Complexes

A call for clarity and disciplined practice.

Some claim to be holy incarnations; these are psychic illnesses requiring treatment, not indulgence. Daily problems like unemployment and partnership issues stem from a lack of sincerity and a clear mind. The inner self is polluted with karmic impurities. These require purification through persistent practice: early morning sādhanā, mantra, and meditation. Most do not practice, leading to health problems rooted in laziness and carelessness. Do not be manipulated by dreamers or negative stories. You possess the tools: initiation, chants, and techniques. Practice diligently to purify the subconscious layers of emotion and expectation that bind you. Surrender the ego and follow the teachings.

"Eighty-six percent of those who are sitting here don’t practice. What can I expect?"

"Practice, practice, practice. You are holy, but there is a hole still."

Good morning to everybody, all dear ones. Many blessings also to other bhaktas around the world who are with us via the webcast—a webcast from the web, which matches the name. We had a very creative seminar weekend program, and there are a few points I would like to point out. There are some people among us. Someone said, "I am the incarnation of Mahāprabhujī." Someone said, "Mahāprabhujī is talking to me." And someone said, "I’m the incarnation of Swāmī Jasrāj Purī, a previous partner." And someone told that I’m seven lives with Swami Vivek Purī. It’s not a joke. It is a very serious thing. And the same thing they used to say to me also. And when they don’t get anything, then it is said, the grapes are too sour. So when such people have such ideas, they should immediately go to psychiatric treatment. When someone tells you, you should immediately say, "Please, thank you," and go to the doctor and bring the certificate. Mahāprabhujī will not incarnate in such a way, or some Devpurījī or whatever it is. So there are about ten people from the Czech Republic, male and female. They are dreaming that they are holy incarnations. So, please, do not confuse other people with your psychic illness. As well as, of course, in ex-Yugoslavia there is a lot. And they are destructive. They create stories which nowhere exist. So, if Mahāprabhujī is incarnated, I will tell you. And I’m looking forward, but it is not like that, my dear. Forget your dreams, and forget your daydreams. Then many daily problems appear to many people. This is the normal situation in the world. Every country has a problem with employment. Many companies are private. And of course they don’t pay you for the thing. If you use the petrol, if you use the kilometers, then you have to pay for the petrol. So many people have problems at their jobs, and many companies want to get rid of people who are just sitting and dreaming and saying, "I am an incarnation. That last life, I was the general director’s partner." Yes, my dear, it’s not a joke, it happened. So you are a yogī. You should have a very clear mind. Many of you have partnership problems. Many partners are apart. And you don’t have feelings. And you get rid of one partner, the next day you come with some other partner. That is only available in Kali Yuga. To find a partner immediately after half an hour, what a Kali Yuga! So it means there was no love and there was no sincerity. And that’s your problem, you are suffering. Another thing is, because in the layer of our past existence, there are a lot of pollution, a lot of karmic impurities. It doesn’t matter through what you collect it; that has to be purified. Great Saint Ācāryamjī said, many, many lives you walk, purify your mind, but still there are very hard, nasty spots on it. So the vairāgya is the stone of the vairāgya, and the soap of the knowledge, and the water of viveka and bhakti, you can clean this. But it will take more years for you, or lives. Please do not dream; do not think you are already holy. You are holy, but there is a hole still. Like a bamboo, so you should follow the instruction of the great saints. It would be a great pity in our life if, in this life, we do not purify the inner energy which is stored in our body through many things: food, air, societies, relations, etc. The inner self is polluted. Malvikṣepa and Āvaraṇa are too strong. Therefore, every morning you should do your sādhanā. You must get up early in the morning, give up that sleep. And do your mantra, do your kriyā. And pray to purify your antaḥkaraṇa. Go to sleep early, so that it is easier for you to get up earlier. If you have trouble getting up early in the morning, then don’t eat your dinner; quit your dinner. Last eating should be at five o’clock. You will see, early morning you will get up very fresh and hungry. And you will sit long in meditation without tamoguṇa. Abhyāsa, Abhyāsa, O Kaunteya Abhyāsa, O son of Kuntī, Arjuna, practice, practice, practice. In our seminars, all teachers who are giving instructions do their best. When Krishnānandajī spoke the day before yesterday, he tried to take all the cream out to give you. Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Swāmī Vivek Purījī, when he spoke, he tried his whole life to cream what he collected to give you. What did you learn, my dear? Nothing. Maybe some, yes, but you said, "Oh, he said like this. He is a carrot of our own garden, Karvaishan." So don’t think, ah, Karvaishan, he’s my garden’s production. There is something different than you think. Initiation makes a great difference. And that initiation is a protection for a person. An inspiration to develop, so you should learn to practice. Eighty-six percent of those who are sitting here don’t practice. What can I expect? 86% of all who are not practicing have health problems. And there is only one reason, only one cause: our lust, our laziness. When the laziness is there, then you don’t care. It is carelessness. Then many, many thoughts come into the mind, and you think, "I must enjoy something more." Like your midlife crisis. The normal person, the healthy person, who has no psychic disturbances, the mid-life crisis is not a problem at all. Contrary to that, I am happy. I managed to come across the mountain, and I am now happy. My horses are calm and content, and I am so happy to have grey hair, but people put the black colour again. So, grey hair is the light of your wisdom, and the black colour which you are putting is the darkness of your ignorance again. Coloring your hair and making up your face doesn’t change the reality of your age. When you go to the bathroom, take off your dress, and go into the shower, you become a friend of the mirror. Oh God! Quickly, quickly. But that is an unreality. Accept life. Now you have great initiation. You have golden chants in your hands. Yoga in daily life, and we are rich enough. We have our holy lineage, our holy masters, so try to become normal. Do not be manipulated by people. The crazy person talks so much, makes so many stories, and creates these stories. And unfortunately, the negative stories, everyone likes to listen. And if someone said, a wise one said, no. But that wise one will show the torch and say, "There is no ghost; there is only the blankets." But a crazy one can destroy so many people from their peaceful, happy, spiritual life. That’s the biggest sin. So a rock goes down in the ocean, and those who are holding the rock will also go down. So rock of the ignorance, rock of the ego, rock of the emotion, and rock of just dreaming that I am that. One man came to Mahāprabhujī, and he said, Soham, I am Ātmā. And Mahāprabhujī said, "And?" What means "and"? I am Ātmā. So Gurujī said, "Then sit down." So, reality is different, my dears. Long, long years, lifelong, we have to practice. We are struggling. Nobody will give you anything, and they can’t give you. Therefore, today, make the saṅkalpa on the first of December, and in the first of Advent, and the first step in the era of the Christmas. And think of the life of Jesus, not what he told, but how he struggled. But he didn’t give up. That’s why he was successful. So you should not give up. Even he had to be crucified. And he didn’t say, "Okay, please forgive me, I’m not like that. I will do all that you want." So coward, Jesus was not, and you are also not like that, but the ignorance doesn’t let you work. Lucky are you that you have initiation mantra. Lucky are you that you have Kriya Yoga. And lucky you are, you have a Meditation technique which I gave you, Mānasik Pūjā. So early morning, you should purify yourself. Practice, practice, practice. So, please, anyone in any country, in any group, when someone comes and says, "I am the mentor of Pārvatī," then say, "Thank you, we have good technology, telephone to Pārvatī." Say, "This person is saying that this and this is true." Pārvatī will say, "Even I don’t know the face and name of the person," so... Anyone who is talking that I am following now this master’s astral body, there are so many dreamers, so many. Please immediately put on the list psychic case, and 10% of the society healthy, one sign on it. So that the stupidity of that person will not burden you. So, how many psychic cases do you have? So please, until the end of this year, collect them, and then we will pray for them. We will help them, and we will try as much as we can to help them. But you should write to everybody, say, "This is a psychic case; that boy is sitting here." So please, if he does any mistake, forgive him. This is because he is like this. So, these are very hard words that I’m talking about. Many people are listening around the world, and many have these problems in their group, so this is the best treatment. When somebody tells you something, and you can’t digest it. Immediately he said, "What a rude person." Then the problem is not in the person, but in you, my dear. You have to melt your ego. That’s it. So if someone tells you how