Gurupurnima Satsang and Celebration

Today is Guru Pūrṇimā, an auspicious day for offering reverence at the Guru's feet. The program includes early morning initiations and ceremonies. A central event is the arrival and establishment of the twelve Jyotirliṅgas from the sky into the temple. This is a rare opportunity for devotees to witness and receive blessings. The schedule also includes devotional singing, discourse, and the distribution of sanctified food. All are welcome to participate in these observances to make their lives fruitful.

The twelve Jyotirliṅgas are sacred shrines across India. Each has its own history and grants the fulfillment of wishes to pilgrims. The Guru is the principle that leads from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom, not merely a physical form. True devotion is directed toward the divine light within. Satsaṅg, the company of truth, refines the individual and leads to liberation.

"Without the Guru, no task is accomplished; even millions of efforts cannot cross the ocean of existence."

"The Guru is that one who is transforming that spiritual divine light into the disciples."

Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Part 1: The Auspicious Arrival: Guru Pūrṇimā Program and the Glory of the Jyotirliṅgas To the Dharma of the Innocent, Śrī Dīp. To Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, the God of Gods, Deveśvara, Mahādeva. To Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān. To the Eternal Truth Dharma. Now, today’s Kāryakram is about to begin. Our Gurubhai, Gurudev’s beloved devotee and disciple, Colonel Khem Singhjī Rathod, will give you information about the program. After this, the bhajan will commence. It will be evening. Everyone should sit where they are. Come. Take that microphone. Come here. Glory to the Lord of Light. Dev Puruṣa Mahādeva kī Jai. Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Paramahaṁsa Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān kī Jai. Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Viśvaguru Paramahaṁsa Svāmī Maheśvarānandajī Mahārāja kī Jai. Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Jasrājpurījī Mahārāja kī Jai. Today is a very auspicious day. On this year’s Guru Pūrṇimā, I would like to thank all the devotees. You are all coming here. Your life will be very fruitful. And whatever wish you have in your mind, as Harman Singhjī said, we pray to God that your wishes are fulfilled. Regarding Guru Pūrṇimā, you all may know, but I still wish to tell you that today is such a day when all sādhus and saints, even those performing tapasyā in caves, go to their Guru’s feet and offer guru vandan. This is a very auspicious day. Today, when you receive blessings, those blessings will be successful. Now, I would like to tell you about today’s program. Tonight, you will be awakened. You are all invited by the devotees. Please sit here and enjoy the awakening and make your life successful. In the morning, when Guru Pūrṇimā begins, I would like to tell you about the work. I wish to inform you about some rituals in my Yajña Śālā at 4 a.m.: the Sannyāsa Dīkṣā of three to four devotees, the Karma Sannyāsa Dīkṣā of devotees, and the Janayur Saṃskāra (sacred thread ceremony) for the children sitting in front of you. This ritual will start at 4 o’clock. After that, at 6 o’clock, tea will be arranged for all of you. Please have tea. At 7 o’clock, Āratī will be performed here. After Āratī, there will be Caraṇ Pūjā in Bhakti Sāgar. Guru Charaṇ Pūjā will start at 7 p.m. after the Āratī in Bhakti Sāgar. There are a few places inside. Not all devotees can stay inside at the same time. So please maintain peace and order, and follow the path shown in the line. This is my bow to you. After Charaṇ Pūjā, at 9 o’clock, in Om Āśram, Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga will enter from the sky to be established. All of you should definitely come there. You will get such an opportunity in your life that you will see how the Jyotirliṅga is set up from the sky. That too, 12 Jyotirliṅgas. It is very rare. You should definitely come. After that, following all these events, here will be your pārdhika pravacana (special discourse), and here will be your normal pravacana. Whatever you wish to do, your praṇāma, etc., will be done. At 11 o’clock, the prasāda distribution will start. So you all can take the prasāda and then go to the bazaar according to your program. This is tomorrow’s program. Once again, on behalf of this Guru Pūrṇimā, thank you all very much. My friends are Bhaktas who have come here all the way from different countries. My Koṭī Koṭī Vandan to Gurudev, and my Vandan to all of our saints who are here on this stage. Now, on the eve of Guru Pūrṇimā, you all are welcome, and you all are so lucky. Those are lucky who get the blessing of Gurudev, and here you are on Guru Pūrṇimā to personally receive the blessings. Though people from all over the world will be getting blessings by webcast, personally receiving it has its own value. Now you all are here. Once again, I welcome you on behalf of Swāmījī here. Now, about the program for the coming day. Tonight we have a Jagran. Jagran means tonight people will be singing bhajans here. You all are welcome to listen to it. All those who sing bhajan, I know there are many who sing bhajan because I have been listening, are welcome to give their own bhajans, which will be broadcast to over 180 countries. Now the program for tomorrow. Tomorrow, at four o’clock in the yajñaśālā, we will start with the sannyāsa dīkṣā. You may know who all are going to take the sannyāsa dīkṣā. Then we’ll have the karmasannyāsa dīkṣā, and we also have a janeū saṃskāra for the children who are here, our hostel children. That is the program as stated: four o’clock in the morning at Yajña Śālā. Thereafter, at six o’clock, you will have the Chhāyā Pūjā and Bhakti Sāgar. Seven o’clock is going to be for the Indian Bhaktas. Nine o’clock is going to be a sight to be seen, which people get a very rare chance. People like me may get this chance only once in their life: the entrance of Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga through the skyway for the establishment of the permanent home of the Jyotirliṅga. That is going to be in the Om Āśram. You all are welcome. Please have this; never