My Witness Is A Banyan Tree

A satsang gathering celebrating Guru Purnima with personal reflections and teachings.

"For me, this satsaṅg is a very big, big blessing... because in a few days it is the actual Guru Pūrṇimā day."

"The best day for all of us was the day when our ātmā came back to the Guru again in this life."

Several disciples and Swami Maheshwarananda speak at a satsang in Europe, reflecting on the meaning of Guru Purnima. They share personal stories of recognizing their Guru, describe the day as one for spiritual accounting and renewal, and emphasize the importance of the living Guru and the protective lineage of the Guru Parampara. Swamiji concludes by recounting the spiritual origins of their lineage in the Himalayas.

Om Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Hari Om, beloved Guru Dev. Hari Om, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Vivek Purī Jī. Hari Om, beloved Guru Dev. Hari Om, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Vivek Purī Jī, all my orange sisters and brother Karma Sannyāsī, and of course all of you, brothers and sisters. I am very happy that tonight, in this satsaṅg, I can be with you, with us, all together here. For me, this satsaṅg is a very big, big blessing, as it is for all of us, because in a few days it is the actual Guru Pūrṇimā day. I don't know about other satsaṅgs, but this morning, after a few days, I opened the internet and heard that Swāmījī said this evening is the Guru Pūrṇimā satsaṅg here in Europe. It meant that within an hour, all my work was finished. We found a driver—also very important—and came directly to satsaṅg. So what is Guru Pūrṇimā? Guru Pūrṇimā is one of the few days in the year for us when, if possible, we can be with our living spiritual master in real contact. Mi a Gurupūrṇimā számunkra? A Gurupūrṇimā az önátadás. Also alive. Amikor élőben együtt lehetünk a Mesterünkkel. This is the day of Gurudev. Ez Gurudev napja. For me personally, this is one of the most important days, because to be in physical, personal contact with Gurudev means to be pure, to be without any duty, to be here and just be here. It is a very short time without duties. For me, it means to be here and not think of the other worldly things which happen daily. For all of us, it means to find our Self. This, I think, is one of the most important pieces of knowledge which Gurudev is bringing and sharing on this planet. To have knowledge about the Self, about Pūrṇa, about purity, and about Ātmā. For this, we are all here, and we are the blessed ones. So, short and sweet, as Swāmījī normally says. Thank you, Gurudev, that we can be your disciples, however we are. Briefly and kindly, as Swāmījī used to say, we are happy that we are your disciples, Swāmījī, and we can be here. Hari Om. As Sādhvī Sāvitrī said, we are all glad to see each other on this beautiful day of Guru Pūrṇimā. That today is Guru Pūrṇimā is only possible in Gurudev's kingdom. Perhaps some wise men can tell you that today is not the right constellation, and so on. How is it Guru Pūrṇimā for you today? I always remember that once, a long time ago, a man went to a palm reader and then came to Swāmījī and told him the results, which were not so good. The palm reader made some blackmailing statement, saying something like he would not live long. Of course, Swāmījī said, "With one touch of my nail, I can change it. Why are you so scared?" So we really don't need to be scared or think about any constellation. If Swāmījī says it's Guru Pūrṇimā, it is Guru Pūrṇimā. Because one much wiser man than me said, "If one little planet can influence your life, who are you? Which yogī are you?" So, of course, no constellation has anything to do with Gurudev. Guru Pūrṇimā is also a counting day. Somehow, we are making a line under the bills, pluses and minuses, and we see what we have been doing from the last Guru Pūrṇimā till now. And, of course, whatever we've done, we bring to Gurū Dev's feet with our prayer for him to accept it. Also, on Guru Pūrṇimā, we try to make some decisions, some saṅkalpa, for what we will do next year. Guru Pūrṇimā napján valamilyen döntés, saṅkalpát hozunk, hogy... Mit fogunk a következő évben tenni? You can imagine, we have all watched American movies where there is a tax day, when they must submit their taxes for the last year. Depending on what that person did the last year, that day is calm and nice—he knows he will get some money back—or