat Bhūmi Par Ban Āye, Śrī Māheśvarānand Mahārāj. Śaṅkar Bhagavān says, “I am sitting here, so devotees, do darśan and bathe in the Gaṅgā.” If there is a lot of happiness, then happiness will come. And if we enter the house, then happiness will spread everywhere along the way. Devotees will feel that they have come to do satsaṅg in Bābājī’s caraṇakamal. Then happiness will come. They will reach home. Tārvar Sarvar Santajan aura choṭho barse meha e paramārthī karene e cāruī dhāre de. It is a very beautiful thing. Hari Om, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai, Jai… You don’t have to take any more pictures. No one is going to take pictures here. Only this video is going on here, that’s why we will stand according to that only. Our Karṇa Sāhab will announce something. Our foreign saints, sages, our Śāntipurījī Mahārāj, will also present some thoughts in English. So why are you listening? All of you know English. Does anyone know English other than your parents? Who knows English other than your parents? I am sitting here for them. So Colonel Sahib, please introduce me to Sant Jī. Where is the mic? Sit down, sit down. No, no, it was written there first. Bhagavān Kī Jai, I will speak in Hindi because it is for our desī brothers. And a little bit in English too, and a little bit in Hindi for the foreigners. Hindī me videśiyoṁ ke lie aur aṅgrezī me bhāratī hāṁ, tāre māmā pāpī ke vāda ne haṅg pāpī hai nī haṅg kītā pāpī beṭā hai. You are watching here, sitting on the stage, Sādhvī Śāntī Jī. You must know her very well, but still I would like to tell you: she is a doctor herself, she had her own hospital abroad. Many doctors used to work under her. Purī sampati lagā dī, āpne apnī pūrī sampati dān meṁ kar dī, aur sabhī mulkoṁ meṁ khud jā jā karke āpne basan detī hai. Āpanā camp lagātī hai, aur idhar Bhārat meṁ bhī alag alag gāṁv meṁ jā karke dāvāiyoṁ kā camp lagātī hai, sāth meṁ khud jātī hai. Khud ghar ghar meṁ jā karke rogīyoṁ kā, buzurgoṁ kā Mahāprabhujī dīp karatā, Mahāprabhujī dīp karatā… She is a doctor herself. She had her own hospital. There were many doctors who were working under her. One fortunate day, she received the spiritual blessing from Gurudev. She donated her complete property for a good cause, and took up bhakti of Swāmījī, and one fine day she took sannyāsa. Now, at this stage, at the age of 70, when people are considered to be very old and cannot walk, the way she is working is tremendous. She travels around all the countries, in India, in the small villages, and has been looking after the old people, all who are unwanted, who need medical care. She has devoted her life. Well, all my gratitude to her, and my koṭī koṭī vandanā to her. Now, I would like to request Śāntījī to please say a few words. Now, I would like to tell you something about some of our other holy saints. Swami Yogeshpurījī Mahārāj—the Divya Darśan which you are going to have tomorrow, the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga entering from the sky to its permanent place—the contribution, you will always remember, not for this, but for thousands of years, and nobody can forget Yogesh. Now, at this age—he is also nearing 70—the way he works day and night, I know that we are Indians, we have been working, but I tell you, I cannot work even 25% of what he has got the endurance for. He is great, and well, this Om Ashram is completely his doing; he is the man who is bringing up the complete thing. For so many years, he has been here in India. He left his family there and completely devoted himself. He has sacrificed everything, and here he is. We are fortunate that we are with him. Well, not only us, but when our small children now grow old, they will remember that yes, there was some yogī, and they are going to tell their children that this Om Āśram was brought up by him. We