miss such a chance in life. That is my personal request. Thereafter, we all, everything is going to be here. Swāmījī will be here. There will be Pravacana, and simultaneously some bhajans will continue. This is tomorrow’s hour program here. At 11 o’clock, everybody will start with the prasāda, and simultaneously the bhajans will also carry on here. That’s all. Once again, I welcome you all. Thank you very much. New daily time, 9:15 a.m., from the sky heaven, Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga. Dvādaśa means twelve, jyoti means the light, liṅga is the embodiment of Bhagavān Śiva Svayambhū. There are 12 Jyotirliṅgas in our country; 12 Jyotirliṅgas are located in Anand Pradesh. First, I will tell you where all the Jyotirliṅgas are located. Two Jyotirliṅgas are in Uttar Pradesh. One was Kāśī Viśvanāth and the other was Kedārnāth. Now Kedārnāth went to Uttaranchal. Three Jyotirliṅgas are in Maharashtra: one is Trimbakeśvara on the banks of the Godāvarī, one is Nāgeśvara, which is called Vaidyanātha, and one is Bhīmaśaṅkara. And one Jyotirliṅga is in Tamil Nadu, Setabandha Rāmeśvaram, which is a very important one. One in Bihar, Baidyanātha Dhāma; one in Saurāṣṭra, Somnātha; one in Andhra Pradesh, Mallakārjuna; and in the same way, two in Madhya Pradesh: one in Omkāreśvara, one in Mahākāleśvara, Ujjain. And the 12th Jyotirliṅgam is considered to be Lord Kṛṣṇa, who is in Maharashtra. It is said about Lord Kṛṣṇa that there was a Brahmin whose wife had no children. He had no children. So his first wife told Brahmadevatā, "Mahārāj, you should get married again so that your clan can move forward." Brahmadevatā said, "No, I will not do that. When two women come to the house, there will be a dispute." So his first wife said, "There will be no dispute. You can marry without hesitation." So, he got married. After marriage, he had a son, and his first wife was Ghuṣmā. The son was born. The son grew up slowly. He grew up. Now, he got married. Now, Ghuṣmā, who was his first wife, became jealous. She said that her house was affected little, and the daughter-in-law came after her. Her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law also came. One day, her first wife, Ghuṣmā, got jealous. Her son was sleeping, and she cut his head. He was beheaded, and after being beheaded, he killed his son. But the second wife, whose son was there, it was the time of Śaṅkarajī’s death. She started performing her rituals like Śaṅkarajī. She didn’t even know that her son had died. After some time, her son’s wife came and said, "Mother, your son was killed by someone." She did not say anything. She was completely engaged in the worship. After the worship, she went to the lake. Like Nitya, when she used to make the mud sealings of Śaṅkarajī, when she went to the lake and provided it, from there, Śaṅkarajī appeared. And Śaṅkarajī said, "If you say, then I will kill your elder sister, who has killed your son with a trident." So, Ghuṣmā said, "Don’t do this. If he disobeyed, then he did it. We will never do this." In the end, Bhagavān Śaṅkara revived his son, and then he said, "Lord, now I wish that you settle down here." So, Bhagavān Śaṅkara said, "I settle down here in the form of a Jyotirliṅga." And all the Jyotirliṅgas who are present in India, whatever darśana they do, and whatever service they do, their wishes are fulfilled. It has been said in Śeṭabandha Rāmeśvara that the person who takes the water of Gaṅgājī to Śeṭabandha Rāmeśvara reaches Praśaṅkarajī’s Dhāma. This is how the twelve Jyotirliṅgas were established by Rāja Bhaktamājit. The twelve Jyotirliṅgas have a different history. They are located in various places in India. Each Jyotirliṅga has a different history. If I tell you, it is very long, and my throat does not work. This is the reason why Baijyanātha Dhāma was taken to Laṅkā by Śaṅkarajī. So it was established there. In this way, the twelve Jyotirliṅgas are in India. Those of you who are capable, please visit them. God Śaṅkara will grant you salvation. Jai Hind! Jai Bhārat! Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Amare Rām Pūjiye Vandaniya Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Śrī Kṛṣṇānandajī Mahārāj Jo Amare Bhagavān Dattātreya Ke Iṣṭa Juna Akhāḍā Ke Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Hai. Kṛṣṇānandajī Mahārāj Kā Bahutī Amare Prati Prem Hai. Āśram Me Āate Rete Hai Jabkī Guru Pūrṇimā Kā Program Inke Lākhoṁ Saṅkhyā Me Śiṣya Log Hai. There are a lot of people who want to come here, but they don’t know about it and come here. They are very kind and have a very simple nature. They say in English, "Simple living and higher thinking." So, all the people who are sitting here, all the people of India know what the twelve Jyotirliṅgas are. Even then, it is possible that today’s culture is changing in Bhārat. Tell me, what did you do in the cinema? Is the actor dancing? He will come and say that the school is very good. But where are the twelve Jyotirliṅgas? What are the twelve Jyotirliṅgas? The same thing happened to our children; their parents also died. So today, with the invitation of our Śaradeva, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Śrī Kṛṣṇānandajī Mahārāj, you have, in a subtle way, Deva dī Deva, Svayambhū, Śiva, Svayambhū, where all did he appear? Where he appeared, his Śiva Jyoti is called a liṅga. It is called Śiva Liṅga. And the same Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅgam, so if we travel all over India, then we get to see all the places. People think that it is fine, this is the temple of God. Now see, our Kedārnātha Bhagavān Jyotirliṅgam is sitting there. Today’s educated people have made hotels there and made it a place for a picnic. Our people used to go on their honeymoon to Gaṅgā. They used to go on their honeymoon to Gaṅgā. God Śiva had opened his three eyes. God Śiva had opened his three eyes and asked Gaṅgā... They did not hear the sound of the bus, so they did not wake up. So, the operation has been done. It is saddening. Not only humans, but lakhs and crores of people, and more animals have been killed in the accident. Elephants have died. Some groups of animals: blue cows, deer, rabbits, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep. All the animals, birds and animals, the birds have flown away a little, but within minutes. That