it is hell because he has no bills, nothing settled. So it is recommendable to be that first man who is relaxed because he did all his work. Maybe that would be the best advice for us also: when Guru Pūrṇimā comes, not to think, "Oh my God, what have I done? What didn't I do? Which sādhanās didn't I do?" Let's make promises to ourselves that by the next Guru Pūrṇimā, we will be very relaxed when this accounting day comes. But, thank God, a Guru is much more than a tax officer. We will not end up in any jail. The Guru is merciful. The Guru is mercy. So whatever we give to him with an open heart, he will at least change it. He is merciful. He is the mercy, and anything we give with an open heart, he can change. The best day for all of us was the day when our ātmā came back to the Guru again in this life. It could be your mantra day, Guru mantra day, or some other day. But you all remember that day when you recognized your Guru again. That moment, when your ātmā understood again, "I have come to the Guru," was the happiest day of your life. That day is your treasure. Because whenever you have doubts, questions, or bad feelings, if you only try to remember that moment when your ātmā was dancing with happiness, everything becomes clear. Remembering that moment is the best remedy for everything. I remembered my moment of recognition. It was a long time ago; I was 22 years old. I came to a seminar held in Vivek Purījī's flat at that time. I didn't know anything; I was actually an atheist. I wasn't searching for anything; I just came. I wasn't searching for a Guru—this is also very important. We all think we are finding a Guru, but he finds us, believe me. At that moment, I recognized my Gurudev. The next day there was also a seminar, and my flat was very far, so I decided to stay in Vivek Purījī's flat among other people. As I was so excited to meet my Gurudev again, I couldn't sleep. I was not a disciple at that time, and I tried to speak with Vivek Purījī about how great Swāmījī is. He was really tired because he organized the seminar, but I couldn't stop. He was really nice and kind, but after some time, deep in the night, he said, "I know, I know that Swāmījī is great. I'm his disciple." And I tried, but I couldn't stop. Again and again, I talked to Vivek Purī about how great Swāmījī is. The next morning, I became Swāmījī's disciple. I didn't look for Gurudev, I didn't know what yoga is, I didn't practice yoga, I was not spiritual, but somehow my ātmā recognized my Gurudev. So, you all have this moment of recognition, and this is the best remedy for everything. Whatever you have in your mind, whatever bad thoughts you are thinking, just come back to that moment, and everything is solved. The best thing we can do today is to try to ask and pray for Swāmījī to accept all that we did. Whether it was good or not, he knows, but we did it with an open heart. The best thing we can do on this day is to pray and ask Gurudev to accept everything. To describe the glory of Gurudev is the hardest thing in the world because there are no words to say something about Gurudev that is not too little. But we thought it would be very nice if people who still don't know Swāmījī could have the opportunity to know him in the best way. So, many of us—I must say this is the work of so many people who worked really hard in the last two weeks—have put together a webpage about Swāmījī. Of course, this is so little, so nothing. We cannot really say what Swāmījī really is. But this first information, which people can get, is now in one place. I invite you all to look at this page, and if you have anything you can contribute for the presentation of Swāmījī, please do. We will collect whatever you have in mind and see what we can do. At this moment, I will not say who worked on this because so many people worked, and I might forget somebody, which would not be good. But I would like to say thank you all, and first of all, I pray that Swāmījī will accept this page and not be too hard on us. The webpage is www.swami.maheshwarananda.org, but all the information can also be found on our international webpage, in your email, etc. Okay, thank you. Hari Om. Now our Karma Sannyāsī, Sādhaka Tyāgpuri, should come. Praṇāms, Swāmījī. Hari Om, everyone. I am so happy we are here for this beautiful Guru Pūrṇimā Satsaṅg. Welcome, everyone. I think we are very, very lucky because Swāmījī is here. You know, we meet many, many