Bhajans From Om Ashram Temple, Jadan, Part Two

The true Guru reveals the supreme state and grants the cup of love, which awakens the seeker and compels right action. This love is the nourishment that leads to immortality, breaking the cycle of birth and death. All worldly attachments are false compared to this knowledge. The essential duty is to take refuge in the Satguru without delay, for time passes swiftly. Without the Guru, true knowledge and rest cannot arise. The name of the divine must be chanted to escape delusion. Do not waste youth in trivial pursuits; act now to secure liberation.

"The true Guru means having found the cup of love; that detachment gambler has awakened me, taking away my sleep."

"Without the true Guru, knowledge does not arise, nor does one find rest in life."

Victory to Rām Jī Mahārāj, victory to Gurudev. Rām Jī Mahārāj is the supreme Pramā. Gurur Viṣṇu, Gurur Devo Maheśvara, Gurur Sākṣāt Paraṁ Brahma. To that Śrī Guru, I bow. The one who pervades the entire unbroken circle, who fills all moving and non-moving beings, who has revealed the supreme state—to that Śrī Guru, I bow again and again. I bow to the immaculate, I offer my salutations to the Guru Deity, I pay my respects with all reverence and prostrations, with utmost devotion. The Supreme beyond the supreme, the highest Soma, the divine, the pure, the formless, the spotless, the absolute—before that darkness, the first light, the essence of the Guru, the embodiment of all movement—love is the cup, love is the nourishment; love is born anew in every vein, love is the cup, love is the nourishment. I accepted and offered the ritual drink. The true Guru means having found the cup of love; that detachment gambler has awakened me, taking away my sleep. The true Guru means having found the cup of love; He has made me drink the wine of karma. The true Guru means having found the cup of love; all families and clans, O Rāma, are false in this world. He has revealed to me the knowledge of the speech of the Self. That true Guru gave me the cup of love to drink, and through that love, I was made to perform my duties. That true Guru gave me the cup of love to drink. At the sacred pilgrimage, I bowed down at the feet of the Guru. The true Guru showed me the path. That true Guru gave me the cup of love to drink, and through that love, I was made to perform my duties. That true Guru gave me the cup of love to drink. I have attained that which neither dies nor is born, which does not remain in this world; the path to immortality was shown by the Sadguru. I have received the cup of love from the Sadguru. I have met the divine Gurupūra, the king of kings. I have received the body of the Sadguru. I have been given the wine of love by the Sadguru. I have been made to drink the wine of love by the Satguru through my actions. Speak of Rām Jī Mahārāj, Swāmī Śrī Dādū Dayāl Jī Mahārāj; speak of Rām Gurudev Jī Mahārāj; speak of Swāmī Śrī Dādū Dayāl Mahārāj. Salutations to Satguru Kabīr Sāhab, to Anansirdaryāv Jī Mahārāj, to Pramma Seratyan Khaṇḍe, to Tār Rāmānanda Yānanda, to Guru Govind Yādā, to Dādū—namo namo Niranjanam, namaskāre, Guru Devatē vandanam. Salutations to all sādhus, obeisance to the perfected ones, to the supreme Brahman, the supreme beyond, formless, the pure—salutations to that Dādū. Namo Rām, the supreme Brahman, Satguru, saint, revered by the people of the world, I bow to you again and again, moment by moment. All saints and devotees bow down, namo namo. The Lord is the beloved of Kabīr, the master of Dādū, the beloved of all saints, the shore of the ocean. Go to the shelter of the immortal Guru. Rām is victorious, Hari is victorious; your youth will pass away, do not delay. If you make a mistake, it is not yours to be blamed; the mistake lies in not recognizing it or avoiding it. Whether you find the truth nearby or far away, whether you meet it or not, whether you accept it or reject it, tell me—go to the refuge of the Satguru. Take the name of Rāma, take the name of Hari. Your time will pass; there is no delay. Tell me, go to the refuge of your Satguru. Your time will pass; do not delay. Never accept anything as fixed right now; whatever you do, it will fall into your destiny. Never accept anything as fixed; never accept what you do. Read the scriptures; whatever you do, speak with devotion. Go to