is why it is said that king, yogī, fire, water, whose reverse? Ṛta. Be afraid, a little bit of Paraśurāmajī, Preeta. So in front of him, when Śiva’s three eyes opened, he said to Gaṅgā, "Who brought you here?" Once again, in Kaliyuga, the Ākāśa Gaṅgā came in such a way that all the sins were finished. So the glory of the Jyotirliṅga, now the glory of the 12 Jyotirliṅgas. In our Viśvadīp Gurukul Āśram, Rājasthān, district Pālī, village Jardhān, those who will enter from the Ākāśa path tomorrow, we will stand with our hands joined. In the number of lakhs, in the number of crores, people will take darśana and will get the benefit of making their life successful. This is the virtue of Akṣaya, and we will be their witnesses. Till the time of ages, our relationship with Lord Śiva will remain connected. So let’s run. If you have any other friends or relatives, you can ask them to come to you at 9:15 a.m. or 9:30 p.m. At 9:15 AM or 9:30 PM, Śivajī will come to you from Ākāśa Gaṅgā. Gaṅgājī will come along with him. So let’s see, let’s listen to the bhajan. And today we will have pravacana. Some people said that Bābjī, you have sent the paper in the newspaper, "It is not possible to sleep in the bed. It is possible to wake up." Even then, if you sleep, the bed is there. But enjoy the satsaṅg. Those who have not eaten yet, have it. Those who have not eaten yet, have it. After listening to a few bhajans, we will also do some prasāda. Then we will enjoy. Watch the morning program. It will be a sannyāsa dīkṣā. Jai ho. Gaṅgā Āryā or Jerry Śaṅkara Bhagavānī bath, so now you’re the way. So you Bajan Bajira, turn on my summer bit career. So we put a premise: who’s on a or on? And let’s all the sad man civil, okay? Say Śivānī beja civil, okay? Say Śivānī beja jñānīs it yogī Rāj Bhārat Bhūmi parabana. I Śrī Māheśvarānand Mahārāj, Śrī Māheśvarānand Mahārāj... Yes, if there is a lot of joy, then there will be joy. And if we enter the house, then there will be joy on the way. There will be joy everywhere. The devotees will feel that they have come to worship Bābā Candra Kamala. Then there will be joy. They will reach the house. TARVAR, SARVAR SANTA JAN, OR CHOTHO BARSE MEH AY PARMA RATRI KARNE AY CHAARUI DHARE DEH. It’s a very beautiful thing, TARVAR. On the banks of the river, all the living beings who are thirsty, they don’t give them NĀ. To purify their nature. In the same way, Rukṣā is a form of giving fruits to everyone. Someone throws a batā, someone throws a coin; they are given to break the fruit. In the same way, the saints, whether they are Nugra or Sugra, are all present at the feet. In the same way, the saints, for the sake of life, Dhanārām Jī Mahārāj says, "Namo Namo Gurudev Jī," or "Koṭi Koṭi Pāriṇāma, Palak Palak Prabhu Vinatī," or "Sukh Sāgara Niznāma, Namo Namo Gurudev Jī, Tane Koṭi Koṭi Pāriṇāma, Jīvatarn Jagat Mein Satguru Āyī Lino Viśrāma." Āyī Lino Viśrāma Jīvan Mukti Rādhāta Phir Phir Dekhun Chahun Khunt Pe Pan Satguru Sam Naj̲ar Nahi Ātā Jan Dāno Vandan Kare, Jan Dāno Vandan Kare. Māra e sāsim rati rām E jī namo namo guru dev jī. Thane koṭi koṭi parnā Bolī satguru devā gwān kī. O Satguru, why have you come to the true world? To get rid of the sorrows of the people... You have brought a wealth of knowledge and devotion, O Satguru. Why have you come to the true world? Upakāra kare svārāt binā, sat amardhana barsāyā. Bhāgyaśālī Śāradā Śūlinā, nāma amara dhana pāyā. For the sake of erasing the sorrows of those who are in pain, the true guru has brought the wealth of knowledge and devotion. The true world has come to the world, the one who has written the Amara Patra. The one who has written the Amara Patra, "Sohī Mukti Dhāma Ghara Pāyā. Amara Patra Lika Dīnā Bo Datā, Sohī Mukti Dhāma Ghara Pāyā. Jāve Nahī̃ Jāve, Mare Nahī̃ Janame, Sata Mereṯa Samayā. Sata Gurū Satya Lohā, Kāsu Āyā." Let’s listen to the voice of all the devotees in the tāla. Hey Satguru, why did you come to the true world? For the sake of solving the sorrows of the sad ones, Jñāna bhakti dhānyālaya, vo satyaguru, satyaloka suhāya, Śrī Dīpadāyālu kṛpālu, amūlya dhānyālūtāya... Bāpujī, do you want to take a photo of the dancers? No, we don’t want to take a photo. Nobody has taken a photo here. This is the only video that is being shown here. That is why we will stand there. Karna Sāhab will announce something. Part 2: A Gathering of Devotion and Wisdom Our foreign saints and sages, Śāntipurījī Mahārāj, will also present some thoughts in English. You all must know English. But do you know the English of your parents? Who knows the English of their parents? That is why I am sitting here. So, Colonel, please introduce me to Śāntājī. Where is the microphone? Sit down, sit down. No, no, it was written there first. God bless you. I will speak in Hindi because it is for our desi brothers. And a little bit in English too. In Hindi, it is for foreigners, and in English, it is for Indians. Yes, your uncle is a sinner, and your aunt is not a sinner. Hank is such a sinner. You can see Sādhvī Śāntījī sitting on the stage. You must be very familiar with her, but I would like to tell you that she is a doctor herself. She had her own hospital abroad, and many doctors worked under her. But one day, her devotion was awakened. She left everything and became a disciple of Bābājī. She took Sannyāsa. Today, at this age, by awakening all her devotion, by doing Pūjā, she has made this Āśram and Gurudev her own. We are giving our name to the four moons, and for the welfare of the people, what do you have to say? She has invested her entire wealth in donations. You have invested your entire wealth in donations. And in all countries, she herself goes and gives her speech. She sets up her own camp. And here in India too, she goes to different villages and sets up medicine camps. I would like to now, though you know very well about Dr. Śāntījī, to tell you that she is a doctor herself. She had her own hospital. There were many doctors who were working under her. One fortunate day, she received the spiritual blessing from the Gurudev. She donated her complete property for the cause, a good cause, and took the bhakti of the Swāmījī. One fine day, she took sannyāsa. Now, at this stage, at the age of 70, where people are considered to be very old and cannot walk, the way she is working is