people during our life, but an enlightened person is very rare. Sometimes we can feel it, sometimes we can know it, but it is very rare. So I talk about this topic from this morning. The Guru, the enlightened person, is very rare, and Swāmījī is living in a physical body. We respect many holy saints like Guru Nānak, Rāmakṛṣṇa, Yogānanda, and so on, but they are not here in the physical body. This is the big difference and the big opportunity for us. We can ask for instructions, and Swāmījī guides and protects us. So please, Gurudev, just keep going. Hari Om. Hari Om, dear brothers and sisters. We truly have a rare opportunity to be all together with our Gurudev. We hear many times in bhajans and lectures that everything is easy to have in life, but satsaṅg is the most difficult thing. Satsaṅg is important not only because we are together and support each other as a group, giving us strength to survive one more day and stay on the spiritual path, but also because being in satsaṅg with Gurudev is something completely different. Gurudev is always present in every satsaṅg, but on the physical level, with the physical form, it is something even rarer than having a satsaṅg. De a fizikai formában, a fizikai szinten, az ritkább még a satsaṅgnál is. Why is this physical form of Gurudev so important? Miért annyira fontos Gurudevának ez a fizikai jelenléte? First, it is very important to understand Guru Tattva. Először is nagyon fontos megérteni, mi a Guru Tattva. But when we speak about Guru Tattva, when we speak about God, I always remember one joke. It was the time of a flood. Two people ran away from the flood to the roof of a house. They were two Muslim friends. One was praying all the time, "Allah, save me," but the other found a boat. He said to his friend, "Come with me." But his friend said, "No, no... Allah will save me." The man went with the boat but thought, "He is really my friend; I must save him." He came back three times and tried to convince his friend, "Come with me." But every time, the man said, "No, Allah will save me. No, thank you." In the end, that man died and went before heaven. He was really angry with God and said, "I was praying, but now you see I am dead." God said, "You stupid one, three times I sent this man, your friend, to save you." In this world, Gurudeva is such a person. Today we were singing, "Guru Brahma, Guru Viṣṇu, Gurudeva Maheśvara." But it's not only a mantra. We must really understand this principle: how God will help us, Gurudeva will help us. Gurudeva is God on this earth. He is even said to be higher than God. Because I heard Gurujī once say, "You have a horse in a picture and a horse in a stable. Which horse will you take?" Which doctor will help you? The one in physical form or some other form? Thank God all of us have such a kind of doctor. Swāmījī said a few days ago that he is a cosmic surgeon. We know that none of us wants to go into surgery, but sometimes surgery can save our life. Just be aware, when we listen to Guru Gītā, to understand this principle of the Guru. That is the most important thing in our life. We really need a physical doctor who will take care of us, give us medicine, and, how to say, give us a new injection every Guru Pūrṇimā. Every Guru Pūrṇimā is such an injection—an injection of spirituality to survive another year. Thanks to God that we are here, and thanks to God that Swāmījī decided we would have Guru Pūrṇimā today. On the other hand, every day we are with the Guru is Guru Pūrṇimā. You know what Einstein said: time is relative. Śrīdīpna Bhagavān, Kījā. Dr. Śāntī, do you want to say something? Come on. Now you can come this side. I can come this side? Yes, because people have neck pain looking that side, not so far. Svāmījī. Svāmījī. Dear brothers and sisters around the world... Happy to greet you today. I welcome you here in Vép on this surprising Guru Pūrṇimā day. As our Karmayogī said to Swāmījī, "Go on, no, you said? Go on, no?" You told Swāmījī. So I tell you now, please, disciples, go on. Let's sit with Swāmījī, be in his Guru Tattva, and let him teach us. Let's go and be good disciples. I think this is the most important decision for us on this Guru Pūrṇimā: to have some time to think over our last year, to request Swāmījī to forgive us, and to take a new Saṅkalpa for the next year. Just a few minutes ago, I was thinking, "Now I'm already 37 years old with Swāmījī." You can see this in my hair; it became white