Astrology is the third eye of God

The moon's influence and astrology are tools on the path to self-knowledge. The moon profoundly affects the earth and all life. True astrology is a spiritual science of pure mathematics, not common commercial prediction. It requires deep discipline and practice. The human body is the essential vehicle for realization. One must care for it through proper food and lifestyle, avoiding intoxicants. The restless mind, like a monkey's tail, creates confusion and must not be followed. Filter all influences and remain on your disciplined path. The ultimate destination is Ātmā Jñāna—self-inquiry and realization.

Siddhip Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī, Devaiśvara Mahādeva Kī, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānjī Bhagavān Kī, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī. Good evening and welcome, everyone. Today is already in constellation; it’s called Amāvasyā. Amauśa is a Sanskrit name. It means today the sun and moon are moving at the same time. So there is no moonlight at all. It will take two days, or 37 hours or 38 hours, for the new moon, the crescent moon, to be visible. According to astrology, the moon has a very great effect on our earth—on the vegetation, on all elements, and on every creature. The best horoscope, according to astrology, is based on the Moon. Often, people are asking about their horoscope, and that we do believe. Now, if you believe or you don’t believe, it doesn’t change. But it is very hard; it is rare you will find someone who can accurately calculate the time of your birth. Astrology, the jyotiṣa, is the third eye of God. And palmistry, which you can see the different lines on your palms and your foot soles, on your forehead, on your elbows, on your fingers, etc.—palmistry, which also includes reading all the lines of your body, whether of the palms or another part. That’s called the dormant destiny, talents, or your spiritual property that is lying under the ocean; that is called Samudra Śāstra, the philosophy of the ocean. Everything from this earth is lying in the womb of the ocean. Our birth and everything is dependent on the first seconds; our destiny decided to send us or direct us towards this beautiful earth. That is a real birth, when we enter into the era of this earth. This is called our planet, the mortal world. Who came will go, and who go may come back. Many do not believe in astrology. Of course, it’s their choice. Believe or not believe, it doesn’t change what will happen. If you don’t believe in astrology, but astrology will tell you that in 100 years, on that day, there will be a solar eclipse. And they will tell you exactly when it will begin and when it will end. So it will be, but we don’t believe now. But you will believe, and you will see. So this is very clear evidence that astrology is true. It is pure mathematics. But mathematics is also counted. Those who don’t believe in Ayurveda, then there is another evidence. There is some remedy in Ayurveda to clean the stomach, and that’s what we call Śaṅkaprakṣālana, and that we call Julāb. If you take this little, a little bit, this little pearl, little tablet, it’s like mung seed, or let’s say, apple seed. You take it, and in one or two hours, you have to be close to the WC. So, it has an effect. Everything. Astrology is a great tool. We can avoid something. Yes. We can do something for it. But not that kind of astrology where many people are reading a book and a computer and then coming and talking about horoscopes. Where people study something in books or on the computer, and then they talk about astrology. There is a computer; you can buy that. And you can type exactly your birth date, place, and everything. And you get much, much information, prediction. So once someone printed for me out in Jaipur. And at the same time, for someone else who was with me from Europe. And 100% was the same, mine and hers. The person, she is from Vienna, at that time she was about 12 years, 13 years. Now we both have different lives, ways, everything. So if you have a spiritual development, then you open your inner eye. If you consume alcohol or some kind of drug, you will not have these talents. Intellectually, you may talk and speak about astrology. So if you go to some astrologer, make an x-ray of that person. Ask if this person has been consuming alcohol for 30 years, 40 years. My dear, this is called discipline. Self-discipline is key to success. And discipline is not only that you will do from time to time. But the whole time of our life. Where were you born? How was it with your parents? How were your friends, your school? Teenager time? And till today, everything is printed on the inner screen. And that influences your knowledge about anything. Astrology is something very, very fine. It is said that in Vedic mathematics, one second is multiplied into thirty-nine times. One second in 39 times, I don’t think any computer is still capable of it. And who knows this? That can be the best astrologer. Others are okay. We read every day in the newspaper what my horoscope says. When it’s good, then we say, "Oh, I see, it’s good for me today." And when there is something not good, it’s a newspaper. So is that. If you would like to be the best of the best astrologers, then do the sādhanā and tapasyā. Astrology is spiritual, and whoever is doing astrology should do it completely free. So there are many in India, I don’t know about here. And if they come to your home, or you go there for this, they will not take even a cup of tea from you. Because that knowledge is not salt. That’s very, very... And now, mostly people are doing astrology for commercial