tremendous. She runs around all the countries, in India in the small, small villages, and has been looking after the old people, all who are wanted, who need the medical care. She has devoted her life. Well, my all gratitude to her and my koṭi koṭi vandan to her. Great. Now, I would like to request Śāntījī to please say a few words. Now, I would like to tell you something about our other holy saints. Now, Swāmī Yogeś Purījī Mahārāj is the Divya Darśan which you are going to have tomorrow, the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga entering from the sky to the permanent place. The contribution you will always remember, not for this, for your thousands of years, and nobody can forget Yogeś. Now, at this age, he is also nearing now 70, the way he works day and night. I know that we are Indians, we have been working, but I tell you, I cannot work even 25% of what he has got, the endurance. Yes, great. And well, he, this Om Āśram is completely, he is the man who is bringing up the complete thing. For so many years he has been here in India; he has left his family there and completely devoted himself. He has sacrificed everything, and here he is. We are fortunate that we are with him. Well, not only us, our small children now, when they grow old, they will remember that yes, there was some yogī, and they are going to tell their children that this Om Āśram was brought up by him. We see all our other saints, their side, sādhus, their side, well, their contribution is not little. They are equally working day and night. And I know, I have been here, I see this is a great, well, all my greetings to them. I would like to tell you about Yogeś Purījī Mahārāj. Yogeś Purījī Mahārāj, when this whole ashram was a barren land, then you came from here and worked night and day in this ashram with five people, just like how they are standing at this age of 70 years. Maybe there is someone among you and me who is standing here. Not today, but your children and grandchildren will say, 100 years from today, that this is the Om Āśram that Yogeś Purījī Mahārāj had given his life for. It is very great. You are seeing the saints sitting there. They don’t just roll the garland. They roll this garland at the moments of the night when you are all dreaming. But if you look at the rest of the time, then during the day, in the sun, in the sweat, they stand and sweat for this ashram, for this sacred land. Where have they come from? They have left this place. I would like to tell you one more thing. Are you watching? Our Phoolpurījī Mahārāj. I would definitely like to tell you about him. How does devotion awaken? It is a matter of time. One child came to Bola Guda Āśram to attend the satsaṅg, and that child’s devotion was awakened in his heart. Gurudev, the king of the Hindu religion, the supreme venerable Dev Madhavananjī Bābājī, you said in the Sani Deva, "I will not go back to my village. I will worship here, I will worship here, I will stay at the feet of Bābājī." You will not believe, mother and father were all worshiping. "Come, son, come home, because the eldest son is in the house." No, and by staying in the presence of Gurudev, there is blessing. It is the grace of the devotees. That is how the devotion is awakened, how the knowledge is attained. Today, it is so powerful that when a person starts reciting pravacana, all his breath stops just to listen. Not only that, you must be seeing in this ashram that you cannot stand in one place. They run. They run day and night. They have nothing to do with their work. They will run from here. They will worship there. They will come running from Gurudev’s samādhi. They will worship in Śiva Āśram. I don’t know when they sleep. Maybe they won’t sleep at night. They are in the service of this Āśram. They are in the service of Bābājī. Their life is blessed. Their father came here. Gurudev ko āp karī, ke bābājī, mero bāḍo tabar hai, ināy, vezdo to gharān. Bābājī, inka theek hai, aapka bachā hai, zarūr le jāyī hai. Bole, maine meri jindagī dedhī hai. Aur aaj, aap hain, hum Bhagavān se prārthanā kareṅge, ke aaj nahīṅ, sau sāl tak, aap issī mutābik raheṅ, issī mutābik Bhārat kā nām roshan kareṅ, satsaṅg kā nām roshan kareṅ. Danyavād. Now may I request you to please? Thank you. Dear friends, sorry to speak in English. Thank you, Kamsinji, for your beautiful words. I am only a little wire on the big vehicle of Gurudev, so I’m just a humble servant, nothing else. And on these days of Guru Pūrṇimā, we have such a special atmosphere, which is difficult to describe in words. I am now 36 years already with Swāmījī, and I remember many, many Guru Pūrṇimās also here in Jadana Āśram with Holy Gurujī, and every time it’s something which is incredible. We in the West, we are not used to celebrating the fire of love, the fire of bhakti, to show our love, to express our love in words, in songs, in gestures. So, that’s for us like an explosion, which we can just see the light and the glance of this big love and devotion. And I want just for all of those who are looking in the webcast, and maybe you are astonished about the devotion which people here, Indians and others, are giving towards Swāmījī. Swāmījī, this may be strange for many of you, but you know, it is not the person which is adored, it is the light behind Swāmījī, behind Jasarājī, behind the saints, it is the origin of the light, it is the Gāḍī, it is the seat on which they are sitting. In front of this orange color, the color of the changing of consciousness, in front of this light, they are bowing down. And they pray, "Please help us in your physical form to find liberation." That is the meaning of this bowing down, of this devotion. And if you are able to do this kind of devotion, it is a big progress. Then God can work through you. And also on this day, I want really to name the origin of the Śrī Alak Siddhārthapīṭ Paramparā, Śrī Alak Purī Jī. Because he is the origin of yoga and daily life. He is the origin of the wisdom. He gave his wisdom to Devapurījī. Devapurījī gave to Mahāprabhujī. Mahāprabhujī gave to Holy Gurujī. Holy Gurujī gave to Swāmījī. And Swāmījī is spreading the word around the world, and Śrī Alakpurījī is still with us, always, and especially also on this day. So, I bow down in humbleness to Śrī Alakpurījī, the divine creator of my Guru Paramparā. And