Part 1: A Gathering of Devotion You all know that our revered Gurudev, due to his health, is unable to give his blessings in person. Humbly taking permission from everyone and receiving the blessings of all of you, the public, I cannot say what I will be, but whatever program takes place today will be under his guidance. By the command of some revered ones, we will proceed and endure there. I want to give the most thanks to my dear friend and brother, who is now also a guru brother. I don’t know where you have settled, Shri Narendra Bhai Chaudri. Where are you sitting, Narendra Bhai? You are not visible. Please come and sit here. I pray to you that you chant with such great enthusiasm that the sound reaches all the way from here to Goyal Hospital. Just now, some brothers were saying that at Goyal Hospital, Gurujī keeps wondering what those brothers sitting here in the front with their turbans off must be thinking, what those sitting behind with their turbans tied must be thinking. There are my mothers and sisters, and here all these boys are sitting who are scholars. What could they be thinking more than us? Who is Jas Rajpuri Ji? You will like that song. Which of my requests at Gurujī’s feet will be accepted? The artist has to take an exam every day. This is not a B.Com or an L.P. degree, nor is it a medical degree. It is a kind of degree for which we have to study every day. Every day we have to take an exam, and sitting in the presence of such Gurus, we have to give a certificate daily through the phone. And if anyone supports us in giving that certificate, it is you, the devotees. Therefore, Janatā Janārdana is my shield. With applause, giving everything—Dīp Dayāl, everything. Some Devé Dīp Dayāl, everyone sit down. It’s not so cold yet that you can’t raise your hands. Yes, that’s right. Those sitting at the back, all high, raise your hands and with applause, everyone give Devé Dīp... The giver will give, the donor will give—today I do not even say that they will not give. Everyone has their own feelings, so this is the will, these are definitely the rules. Gurujī is absolutely there; you are fresh, you are light. There is some divine union in you, so do not... Please forgive any faults, as this is taken from the books Paddha Rahani, Ānanda Prakāś, and others by Bhājane Darendra Bhāī. I was thinking the same and had said that today, on Gurujī’s death anniversary, you should definitely listen to some bhajans written by Dātā. I am just trying my level best and I need your support, please. Dhyāna dhyāna. The divine grants yoga and the method of yoga, the divine grants, the divine grants self-knowledge and illumination, grants everything with compassion. Meditation, meditation... meditation... The new one neither gives wealth nor takes it; some give courage, some give compassion, some give compassion—this is something to remember. Whoever takes, that Supreme Bliss grants; gives sorrow, yet grants Supreme Bliss. Everyone knows, the giver fulfills all these demands and needs. See how many improvements are there in this weight—observe, Yaśa. Viśva Viśva... Viś... Subscribe, subscribe... Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe. Subscribe if you wish to be blessed at their feet; may this presence be accepted. For these artists, my dear brothers, a very beautiful couplet comes to mind, a verse that is so fragrant that even the spring blossoms would be awakened. And you all should applaud in such a way that it ignites enthusiasm in these artists to perform. Deceptive devotion is not accepted by the Lord. Deceptive devotion is not accepted by the Lord; deceptive devotion is not accepted by the Lord. Only true, sincere devotion is accepted... To spread the message, Śvarṣa Samārātha Śailendra Bhāratī, whose sweet voice and music we never even imagined would cast such a spell, today seeing you in person, I cannot express my gratitude enough. I am subscribing and will continue to make efforts ahead as well. If you all are feeling good, then it is because of Gurujī, and if anywhere you feel even a little that I am touching your heart, then the credit goes to my brother Narendra Bhai sitting here. He had great faith in me, but I also came here very hesitantly. I did not know, and if many mistakes happen, after this program I will come back to you all, and you can come and scold me. We are also grateful to our brother Narendra ji; all the devotees express their thanks through him. Yes, today you have honored us at home in Ganja, and by presenting the emperor of speech, Śailendra Jī Bhāratī, before us, you have bestowed upon us... There was much negligence, but today, by the grace of Gurudev, we have received this auspicious opportunity. We pray to Gurudev that you may progress rapidly and exponentially, and continue to spread love in the hearts of the people at all times. Hari Om. You all have not come; those who do not come will not hang around. So it’s not absolutely necessary, but if I come to this village, then I hope you will come to the village as well. You all stay here, and you come here. You become yourselves, please let them sing, because when you join in, you yourselves will be seen. Oḍū āp riyā ve Gurujī, Oḍū āp riyā ve Gurujī,... subscribe, subscribe... Subscriptions are coming more from the children, not from the elders. That’s all the effort needed; after that, it’s up to you to do as much as you can. Wherever our devotees are seated abroad, all those people are watching this live telecast of Gurujī today. This watching, so let’s not lose these opportunities. Don’t lose this chance. With as much devotion, with as much feeling, with as much intensity and loudness, remember Gurujī’s name. May the Lord permeate the entire universe in such a way that everyone begins to come to us for this very reason. Once again, say with great devotion, "Jaya Hai Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān." For centuries, universal devotion has been flourishing in our country. On this land, such great saints and sages have incarnated, among whom are our Bhagavān as well as our Sadguru Dev. But among the ancient saints, and especially if we consider the female devotees, if we take any name from the highest echelon, there are such female devotees who were dedicated to Kṛṣṇa, Bhagavān... She dedicated her entire life at the feet of Krishna, offering herself completely—such was the devotion of the saint Mīrā Bāī. During her lifetime, Mīrā Bāī composed very few bhajans in which she mentioned the name of Rāma besides Krishna. I seek your permission to sing one such much-discussed bhajan for you all. Centuries ago, the greatness of the grace of the Sadguru was described in the following lines: "What Sadguru is given, that is Ram," meaning Bhagavān. Not by the name, but by the Rāma nāma, Bhāī has beautifully presented it with great wealth. Bhāī has given the invaluable essence of the true guru, the invaluable essence of the true guru... The wealth of Rāma Ratna that I have attained cannot be compared to any other wealth; there is simply no comparison. When someone asked how, Vīrā Bhāī says that if this wealth comes to me, or to you, then see what benefit it will bring. Neither false expenses nor thieves steal; neither false expenses nor thieves steal; neither false expenses nor thieves steal; neither false expenses nor thieves steal. And day by day, you gain everything; yes, day by day, you increase in everything. Yes, I am Ram Radan Dhan, I have accepted the true Guru, the true one. Of the Sadguru. The entire creation is known by the wise; the Vedas are known by the knowledgeable; the enlightened ones remain happy. The entire creation of Om is needed, brother. Since then, for the artist, brother, the artist’s sustenance is maintained in