see all our other saints, the sādhus—their contribution is not little. They are working equally, day and night. And I know; I’ve been here. I see this is a great… well, all my greetings to them. I would like to tell you about Yogesh Purījī Mahārāj. Yogesh Purījī Mahārāj, when this whole āśram was a barren land, then you came from here and worked night and day in this āśram with five people. Purījī, Purījī… How is devotion awakened? It is a matter of time. A child came to Bola Guḍā Āśram to attend satsaṅg like this, and that child’s devotion awakened in his heart. Gurudev, Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ, Param Pūjanīya Dev Mādhāvānand Jī Bābājī, you said in Kesānī Deva, “I will not go to the village anymore. I will worship here, I will worship here, I will stay at the feet of Bābājī.” You will not believe, mother and father were all pleading, “Come, son, come home,” because he is the eldest son in the house. But no, by staying in the presence of Gurudev there is blessing, there is grace of the devotees—that shows how devotion is awakened and how knowledge is attained. Today, this is such that whether thousands, two thousand, five thousand, however many brothers are present, when they listen to the discourse with such delight, everyone’s breath stops, just to listen. Not only that, you must be seeing the Indra of this ashram, that in one place they are not standing, they are running, they are running. Rāt, din, apnā kām meṁ kuch nahīṁ hai, purī jī, purī jī… He said, “I have given my life for you, and today you are here.” We will pray to God that not just today, but for the next 100 years, you will remain as you are, as you are, in the name of India, in the name of everyone. Thank you. Akṣat Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Guruve Namaḥ, Dhyāna Mūlaṁ Guru Mūrti, Pūjā Mūlaṁ Guru Padam, Mantra Mūlaṁ Guru Vākyam, Mokṣa Mūlaṁ Guru Kṛpā, Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavānakī Jī, Śrī Alakhpurījī, Śrī Dīp Paramparā, Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvarānanda Purī Jī, Śrī Madhavānanda Purī Jī, Śrī Madhavānanda Purī Jī, Mahāprabhujī, Mahāprabhujī… He Kevalam. For your beautiful words, I am only a little wire on the big vehicle of Gurudev, so I am just a humble servant, nothing else. And on these days of Guru Pūrṇimā, we have such a special atmosphere, which is difficult to describe in words. I am now 36 years already with Swamijī, and I remember many, many Guru Pūrṇimās, also here in Jadan Āśram, Viśvagurujī, and every time it’s something incredible. We in the West are not used to celebrating the fire of love, the fire of bhakti, to show our love, to express our love in words, in songs, in gestures. So, that’s for us like an explosion, where we can just see the light and the glance of this great love and devotion. And I want just for all of those who are watching via the webcast, and who may be astonished about the devotion which people here, Indians and others, are offering towards Swāmījī. Swamiji, this may be strange for many of you, but you know, it is not the person which is adored—it is the light behind Swamiji, behind Jasrājī, behind the saints. It is the origin of the light, it is the gāḍī, it is the seat on which they are sitting, in front of which—this orange color, the color of the light. Part 2: Guru Pūrṇimā Discourse: The Light of the Lineage Bowing down before this light, they pray: "Please help us in your physical form to find liberation." That is the meaning of this bowing down, of this devotion. And if you are able to practice this kind of devotion, it is a great progress. Then God can work through you. And also on this day, I wish to especially name the origin of the Śrī Alakh Siddha Pīṭh Paramparā, Śrī Alakhpurījī, because he is the origin of yoga and daily life, the origin of wisdom. He gave his