Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Győr-Moson-Sopron Association of Yoga in Daily Life, we warmly welcome His Holiness, Viśvagurū Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Paramahaṃsvāmī Maheśvarānanda Purījī, the altar and founder of Yoga in Daily Life and the Śrī Svāmī Madhavānanda World Peace Council. For hosting the 105th World Peace Tree of His Holiness Swamijī, we would like to express our appreciation to Professor Dr. Péter Földesi and welcome him to the event. We further thank and welcome Mr. László Rózsavölgyi, Head of the Committee of Education, Sports and Tourism at the Municipal Government of the City of Győr. Your Holiness, dear guests, ladies and gentlemen, it is a great honor for us to have His Holiness Swamijī on the grounds of Széchenyi István University. As we have learned, His Holiness has planted over 100 World Peace Trees around the globe, and today it is our turn to join his initiative and give rise to a lasting symbol of peace, sustainability, and, hopefully, longevity with you. In front of your university library, we have further learned about the Indian forestation initiatives and the RIO post-2020 voluntary tree planting commitments of Yoga in Daily Life, as well as the One Million Trees project, with the Sacred Forest of Adelaide, Australia, that is dedicated to His Holiness Swamijī and to his efforts in creating world peace. We trust that the educational process at Széchenyi István University contributes to the advancement of the enrolled students beyond the framework of the scientific curriculum. Our ultimate aim is to raise graduates with integrated personalities, showing respect to both the law of science and the law of nature. The tree we are planting today is a symbol of this effort. Thank you, Dr. Földesi, for the very warm welcome. And Mr. Rózsavölgyi, you are respectfully asked to contribute to this auspicious event. Respected guests, dear gathering, life is not about accelerating. The peace tree is the symbol of peace, family, work, and sport. Respected Your Excellency, please let me welcome you with Hungarian wisdom: "To the challenges of the wind, the Hungarian tree answers with its roots." This is a spiritual lecture about Yoga in the Indian tradition. This is the water of life. The citizens of Győr and the Hungarians, dear brothers and sisters, today is a very auspicious day. It is a full moon again, and we are planting this beautiful tree, which has the aim to go higher. So all the students who will come here to study and sit under this tree—always, their consciousness and their thoughts will be very high. Into this tree, I gave a mantra. That’s a kind of spiritual word which this tree will resonate forever. Especially the students who have a kind of nervousness when examinations come—they should come and touch this tree and wish that they will pass. I can tell you, it will come true. So this tree is not only a tree for the fulfillment of a wish, not only for study, but for anything. For anything, because this tree is life. And what I give now to someone who is in life will remain forever. This tree should never die. Now it is our duty to take care of it. Day by day and every night, it will grow more and more: the harmony, the peace, the love, the brotherhood, and the wisdom. I pray to Almighty that my words will come true. And now, if you have any wish, whoever is here, please wish. Keep it in your heart. In Ukraine, I had a peace tree in a big park. If you have a wish, put one thread. Now, that tree is more with the threads than the leaves. Definitely, their wishes came true. So it is not only psychological, but this is education. It is given to this tree with request, not with command. We do not command, but we request and pray. She is a mother. She is a living mother here, on living earth. And we are always, as His Excellency said, living on the blue planet. Actually, we are living on the green planet. So He said, "Let’s turn it into greenery."