this way. Rajasthan needs to become a little more vibrant and rich. You all are excellent listeners, just as Śrī Kṛṣṇa had earrings with śoṇita in his ears, similarly, for these artists, please extend your hands and support them. Dev Namāv Bhāīsāb sang a bhajan of Guru Mādhavānanda Jī. I am subscribing, not with preparation but with feeling, and this feeling will surely please you. My eyes are fixed at the feet of the Satguru, my heart is immersed in the mercy hidden at the lotus feet of the Satguru. O mind, do not wander; remain at the lotus feet of the divine mercy. My eyes are fixed at the feet of the Satguru. Since the moment I beheld the sacred feet, I have become a renunciate. Covered in the dust of the feet, I became like a crow, drawn to the feet of the Satguru, drawn, drawn to the feet of the Satguru... Clink clink... Without seeing the feet, there is no peace; without seeing the feet, there is no peace. The eyelids do not close, the unstruck sound flows. I have subscribed to everything, both have hurried me today, both have hurried me. I do not know if there is a form. I did not know that today, sitting here in this place, I would be taking the name of Śrī Pūj Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇ. It is a great fortune. If you all sit with me, then please do join in. Śrī Pūj Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇ is indeed a great blessing. Mādhavānanda is the Lord’s feet, Mādhavānanda is present in the gathering at the feet of the Satguru, present, present, present... Please subscribe, Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān’s true guru, the inner true guru, has spoken—this is my true guru. Inside, you have spoken thus: my Satguru is formless, conscious, and imperishable. My Satguru is formless, conscious, indestructible, beyond distinctions and illusions. Such is my Satguru. Within, that consciousness constantly and eternally plays on the throne. You are the eternal, unbroken throne, always continuously playing. Subscribe and subscribe and subscribe, subscribe... If you subscribe, please stay seated here. When their voice comes on the phone, you will all receive their message right here while seated. That we will hear and directly experience that Svāmījī is present, and Holī Gurujī, Param Śrī Mātvanan Jī is present, Khāṭū ke Pīr, Sab Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī is present. Today, we are receiving the grace-filled gaze of all, and as for sleep, we are always awake day and night. If we sleep tonight, Shailendra Ji has made it a memorable night. We are half grateful to him. So, friends, you be green—applaud openly and express the feelings of your heart. Subscribe, subscribe,... subscribe. Today, I heard Svāmījī’s blessings from Jodhpur Hospital: Gurudev, the mighty supporter of Hindu Dharma, the supreme, revered Sadgurudev. It is the fifth anniversary of Mahādava Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān. On this auspicious day, all of you have come from far and wide, leaving aside your extremely important tasks, to express your reverence towards your Gurujī. Despite enduring various kinds of difficulties, troubled in body, mind, and wealth, you have come here to be with Gurujī. You have come with unparalleled devotion, your faith is humble, and in such a moment, when we are receiving Gurujī’s prasād in the form of brother Shailendra Ji, whom we had never even imagined, that tonight would be such a sweet night, you have truly graced us here today, fulfilling every one of our imaginations. We have been made to experience the infinite, and we are all grateful to Shailendra Ji, who has given Guruji’s bhajans a unique style, a distinct sweetness. We are very, very thankful to you, sir. Thank you very much, Sadguru. Since the true meeting... Since I have truly met the Sadguru, all illusions have been dispelled. Since I have truly met the Sadguru, all illusions have been driven away. Since I have truly met the Satguru, no one has shown me any pilgrimage. Some used to explain to me the so-called religion, some showed me a pilgrimage, some explained the so-called religion, some a homa. Since I have truly met the Satguru, all illusions have been driven away. Since I truly met the Satguru, He showed me the key to the door, He revealed the key to me, the one who in the pot is the beloved of Nanda, the luminous one. The illusion has been dispelled; a flower does not wander in fragrance, just as the mind does not stray within such confusion. The fragrance does not open outwardly; it pervades within just like this. Now my doubts have been dispelled, then karma was removed. When the true Satguru was truly met, the veil was driven away. The pot is also the ocean; one form is the outer form. Many have taken various paths, but the illusion has been dispelled; since then, the true has been found. The curse has been driven away, the curse has been driven away, for you, for one last tune. I will pray that you all sing this tune along with me. Students, you will sing with us, you will definitely sing with us. Say yes loudly, stand up together, Sukam. Jī said a very beautiful thing: I am in Jodhpur, my body is in Jodhpur, but my mind is with all of you devotees. So if your Gurū can give you such a great blessing, then can we all, this evening, in this gathering... Nārāyaṇa Hariyoṁ ke Om Namo Nārāyaṇa. Now sing after me, sing: Om Namo Nārāyaṇa, Om Namo Nārāyaṇa. Seeing these little Bal Gopālas, don’t you feel like singing Om? Celebrate them: Om Namo Nārāyaṇa, Om Namo Nārāyaṇa. Subscribe, subscribe... Subscribe, subscribe, ... subscribe. I hope you all liked whatever little I could manage today, even if it was a bit broken or imperfect. I have not presented this as a formal program today. The faith that I held as my feeling, and in this expression of faith, the support Narendra Bhai gave me to bring me here, and the trust he placed in me—I have tried my utmost to fulfill that trust. If somewhere there has been any mistake or oversight, then... If mistakes have been made by me or some of my associates, please forgive us as if we were your younger brothers or little children. And if you feel good, then just as you are about to speak now, keep chanting the name of Gurujī, keep this resonance alive. For that, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Mādhavānanda Mahārāj. Mahēśvarānanda Sadgurudev also adds his heartfelt thanks, saying that to praise brother Śrī Śailendra Bhāratī is no exaggeration. The magic your sweet voice has spread and the joy it has given to all of us is beyond words to describe. I am highly thankful to you, Śailendra Ji, and you will be remembered. When it reaches the objects, it is moving towards the moon at the speed of a rocket, and when it dances in the courtyard of the moon’s palace, I remember how in childhood we used to float a small boat on water, and step by step, swimming along, it would go far away—just like that. It felt as if your voice, Om Namo Nārāyaṇ, was resonating, swinging gently, traveling from the subtle vibrations to the farthest horizons. Bhagavān and Mother Sarasvatī have bestowed upon you such a sweet voice. For this, I wish that they elevate you to the pinnacle of heights, along with your devotees and companions. You are repeatedly welcome in the Jāṛan courtyard on every occasion. Please come and fulfill us; your vision, your art—and we firmly believe—it will feel as if the chātak bird has found drops of water. We are highly thankful to you, sir. Thank you very much; I express my heartfelt gratitude to you, to the artists without whom this would not be possible. The program will not be interrupted, and with the cooperation of those with whom I am conducting the program—some very well-known artists from Rajasthan—Mr. Allā