wisdom to Devpurījī, Devpurījī gave it to Mahāprabhujī, Mahāprabhujī gave it to Holy Guruji, Holy Guruji gave it to Swamiji, and Swamiji is spreading the word around the world. And Śrī Alakhpurījī is still with us, always, and especially also on this day. So I bow down in humbleness to Śrī Alakhpurījī, the divine creator of my Guru Paramparā. I had the great fortune to visit the place in the Himalayas where he is still residing. And I can tell you that it is due to his grace and the grace of the Paramparā that three times I could escape very dangerous situations that would have nearly cost my life. I know it is only the grace of Śrī Alakhpurījī and the whole Guru Paramparā that saved me from them. And also, in this place in the Himalayas near Badrinath, I experienced two very great miracles that happened to me. He showed me his presence, Alakhpurījī. That is why I am very grateful for this, and maybe in my memoirs I will write down all that happened there, which gives me a great influence and a great confidence that, you know, God is not far, nor is the Guru Paramparā. Living or not living, they are not far; they are very much present at any time. And for this I am thankful, and I keep the love for my Guru Paramparā forever in my heart, in this life and in all other lives. I thank you, and I thank Swamiji that I can be here. Praṇām. [Speaker shifts] Thank you, Swamiji. We are 36 years old. Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān ne kī chāyā aisī hai ki ek choṭā sā bīj jo hai, bhoṭ baṛe vṛkṣ baras ke jaisā baras lok baras lok hai vahāṁ. Lekin usko bhoṭ baṛā baṛ ke rūp meṁ baras meṁ kāfī samā lagtā hai. Vaisī apne jīvan ke andar ke anubhav huā hai aur uske liye same lagā hai. Dr. Śāntījī was just saying that he has celebrated many Guru Pūrṇimās with me. It has been 37 years since Dr. Śāntījī met me for the first time. It has been 43 years since I have been in the school. I have done Parikramā 42 times. I have met people in lakhs and crores. I have become a disciple. The experience of life happens step by step. Prakāśaṅ kuśne kuś anubhava hotā hī rehtā hai. Jīvana ek nadī kī tarah hai, cal rahā hai. Nadī ke do kināre haiṅ, ek sukha kā aur ek duḥkha kā. Nadī ṭeḍī caltī hai. Jīvana meṅ kai prakāra kī karva mod ātī hai, lekin jīvana chal rahā hai, kabhi usī nadī ke bīc mein ek ṭapū ā jātā hai, to pānī alag alag ho jātā hai, lekin kuch dūrī par jākar ke vapas, the water becomes one. The goal of that river is up to that source, which we call the sea. After entering the sea, the name of that river flows into that sea. Then it is not called a river; it becomes the sea. Purījī, Purījī... It takes time. We should practice, and our worldly behavior is dharma. It is the dharma of mankind, it is the dharma of family. [repetitions of "it is the dharma of family" continue until:] ...it is the dharma of family, it is. Bani sunne ko ād miltī hai. Ek ī śabd aisā ārjita mahāpuruṣoṅ kī hamāre jīvan ko badal detā hai. Aisā śabd jo hai lagī lagī śabd. Koī kahe lagī nahīṅ lagī, jiske aisī lagāī aur ho gayā ārām pār. Toh dekho na, pūrā Maa Bhārat rāj diyā Draupadī kain kiyo ki andharo tabar andho kisko kā? Duryodhana ko, so that the blind son of the blind saw that this is how they treat me, and the whole of Mahābhārata was created on that. And Bhagavān Rāma heard one such word: "My mother is Kaikeyī, and her desire is the same as my father’s." So I will not be able to repay her by being her son, so he left everything and went into exile. So, if you have a son like Bhagavān Rām, a decent man like Bhagavān Rām, he was perfect in every way, and when Rāvaṇa was killed, he himself appeared in Rāja Daśaratha’s ākāśa and said, "He Rām, tere jaisā putra pāke, maiṁ dhanya ho gayā, sāī bāte kī." Nahi, to hum aisi tapasyā kare, aise bachchon ko, hamārī santān ko śikṣā de, ki hum bhī gaurav mānūs kare, ki