in the meantime. I have celebrated Guru Pūrṇimā with Swāmījī for 37 years, and he has had the grace to support me as a disciple for 37 years. You know, Guru Pūrṇimā says everything already. You just have to think about Guru Pūrṇimā. He leads us from darkness to the light, to the pūrṇimā in ourselves, to completeness, to Self-realization. So Guru Pūrṇimā itself gives the message of yoga. It is a day of awareness and understanding. And it is not only Swāmījī sitting on this gāḍī teaching us; it is the whole Guru Paramparā guiding and protecting us. Before, I was sitting here looking at the symbol of Yoga in Daily Life, which you see on the backside: the Om surrounded by the sun. In the middle of the sun, we are protected through the light, through the force, through the Śakti of our Guru Paramparā. All our Guru lineages—from Holy Gurujī, Mahāprabhujī, Devapurījī, Śrī Alakpurījī—they are all here today. They surround us, not only today but every day, with light, love, and protection. That makes all of us very secure, and it can heal every darkness within us. There is one bhajan Swāmījī mentioned last week: "Heṇī Śaṇa Bhagavān." In this bhajan, Mahāprabhujī describes the glory of the gāḍī, the chair on which the Gurus of our paramparā sit. Those who have the honor and glory to sit on this gāḍī receive blessings and knowledge directly from Śiva himself. Swāmījī sent me to the Himalayas, to the areas where Devpurījī and Alakpurījī were. I can just tell you, he is still there, in the area beyond Badrināth, very near a place called Svarga Rohiṇī. That means the staircase to heaven. On this way, we are going where Devpurījī went to see Alakpurījī. The five Pāṇḍavas also went, but only the purest and best one, Yudhiṣṭhira, passed into heaven. And this staircase... It is our Gurudevs who are leading us into this heaven. What I wish to convey is that our entire Guru Paramparā is protecting us. We should be aware of this in every moment of our life. Whatever we do, feel, or speak, they are with us. Their sole desire is for us all to come to the light. Whether in this life or another is not important; they are always with us. That is why I thank Svāmījī for allowing me to experience this presence of the Guru Paramparā. I would like to conclude with a small illustration from my own experience. We all face dark and difficult moments when negativity appears before us. During such a time in my life, I was completely disordered, in a very bad condition, full of fear and depression. It was in a satsaṅg, during prayer, that I suddenly received a vision. It was a picture of a cape—a triangular cape that surrounds you—which Devpurījī placed over me. Purījī was ahead, and I was under his cape. In that moment, during the prayer, all fear and negativity vanished. From that instant, I understood what the Guru Paramparā is: they are with us, no matter what happens. We become capable of accepting everything in our life, of finding the good in all things, because they are always with us. Siddhipāda Raṁbhagavāna Kīcai. Siddhipāda Raṁbhagavāna Kīcai. Thank you. So, how are you? Good. There is Erwin from Novo Mesto. He should come and say something here. Thank you and praṇām, and praṇām to all your disciples in orange—inside and outside. With heartfelt respect for all who bear this orange color within and without. We suppose those who have it outside possess even more inside. We must remain in this fire for 20 hours, and we should all respect those who are ready to be in it for 24 hours. We too wish to be in it for 24 hours, yet we still have the time or chance to escape sometimes. It is not easy. I wish first for myself, and for all of us here and around the world who have this feeling, this spirituality inside, and are trying to find a Way, to find these Guru's feet to touch and experience. To have the chance to touch the Gurudev's feet in real life on Guru Pūrṇimā. This is the constellation meant for us. We need this seventh pūrṇimā, the moon's fullness, but it is the pūrṇimā we see in Gurudev and, in fact, feel within ourselves. We have this contact inside, in the heart; it is always Guru Pūrṇimā. Therefore, I would like to offer all this fire we have to go through, and have had to go through until now, to these truly holy feet of Gurudev, which only the heart can understand for now. May this moment last forever. That is my wish for all of us here. There are no words to thank Svāmījī for what we have, of course. Hari Om. Köszönöm Svāmjī-nak. Hari Om. Amit kaptunk tőle. Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Śrī Śrī Dev Purīṣa Mahādeva, Satguru Svāmī Madhvanānjī Bhagavān, Alak Purīṣa Mahādeva—humble adoration to our Siddhapita, Alak Purīṣa Siddhapita Paramparā, and our salutation to all our holy lineages. Dear brothers and sisters, we are here today to remember Guru Pūrṇimā. Just now, before one of our speakers ate, everything was explained. When we think of Guru Purāṇa, Guru Devjā Purāṇa, like Pūrṇimā (the full moon), so Gurudev is Pūraṇa. This mantra we know. Last week we had the opportunity to see glimpses of the holy Himalayas, places like Badrināth, Kedārnāth, Ṛṣikeś, Haridwār, etc., and the holy path towards the high hills of the Himalaya, towards Nīlakaṇṭha, Naranārāyaṇa, etc. Only those who have been there can understand. Others cannot. Some years ago, I was in Kathu, in our ashram where Mahāprabhujī stayed, in the village ashram, Bāgīcī. I was sitting with Holy Gurujī in his room, Baranda, and I saw that Holy Gurujī was gazing at the banyan tree in the ashram—a big tree, as many of you know—and Gurujī had tears in his eyes. I knew what was happening, so I did not ask anything. I was simply with him. After ten minutes, the emotion, the bhakti, calmed down. Gurujī said, "Mahesh, people do not know who Mahāprabhujī was. They have only heard about him, and those who saw him did not realize who he is. This is my Tapabhūmi, my place of tapasyā. Only I know what Mahāprabhujī was, and my witness here is this banyan tree. No one else. It does not matter what people say—whether they understood Mahāprabhujī or not, whether they understand me or not, or Mahesh, whether they understand you or not. Whatever you tell them, they may believe or not, but my witness is the banyan tree. That is how great Divine Mahāprabhujī was." And he, Mahāprabhujī, said to Holy Gurujī, "Every word of Maheśvarānanda will come true. If the sun has its part, Maheśvarānanda has his part." Since that day, Holy Gurujī's attitude towards me was completely different. If you have seen this, then you know. Similarly, we talk about Ālagpurījī, you and me all, but we have not been there. What Dr. Śāntī told us now is because she has seen it. The path is not easy, and everything there is not like a god, but God lived there. God is living there. There is a place called Al Capuri, named after Alak Purījī. In the Mahāśiva Purāṇa comes Alak Purījī's name. When Śāntī was there a few years ago, she felt this cave must be Devpurījī and Alakpurījī's. I think she spent a night there. The cave is not so big, perhaps the size of this hall, just a few square meters. You could hardly go in. Yes, our dear Śāntī went down again to Kedāra Badrinātha. It is not easy work and walk; it is nearly five or six thousand meters in height. Śāntī brought a pen from below and wrote "Devapurījī guphā." So whenever you go, you will recognize which was Devapurījī's guphā. Śāntī is not a person who would just do something. She is a doctor, a dentist. She worked a lot and had many experiences. She is from a very respected family and had everything in her life. If there was something perhaps not good in her life, that was me. So she knows quality, she knows reality, and by the blessing of our Siddha Pītā, Devapurījī, Mahāprabhujī, Holy Gurujī, she gained the quality to know what it is. She dedicated her life in 1981. We were walking through the Vienna Woods, Śāntī and I. It is a beautiful house in the Vienna Woods, and she said, "Svāmījī, it can be everything, but I cannot be like Katarina, Mātājī Katarina, and I cannot be like you." I said, "Svāmījī, I did not ask you. Why do you say this?" She replied, "Because I have a feeling—that is your feeling, not my feeling." And now she is sitting here; she is like me. I did not ask her to be like me or like Mātājī Katarina. It took a long time, but when she does something, she does it exactly. Even if she makes a mistake, she makes it exactly. So it was her saṅkalpa to go and research, to see the origin of our spiritual roots. That is very important for us. Why am I telling you this? I am like you all, and you are all like me. But this holy chair is not mine; it is Alakpurījī's. Whoever will have a place on this chair must be a certain soul, and we adore this chair. This is our dynasty. It is like all British people adore the queen, whether in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or