Rakhā will play the sitār. Please give him a warm round of applause for the excellent accompaniment he has provided on the sitār. Now that he has performed, do be sure to applaud heartily; so far, you have not clapped—clap with all your heart. Please give a round of applause for the artist once again, as he is eagerly rushing to come back for the second time. After that, Shri Bablu Ji on the keyboard—he is also a very well-known and high-caliber artist. A big round of applause for everyone. On the dholak, Shri Pawan Kumar, you too. They are very beautiful and excellent musicians, and on the tabla, special guests from Bombay who, not only in Hindustan but with top-tier artists from all over the world, you provide very good accompaniment. Such a unique scholar-artist... And may the day and night bring you royal fame and glory. On this auspicious occasion of our annual gathering, best wishes to all. So, on the nice side, let us cheer for Shri Rāje Hindrī with a big round of applause. Once again, you all standing here, please give them a hearty round of applause. For them, there is definitely applause. As for me, I only have the mixed sounds and my own feelings; I have no specific words or anything else. I just want to subscribe, please look. Now, once again, I will earnestly request you to listen to that bhajan of Gurujī. It means you want the goods, thank you. What do you all want to say? Do you want to listen or not? I will tell you one last thing about the foreign country vent viper form—understand it well—maybe 20 minutes, 15 minutes, or 5 minutes. In some good conference or seminar for Indian instruments, there is a very big problem—or you could say a plus point—that we have to tune them, and it takes a lot of time. Once, I was performing in New York; it took 10 minutes, and my time was over. But now he is ready, so please bear with us. Sab kuch deve tāṭā dīp dayā ab śarf yah hai ki āp logon ko tāliyāṁ barābar merī tarah bajānī paṛegī. Now we have to see whether they get tired or not... That you get tired now, let the honor begin today; now you get tired, that you get tired. The giver of everything, Dīp Dayāl, the giver of everything. The giver of everything, Dīp Dayāl, the poverty of countless lifetimes, the son gives great wealth, the poison gives everything. The giver of everything, Dīp Dayāl, gives knowledge, meditation, yoga, and skillful means. Jñāna gives dhyāna, yoga and methods give enjoyment, the Giver gives everything. The lamp of the king is also Hari; He sees and takes everything, gives happiness, and comes to all beings’ homes. Some divine benefactors give everything, some give abundantly, conquering the world; the merciful one grants the kingdom of countless Brahmāṇḍas, making one the lord of the universe in a moment, the sovereign of kings. No person can comprehend or uphold their own self without their grace. Everything was a lamp of pain, O devotees, understand this well—remember it. Music alone is not enough, brother. For this, a couplet comes to my mind, and before I share it with you all, I want to recite this couplet first: Brother, just call me with kindness whenever you wish, I am not a lost time that can return once gone. Whenever you wish, I will be present; whether Jaīho remembers it or not, you will remember it because I have spoken from this mind. And I said that whatever I say today from this mind, I am not the one speaking—it is Gurudev who will have it spoken. So this is his word, dedicated to him alone, and surrendered to him alone. Thank you, all yogīs. Victory to Sadgurudev! Greetings to all the brothers and sisters of Satsanātan Dharn Dipānan Mahārāj. We have now come from Ahmedabad, so first of all, we offer our salutations to all our brothers and sisters. The devotees said, "The Sadguru of the great king, the Sadguru who is our direct guide, is worshipped by the Sadguru; he is revered throughout the three worlds." Śiva, Virañchi, Śārada have come; the Guru’s body has been glorified. Śiva, Virañchi, Śārada have come; the Guru’s body has been glorified. The light above me has been extinguished; my feet have received healing, and all pain has gone away. All obstacles have gone away, victory is ours; indeed, the virtues of Gurujī are abundant. Oh, my Gurujī is truly beyond all qualities. My deity is Gurujī, my divine being. Oh dear, weigh only my faults; my virtues, Gurujī, are truly yours. Ganga struck Gurujī, O Mātī re, one Kedār Rīmā, O Bhāṇā, you yourself wept, you yourself cried greatly. O brave souls, strive to cross the ocean of existence. Everyone says, "Die, die," as if cursing me. Everyone says, "Die, die," as if my affliction will end by dying. But who is truly going to die now? The faithful are devoted, the devoted are devoted—then connect me with the tāmbūrā, so I may meet my Beloved. Mīrā says, "Come, my beloved, or else what else shall I do? Today I live, tomorrow I may die." I swear, if Yamarāja touches my dear Ghirī Dharlāl, I swear, if Yamarāja touches my dear Kāne Lāl, may he perish. Satcitānanda pervades all these groups; it is imperishable and unchanging. Satcitānanda pervades all these groups; it is imperishable and unchanging. You, Rāma, pervade everything; you pervade Īśvara, yet you are not separate from anyone. The bondage of different actions results in different experiences. He says one thing but does not do it; bound like a jester, the man goes astray. Yet bliss pervades all beings; it is distinct from the imperceptible. You, O Rāma, pervade all, not separate from anyone. In the dark kuṇḍa, the fire will arise, then it will spread its fruit to me twice over. Among the eighty-four lakh living beings, in whom that banyan tree grows, such is my generous giver of wealth and fortune. Such is my benefactor, O Amer, Gurudev is compassionate; in a moment He helps one cross over. Understanding this, one remembers Him and crosses the ocean of existence. Understanding this, one remembers Him and crosses the ocean of worldly existence. Without bhajan, however much a person attains, without bhajan, however many days pass, it is all a direct obstruction. The true Paramātmā you behold with pure compassion. The word is the word, an exquisite nectar, a continuous flow of sound. Purī Jī, Tukā Dev, Purī Jī, your dīdār is like the rising sun. Tell everything straightforwardly, tell everything straightforwardly. Swāmī Dīp Dās is yours, Swāmī Dīp Dās is yours. Swāmī Bhadās, you are the true guru. At the time of the birth of Bhagavān, the king of the universe, the most compassionate one emerges from Kailāsa. To have the darśana of the firm lord Bholenāth Bhagavān, they proceed to Gokula, and Baba Ji, who has arrived in Gokula in his own guise, then what does Sodā Maiyā say—there is no giver like Śiva, the remover of calamities, yes, my eyes are filled. Śiva ji is the protector of the sacred threads, Śiva Nandī’s glory is pure; the innocent one’s nose, the innocent one’s nose also moves, moves like the queen of the bees. Increase the essence, increase the essence of fasting; increase the essence, then listen, O yogis, my child has frightened me—do not forget. The moon has risen in the world, illuminating everything around. The moonlight has spread over the children, casting its gentle shadow. This shadow grants the vision of one’s own beloved. I have come to offer the vision of my beloved. Alabhram Parameśvar knows you all. The servant Balhārī Kanayo lives for ages and ages; then, when given the strength, he weeps. In this bhajan, one finds union with the Divine. So, if the body is like a fragile vessel, then there is no hope beyond death. The month of service, the spring of youth, the hope. How long, Kabīrā, will you remain half-cooked, O brother? Live fully in this world, like the sādhus