merī santān aisī huī hai. Nahi to, bigaṛnā to sabko hai ye, chaurāsī meṁ to sabko jānā hi paḍegā. But the worship of the saints, and according to our Vedic culture, Sanātana Dharma, will only be beneficial for them. One is that a person gives you blessings daily, and the other is that he abuses you daily. He abuses your children, saying that you are a sinner. How many times in a day did your daughter say that you are a sinner? If you want to go to hell, you can do whatever you want. If you do not have the power to teach your children two words, then how will you get rid of the culture of this motherland of India? Are we worthy of being the children of this motherland of India? The brothers of other religions don’t say that. We have lost our wisdom. If you dig a well in a well, you will find a well in a well. I always say this. They listen. Our Hari Singh jī listens. Every day, Hari Singh Ji says, "Yes, Babaji said to his parents, then when they call him to go home, Dharmendra Singh Ji—that Dharmendra Singh Ji has children—his grandson has picked up the phone, then he says, 'Your father has called.' Oh." I said, Bābajī said, he said, "Your father has called, oh, Hari Singh Jī." Yes, this is the thing, so change him, change him, save his culture. He Kevalam He Kevalam... He Kevalam. What is the religion of human beings? Dharma Rakṣita Rakṣitaḥ. That religion is Sanātana Dharma. What is the protection of Sanātana Dharma? Sanātana Dharma is not made up of human beings. What does it mean? The Bhagavad Gītā is made up of human beings. Because Lord Kṛṣṇa took the form of human beings, that is why he is human. Bhagavān Rāma, the Rāmāyaṇa, which is, Bhagavān Rāma appeared in a human avatāra. He is made of a human, so like us, Muhammad Sāhab hai, wo manuṣya the, to Qur’ān unne likhā hai, to bhī wo mānav kī likhī huī hai, Īsā Masīh kā kahā huā hai, Īsā Masīh bhī mānav the, lekin Sanātana Dharma, Ākāśa Vāṇī hai, wo usko koī banāne vālā nahī hai. In Sanātana Dharma, there is no name of Bhagavān, in Upaniṣad. There is no name of Bhagavān, there is only one Bhagavān. In our Hindu Dharma, in Sanātana Dharma, there is only one Bhagavān, that is Īśvar. Īśvar Allāh, Tera Nām, Sabko Sanmati, Dev Bhagavān. So our thousands and thousands are not God, but our Guru. He always used to say, "One in all, and all in one." One in one, and one in many. So see, there is an egg of Mayūr, and in that egg, the same child will come out, the same colourful child will come out, like Mayūr. So if we are the children of that same God, then we are the form of God. In this way, language teaches man and makes him an enemy. With one word, man becomes willing to kill others. And with one word, we all become willing to save man. So, the voice that is coming into our ears in the form of hymns of saints and Mahātmas, we don’t know in which form we will get Nārāyaṇa. So, see what happens in the bhajan, but there is one more thing: "Bhūke Bhajan Gopālā, Edharī Kāndī Mālā." So, sādhus are there, but they are hungry. So I will go and do the bhajan. You do the bhajan. Whoever did not do the bhajan, do the bhajan. And all of you sit quietly, do not get up and go, and listen to the bhajan. Bholśanā Tandarmān, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Dev Purīṣa Mahādevan, Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān Kī Jai, Yogeś Purī Jī Mahārāj Kī Jai. This is a spiritual lecture about Yoga in the Indian tradition. What I want to say is, what happens to those who have no hands? Purījī Thank you for watching. Come on, come on... Jain bhaktoṅ ko goh mātā kī sevā karne ho, vo apnā dān office meṅ jamā karke rasīd rāp kar le ve. Jai bolo goh mātā. This is a spiritual lecture about Yoga in the Indian tradition. I don’t know if I have a bypass, so I will try to speak a little bit faster. Laxmanbhai, wherever you are, it is difficult to come to the stage. Surat kī maṇḍalī gurū bhaiyoṁ se vintī hai, vo stage pe padhārane kā kaṣṭa kare. Surat wāle gurū bhaiyoṁ se vintī hai, stage pe padhārane kā kaṣṭa kare. This is a spiritual lecture about Yoga in the Indian tradition. Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā... Sit down. Stand. Oh ho! Did someone say bhai? Is there a bhai voice? No, no, bhai. Yes, I said bhai. I think there is a bhajan voice or a singer. No, please open it a little. Yes, open it a little. Open it a little. Why are you doing this? The other side is open. Wow! Wow! Come on, come on. Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Devpurījī Mahādeva Kī Bhajan. Whatever bhajan you are listening to, Gurudev has said that it is the speech of the Vedas. The speech of the Vedas descends into the hearts of the saints, and the saints, in their own language, fill it with so much emotion, fill it with so much sweetness, that the listener has more desire to listen to it. Bhajan sune se anta karan kī sudhi hotī hai, man, buddhi, citta aur ahaṅkāra kī, aise to bahut same ho gayā hai, āp log thakke hai, phir bhī bhajan sunnā, kyōṅki kal kārī bahut baṛā kārī kārya ho rahā hai, lekin Gurujī kehte the ki jīva jo hai, O Jīv Gaṇa Huto, Gaṇa Janma Me Nīna Didī, Ajagar Banīyo, Magarmas Banīyo, Gaṇa Janma Me Nīna Didī, Gaṇa Janma Me Nīna Didī,... Gaṇa Janma Me Nīna Did. Even if the animals are from the jungle, they can sleep as much as they want. But in the human body, sleep is a sign of ignorance. And it is said that the time we spend in sleep is not counted. And Mīrā Bhāī has also said that, "Vahī din le ke lākhōṁ jis din sant mile, vastu meṁ manuṣya kā jīvan vahī din jīnā jātā, jis din sant mile, satsaṅg ho, jñān mile. Dusre din to dusre prāṇiyoṁ ke jātā haiṁ, vaise jātā hī rahtā hai." Sat sudhare satsaṅg, pahai mūrak bhi satsaṅg se sudhar jātā hai, ṭīr jātā hai. Santon kī bānī amāre rag rag ge andar calī jātī hai. And as the cycle of birth and death goes away, we have to take sleep. So it is said, "Udādī mārī nīndṛī helī, Sadguru Śyām Murārī." In the same bhajan, it is also said, "Where did you come from, where did you go, do you know or not?" Sahelī jo kehte haiṅ, sakhī jo kehte haiṅ, vo hamārī indriyoṅ ko kehte haiṅ, sakhiyoṅ, sabhī sakhiyāṅ mil maṅgal gāire, aur helī yānī hamārī sūrat, sūrat ko kā hai, sūrat ko kā hai, kī uḍā dī mārī nindar lī helī, Satguru Śyām Murār, vo ajñān rūpī nindrā. Janam janam se hameṁ satā rahī hai, Purījī, Purījī... Puri Mahāprabhudīp Karatā Mahāprabhudīp Karatā He Kevalam. I am coming to you from holy Bhārat, Tapobhūmi, the land of the heroes, the land of the saints, Rājasthān, and the holy spot for the tourists in India, Om Viśvadīp Gurukul, Swami Maheśvarānanda Āśram, as well as Alakhpurījī, Siddha Pīṭh Paramparā. This is the occasion of the full moon, Guru Pūrṇimā. In the Upaniṣad it is said, "Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya." Lead us from the darkness to the light. This word "Tamaso Mā Jyotir Gamaya" means Gurudev. Gu means darkness, Ru means light. He who leads us from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom, that principle is a Gurudev, not this body of the five elements. The body of the five elements is not Gurudev. Mahatma said, the great saint said, "Sab Ghat Mera Saiya, Koi Ghat Khali Na Hai." In each and every heart, God is dwelling. The light of God is in each and every heart. It doesn’t matter, human or animal, any creature. "Sab Ghat Mera Saiya, Koi Ghat Khali Na Hai." But my adoration, my salutation, my devotion, my humbleness is to that body in whose heart God Himself is speaking. Mahāprabhujī said in the bhajan, "Aisā merā satguru andar bole," my Gurudev speaks in me. So, it is said, when you buy a box, and that box costs you millions, not for the box, but for what is inside. Inside is a very precious diamond. Uski kīmat hai. And you keep it so carefully, not because of this little box, this container, but because of what is inside. Uski price hai. Similarly, the value is the value of the knowledge, not the body. That knowledge which you have, you should give further. What you have, if you don’t give, you will lose it. The knowledge which we have, or you have, if you cannot give that knowledge to anyone, then that knowledge will be lost. You have a great mantra to remove the poison from the head, but you have not told anyone. Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā... Each and every word, like papaya, he eats that drop, or in Svātina Akṣata, that sepi, he takes that other drop, he eats that other drop, and in his stomach, pearls are formed. So the same disciple, the same disciple, you, nay ke pher masalo mila ni dujo khudro gyan adho bharde mai. Guru jī ne kahā, Gurudev said, "The half knowledge is more dangerous than no knowledge." Adho gyān khatānā gaṇove. Therefore, tamaso mā jyotir gamaya. Lead us from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom. Asato mā sadgamaya. That is the Guru’s principle. Asatoma, asat, unreality, lead us from unreality to reality. Asatya kī aura se lījā karke hame, satya kī aura lījā, ye prabhu, wo guru tatva hotā hai. And last, what is it? "Mṛtyormā mṛtam gamaya." He, Prabhu, lead us from mortality to immortality, that this soul has been suffering many, many lives. Now, finally, we made the Gurudev. So what is that Gurudev then? Not a body. Brahmānandam param sukhadam guru is the form of bliss of Brahma, not the body. Brahmānandam Paramānandam, He is the most blissful. He is the bliss of Brahmā. Kevalaṃ Jñāna Mūrtiḥ. He is the form of knowledge, not ignorance. He is knowledge, He is the Guru. He is ignorance, He is not the Guru. Kevalaṁ jñāna mūrtiṁ, dvandātītaṁ, gagana sadṛśyaṁ, dṛśyaṁ. Unskya andar koī bheda bhāva, dvanda nahīṁ hai. Vaha ākāśa ke samāna hai, eka ākāśavat. Sam Dṛṣṭi hai nām tyāro, cāhe to par dharo. Sam Dṛṣṭi, ākāśa, gagana, dṛśyam, dvandva tītam, gagana dṛśyam. Tasmāt syād lakṣyam. Aur ham sabhī kā yahī lakṣya hai ki hum unkī śaraṇ meṁ jāke pāuṁse, unke svarūp ke andar hum samā jāye. Kyōṅki vo jo hai, ekam, nityam, vimalam, acalam. Vo Keval Ek Hī Hai, Eko Brahma Dvitīya Nāsti, Ekam Nityam Everlasting, Nitya Hai Vo, Unkā Kabhī Nāś Naiṁ Hotā Hai, Ekam Nityam Vimal, Unke Andhar Meiṁ Kisī Prakār Kā Bhed Bhāv Mal Nahiṁ Hai, Na Jātī Kā Bhed, Na Svarūp Kā Bhed, Na Avasthā Kā Bhed, Na Paisoṁ Kā Bhed, Koī Kisī Prakār Kā Bhed Nahiṁ Hai, Bheda Bhed Rahit Hai. Wo uske andar koi kisī prakār kā māl nahīṁ hai, Nahīṅ to kahā ki aneke janam dhoye, man ko cittaī ho to aisī ho, Arre, ghanā janam tak man ko dhotā haiṅ, lekin vo dāgoṁ kā daag hai ke chhūṭo, but that stain did not break. That is why Ācārya Rām Jī Mahārāj said, "Many people wash their mind, if it is so, and if it is so, if it is so,..." This is the speech of Ācārya Rām Jī Mahārāj. So that knowledge, that Gurudev, is nirmala, ekam, nityam, vimala. Koi mālā nahīṁ hai, mālā rahit hai, vimala, achalam. Ko chalā mānā nahīṁ hai, ye ākāś dik rā, ākāś bihle ko nahīṁ hai, jo kus hiltā hai, ākāś ke andar. Surya, Chandra, Tāre, ye jitne dhātva bagair hai, pānī, agni, ye, ye caltā hai, ākāś nahīṁ caltā hai. To Satguru Dev kī cetanā jo hai, unkā śarīra acal hai, ko calā mānā nahīṁ hai. Uske svarūp hum bannā cāhte haiṁ. Ekam Nityam Vimala Chalam Sarvadi Sākṣī Bhūtam, aur vo Savi kā Sākṣī hai. Sarvadi Sākṣī Bhūtam, Sab kā Sākṣī hote hue bhī Bhāva Atītam, vo Bhāva se pare haiṁ. Uske andar Ved Bhāva koī nahīṁ. Triguna Rahitam, vo jab Triguna se Rahit hotā haiṁ. Wo Satguru Dev Kehlāte Hain Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva. Brahmā rajoguṇa, Viṣṇu sattvaguṇa, and Śiva tamoguṇa, because he removes the darkness. "Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya." Śiva