good you are, it was beautiful, nice. And you say, "Oh, it’s okay, thank you." And the other one will say, "Ah, how horrible, you brought such negative energy into the room." You know what a reaction is. So, if someone tells you something, you should show your inner love. And wait and see, the same person will come to you again. And surrender. This is if you immediately act like popcorn on a hot pan. On the hot pan, you put a corn on it, and how do you call it? It pops up. And that person cannot be successful. It is a psychic problem. Problems from childhood and from past life, so the master tells you what technique, what Kriyā you have to do to purify this. When iron is hot, it is soft, and you can mold it in different ways, but it again becomes cold and hard. Then the master again puts... Into the fire, to mold into such a beautiful ornament or some door, that iron had to go how many times in the fire and under the hammer? That’s it. So, every reaction which you get from other people’s reaction, if it disturbs... You, my dear, it is a clear picture that this quality is in you. So read again the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gītā. What Krishna is saying about name and fame, gain and loss. Friend and enemy, the 12th chapter you should read very carefully. And then try to experience, experiment in your heart. Don’t blame your parents. Many are saying, "Ah, understand them. They have done nothing to me, for me." Yes, my dear, they have done nothing for you, but they have done one thing: they gave you birth, they brought you into human life. Be thankful for that. So it doesn’t matter how your parents are; don’t forget the thankfulness. That’s it. So surrender and purify all the layers of karmics and impurities collected in every cell of your body. And this old cell dies, and new cells develop, and this energy is transferred onto that. In which way you got it, in that way you have to get rid of it. There was a man who had many camels. And he was going, bringing his whole bunch of camels into the forest. And in the night, he used to stay somewhere in the forest. And that owner of the camels, he tied every camel every night to a different tree, or he had some iron hooks dug into the earth and tied them. And around 8 o’clock, he freed them again from the rope from the nose, tied with the ring in the nose to some stone or some bush. One day, by chance, he came near a hut. And there was sitting one mahātma, one sādhu, very calm and peaceful, at least outside. I don’t know who was inside, how it is. And that man thought, "It’s nice that I will stay here all night with my camels." It’s a desert, free area. So he had a hammer. He put the iron hook in the earth, tied it with the rope, and then tied the camel and sat down. The camel sits the whole night, and he is sitting. Obedience. One camel’s rope was lost, so he couldn’t tie him there. And in the night, surely, he will walk away. So he went to the Mahātma, the Sādhu. Sir, do you have some rope? Tomorrow I will give it back to you. He said, "For what do you need a rope?" He told the story. He said, "Sorry, I don’t have a rope, but I can give you the rope." Tie him as every day you are tying? Yes, please, but I have no rope. He said, "I know you don’t have a rope, but go to your camel and tie him." Master, you know, there’s about a four- or five-meter-long string. And I have to tie on his ring, nose ring, and then with the hammer on this hook, and then I tie him so he can’t go. I have a hook, I have a hammer, and I have a camel, but I don’t have a rope. He said, "That’s what I’m telling you. You just go and tie him." He said, "I don’t know how to tie my horse or my camel without a rope." Master said, "Ah, how much should I explain to you? Come, I will tie you up." He ran, master, run there, you know. Which camel? He said, "Okay, where’s the hammer?" He took one stone and hammered on the stone. And then he tied it, he put hocus pocus, and the rope. He makes up the camel; the camel makes him alone. He holds the ring, Sit down. The camel was sitting there peacefully the whole night. The next morning, the man freed all the camels. They were going into the field, but that one which was tired couldn’t go. He is being, always his head is there. So he went to the Master, "Master, can you free my heart, my camel?" The Master said, "Free him as you tied him, but there is no rope, sir." He said, "That I know, but open that rope." "Master, I didn’t see any rope. In your hand, there was no rope." He said, "I know." The camel is not so stupid. He saw the rope. And that’s why, you know, he can’t go. Then please come and open. Master came where the hook was. He was moving like this, and the rope in his hand. That is a psychic condition. We are tied to certain emotional or psychic bandages. Now it is not there, but we can’t be free. So such is emotional, such is psychic problems, which make many layers on our subconscious, our