do. Until when, Kabīr, will the fetters bind you, while you keep burning in the fire again and again? Part 2: The Guru’s Descent and the Disciple’s Ascent O Dev Joshi, you say you are no longer among the Pāṇḍavas. O Dev Joshi, you say you are no longer among the Pāṇḍavas. A harsh era will come; even the Brahmins will be killed. Strangers will beg and eat alms. Why should the washerman give away the cow just because of some disturbance caused by the villagers? These days, the youth of the Pāṇḍavas are no longer here; a harsh era will come, where the wind will blow fiercely from the mouth, and enmity will arise in the air. When the sādhalī (disciple) goes out, the world will test him; the sādhalī will speak with a pure mouth and will appear before the men. Having been born as a son, now the father comes; this son born in the world will bring happiness. If good is to be attained, then listen carefully to these words of encouragement and the teachings of the Yajña. These divine energies, O Yogi, will now be witnessed among us, arriving from Ahmedabad. Pandiyā Sāhab spoke in a very refined language that completely fragrant the mind, and in this āśrama, he set four lamps. A very hearty round of applause for Shiv Pandiyā Sāhab! A strong round of applause! Chabloshanātan dharma is now among us. Mā Osyā has come, and Bāī Muktā Jī is also here among us. She is standing and will sing two bhajans with loud applause—Shvāgar Bāī, Mukta Jī, O Shyā Mātā Jī. Loud applause. Greetings, welcome, namaste, and salutations at the feet of the Guru. My respects to all the revered Gurujans seated on the stage. And my dear listeners, Hari Om Hari Om... I have been instructed to say a few words about the harmony between guru and disciple, and today I cannot postpone it. My guru, Tuliya Doctor Sāhab Śrī Hanwān Singh Rājprohit, with whom I met during the medical camp—you run the medical camp, and I and my... I met them at Bend Marwar Jankshan. At that time, I was deeply depressed, and in my view, this fresh example of the relationship between guru and disciple will serve as an ideal for you: if a guru decides to turn a stone into a diamond, then he does so for both the deserving and the truly deserving. The guru does not see whether one is capable or incapable. If the guru is determined and fulfills their purpose, then to transform a stone like me into a diamond, they have chosen this very platform today, for which I express my heartfelt gratitude. And another example is the gurujī of your very own āśrama. It is said that for a guru to grant the highest place to any devotee, the guru must descend the steps. Wherever the guru has descended the steps and held the disciple’s finger to elevate them to the supreme position, disciples like Swāmījī Vivekānanda and Tānsen have emerged there. Only when the guru descends does the disciple come to know the guru’s place; then the disciple attains the highest position. And when the disciple attains the highest position, that becomes the greatest guru dakṣiṇā for the guru. To continue this chain, I, like a mere stone... I will see, you all will have to endure because I am made a recipient of Śrī Guru’s grace. However I am, you all will have to endure. Do not go away, O heart, the beloved has passed by once, O beloved, you have passed by once. Even once, if you know the fear related to Śani, you will understand it well. Even I, once, was afraid of the dense clouds and the grain-bearing earth. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Dela for so much time. Thank you very much. Gṛdārī Siṅgī Punāḍiyā. Halo Halo... The sacred verses of Bhole Śhyavar and Bhagavān Rāma Chanda, as narrated by Garudev. Innocent Dibanāyan Mahārāj’s, innocent Mādhraṇandī Mahārāj’s, innocent Meśvānandī Mahārāj’s, Gurudev, moving forward with all of you devotees, moving forward together, without the Guru there is no knowledge, and the precious merchant uncle brought valuable goods for the pearl core offering—this is the opportunity, oh dear brother, do not miss it. Oh, meeting once, meeting twice, on the twelfth day, at the auspicious moment, O brother, the twelfth night was auspicious, the Satguru came without fail, the knower of knowledge and virtues, brought the dust of knowledge and virtues, brought diamonds, brought priceless gems, brought priceless horses, the Satguru came without fail. The awakened sage is never troubled; the awakened sage’s turban spreads across time. The eight directions resonate with the call of sadness, the lamp is lit, the fire burns; the awakening of the dawn, the company of the wise, the company of the wise. The saints respond to the call. The eight directions are filled with the sound of the flute; the eight directions are filled with the sound of the flute. O Lord, it is only Your melody that has come, without any other accompaniment. Namo namo Bhagavān namo namo... You have brought a very beautiful bhajan; let it resonate far and wide. Do not create divisions; our gathering is small but united. Now, Gurudev, please bless us with a few words. If not, perhaps another artist from the village can come forward. The wealth is coming to be earned, so come, come quickly. They are coming up with grace. You are earning wealth quickly and earn great wealth. The Sadguru is among you, earning with you, and He will give His discourse. Please give the microphone there, the microphone, please give the microphone there, the microphone, please give the microphone there, the microphone... That... Do it, do it,... do it... do it, do it, do it, do it... Do it, do it,... do it... do it. Honor the Gurujī, honor the Gurujī. Now, in our country, the original teachings of Śaṅkara and Yama are not fully known to everyone. Mother Earth, Mother Nation, Mother Jandī, Mother Cow, Mother Gaṅgā, Mother Gītā—these five mothers. When a human being is born, he has to repay the debts of these five. Have you repaid even one of these debts? Is that why you... From twelve years continuously up to eighteen years, there is the influence of Vitra and Śakkā. Then, after seventeen years, it attains dominance and becomes the lord for twenty-five years. It becomes your ally. And after twenty-five years, it is called Andhrāl, so it takes on full responsibility, yes yes... As Jaśrak said, today you are all messengers, but what you need is dīpadr̥ṣṭi, like Mahēśvarānana Jī, you need a warrior; Vimiśan also used to shout every day. Alman Jī, I will take him, and yet they started to wither. Bābu Jī, how does it feel? What are you withering for? Inside this city of Rāvaṇa, how do I feel? He said, "I do not want to argue; I want to ask how you conduct yourself in this city." He replied, "Bagjī, it is very difficult and painful to live here among the people. Life is hard; it is not possible to live here in any way." I said, "You cannot understand my intention at all. Thank you very much..." I am sorrowful; there is no one in the world as sorrowful as I am. But if I find a friend like Halman, then he will change my steadfastness. Vīviśan, no one in the world has a gift like yours, and the world does not have a great soul like you. So the first question was asked to Vīviśan, to Vīviśan, to tell us, Vīviśan. Yes, do the teeth fall or does the jīva fall? It is said that the teeth fall, the jīva does not fall. That is, the teeth are the demons, the teeth are the yoni of the night, the nocturnal beings are the teeth. Desire, anger, people, all these are done by the teeth. It is said, who gets the rasa? It is said, the jīva gets it. Tell me, the teeth can only chew but cannot get the rasa. One could take it, and the third said that if a blow is struck, who will it affect? It affects no one. You may imagine someone’s mother and if a slap is struck in front, what falls? The