I had the great luck to visit the places in the Himalayas where he is still residing. And I can tell you that it is due to his grace and the grace of the Paramparā that three times I could escape a very, very dangerous situation which would have nearly cost my life. And I know it is only the grace of Śrī Alakpurījī and the whole Guru Paramparā who saved me out of this. And also, on this place in the Himalayas near Badrinath, I experienced two very miracles which happened to me, and he showed me his presence, Alakpurījī. And that’s why I’m very grateful for this, and maybe in my memoirs I will write down all this that happened there, which gave me a big influence and a big confidence also, that, you know, God is not far. And the Guru Paramparā, living or not living, they are not far. They are very much present at any time, and for this I am thankful, and I keep the love for my Guru Paramparā forever in my heart, in this life and in all other lives. I thank you, and I thank Swāmījī that I can be here. Praṇām. Thank you, Sādhu Swāmījī. We are 36 years old. It is the wish of Lord Siddīp Nārāyaṇa that a small seed, which is very big, but it takes a lot of time to grow into a big one. Similarly, there have been many experiences in my life from birth until today, and it took time for that. Dr. Śāntījī was just saying that she has celebrated many Gurupūrṇimās with me. It has been 37 years since Dr. Śāntījī met me for the first time. It has been 43 years since I have been in the school. I have done Pratviprikrama 42 times. I have met people in the number of lakhs and crores. I have become a disciple. The experience of life happens step by step. Every moment, there is some experience. Life is like a river; it is running. There are two banks of the river, one of happiness and one of sadness. The river runs in a curve. There are many curves and turns in life, but life is going on. Sometimes a ṭāpū comes in the middle of the same river, then the water becomes different, but after some distance, the water comes back to the same level. The goal of that river is up to that point, which we call the sea. After entering the sea, the name of that river flows into that sea. Then it is not called a river; it becomes a sea. The drop of water turns into a cloud, then the environment changes and water forms again. It rains, it gathers, and makes its way towards the sea. Similarly, we humans are such creatures, like there is water in our palm. That drop of water is the Jīva, that drop which will fall into the ocean. The ocean is Śiva, we are Jīvas. That drop, as soon as it enters the ocean, we don’t call it a drop, we call it the ocean. This Jīva becomes the form of Śiva. It takes time. We should practice, and our worldly behavior, religion, the religion of the human race, the religion of the family, the religion of the Sannyāsa Āśrama, according to that we are walking. Svarāt and Parmarāt both work together. So from time to time, coming into such a spiritual environment, going to satsaṅg, we get to hear the words of Mahāpuruṣas. The one and only word of Mahāpuruṣa that changes our lives. The word that is stuck, everyone says it is not stuck. It is stuck, it is stuck like this, and the beginning is over. So he created the entire Mahābhārata. What did he do with Draupadī? He made her blind. Whom did he call blind? Duryodhana, so the blind son of the blind saw that she gave him such a gift. He created the entire Mahābhārata on that. And Lord Rāma heard such a word that my mother Kaikeyī has a desire, and he is the son of his father. So what if I cannot repay him by being his son? He left everything and went into exile. So if you are a son, then you are like Lord Rāma. Lord Rāma is the most merciful and pious. He was complete in every way. And when Rāvaṇa was killed, he himself appeared in the sky before King Darśanata and said, "O Lord Rāma, I am blessed to have a son like you." So we should do such penance and teach such children that we should also feel proud that my children have become like this. Otherwise, everyone has to be spoiled. Everyone will have to go in 1984. But the worship of saints, and according to our culture, Vedic culture, Sanātana Dharma, only they will be blessed. One is that a person gives you blessings every day, and the other is that he abuses you every day. He abuses your children by saying that you are a sinner. How many times a day will a boy or a girl say that you are a sinner? They will go to hell. They will say that they will die. They will say that they will get blessings from their father. If you don’t have the strength to teach your children two words, then how will you learn the culture of this motherland? Are we worthy of being the children of this motherland? The brothers of other religions don’t say that. I have lost my mind. If you dig a well in a well, you will find a well in a well. I always say this. Our Hari Singh jī listens to this. Every day, Hari Singh jī says, "Bābājī said to his parents, ’They are calling from home.’" Dharmendra Singh jī said, "Dharmendra Singh jī has children." His grandson picked up the phone. He said, "Your father has called." Bābājī says, "Your father has called you, Hari Singh jī." Yes, this is the thing. That’s why change it. Change it. Save the culture. That’s why become the children of the true Bhārat. Become the queen like Jānśī of the true Bhārat. Become the mother like Mādhavī. Become the mother like Kauśalyā. Then we will be blessed here. Otherwise, it is fine. I said, you have heard. In Janak, it is known that one day there will be an insect. I will go and study in the hot water. In other places, I will go and study in the water. That is why, what is the religion of human beings? Dharma rakshita rakshitah. That religion is Sanātana Dharma. And what is the protection of Sanātana Dharma? Sanātana Dharma is not made up by humans. What does it mean that it is made up of humans? Bhagavad Gītā is made up of human beings. Because Lord Kṛṣṇa took the form of a human being, that is why he is a human being. Lord Rāma took the form of a human being; that is why he is made up of human beings. So a person like us, Mr. Muhammad, he was a human being. He has written the Quran, yet he is written as a human being. What about Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ was also a