the sacred place; play the rāga, play the drum. Your youthful days will pass away; do not delay in going to the refuge of the Satguru. Let the name of Rāma resound. Your youthful days will pass away; do not delay in going to the refuge of the Sadguru. Let the name of Rāma resound, let the name of Hari resound. Your youthful days will pass away; do not delay. Speak your word, the river flows; the guru’s time is like the sun’s rise and fall. You are steadfast, that day is known as the day of holding onto Hari. In times of darkness, one takes refuge in the Guru; going to the Guru’s refuge, O Rām, the sound of the drum resounds, the sound of the drum resounds—your youthful days have passed. Go, it is not yours; do not call it yours. Your youth is not meant to be wasted in trivial pursuits. Whatever you do now, study the Māṇḍūkya Upaniṣad with full attention. Going to the refuge of the Guru, neither Rām nor Hari will be invoked; your time will pass, but you will not act. I have spent my youth for You; I do not wish to do anything else but serve You. One never truly dies, one never truly perishes; the mother, in her very form, sustains us. Victory to the soul through the name of that Guru’s feet. Hail to Mahā Maṇḍaleśvara Viśva Guru Paramahaṁsa Yugirāja, Hail to Mahīśvara Ānandajī Mahārāj, Hail to the eternal dharma of sanātana, Hail to the bliss of today, Śrī Pūjya Bhagavān Dīp Narāyaṇa Prabhu, Sovereign everywhere. The supreme Puruṣottama Swāmī, Śrī Pūjya Dīp Dayāl Swāmī Mādhavānanda Jī, became blissful; the Lord bestowed His benevolent glance. Infinite are the means for man to attain; without the true Guru, knowledge does not arise, nor does one find rest in life. Swāmī Mādhavānanda says this truth. Lāja, we are the protectors of Prahlāda; you emerged from the fire, breaking the pillar, manifesting instantly, O Swāmījī, dispelling calamity. O Supreme, protect our honor, grant us strength and sovereignty. Lāja, we are the protectors of Prahlāda; you who took the enemy within the water, calling out Your name, rushing swiftly to save me in times of distress. O Murārī, preserve my honor in this world. On the shore, I say, the world is saved by the saints; such saints save infinitely. Now it is my turn—subscribe, subscribe, subscribe,... subscribe. Chant the victory of Satguru Dev! Victory to Dīp Mādhava Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān! Bābjī used to say, Mādhavānanda Jī Bābjī used to say, whenever there is satsaṅga, the entire universe is indeed the form of Mahāprabhujī, but first and foremost, Mahāprabhujī’s... It is very important to have two discourses; therefore, everywhere, in every āśrama and every sampradāya, the first thing that happens is that two discourses are given by the local saints. After that, the entire night is filled with the chanting of Rām. So please forgive me, I am singing one bhajan of Bābjī: "Maṅgala Mūrti Mā Prabhu Śrī Viśva Dīpa Ujjvala." When Swāmī Mādhavānanda Prabhu manifested in the heart, then Śrī Pūjya Dīp Dayāl Pajore’s heart was illuminated. O mind, let the light of Prabhu Dīp Dayāl shine forth. O mind, let the great light shine forth. O mind, let the supreme light shine forth. Hari assumed a form with qualities in the world, the protector of all beings. Hari assumed a form with qualities, my beloved protector of all beings. Inside and outside, there is completeness; inside and outside, there is completeness. But the light is supremely vast. O mind, awaken your intellect and wisdom. O mind, awaken your great intellect and wisdom. Beyond is Brahman, the Supreme Person, Svāmījī. Beyond is Brahman, the Supreme Person; grant us your benevolent vision. O mind, sound the drum of divine wisdom with your feet; sound the drum of a name that frees one from the entanglements of worldly illusion. Whoever chants that name escapes the snares of delusion and confusion. Birth and death, the cycle of bondage, is broken; birth and death, the cycle of bondage, is broken, and liberation is attained immediately. So, O mind, sound the drum of divine wisdom with your feet; sound the drum of wisdom within the mind. Pāra Brahma Puruṣottama Svāmī, Pāra Brahma Puruṣottama Jaraniyā Bajore, Manvā Mā Prābudī Padayā Bajore, Manvā Sat Joro Dīn Jīv Ubāran Tāran Kāraṇ Āye, Param Kṛpā Baṛe Bhāg Se Darśan Pāye, Baṛe Bhāg Se Darja Pāye, Mon Madan Ko Pāl Bhājore Man Bāl.