body falls. If the body falls, what about the soul? If you also want to experiment, then do so with the story. This is what is called saying it; the truth will be revealed. Now, the particular condition that is dreadful... It seemed painful, it appeared to be suffering, but due to the grace of Sadguru, even that painful state, that painful circumstance, became blissful. In the same way, in life, some great welfare, in the inner self, in Rāma, in desires, in greatness, in the world, in places, in others, goodness... When one moves away from mental tension and enters a state of peace within, then they sing of going to the saintly gathering. The honor and respect for every step taken is like a crore of eagles. In this way, what do we need? What do we need? We need peace. Where should peace be? The name of the wife should be peace, absolutely. Is there a razor or not, every morning going to the Bhagavat’s disguise, it is said near the wife, when the wife praises, one should understand that today the rooster is going to be well slaughtered, the goat... You want a sari, a blouse, lipstick, powder—the list goes on and on. From the first to the last, she doesn’t get it. Up to the eighth, her husband becomes like God to her. Because it’s payday, you see. So, from our perspective, we are the very, very sandalicious; our ideology and philosophy cannot be compromised. To transcend the human night, we must ground ourselves in our humanity. You must look within your heart; the valuations in your peace are precious. Unless and until you have peace in your heart, you cannot rise above your limitations. Your violations cannot be overcome otherwise. This is the teaching of Śaṅkarācārya’s tradition that we follow. Śaṅkarācārya had told us to have a steady disposition, not to be restless; be composed, be serious. One who can be serious can attain the capacity to think deeply. If you become serious, your mind will function very well and your prāṇāyāma will improve. The second was niśchalaṃ yoga-nimnaḥ, that your sleep should be only three... Do you need bells? Until twelve o’clock, I will create a fortress right in front of you. There used to be a piece of copper in the window opposite me. Tell me, your kind of dramas would go on until two o’clock, then after two, I sleep, and in the morning I snore loudly, not letting the neighbors sleep either. That he does not become a critic, and the one who criticizes more... You may not become worthy, but you will become vessels of bhāva, and bhāva itself is the love of the world. One who awakens bhāva becomes capable of the highest expression of love. The pinnacle of love is through bhāva. Now, what does bhāva require? Separation and pain, yes. If the feeling of belonging does not awaken for anyone else, then separation cannot happen. Yes, but if the wife runs away, there is great separation. Why, brother, is there separation from the wife? Why is there no separation from the father? But in our home today, everyone subscribes to it, now whose example is in Rozbāb? Burnt, burnt... It is possible to subscribe, that is dharma, it is good, so it is dharma. If it is dharma, then it is dharma. If your dharma is to curse, then do it; your dharma is to exercise discernment, then do it. Your dharma is to uphold—whatever you uphold, at whatever moment you uphold it, in whatever time you uphold it, in whatever state you uphold it—The dharma is that which you embrace in the given circumstance, therefore you... One who does not have śraddhā in devotion is like an animal. I do not know how much time there is. That singer, even though an artist, is sitting idle. To do something, I have to give my best like Kapil Dev in a night watch. It should be like that—everyone should subscribe immediately. How many people will subscribe? Baba, there are two—one is Mardra, two... To subscribe, to subscribe... Today you must decide whether I will follow this with the firmness that I have resolved upon. What must be firmly held onto is the mind’s resolve. In renunciation, it is this very resolve of the mind that I will transform. The world’s sins depart through the eyes and the ears. The eyes see and find many things pleasing. These people, taking the ruler, go into the world; the ruler is not seen. If even a little of one’s essence is given away, it affects the mind and disturbs the sleep of the intellect, ultimately destroying the body. That is why, in today’s age, a 15-year-old child appears like a 60-year-old elder, while our 70-year-old elders still seem to possess the vigor of 25-year-old youths. Therefore, when Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa were on the battlefield, a fight broke out between father and son, brother and brother... There was a conflict going on between the guru and the disciple, a conflict was going on for the disciple on the sacred land of Raghun, where the great battle... You are subscribing to do this, and friends, you can subscribe as well. This country belongs to ārogya, this country belongs to yoga, this country belongs to prāṇa, this country belongs to prāṇa vāyu. It is of apāna vāyu, or in every breath, in every pore, there is faith and spiritual vitality; that is why Arjuna listened to the Gītā and Kṛṣṇa recited the Gītā, because they used to go to the gymnasium. Arjuna did not go to the cinema hall, Krishna Rajmandi, because they exercised, practiced yoga, and worked out. One who exercises, practices yoga, their body attains a state of prajñā, the state of health becomes abundant, in such people, peace arises, silence arises, integrity arises, pervasiveness arises, divinity arises—detachment arises from detachment, from detachment comes the speaker, from the speaker comes language, from language comes abundance, from abundance comes Paramātmā, the supreme consciousness, supreme bliss, Mahāprabhujī, and then... Union with Bhagavān is through words, words lead to language, language to sentences, sentences to meanings, and meanings to this state. Therefore, satsaṅga is necessary. Now, to reach this state, satsaṅga is essential; to reach the state of Paramātmā, satsaṅga is necessary, my brother. That is why those who are awake... Here, my sons are all before me. What will happen to the entire land of corpses? On heaps of corpses, bhajans are being sung. While bhajans are being sung, music is playing here, and there music is playing differently. I asked Bābā Jī, which music is playing? The disco is playing; you should subscribe, right? You should definitely subscribe, shouldn’t you? Why then does this color still become the same and not turn red? Because within us there is unity of meaning. That blood itself tells us that I am unity in diversity, and you, despite being diverse, are not one. What is your fault? The winds are different; I eat red. I eat rice, I eat roti, I eat vegetables, I do everything—there are different colors, different variations, different spices, countless varieties, all different, different, different... Now comes fear in the consciousness, yet remaining in the body, even the red color we are unable to perceive clearly. This is not our misfortune; it is the truth. So take the red color and dry it out. Until the color opens and the blood flows, then you will... There will be a discourse on who you are, so you will have to search for yourself. There was a storyteller who narrated very good stories; it had become a habit for him. Storytelling becomes a habit. When we conduct Bhagavat kathā, we also say, "Go and see the kathā." If you are drawn to our discourse, then Mahātmajī also delivered very good discourses. And after narrating the story, he asked how the story was. If you ask the world, please sound making—then in that enlightenment, he said, "Bāb Jī, your story is very