purposes. So psychologically, okay. But that person can screen your entire past life. And future too. But the best astrologer will not tell you what will be in the future. Only I will tell you that, at that time, you should be careful or do this pūjā or that, and that. Which mantras? So, the moon, which mantras. So the Moon, which is the closest to our Earth, is like that needle which balances the entire Earth. And mostly all emotion, even in vegetation, is emotion. And almost all emotions, even the emotions of the plant, are guided and controlled by the Moon. And the new moon is the most beautiful ornament of Lord Śiva’s crown. Because Śiva means the entire universe, and for us, the nearest beautiful shining moon, so on the new moon we all worship. And there is a holy fasting time also in Islam, oh, they adore, they see the moon, and then they break the fasting. So if anyone is consuming alcohol, has been drinking alcohol, don’t go to that person. Go as a friend, support. It’s good, but then you will not get that chance. So the same second you are born, but there was some little delay that only a Trikāla Darśī can do. So astrologers have their own sādhanā, years and years of long practice. Then one can tell. Similarly, after 14 days, this dark moon, the night, turns into the full moon. Pūrṇī, complete. So that also has an effect on our body. So the moon sādhanā every day is indicating something for us and for the weather or environment. And for that sādhanā, there is a fixed time when you should eat and when you should fast. So we should know information. This accurate information is not written anywhere. That you can find only in grandmother’s education. What you call the grandmother’s kitchen. The grandmother’s kitchen, apothecary, or chemistry shop. It is a great pity that we lost the best science. And that is the cooking science. And that’s why we are so ill. The bright future for humanity will only come if they learn perfect cooking. Cooking means not just putting it in hot water or in oil and frying it. That’s not pumpkins, potatoes, tomatoes; this is not all. I got today this beautiful, nice herb coming from the small Tatra or Slovakian mountains, and it is said that it has a medical value. Much grass grows there. Why only this one has that quality? Similarly, many creatures are there, many humans are there. But certain ones have that quality. Why did this energy enter these herbs and not others? Because if this is only best for something, and what is good for other things, therefore, what God made, He made exactly everything perfectly. All of us, we have different qualities, different talents, knowledge, everything. And that makes pūrṇa, completeness. So, for which kind of food, what kind of spices should we add? Not only for our taste, but for our entire health. Therefore, the Mahā Mantra of the Āyurveda is called Pahalasukni Rogī Kāya. The first happiness is good health. Health is not everything, but everything is nothing without health, someone said. But everything is nothing. Even health is nothing if the body is not here. So everything without body is nothing. Without the body, the soul cannot be here. So the body is everything. Then say no. Without soul, what will this body do? So there is no soul in the dead body. The soul is there. Very important. But say no. Soul is not. Soul is a bundle of karmas, and destiny is. But it’s not everything. Ātmā is everything. Ātmā is that where there is nothing. What there is nothing is the ātmā. So we are now confused. That’s it. But completeness, Pūrṇa, and finishing all karmic debt is ātma-jñāna. So, finally, it’s Ātmā. But that ātmā jñāna also we cannot reach without the human body, and this human body cannot give us that if we do not treat this body properly. So, what is in this bag? The body is like a bag. So what is inside? So what quality do you give? What kind of saṅgha, the companion, do you have? With whom are you spending your time? What are you talking? What are you eating? What are you drinking? Where are you moving? That’s it. And many people try to take you away from your path, and then they talk nice. Now, in your horoscope, there is a time that comes. There will be three different paths, and if you decide or not, you will go to one of those paths. But if there is something like a selfless seva, that will support you to maintain your spirituality. Which you have lost, because you will lose this. So this is the best way for you. You should have a higher aim. Now you need something different. What a talk. This is just to confuse you. We shall continue our path. If you can change your body, you should change your path. Mind, you can change. But mind also, you don’t know what is a mind. Did you ever see your mind? Did you talk to your mind? And how clever is your mind, who is living within your body, and still you didn’t see him? Always, always making you something confusing or governing over you. Day before yesterday, I was flying from London to Vienna on, of course, Austrian Airlines, and they showed some cartoons or some little videos to make people a little happy, and there was something about a monkey. And the monkey goes to sleep, and his tail is slowly, slowly pulling him down. The turtle tail pushes and pushes, and he’s pushed back. And he goes to some branch of the tree and pulls him back. And he sees who is there. Nobody. Again, he sleeps. The tail goes up and holds the branch and pulls him up, oh God. And then again, he gets up and puts his tail beside him and sleeps, and the tail comes slowly, and he’ll make like this. Poor monkey can’t sleep, can’t relax, and doesn’t know who is pulling him. So that tail is our mind. That our mind is the tail of the monkey, and we don’t see who is that. Therefore, mind, don’t trust the mind. Mana cancal mana. There is one mantra poem, very nice one: "Mana ke māṭe na caliye, gali palak mana." Or, "Mana cancal mana cora hai." Or one word I forgot in between, that mind is restless, mind is a thief, and the third word I forgot, and it will come to me. Don’t follow your mind. Every minute and every second, your mind is different. And so, when you are influenced by someone’s sweet words, something like this, now you need to change. You have higher aims, and you must develop this. These are what we call in modern psychology blackmailing. So if you are influenced by the sweet words of someone who tells you that you have a higher goal, it is something that in modern psychology we call blackmailing. Hosyar reyna bandhe, hosyar reyna bandhe, mat jana thaga karke. Oh, my dear one, be careful. Oh, buj opatrni, hosyar reyna bandhe, mat jana bul thaga ke. Don’t let cheat. Ye nagri he thaga ki. The city is the city of the cheaters. That gate he dam, pillar, they cheat you with the black men. You are the king of this body. Your senses and your mind are your people. Don’t be a slave to them. Be careful. So these are the self-instructions to oneself. So we have to filter everything to know what is the reality. What does a human life mean for me? What a chance! Don’t lose it. If you miss it, you enter into the 8.4 million circle. So understand the human life and take the advantage of this each time. So how do you treat this human body? If God incarnates also in a human body, so everything you have, but your changes of mind, are our problem. So he is living in, but you don’t know. We can’t check him. We can’t control it. Everyone says we shall control our mind. But tell how and whom? Whom should you control? Where is that? So this is the tail of the monkey. The monkey does not know that it is on its tail, which is troubling him. So my life is very interesting. Life is a challenge. Life is a journey to the destination. So remain on your highway. Finally, it is Ātmā. Our destination is Ātmā Jñāna, Ātmā Cintan, Ātmā Anubhūti. Ātmā Cintan means: What is the Ātmā? Who am I? Self-inquiry meditation. So, first we should know, how am I? Then who am I? Ātmā Cintan, through this Cintan will come Ātmā Anubhūti. Ātmānubhūti means self-realization, and it’s a long time and slow, but disciplined. There will be a lot of temptations, there will be a lot of negative energy, there will be a lot of positive energy. Even now, ask this tree. How many different kinds of weather situations stand through? Hot, cold, the hills, rain, snow storms. Who was sitting on it? How many creatures? How many people we love? We sit under this tree, and next Friday you will go, and this tree will say, "That’s all? You are selfish." You enjoyed my shelter, and I was proud. So many of my friends are all sitting near me, close to me. And how selfishly you have gone. Again, I am alone, but the tree doesn’t say this. Devotees will come and devotees will go. But still, my Lord, I will be Thine. I may leave or go far, far beyond the stars. My Gurudev, I will be dying. And even if I die, look into my eyes, mutely they will say, I will be dying. So, that person will be successful. Others will be washed into the river. Well, the river will enter the ocean, and Uncle Ocean has a big stomach. So all have a place to rest there. But to come to Brahmaloka, that is different. So, ātmanā vṛtti, ātmanā liśa, a prokṣaṇu bhūti, that’s it. So, visible which is hidden, but it is there to realize. That is our aim. This all, what we think, "my," "thy," this, all, it will finish quickly for whom you say. That is mine. Soon we will not be there. Sabī chodkar chalā musāfir vās kiyā vānkā, jagatme jīvan he do dinkā. Everything you have left, O traveler, and you disappeared in the forest. Moku, kaha to dunde bandhe, me to tere pasme. Where are you searching me, oh my friend? I am with you. My hut is out of the city. The city is not a seat of God; the city is a city, but the forest is the nature. But my residence is in your breath. If you will search, you will see me immediately. A search of only one second. Only one second, you will see me. That I am in your breath. I am with you, but we can’t see. So we have to develop. So today is Amāvasyā, and tomorrow will be different. And I hope we will see again the new moon day after tomorrow, or day after tomorrow this time of sunset. If there are no clouds again, we will have the opportunity to see the full new moon. Keep ready in your hands anything made of silver. Silver coin, silver ring, or anything made of silver. Silver represents the moon. It’s beautiful, it’s nice. Do you remember last year? Krishnanand was good, and he organized certain silver coins. And one person took it in Australia. Now, what should I do with this silver coin? If I sell, I can’t get that money. It cost me a lot of money. But I don’t know how to use it. That means you lost the value. That’s it. So silver is something, energy, which is very close to our realization. But still, be careful is also not so. When and where do you see that? Everyone loves gold. So this silver new moon turns into a full moon like a big gold. And God said, "This gold belongs to all of you." Poor and rich. Take it as much as you like. So it is full moon that belongs to everyone, and that day is satsaṅg also. Pūrṇamadha, Pūrṇamidhaṁ, these mantras you know. So tomorrow at 10:30, we will continue. We wish you a very good evening and good night. Om Śānti Śānti... Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī, Devīśvar Mahādev, Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī.