human being. Sanātana Dharma is like the sky; no one can make it. In Sanātana Dharma, there is no name of Bhagavān. There is no name of Bhagavān in the Upaniṣad. There is only one Bhagavān. In our Hindu Dharma, there is only one Bhagavān in Sanātana Dharma, and that is Īśvara. Īśvara, Allāh, your name. May God bless everyone. God is not there in all of us, but our Gurudev used to say, "One in all and all in one. One in all and all in one." So if there is an egg of Mayūr, that egg will have the same color as the egg of Mayūr. If we are the children of the same God, then we are the form of God. That is why language teaches a person, makes him an enemy. With one word, a person becomes willing to kill another. And with one word, we all become willing to save a person. So the voice that is coming into our ears in the form of the hymns of the saints, we do not know in which form we will get the lyrics. So see what happens in the hymn. But it is also said that the one who does not do the bhajan should sit quietly and not get up and go. Bolo Śrīnāthān Dharam, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Deva Purīṣa Mahādeva, Mādhava Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān, Yogeśa Purījī Mahārāj, Inko Pranāma, Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Maheśvānanda Bābājī Kī, Pāla Satguru Dev Bhagavān Kī. Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī, hold your hands together and raise them high. Polī Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmī Maheśvānand Gūrjī Mahārāj Kī. Ve haṅgo pahlī katorī loṇḍī vaste hoḍe. He said, "Bhīrā, bring the salt." It means that the salt that is mixed with the food, and the food is mixed with the salt, then the taste changes. In the same way, in the form of satsaṅg, which is Ājaj, Navadhī, Dariyā, in all of them, in the form of antaḥkaraṇa, the sins are removed from the mahal, from the satsaṅg. So for this, the poet Gaṅgā, in the newspaper, in the court, in the Ratna Kavi, why? Because whatever has been improved till now has been improved through satsaṅg. But there is no time. Like what Bāvjī said, "Satsaṅg amolak hīr tāje, Nār kāñch kā teer su preetī kare, Harī nām amīras chhod diyo, Nār viṣayan kī nit ghuṇṭ bhare, Gar nārī ko nar tyāg kare, Par nārī su ati preet kare." Shri Deep Narayan Bhagwan Ki Vishwaguru Mahāmandeśwar Swami Maheśwānand Purī Jī Bābajī Kī God bless you! God bless you! And Mr. Colonel, all the saints, Sādhvījīs, and Phoolpurījī Bhāvjī, I am remembering a very beautiful bhajan from those times. Because in all these oceans, all the living beings are Satguru, and all are Yācak. Satguru doesn’t give, and Yācak is like a disciple. So all of you, Kamal, may sabhī prathānā kar sakho, aur kairī prathānā karnā chāhī je, satsaṅg mein baiṭho, aur jo vātton karāyat, matta menā hai, jo koī bhī bhakt hai, tent mein ād pād jān, unār vaste viśeṣh hai, arre man tū mārī. Tu re gayo moorak dood, arre re gayo moorak dood palak bhar naam nilino. Kariya karm anek phon ghanai bagi hat sudan nahi dino ke sauri hod. Man tu maari maan le, tu atti utti phirno thod. So today we have come here to listen to satsaṅg at the feet of Bāpujī. And we have come here to have a discussion, and we are here in a tent. Don’t talk to me on mobile. I am tired of talking. So I request you all, today is a night of devotion. And this night of Kīrtan is coming to you. Who is coming? Nibbāno. So today, only satsaṅg. The satsaṅg should be done in a grand manner, without any noise. For this, Mahārāj says in Maṅgalgiri Jī, "O mind, you have accepted me." You have made me happy. You have opened your hands. These are the arrows of happiness. These are the arrows of happiness. God bless you. My pride, my shame, all of it is mine. Here, listen to the nature; it is mine. Oh, I request you. Those who request the Guru, raise your hands. Oh, I request you, oh Guru, that you keep me at your feet, oh mother.... Hello, Prakat, listen, I want to hide my shame and modesty everywhere. I am a petitioner at that Guru’s feet, who accepts even a worthless one like me. I am a petitioner at that Guru’s feet, who accepts even a worthless one like me. Ādho Yadri I request the Gurutās to keep my feet on their feet... Part 3: A Devotional Address and Discourse on Guru Pūrṇimā O Lord, listen to my praises. O Lord, listen to my praises. I request all of you that this is a Hindi bhajan. Say it together. It is very small, and it is to be understood. Understand it. This is a very big thing. My name is Usha Goswami, and I have come from Jaipur. God bless you. Is Guru Caraṇam in Arsat Tīrtha here? Yes. This is a very good bhajan. God bless you. They don’t even know what’s going on with their hands. Ur kī avidyā meṭke janam maraṇ dekhoī, janam maraṇ dekhoī, phir pācho nahī̃ āve. Dhīre dhīre samajhāe apno rūp darśāve. Dhanarām hoṭh dīp navakhaṇḍ me, gurū samān nahī̃ koī. Svāmī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, very beautiful bhajan. If there is any kind of knowledge in the ocean, and if there is any kind of spiritual knowledge, then it cannot be achieved without the blessings of Gurūṛṣis. So the satsaṅg guru tells us to do gururis. He Gurānśa binā kāraj nai sare, Koṭi upāī karenarī koī na bhava sindhu tāre. Without the Guru, there is no work. There is no solution to the problem. There is no way out. Without the Guru, there is no work. Satgurūsā binā kāraj nai, sare gā jāo, Kāśī jāo, cāro hī dhām phire. Go, go to Kāśī, go, wander to all four holy abodes, O sādhu brother, wander to all four holy abodes, O my mind, wander to all four holy abodes. Become a renunciant, an ascetic, become a renunciant, an ascetic, O ignorant one. Without grace, no task is accomplished, even after making millions of efforts, making millions of efforts is in vain. Without crossing the ocean of existence, without grace, no task is accomplished. Kheśat gursar binā karaj na īsato. Īsna māve bhaṭane bhet dhare. Oh, the devils have come to meet the devils, they have come to meet the devils. He is not a sinner, he is a true Guru. Without a true Guru, there is no work. Koṭi upāye, koṭi upāye, kare nāre ko sindu tāre. Sarvina, sarvina,... sarvina. God bless you. Tan man ārap kare, śaraṇ parāyaṇ ho jāve, so nirbandan vichire, Satgur sar vinā kāraj na hī sare. No one can come up with millions of solutions... Satguru sarvina kāraj naiṣare, karoḍ upāya kare koī, chāya karoḍ upāya kare nare koī na bhava sindhu. Satguru sarvina kāraj naiṣare. Lord Śiva, Lord Śiva,... Lord Śiva,... Lord. God bless you! This is how I was born, and this is how it all began. I always say, write a poem for me so that I can spend the rest of my life like this. Śrī Dīp Dayālu ke Amṛtyas, Śrī Dīp Dayālu ke Amṛtyas, Nitya Baraso Ānanda, Jug Jug Jīyo Maheśvarānand Jī, Jug Jug Jīyo Maheśvarānand Jī. Śrī Mahāmaṇḍeśvara Svāmī Mysore and Purījī Mahārāj kī, Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān kī. Did you come or not? Take a little more time. One mother is doing prasād, and the other one will come later. No, then I had to sleep. I had to sleep. Yes, that song. Laxman Bhai, wherever you are, it is difficult to come on stage. Surat kī maṇḍalī, gurū bhaiyoṁ se vintīye, vo isṭeś pe padharne kā kaṣṭ kare. Do Dharma Shambhala gurū Swāmī Mādhava Purī Bhagavān Karna Dharana Para Śvarpāna Pārvatī Nandana Namo Śrī Dīpa Śaraṇa Dāroodhaya. Śhūra nara muni śhava śhānta jana nithuṭ karte sev gyān vāde guṇvānī kī saṅgat, dhyān vāde tapasī saṅg kī na moho vāde parivār kī saṅgat, lobh vāde dhan me chit dina kām vāde tīrī saṅg kī na, krodh vāde nara muṇḍ saṅgat kī na. God is the creator of the universe, God is the creator of the universe, God is the creator of the universe. Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān kī Dev Purīśamadeva kī Bhajan, whatever bhajan you are listening to, Gurudev said that it is the word of the Vedas. The words of the Vedas descend into the hearts of the saints, and the saints, in their own language, fill them with so much sweetness that the listener desires to listen more. It awakens inspiration, so listening to bhajan is the end of the cycle of mind, intellect, and ego. It’s been a long time, and you all are tired. Still, listen to Bhajan. Because tomorrow there is a lot of work to be done. But Gurujī used to say, "If there were many living beings, they would have been able to sleep for many lifetimes." Be it a tiger, a crocodile, a lion, or a snake. Even if the animals are from the forest, they will not be able to sleep. But in the human body, sleep is a sign of ignorance. It is said that the time that we spend in sleep does not come in the count. And Meera Bhaī has also said that the day when a saint is found, in reality, a person’s life is counted on the same day when a saint is found, whether it is satsaṅg or knowledge. On the other day, it is the same as it is for other beings. So satsaṅg, sat sudhare satsaṅg pahāyī, mūrak bhī satsaṅg se sudhar jātā hai, tīr jātā hai, santon kī bānī amare ragh ragh yandar chalī jātī hai, aur janmān janam kā dharidhar dūr ho jātā hai, to neend to lehnī hai, to kā hai kī uḍhāḍī mārī neendar lī helī, Sadguru Śyām Murār. In the same bhajan, it is said that, "Where did you come from? Where did you go? Do you know or not?" What Sahalī says, what Sakhī says, they say to our senses, to our friends. All the friends meet, Maṅgal Gāire and Helī means our Sūratā. What is Sūratā? It is said that Uddadī Māri Nindralī Helī, Satguru Śyām Murār, that unknowable sleep is troubling us from birth to birth and is making us wander in the cycle of 84. That sleep goes away from the union of saints. So listen to the bhajan, you will be happy. And tomorrow’s work has been told. Now I am going to tell you a story from our international community. In 180 countries, people are watching me. They are listening to my bhajans. They are coming to me saying, "Swāmījī is very good, very good." They come from there and see all of you. The singers are singing very well. So this will go on at night, so for them, I will speak in English. So, all my dear ones, bhaktas, spiritual seekers here in this hall and around the world, anywhere you are—some of you have good morning, someone have evening, and someone have a good night—blessing is coming to you from holy Bharat, the Pope, me, the land of the heroes, the land of the sands, Rajasthan, and the holy spot for the tourists in India, Om Vishwadeep Guru Kul, Swami Maheshwarānā Dāsarām, as well as Alak Purī Jīsī, the Pīṭha Paramparā. This is the occasion of the full moon, Guru Pūrṇimā. In the Upanishads it is said, "tamaso mā jyotir gamaya," lead us from darkness to light. This word "tamso mā jyotir gamaya" means Gurudev. Gu means darkness, ru means light. He who leads us from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom. That principle is a Gurudev, not this body of the five elements. Panch tattva kā śarīr hī Gurudev nahīṁ hai. Mahatma said, the great saint said, in each and every heart God is dwelling. The light of God is in each and every heart. Doesn’t matter, human or animal, any creature. But my adoration, my adoration, my salutation, my devotion, my humbleness is to that body in whose heart God himself is speaking. Mahāprabhujī said in the bhajan, "Aisā merā satguru andar bole," my Gurudev speaks in me. So it is said, when you buy a box, and that box costs you millions, but not the box, but the inside. Inside is a diamond, very precious. Uskī kimat hai. And that you keep so carefully, not because of this little box, this container, but what is inside. Uskī price hai. Similarly, the value is the value of the knowledge, not the body. That knowledge which you have, you should give further. What you have, if you don’t give, you will lose it. The knowledge that we have, or that you have, if you can’t give that knowledge to anyone, then that knowledge will be lost. You have a great mantra to cut the snake and remove the poison. But you didn’t tell anyone, and you yourself died. So the mantra will be lost. Similarly, the guru tradition is like that. Guru is that one who is transforming that spiritual divine light into the disciples. But disciples should be śuṣupātra, not kupātra. Fill from above, fall from below. Gurū Mahārāj says, "Do it." That is Kupatra. Shupatra is that. Each and every word is like a papaya; it makes a hole in that drop. Or in Svātina Akṣara, the sepi grabs that other drop and makes a pearl in his stomach. So the disciple is just like that. The disciple is just like that. The Guru’s knowledge is just like that. You may give him a son, Milan, to do. Could look, you’re not over them. I, the Guru Jinākha Guru, they’ve said, "Half knowledge is more dangerous than no knowledge." Ado gyān katānā, go away, therefore. Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya, lead us from the darkness of the ignorance to the light of the wisdom. Asato mā sad gamaya, that is a guru, this principle. Asato mā, from unreality, lead us from unreality to the reality. Asatya kī aur se lījā karke hame. Satya ki aur lījā yeh Prabhu, wo guru tatva hotā hai, aur last kā hai ki mṛitur mā amṛitam gamaya yeh Prabhu, lead us from the mortality to the immortality, that this soul have been suffering many, many... lives. Now finally we made the Gurudev. So what is that Gurudev then? Not a body. Kevalaṃ jñāna-mūrtiṃ dvandhātītaṃ gagana-sadṛśyam. There is no difference between them. They are like the sky. One is like the sky. Surdhaji Maharaj says, "Prabhuji, mere augun chitna dharo, Sam drashti hai naam tyaro. Chahe to par karo, Sam drashti akash gagan sadrashyam, Dvandha-atitam-gagan sadrashyam tasmasyadi lakshyam." And we all have the same goal, that we should go to their refuge and reach their form, and we should become in their form. Because they are ekam nityam vimala chalam, they are only one, eko brahma dvitya nasti, ekam nityam, everlasting. They are nitya, they never get destroyed, ekam nityam vimala. There is no discrimination between the two. There is no discrimination between caste, form, status, or money. There is no discrimination between the two. There is no discrimination between the two. Otherwise, it is said, if one washes his mind for many births, it will remain the same. They wash their mind for many lifetimes, but the stain is so deep that it can tear the clothes of a person. But the stain is not torn, isn’t it? That is why Ācārya Rām Jī Mahārāj said, "Many lifetimes, if the mind is torn, it will be like this." And if the mind is torn, it will be like this. And if it is eternal, it will be like this. This is the speech of Ācārya Rām Jī Mahārāj. So, that knowledge, that Gurudev, who is non-material, is non-material, non-material, non-material,... non-material. We want to become the form of Satguru Dev’s consciousness, which is immaculate. Ekam nityam vimala chalam sarvādi sākṣī bhūtam. And He is the witness of all. Sarvādi sākṣī bhūtam. Even though He is the witness of all, bhāvātītam, He is beyond the feeling. There is no discrimination in that. Triguna rahitam. When he is deprived of the three guṇas, he is called Satguru Dev. Brahma, Viṣṇu, and Śiva. Brahma is the creator. Viṣṇu is Śiva’s virtue. Sattva is his virtue. And Shiva is the virtue of Tamo. Because he removes the darkness in the Tāmasyā Mā Jyotirga. Shiva is the one who does the Saṁhāra. And Śiva is the one who controls it. He is the one who is the destroyer. That is why it is said that Sarjana, that Sarjana, within them, in the end, there is a complete awareness that we are one, I am one, I will become one in many. The one who has this feeling, this complete awareness, he is called Hiraṇya Garbha. Golden egg, golden garbha, Hiraṇya Garbha. Within that Hiraṇya Garbha, this consciousness is awakened and created. Our being is born from the same place, and while walking back, we will reach the same place. Only then will we attain salvation. In the same way, like water, a drop of water is formed into a stream, and a stream is formed into a well. From the well, a river is formed. And from the river, it is formed into the ocean. So, the ocean is Satguru Dev. And this satsaṅg is the river in which we are all sitting. So that is why Guru Pūrṇimā is that. Finally, tamaso mā jyotir gamaya. So that’s what I wanted to tell, what means the satsaṅg and what means the Guru Pūrṇimā. Therefore, all my dear brothers and sisters around the world and here, I wish you all the best and the blessings of Sadgurudev, Devapurījī, Alagpurījī, Mahāprabhujī, and Gurujī. And my good wishes for your spiritual development and spiritual path. Now, midnight begins the Guru Pūrṇimā. In some countries, the sun is still shining. Don’t worry, the evening will also come, and there will be a full moon in the evening that you will see. This program according to the new daily time in India is 9 a.m. Morning, you will see that how this year many best dates in the sky and how it will descend from this guy to this, and especially to other home, temple, job, dealing, got blah, that’s Joe dealing with to add your billing at once. You will see different. You will say, "I never saw Śivjī’s face like that." In some phases of Śivjī, he has a full beard and mustache. And somewhere he is nicely, like you are cutting every day. Where was Śivjī? At that time, there was no soap or anything to apply in the building. Now, even you have become like this, and you have made Śiv Jī like this. Earlier, you had a moustache, so you kept it. You had a beard, so you kept it. Now we are the ones who make God into a form. If there were no saints and human beings, if there will be no humans, there will be no God. The word, the name God, humans gave. We introduced who is God. God, and therefore God should also be thankful to us. So it is that scent, scent have introduced the body, the God. Therefore, it is said the scent, the senses are higher than God itself. Therefore, finally, it is a guru: the Brahma guru, Viṣṇu guru, Devo Maheśvara guru, sākṣāt para Brahma, that’s me. Sri Guru means, "So what is Guru?" That Guru Tattva, that Guru principle, is within you. Just practice correct and right practice of yoga sādhanā, that is what we call yoga in daily life: scientific system and self-inquiry meditation. Learn the Brahma Vidyā, Brahma Kriyā. Say Brahma Vidyā. Say, "He Brahma." Kyā gyān ho saktā hai? Toh vahī Brahma kahlātā hai. "Brahma jānēti brāhmaṇa." Jisne Brahma ko personally... I will... brāhmaṇa or the brāhmaṇa. So three or tie waste at the... Guru can apply so a burden. Sunny up, I wish you all the best, and good evening. Tomorrow morning, I will be coming to you. There will be sannyās dīkṣā. You will see also live in life webcast, and then you will see how the siddhi is coming, so. Waiting for you. Deep, but one... he, they, puruṣa, Mahādeva, mother, Kṛṣṇa, Bhagavān. He, so a budget guy? Any concert? All again? Yo, such thing is a Sukhoi? Oh, very. Good. Only you can be happy through satsaṅg, and only you can be unhappy through the kusaṅg. Both. Uthān and patan. Uthān satsaṅg se and patan kushaṅg se. God bless you.