good." But he said, "But what is it?" He said, "There was a boy." He said, "Bāb Jī, you tell very good stories." But when Bāb Jī gives a discourse, he spits on the scripture, which is not appropriate. Bāb Jī should not be scolded. We envision Hindustān as a nation free from addictions. Our country’s youth consume brown sugar. When you consume Dilbāg, I am a doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, and I... It has been proven to you that the gur you consume contains lizard powder. If I cannot prove this, I will give up wearing saffron robes. And you all are eating lizard every day. That is why Śaṅkarācārya said that my country should be free from addictions, and the Hindu nation should be free from addictions. That storyteller was saying that everyone eats something. After eating that, the story goes... Krishna Bhagavān is very good, Krishna Bhagavān is very good, and then spit would fall from the mouth. One boy said, "Bāb Jī does everything correctly, but after eating that, he spits on the book, which does not feel right." He said, "This is a very bad condition, their m..." Chanting Hari Bhajaman Nārāyaṇa Nārāyaṇa Hari Nārāyaṇa Nārāyaṇa in a rhythmic tune, it is said that when one narrates the story of Bhagavān, both the storyteller and Bhagavān become a direct experience. The mouth holds the presence of Sarasvatī, and in that mouth flows the influence of the Gaṅgā. And this Gaṅgā flows through this scripture... The people of Pāli, there was also a boy from Pāli, the story... After the completion, Bāb Jī was seated there, and the boy who had reached that place said, "Bāb Jī, I have never seen a storyteller like you anywhere in the world. You are truly honorable. People gather in crowds around you." Bāb Jī replied, "Crowds come to me even in the early morning." The boy said... Everyone will have morning the next day. The child went to the storyteller and brought a packet, saying, "Bābājī, I have brought prasāda for you. Please accept the prasāda." Now, the storyteller is a saint, and he says, "If I do not accept the prasāda, then..." He said, "Don’t be insulted at all, son, I will eat the prasāda." He opened the prasāda and ate it. After eating the prasāda, the boy, who was very sharp, said, "Bābā Jī, at least drink some water too." Then he drank the water. He said, "Son, now tell me, whose prasāda was this?" The boy said, "Bābā Jī, tell me the truth, don’t lie." He replied, "Son, you..." It seems to me, Chandra, that you should tell the truth, not a lie. Baba Jī said, "Tell the truth." Then he asked, "Son, tell the truth." He said, "Tell the truth, Baba Jī, I am very poor and I do not have a single penny. I go to work in the morning and earn twenty rupees, and in the evening, those twenty rupees are all gone." It has been seven years since my father passed away, and my bones have been left to decay at Haridwār. I have no existence; I am a poor man and cannot go to Haridwār. But that Gaṅgā manifested in your mouth—my father’s bones manifested in your mouth. Sometimes, brother, one has to eat bones in the mouth of the Gaṅgā. It happens because there is a reason in untruth; sometimes a single word can have such a meaning. He said, "He ran with his father’s bones in his mouth," and the father had to endure it because some river had emerged. Now if he says, "I eat jaggery," what fault can the father find? And if he does not eat the prasāda, what fault can the father find? Sound is a tendency; therefore, in the transmission of this nature and tendency, the word is yours. And the words you take—Śīman Nārāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa, Hare, Hare, Bhajman Nārāyaṇa, Hare, Hare, Śīman Nārāyaṇa—these are words. Only these words can speak in your heart. The mind of the stages you can know—let the word dwell only in your body and mind, but let it be a word that is positive, decisive, creative, and fills you with courage. When we proceed, the full explanation will be given on how fear is overcome and how māyā is transcended. The nocturnal māyā is precisely this: that throughout Brahmāṇḍa, we do not recognize this yogic power. And the one who does recognize the yogic power—it’s like having a television at home but not turning it on, or having a refrigerator at home but not using it. Do not drink water; you may have a sofa at home, but do not sit on it. Only then will you be truly strong. But I am a beggar—how can I be strong? It is because of natural ease that Tulsī Rājī said: simple, natural, saintly nature, austerity, oil, and the twenty-two letters—these are the means to attain the village of Kratank, the one true path. Rāma can protect the entire world; now I have faith. Without Hanumant, one does not receive Hari’s grace, O saints. Just keep this in mind: on whichever day, at whichever moment, at whichever time, in whichever śaṇa, a single word, a single darśana, a single wish, a single imagination, a single direct experience, a divine breeze of the saints will come to you—whether it is seeing with your own eyes, continuously looking at you, prostrating, or being near Varadasta—we will reach there. Tomorrow is my discourse. Part 3: A Gathering of Hearts We will meet again tomorrow. Those devoted souls sitting in the satsaṅkriyā must also be thinking that Bābā Jī is sitting in the middle, the sacred fire is burning well, and in between, the Indian news comes on—it feels very disturbing, does it not? The fire is burning well, and then suddenly some advertisement appears in between, which I also want. Since I have come in like an advertisement in between, Bābā Jī’s advice is absolutely for you all, and for those who have awakened from their slumber after hearing me. They gave the topic, so I will complete it in a minute. First, I will sing a little bhajan; I will say it myself. I am with you, I am in your presence, my friend, my Gurudev. I am the Mahāmantrī of the akhāṛā, and the Mahārājya of that akhāṛā is also the protector of the sun. We manage the akhāṛās of the entire world; there are 870 million sādhus under our akhāṛā. The Mahāmantrī of the akhāṛā is that Mahārājya of ours. Our Rajasthan region is well protected; even our Mahārāj is a minister. We, the people of the akhāṛā, are sādhus, the ācāryas of Śaṅkarācārya Amṛta. You all understand that this country lacks direction. It is the work of the saints; then there must be those who become Vasiṣṭha and Viśvāmitra. Only then will there be Rāma Rājya in this country. The idea first arose that Rāma could establish a good kingdom, and a kingdom could never have been established if Vasiṣṭha had not been there. Rāma could never have imagined a good Rāmarājya without Vasiṣṭha. But Vasiṣṭha taught the art of governance, and Viśvāmitra provided the knowledge of weapons. If there were no great ṛṣis near Śrī Kṛṣṇa to establish the rule of Rāma, then Śrī Kṛṣṇa could never have become the good king of Mathurā and Dvārakā. In this country, as long as there is the support of saints, whoever the saint intervenes with, that is why you should make a guru. Tomorrow my subject is exactly that: the guru. How the disciple tradition was established, where it originated from, why Śaṅkarācārya founded it, and the significance of the guru will be presented before you tomorrow. I bow to Mother Bhāratī; I offer my salutations at the feet of Mother Bhāratī. I bow to my master, to Mahīśvarānaṅjī. Even in their absence today, I pray to Bhagavān for them. May they live long; may their lifespan be extended. Right now, they are very much needed. They are the first saint who has gone across the ocean to spread the thoughts of this country. Therefore, their living is very essential, from Vasantānandjī. Even after ten springs, Mahēśvarānandjī had to give his blood, all the drops of our blood