antaḥkaraṇa, which are sprayed in our body, that we have to purify through nourishment, through good society, through prayers, through prāṇāyāma, meditations, and mantra, mānasika pūjās. And if the Master gives you direct certain techniques, then you will finish your inner camel. Otherwise, this camel will be tied forever and ever in this Kali Yuga, in this Saṃsāra. You will not be able to get rid of that. So many of us are tied to certain emotions. Expectation. I will get back, or I will get. There was a laundry man. And he used to take the laundry, go to some river, clean the laundry, and dry it and bring it back. Bringing the laundry from the city to the river and from the river to the city, he had one ducky. He was putting a lot of weight on it and beating the donkey. When he came into the whole city, he unloaded the clean laundry and put the dirty cloth on it. Again, beating him to go quickly. Of course, there is no question of giving drinking and eating at all. He had some wounds on his back. His buttocks were swollen because the donkey was very unhappy with the beating. In the evening, he left the donkey free. Go somewhere to find something to eat, that’s all. The owner was not giving anything. And in the morning, he goes and holds the ear of the donkey while beating it. Then, when at night all the donkeys meet together somewhere on a street corner, and all the donkeys are talking to each other about life situations, the day, etc. And the donkey of the laundry man was unhappy, very slim. Nothing was given to him to eat, and he had a lot of pain. He was cursing the wound, and flies were sitting on it. He was always very unhappy. So one day they asked him, "Why are you not running away? Go away now. Walk the whole night, a far distance, and the next day, a far distance. Why are you staying here again? He will catch you and beat you." He said, "Yes, the idea is very good." But he said, "What is it, but? My boss, the laundry man, has one beautiful girl. She is lazy, number one, and he always shouts at her to work. And he said, 'If you will not work, I will marry you to the donkey.' And he said, 'Even pain and beating, I hope he will marry me to that girl.'" That is expectation, hope. So some of us, we are that enkī. We are suffering, and we hope it will not come. Open the tie of that. Because that is suffering, that you still have that pollution inside. That pollution which is put in you, in which way doesn’t matter. Even one word: emotional, or anger, or hate. Therefore, practicing yoga and the spiritual path means becoming free from your inner suffering. And sometimes you don’t think you are suffering. You are right, and you would like to have that. My dear, you can’t bathe in the same river twice. No. When you go to the river for bathing, you dip in and come out; the second time, you can’t dip in the same water. Because that water has gone far, flown away. So, my dear, that water is not here. It has flown, gone. You will not catch it again. Similarly, what happened, do not suffer for that. And that which is existing in you may create aggressivity. And this aggression, you will reflect on others. Just go within thyself. Humble this, humble this, humble this. So, it is said, we should follow the Guru Vākya. Deveśvara Mahādeva, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Gurudeva Kī Jaya, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jaya, Nibhānahere Nibhānahe, Satguru ke Vacana Nibhānahe, Follow, Obey, Obey, Gurudeva’s words, Guru Vākya. Purify, purify. Ninety-eight percent of all your problems will disappear. If you will practice mental worship and purification. Choice is yours. Advice is mine. You have it. Use it or lose it; it is your karma. But my dharma is to alert you. Therefore, there are many crazy people, and you never know in which narakaloka they are. So, the blind lead the blind. And like one sheep falls into the hole, the second falls into the hole. Be alert, be aware. Mahāprabhujī said, Chaitanya is the conscious, universal one. A chaitanya is the dead one, or in coma, in ignorance. So, I wish you all the best. And I think there was a candle for the advent. Don’t move this. You move the whole universe. Thank you. Which one first, the left one or the right one? The bigger one, and then this, and then this and this, no? Thank you. Om Dīpa Jyoti Parabrahma Dīpam Sarve Mohanam Dīpanam Sajjate Sarvam Sandhyā Dīpam Sarvasatyam Śubham Karoti Kalyāṇam Ārogyaṁ Dhanasampada Śatru Buddhi Vināśāya Dīpa Jyoti Namostute Om Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ... Hey, wish you a very happy December. And the era, the time of Jesus’ coming, and happy Christmas and prosperous new year. This is the month, this is the time where you clear your mind and your heart, forgiveness, and create the friendship. Forgive the negatives. And give the positives. All the best. Good journey to everyone. Drive calm, peacefully. And we will see whenever this time is.