only fights, and Śiva only controls it. Sarjan Har is also the same, and the one who fights is also the same. That is why it is said that Sarjan, in that Sarjan, there is a complete awareness within them that we are one, I am one, I will become one among many. In this garbha, this consciousness is awakened and created. Our being is born from the same place. And while walking back, we will reach the same place. Only then will we attain salvation, in the same way, like water. One drop of water is formed into a stream. And the stream is formed into a drain. From the drain, a river is formed. And from the river, it is formed into the ocean. Samundar Satguru Dev Hai, aur yeh satsaṅg jo hai, wo nadeen ke inder nāv chalde, jīsu me hum sab baithe hai. Toh is liye Guru Pūrṇimā woh hai, finally, tamaso mā jyotir gamaya. So that’s what I wanted to tell, that what means the satsaṅg and what means the Guru Pūrṇimā. Therefore, all my dear brothers and sisters around the world and here, I wish you all the best and the blessings of Satguru Dev, Devpurījī, Alakhpurījī, Mahāprabhujī, and Gurujī. And my good wishes for your spiritual development and spiritual path. Now, midnight begins the Guru Pūrṇimā. In some countries, the sun is still shining. Don’t worry, it will also come, the evening, and there will be evening. The full moon you will see. Rest program, according to the new daily time, Indian, Bharat, 9 am morning, you will see how Śiva manifests in the sky, and how he descends from the sky to this earth, and especially to our home temple, Jyotirliṅga, Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga, the twelve. Jyotirlinga at once, you will see that. You will say, "I never saw Śivjī’s face like that." In some phase of Śivjī, he has pulled beard and moustache. And somewhere he is nicely like, you are cutting every day. Where was Śivjī? At that time, where was Jalandhar? He in the Himalayas, and what about this? He kya lagā dekī liye? Ab tum bhī ban gaye vese hī. And Śivajī was given without a lamp. He had a mustache on his cup, so he rubbed the mustache. Daadī wale the, to daadī ragdī. Now, we make Bhagavān as a whole. If there were no saints and human beings, if there will be no humans, there will be no God. The word, the name God, humans gave; we introduce who is God. And therefore, God should also be thankful to us. So it is that saints have introduced what is God. Therefore, it is said the saints are higher than God Himself. Therefore, finally it is said, "Guru Brahmā, Guru Viṣṇu, Guru Devo Maheśvara, Guru Sākṣāt Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Gurave Namaḥ." So, that Guru Tattva, that Guru principle, is within you. Just practice correct and right practice of yoga, sādhanā, that is what we call it. Yoga and daily life, scientific system, and self-inquiry meditation, and learn the Brahma Vidyā. Brahma Kriyā se, Brahma Vidyā se he Brahmā kā jñāna ho saktā hai. Toh vohī Brahman kehlātā hai. Brahma jānēti brāhmaṇa. Jisne Brahmā ko pahacānā liyā, vohī Brahman hai. And who is established in Brahman, that one is called Satguru. So, listen to the bhajan. I wish you all the best, and good evening. Tomorrow morning, I will be coming to you. There will be sannyāsīs, you will see also in life, in the live webcast. And then you will see how Śivjī is coming, so waiting for you. If there is no webcasting, we will record and send it to you afterward. All the best and many blessings. Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavānakī, Dev Purīṣa Mahādeva, Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavānakī. So now we will sing bhajan. Which one will you sing? Why? Satsaṅg se sukhoī. Oh, very good. Only you can be happy through satsaṅg, and only you can be unhappy through the kusaṅg. Both, utthān and patan. Uthān satsaṅg se aur patan kushaṅg se.