had to be given to him. We had a conversation yesterday; he will come among us tomorrow as well. We will have darśan of him tomorrow. You all also join me in shouting loudly—may you have as much strength as you have heard. Did it come or not? Tell me with a cheer! Not even one neighbor of Bhārat Mātā has awakened. What power is needed to compel them to awaken? Speak with such power: Bhārat! Bhārat... Mother, I just want to tell you that you are no less than men. Come, raise your hand—you are our authority. You have raised Shivājī. You are like a brother-in-law. You have let go of the brother-in-law, and that is why they have stopped shaving their mustaches. Is there anyone in your house with a shaved mustache? If it exists, then destroy it; we are Śaṅkarācāryas, so we have to remove it—either keep the five or remove the five. But it was the identity of the country that when you died, the child would perform tarpaṇa for the mustache, for the hair. This was in 2008. You are like brothers-in-law, folding your hands high, you have been told, told in the name of Bhārat Mātā, if you do not speak, our mother will speak alone, loudly, Namapārvatī Pade, Har, Har. That is why the country has fallen into ruin, mother, because you have stopped shouting the slogan, and they have... You will have to take note, you will have to raise the sword; only then will Virasāvar be born again in this country. The people will recognize Tilak again, then Mahēśvara Ānanda will be born, then Vasant Ānanda will be born, then Mālpurī will be born, then Bhāīpurī will be born among us. What is happening to the country pains me to see. Sometimes, seeing children makes one feel like vomiting, as if one has seen something that should not be seen early in the morning. It feels like the Brahmin tilaka looks good, the dhoti looks good, and the Brahmin is called so because of the name, lineage, and birth from the first man. It is said that a brāhmaṇa should have a tilaka, should perform the jñānavidhāraṇa, and should be born in a dhoti. When one sees him early in the morning, it is said that the sight of a brāhmaṇa is like the sight of Brahmaloka or a cow. This is considered beneficial and good. The paṇḍitas, when asked to summarize, say it is for the benefit and good of the cow and the brāhmaṇa. Brahman is good, namastu. But if those people, wearing jeans and pants, turn towards me and style themselves, what should be done with them? They have no tilaka at all. Just like yesterday, a scholar, a true scholar, a Brahman stood before us and said to the Rajput... His Rājput body should be tall and strong like an elephant, and when he walked, the earth beneath him would tremble and resound. When the Rājput came, the earth itself seemed to become firm and steadfast. It felt as if the Thākur was embodying the very nature of his caste. Do not let go; therefore, like an elephant moving forward, the brave warrior holds the ground firmly, shaking the earth, with enemies all around, their arms and weapons ready. Seeing the strength and arms of the enemy, the one facing him then understands the importance. Śatrapati Śivājī once, in a single night, captured the fort of Sonarī alone. He was looting here one night, and the next night because... As he journeyed on, like an elephant moving from one place to another, one night here, the next night there, Gajagāma would arrive. When he spoke, it was with the roar of battle, the roar of the Rajputs. The power and vigor of strength manifested as a warrior on the battlefield, becoming a battle-hardened hero, lying on the bed of wars. When the warrior’s lament for Mahābhūma, the songs and epics of valor, were being recited, the nation was in a state of turmoil; at that time, the nation was practicing samāyama, it was reflecting, it was not that the nation was forgiving, the nation was not forgiving, therefore it did not forgive. The nation that conquers is us; the one who conquers our enemies is the human being. The one who conquers and controls the indriyas is the human, and the one who controls the indriyas by his own will is the supreme being. You all are to reach the manifestation of the supreme consciousness. Like Manojava, swift as an arrow, conquering the mind, superior among the wise, born of the wind element, chief among the senses, with the head held high, you must take refuge. Then you will have to return to that same arena, play in its gift again, play kabaddi again, and you will have to increase your strength, enhance your ojas. You will have to increase the light, you will have to increase the mantras, you will have to acquire powers, you will have to restart the gurukula, and in the gurukula, your children will have to be taught again. But nowadays, they say, "No, no, don’t go to Bābā Jī," and if someone becomes Bābā Jī, then Bābā Jī is insulted. What do they say about the mode? Paraśurāma had sent someone there; Rāma had come to take Viśvāmitra, but Daśaratha had to send him because he was not willing to come. Daśaratha said, "I will not send him." "How will you not send him? You must fulfill this tradition," Viśvāmitra said. When Daśaratha Jī said no, Parabho, even if you want wealth, then Daśaratha could not say, "My father, how can you take my children away?" Today, what can I say about your children? No, Bābājī, take them away, take them to the police station, file a case, charge them under Section 110, charge them under Section 252... I will offer my praṇāma, I will teach you how to offer praṇāma, and by giving praṇāma, praṇāma māmya haṁ, this praṇāma prāṇāya mapāyaṁcha, even by taking its prāṇa, the nation was not lost, the welfare of the world came, the leader of the people came, the prestige of the people came, for the protection of the people, for the protection of the nation, to Rāma. It must be done. When Viśvāmitra gave the command, Daśaratha had already bowed his head; the ego was gone. What can I do now? This is the knowledge of the Lord. Do whatever you deem appropriate, O Lord. And then he asked, "Tell me, which boy among you is ready to come with me?" One man raised his hand. Raise it higher, child, if you want—rotten bananas, rotten bananas won’t do for Bhagavān. Today, raw oil, good bananas are very rare, very difficult. There’s none in Navan. Big rings too, come on, I’ll make do with this, brother. Without the mustache, namo nāre, namo nāre,... namo nāre... Namo nā... Your share has been fulfilled. For those who have come to satsaṅga, Gurudev has said: Gurudev is the deity of the three worlds. The Satguru is not a mere giver. The entire world is a beggar. Whether king or pauper, those who wish to receive dīkṣā must be ready at that level. Never be negligent. Those who are negligent should become gurumukhī, and those who have the lifespan given by Bāvajī, if they want to enter the path, should first prepare themselves in some way. You should prepare yourself in the tube, then Bāvajī will come, Bāvajī will come to the door. Do it, do it,... do it... do it. The ocean cannot be measured, and this opportunity cannot be missed; the chance for satsaṅga today will not come again tomorrow. Later, when it chases you on this human earth, it will give everything. If silence comes within me, what should I do? I must engage in satsaṅga; it is the highest of all. Satsaṅga is the boat that ferries us across; sitting with the name of Rāma is the boatman. If you go to satsaṅga, it will liberate you from the ocean of worldly existence. In this mind, life awakens, virtue awakens, and prosperity awakens. Today is satsaṅga, but that true satsaṅga does not create progress or the saintly soul. Then a great master said, "I go and eat dirt, but my Guruvāṣṇār..." I eat the dirt, I bathe in it, but I do not seek shelter from my mother; I go