many other countries. So this holy seat is our protection and our path, and we should hold on to it. If we are gone, then we are gone. Many people thought this was a fairy tale, but Śāntī went there and confirmed, yes, there is a place called Alakpurījī. There is a place where the glacier streams and waterfalls begin; that is called Alaknandā. So Alakanandā is our lineage, and from that time it is called Atalākhārā. We belong to three ākhārās: we belong to Atalākhārā, Jūnāākhārā, and Mahānirvāṇīākhārā as well. They respect and acknowledge me, as I also belong to the Nirañjanī Ākhārā. But we have no problems; we are all one. There are four brothers: this brother's house, that brother's house. So there is no duality, no fight. It was not easy for Śāntī to go there. She hired people to carry her luggage, food, and things. Once, a Hungarian person went with a camera, but unfortunately, Śāntī's dream was not fulfilled. She had many photos, and these photos are, of course, the copyright of Śāntī and me and our fellowship, because the permanent rights belong to Alakpurījī. So it is there. When I saw, when we saw this video, I truly had a desire to go there. It is a hard way, but it would take me two months to train, coming there every day, going ten meters or a hundred meters up and down until the body gets used to it. If I am there and then go to samādhi, no problem. Anyhow, it is Svarga Rohiṇī, the stairs to heaven, Svarga. But Mahāprabhujī will not let go of me so quickly. We still have to bring the divine light of Mahāprabhujī. Sometimes there are storms that try to blow out the lamp's flame, but we are not a flame; we are the Sūrya. No one can blow us out. No one can approach us. No one can come to the Sūrya. What will burn will burn, what will melt will melt, what will disappear will disappear. So the staircase to Svarga is Svarga Rohiṇī. But it is said the door to Brahman is the sun. And Devapurījī said, "My photo, if you want to see, is the sun." Go through that door. On the door sits Mahāprabhujī. If we are loyal to this holy seat, no matter how we are, we will pass through. I will stand there, and Mahāprabhujī will look at me. "Should this go?" I will say just yes. Slowly, quickly—his Māyā he knows. Yudhiṣṭhira went, and he had a dog with him. Draupadī could not come; she was the first to fall. Then Nakula and Sahadeva, then Bhīma and Arjuna, but the dog and Yudhiṣṭhira came. When you reach that exact place of Svarga Rohiṇī, a messenger came from Svarga to take him with his body. He said, "Okay, let's go." The dog came and looked at him: "What about me?" "Yes." So Yudhiṣṭhira said, "My dog is going with me." The messenger said, "What? A dog in svarga? No. Only you." So he said, "Then I quit svarga. I will not go. My dog is loyal to me, and I am loyal to him." He turned back to go away. In that minute, the dog changed and became Dharmarāja, the king of justice. The justice of Dharma said, "Yes, Yudhiṣṭhira, you will be known as Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira. I was following your every step, that you truly follow Dharma." Then they went into heaven. So, do you follow your Dharma, your Guru Bhakti? Your word—when you took the mantra in the holy presence of my Lord, in thy holy presence, I give my word. And when you took the kriyās, where is your dharma? Have you lost it, or are you still thinking it over? Make your decisions quickly. There was a very great saint, a Sufi saint, in Turkey, in a place called Konya. He was dancing in God's love, what they call the spiraling dance. His name was Mavlānā, and he said to people, "Come to me as you are. Do not think that you are a sinner or a thief or a criminal or holy or not. I welcome you as you are." So we always have saṅkalpa vikalpa. Sometimes we lose; some doubt creates in us, but still, it is not too late. Come to the Alakpurījī kingdom as you are. Be sure it should not become late. We are all here today to remember our roots, which are from Satya Yuga. Anyone who goes to that place finds their entire vision changed. That place is called Alakapuri. Alakapuri is a place, and above it is the highest village in the world, the highest point above sea level, called Manas. From there, the path goes on to the Kailāsa mountain. So this is not a fairy tale; it is holy. And when from there comes the holy scent, a beautiful bhajan was sung by Dr. Śāntī: the glory of that country where the Satguru took avatāra. Glory, glory to that mother who gave birth to that Satguru. Dicsőség, dicsőség annak az anyának, aki születést adott, annak a Gurudevának. Jaha Satguru Kamala Balihar, I surrender. I surrender, dedicate my life to the holy feet of that holy mother who gave birth to that Satguru Dev. Átadom életemet annak a szent anyának, a szent lábához, aki születést adott Gurudevának. Everyone can get a child. Everyone is a mother. A mother is a mother. A mother can never be a bad mother, but a holy mother is definitely different. So it is said, my adoration to the holy lotus feet of that mother: "Jaha charan kamal meri balhara, Amar lokshe aya hoji Padarya, manus tan vipudhar, Amar lokshe aya." Satguru Dev always comes from the immortal world. Satguru Dev mindig eljut a halhatatlan világba. They took the form of the human body, the great, best human body. Why did they come here? To make the meek people happy and joyful, the poor people, the suffering people. Dukhiya ko sukhya kare hoji, kina hansa udar. And he liberates their ātmā, their soul. He liberates it, Satguru Dev. So do not make anyone unhappy; do not make them Dukhi, make them Sukhi, happy. To have a darśana of such a Gurudeva washes away all dukkha, all troubles. Chute narka, vikāra—naraka is a hell, and vikāra is suffering, disease, torturing. You are liberated from that naraka through the darśana of the guru, even the blessing of that guru. Even Yama has no power; even death cannot look at you. That Kāla, that Mṛtyu, death cannot come near to you. Such a Gurudev is digesting that Kalā, nourishing that Kalā, you know? That is all. Death is sure; we will go. But our life, our dying, is different. And those who went to the Naraka side, their life is different. Therefore, hold on to our Siddha Gādī, Siddha Pīṭha. Which bhajan is Mahāprabhujī singing? "Bhagavad Gītā Hind Deśkā Pūjanik Adhyayana Adhyāya," which I have translated many times, but I will do it after. Bina Satguru nahi tirsake hoji. Without Satguru Dev, one cannot swim across the ocean of this māyā, this world, this suffering. Chai Surunar Muni Avtar—it does not matter if they are heroes, great men, ṛṣis, or avatāras. Without Satguru Dev, they cannot cross this ocean. Śrī Guru Īśvara says, "Therefore, Gurū Dev is more than Īśvara." Not only more, but here it says crores, millions of times more than Īśvara. Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Satgurū Milīyā Hojī, and therefore I met. Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī is a Satguru Dev whose glory is beyond our imagination, in past and in future. Brahmanand Purījī is saying this glory. Brahmanand Purījī is saying this glory. Brahmanand Purījī. He was a disciple of Mahāprabhujī. Thank you, Mahāprabhujī, that I was nearly halfway to the hill, but you liberated me. Therefore, I bow down and take the holy dust up from that place, that land where Sadhguru is incarnated. Our adoration to the Divine Mother, who gave birth to this bhajan itself. When one sings in that Marwari Rajasthani melody, who understands? Every hair stands up; the whole body vibrates, full of love and joy, only saying this one word. Merely hearing it is like when Kṛṣṇa played his flute: all the peacocks and birds gave up eating; the calves, while drinking milk, stopped and looked, listening to Kṛṣṇa's melody. Tigers and deer and sheep stood together. They forgot that one is a tiger and the other a sheep. There was no fear because of Kṛṣṇa's flute. Similarly, this glory is called Amṛta, Amṛtasabda, Amṛtabāṇī—the immortal words that liberate us. So we are the blessed ones. From which lives do we have such great good karma, such great destiny, that we found a center at the Śrī Alakpurījī Siddha Pīṭha? I bless you all in the name of the Ālakpurījī Siddha Paramparā and pray for your good health, happy long life, Śakti, Bhakti, Vairāgya, and Tyāga in the Ālakpurījī Siddha Paramparā. Surrender all this Śakti, Bhakti, Vairāgya, and Jñāna for the development of your spirituality and ātma jñāna or Brahmaloka. With this, I pray to Mahāprabhujī for our well-being, that He forgive our mistakes and bless us. Thank you for coming, and to those bhaktas with us through the webcast. Om Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ. Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Alak Puruṣa Mahādeva, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Satguru Svāmī Mādhavānandījī Bhagavān, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Om.