to eat the dirt somewhere, and in this devotion, O Mother, the story and kīrtana continue. You have witnessed the vision of the Puruṣas, and the mind has also experienced the darśana. In Bhaikuṭ Purī, during the occasion of Bāvjīre, you spoke of the blissful darśana. Again, at the Burblā fair, the gathering was held, and finally, the sheep were taken in. After leaving everything behind, one begins to act. Then, at the opportunity of Pin Bābājī, your own path was somewhere spoken of. You all say, “O devotees, surrender yourselves.” Ari śaraṇam, ari śaraṇam, today unite all beings; O Pūrṇa Paramātmā, all beings have the right to speak. Great is the benefit in this play, meeting the Pūrṇa Paramātmā. Sanctify the jīvātmā, end all sins, purify the soul, illuminate the soul, especially make it dharmātmā. We are all Your ātmā. How did you come to the satsaṅga, dear mothers? Then by the grace of the Mother, you have crossed the ocean of worldly existence, and now you have given your rent. Bhagavān fulfills everything in Vaikuṇṭha. Now, I will bow a little; through meditation, through the worship of the sacred form of the Guru, through the Guru’s feet, through the mantra of the Guru, through the Guru’s grace, may you be protected. The true Guru humbly requests, the true Guru humbly requests: Keep both matters in mind—if the soul remains, then keep modesty; keep a life of modesty, a life free from despair. O Lord, You are the mother, You are the father, You are the friend, the wise companion; You are knowledge, You are wealth, O Lord; You are everything, O Bhagavān. The venerable sages and ascetics speak, the incarnations of the sages, the leaders of the gaṇas, Gurudev, I bow to you again and again. I bow to Rām Garudev. The servant of these three times is here to remove obstacles and bring auspiciousness. So, Rām Lāsānanda, today my assembly is silent in farewell; what has love bestowed? True speech, silence, and love—what remedy have you given? You have brought me to your side, tell me, you have brought me to your side. True speech, silence, and love—what remedy have you given? What remedy have you given to the tongue? The mind is restless and distracted. True knowledge has come and united me with you. Beloved, give me love, O Deva, give me love. You have made me drink from the cup of karma, you have made me suffer from karma. Beloved, the pain does not burn the heart; water and poison do not burn me. Silence is the path to immortality, the path to immortality is adorned with silence; through silence, love blossoms, through silence, the divine love of the karmic doer unfolds. This humble child has brought the Satguru, this humble child has brought the Satguru. I have heard the wisdom of the Gītā, the knowledge, the sūtra of wisdom, and the love of my Guru has completely enveloped me. The stubborn lover struck the Guru, yet he remained completely calm. When the battle began, he rose without hesitation. O compassionate Lord, please forgive and conceal this. O compassionate Lord, please forgive and conceal this. The beloved made the mind drink this; when the battle began, he rose without hesitation. The relatives and enemies perish together, O Lord; the relatives and enemies perish together—this is false. O King, you have sung the glory of silence, O King, you have sung the glory of silence. O Adam, the protector of the world, Gurudev, the emperor, the conqueror, the compassionate one, the beloved of all, my refuge. Do it, do it,... do it... do it. Today, O devotees, do not sleep for the sake of the game; do not let your sleep take over. Even today, if your sleep is disturbed, your life will not be wasted in vain. Let your sleep be for your own self, let your actions be for your own self, let your duties be for your own self, and keep your responsibilities for your own self. Seek the vision of the Guru, seek the vision of the Guru, and from that... Now settle down, O mind, be silent; be silent, O mind of the Guru. Tie the thread, brother, tie it—tie it, O dear friend, tie it for the true Guru. Tie this strong thread for the brave one; tie the thread of love’s circle, become the circle of love. The circle, the circle, O beloved, row that boat; tie this strong thread for the brave one. Remember and strike the drum of the world. Karikar bhāī karikar jore tāgatī hai tumtā baṛī hai tāgatī hai tumtā baṛī hai. The world is a battlefield, this world is a battlefield, O brave one, go and conquer it, my brother. O compassionate one, my life is but a drop, my days are without truth, O merciful one. In the heart of the fearless, the truth shines forth; in the fearless mind, our strength blossoms. The moment of sāyav vijosā has arrived, and how much joy it has brought to us! Your feelings have come, and to receive those feelings, you must go to your village. While going to the village, keep your Gurumārāj in your meditation. Your feelings have come, and to receive those feelings, keep your Gurumārāj in your meditation. You all are Sai Ho Ko Bho, Sai Das Ko Bho, Sai Pasād Ko Bho, and the true word of Saccang, you must cherish it, O King, at the time of awakening, and also ahead. The saintly soul is calling out, O Darvinda, come today, O king. Those who have such suffering are the ones indeed. Do it, do it,... do it... do it. Say, Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān kī jai ho, jai ho,... jai ho... jai ho, jai. Hail to the bliss of today, hail to the great Lord of God, the most venerable Bhagavān Dīpa Nārāyaṇa, revered among all saints, the supreme Paramātmā, the highest Puruṣottama Svāmī, the venerable Dīpa Dayā Sadguru Svāmī Mādhavān Jī. When there is joy, then the Lord’s gaze is fixed upon us. The name is the guru of knowledge, the name is the guru of knowledge, and the disciple... Only the one who learns and understands the limits of knowledge is a true disciple; no one else is. The body is adorned simply, draped plainly; the mind is devoted wholeheartedly. Kabīr, Kabīr, O Lord, fear not the world, for all are servants of the Divine. Devotion to Guru Kabīr is the true refuge; liberation is attained there. I am a sinful soul—have mercy and grant your grace, O Giver. Please record my presence. Please spare me, my Sadgurū, the Giver; grant me the immortal vision. Without You, I see no other. So I say, bring Yourself near. Sadgurū, mark my presence. I am a sinful soul, wandering aimlessly; bestow Your mercy and grace. Giver, mark my presence. Then He said, in the state of intoxication, wander and wander again. Now improve your birth through this test, pass it at last. Do not let ego and vices come near. Today, grant the joy of spiritual practice. O Guru Mārāj, please record my presence. Awake from disconnection, for I am a sinful soul; bestow your mercy and charity. O utterly sinful soul, may all your virtues blossom. The world is full of deceit, but it does not matter; O generous Giver, please record my attendance. O restless sinful beings, have mercy and grant your gift; please record my attendance. O Sadguru, Giver, Madam Murārī, have mercy on all. The servant sings in surrender, O Śākar, grant the light that is sought. O Guru Mārāj, please record my attendance. O restless sinful beings, have mercy and grant your gift; O Giver, please record my attendance. Then the mind accepts Rāma as true; it is not false, indeed. Those who have embraced peace have crossed beyond this world, truly crossed beyond. Meeting the unborn in the abode, not harmed by the butcher, they attained liberation through the name of Gopāl, attained, attained... attained. When the brothers of the diamond cried out, "Brother, brother," I said, "I have earned this much." Oh, Śānt Sagrām Haṭamāī, the diamond has come—āyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāyāy
