Keep the light

The Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā stems from the Himalayan legacy, where cosmic energy focuses directly from the universe.

The master chose Jadan as a holy seat of immense energy, destined for all mankind.

Every word of the Guru comes true.

In Jadan Ashram, the light is radiant, but outer peace does not automatically bring inner peace.

Life there is simple and intense, with time passing differently, allowing deep spiritual absorption.

The lost needle searched outside where there is light, though lost in darkness, reflects ignorance.

Where there is light, bright thoughts arise; where there is darkness, negativity comes.

Christmas is a time to give away negative qualities, offer good feelings, and practice forgiveness.

God unites in oneness, beyond differences in religion or culture.

The Himalayas are the youngest mountains, yet they grow tall, hosting many saints and yogis.

Alakhpurījī is indescribable, spotless, everlasting—a Śiva-like being.

Serving the master in every aspect is the true sādhanā.

Through such service, the physical body may transform into a subtle body, gaining siddhis.

Śiva drank the world’s poison, becoming Nīlakaṇṭha, the blue-throated one.

Alakhpurījī blessed Devpurījī in the glaciers, granting divine powers.

The dharma is to work for Gurudeva and bring his message to others.

“Only to see the mountains is nothing. But in those mountains, we are searching for something.”

“Where there is light, it brings bright thoughts. And where there is darkness, negative thoughts come.”

Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jaya Śrī Śrī Devpurīśya Mahādeva Kī Jaya Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān Kī Jaya Satya Sanātana Kī Jaya Śrī Paramparā, Viśvarūpa Nāmakrījī Gurudeva Kī Jaya Jaya. Well, all dear ones, this evening is dedicated to the holy occasion of Christmas. And, as well, continuing our Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā, Alakhpurījī Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā. And as our Siddha Pīṭh Paramparā continues, Alakhpurījī’s Siddha Pīṭh. Only to see the mountains is nothing. But in those mountains, we are searching for something. And that we shall speak something. It is His blessing. That is from such high mountains, on a very flat desert place. He chose His holy seat, meaning Jadanar. It has immense energy, and I tell you, one day it will be a great holy place for all mankind. It is already in Indian tourism, and it is called the holy place for all mankind. You see, the master very rarely writes about disciples. Holy Gurujī, you remain peaceful. I will call you, yeah? All. Trikāl Darśī. Every word of the Gurudeva comes true. What Devpurījī said all came true. What Mahāprabhujī said all came true. And what Holī Gurujī said all comes true. You know, a few months ago on the 13th of June, mistakenly, someone gave me a word. I don’t know why the British Parliament House gave me the Pride of India award. I was surprised that it is not new. Because this gave me Holī, Gurujī, already. After becoming my Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar, Gurujī wrote this bhajan, and in that bhajan it is said, “Bhārat Kī Gaurav Gāthā Me Kar Diyā Nām Ujalā, Bhārat Kī Gaurav Gāthā,” the glory of India, the glory of India. In that, he made another point of the light. Maheshwarananda I said, “Gurujī, Bhārat Gaurav, Bhārat Gaurav.” So the 13th of June I could see the fulfillment of Gurujī’s words. Also, on my birthday, Gurujī wrote a bhajan and gave it to his disciple to write his name. And Gurujī said, “Juga Juga Jīvo Maheśvarānanda.” Do you know what it means? The senses and sensory objects leave Maheśvarānanda. So, in the form of our Siddha Pīṭha, Om Āśrama Jāḍaṅ, as long as the last stone will exist there, you and me, we will be alive. That’s it. You left there permanently the sign of your presence through your help. In which way, it doesn’t matter. So, I am also working like you did. I have two hands, and it comes here. It holds it, goes there, and it works. But I get sore muscles, muscle kata. So, we are all one, and we will do it. So, Jog Jog Jīo, Maheśvarānanda. Many of you have been, many of you have not been. Now, for these 10, 12, or 15 days, I will be in India. And I hope you will come. Then I will go a little farther overseas. But come there to work, inner work and outer work; there is peace and bliss, the result of satsaṅg. Our Gurudev said. So, come after some days, come back at Christmas time. Go meditate. This is a beautiful pilgrim place. The holiest for us: Delhi, Jaipur, Kelā, Khaṭū, Nīpal, Jādan. That’s it for us. So, how is life in Jadan? Many you know, many don’t know. So, our dear brother, Vasant. Vasant. Va-sant. Va-sant. Va means wow, wow. Va means wow, in English. Vasant. So, free translation: “Here is a saint.” And who can bring this Vasant? Vasant means spring. Vasant. Vasant means spring. Beautiful spring. And when spring comes, all is happy. All depression is gone. Jealousy grows. Greed develops. Vasant. So he was there helping, so he will tell about the life of Jadana. It’s very unusual for me to be higher than Guru Dev, just in physical form. I don’t feel I am really the right person to tell you something about Jadan because I don’t spend so much time there. This year I’ve been there for four months, but I will fulfill Swāmījī’s wish and I will tell you something about it. Jadan, as many of you had the chance to experience, is a beautiful place. If Mahāprabhujī’s light shines here in Strilky, in our āśram, then the light there is absolutely incredible. And if Mahāprabhujī’s light is shining here in Strilky Ashram, then in Jadan Ashram his light is truly radiant. But on the other side, it’s sometimes difficult to digest or to bear all this light, because it’s not true that there is a shadow under the lamp. It’s a Czech saying; I don’t know whether it’s in English also. Life in Jadan is very simple, and I would say that it’s very basic also in comparison to the life we live here in Europe in families. There are no disturbances of the outer world. For example, there is no television and other things there. So as Swamījī said, it’s very peaceful there. But if you are searching for some disturbances, you can find there even computers and internet, so it’s possible to get disturbed if you want to. And the thing is that this outer peace does not mean that we have inner peace automatically. And there are no soap operas and long movies and series on TV there, but you can live the life soap opera in interaction between bhaktas and people staying in the ashram. And you can also see many imperfections in other people and also within you. And now the question is, how will you handle these imperfections? Many people lived here in Strilky Ashram, and they got the idea of what it is like to live in an ashram. But to live in Jadan Ashram is really more intense. It’s difficult to describe. The excitement of all when Gurudeva has to come, the preparation, the light that precedes him, these are such amazing experiences that really fill the heart, that it is completely overflowing. And that there is some kind of radiance before his coming, so it can fill one’s heart until it is overflowing. Also, the Mahāsamādhi of our Gurudev is there as a kind of spiritual presence, and anyone who has some problem can go there and take some comfort from there. And also, when you start to work there, when you come to work there, and you get into some kind of working routine, it might happen that you completely lose the notion of time passing, and you stay there for 5 years or 15 years, and suddenly you realize that you... You are 10 years older also, and nothing has really changed, that the time has not passed at the same speed as it is here. We see how children are growing up in the family. Something is still happening. We have different orders, different occupations, but imagine that you are in such a light time and space vacuum, and you have the opportunity to devote yourself to your personal spiritual activities. In Jadan, you are in some kind of a different time and space environment, and you can really sink deep into your spirituality. So if you feel a little bit afraid to go there, if you feel some fear from going to the Āśram, because it might be too difficult, too wild for you, so don’t be afraid, don’t hesitate, and come. It’s a different nature, it’s a different environment, but there is this blessing of Gurudev and his presence, and it changes everything for the better, for good. I thank Guru Dev that I am able to go to Jadān Āśram and to help, from my weak powers, to be part of it. It was nice, nice bhajans, and we are happy to be here. This is the time of Christmas. So, it’s good to remember what we call “celebrate.” From the beginning of December until the end of January. Just to make the paper, they are just filling out the form. Now, modern people have a lot of time, so they do everything written. So it doesn’t matter if we don’t know or we don’t know the date. Of Jesus’ birth. And give away all negative qualities and give the positive quality. So we always give some good presents in order to offer our good feelings, this ventilation of bliss. Thank you. And purify, throw away bad qualities. So where there is light, it brings bright thoughts. And where there is darkness, negative thoughts come. One is searching somewhere else, but will not find. You know the story, but a healthy lady lost a needle. And she was searching in front of her house for a few days. Living room, door, outside of the door—she couldn’t find a needle. So one neighbor came and he asked her, “Can I help you?” She said, “Yes, please. I’m tired. I was searching for three days.” So that man also was beginning to search for her needle after one hour. He said, “Grandmother, can you tell me where exactly you lost the needle?” She said, “Well, I lost a needle in my bedroom.” He said, “Why don’t you search there? Because there is a darkness.” So, Grandmother, even your sleeping room is dark. The needle which you lost in the sleeping room, you will not find in the garden. So you can search everywhere, but you will not find. Because you know where the needle is, there is a darkness. And because of the darkness of ignorance, we are searching in different parts outside. So when we put the light, candles, or oil lamps, what we call a Christmas tree, Rama comes back from Sri Lanka, which is near South India. It has been thousands of years, so light is used for holy things. So this is our great blessing, that we can remember God. Well, some say Jesus is not a god; he is only the son of God. The peacock births an egg; you need not put color inside. The baby which will come out of the egg is colorful. So be the son of God, then you must be God Himself. We are all sons and daughters. We should not forget the daughters. Every creature is the light of God, and so when we remember or celebrate, when we remember it, when we celebrate it, on a spiritual day like Christmas, we should not make any differences. We should not make differences in religion, culture, or country. God is uniting in oneness. That we should think of Mother Mary first and of Father Joseph. We always say that the credit goes to the parents. They gave birth to such a child. Or it is a shame for the parents that they gave birth to such a child. So, parents, they should educate the children. But nowadays, before parents educate the children, the children educate them. The river is flowing in the opposite direction. So this Christmas time is for the protection of the environment. It is time to protect the environment, protect all life, and practice forgiveness. Give up ego and all of this and that. Develop good qualities to share with others. If you can share something with someone, then that is a good quality. Do not share with someone of bad quality. Do not talk badly about others. Do not blame others. Do not humiliate others. That is a reflection on our self. A wise one will not do that. A wise one has a light, and light always is a light. The foolish one is ignorance, and ignorance is darkness. Always remain in darkness. This is the divine message. Bless you all for Christmas. And it doesn’t matter with whom you will celebrate, or where you will be. Wish you all the best. Everyone wishes for different things. And here, when we wish the children want to have snow, even Saint Martin is delayed. He still hasn’t come to Martin. So when he is delayed, then everything is delayed. So I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we have many. Yes, very good. Veľmi dobře? We are very near to Rajasthan, you know. The Czechs are a little far. The Czechs are a little far. The Czechs are a little far. Anyone would like to sing a Christmas song? Anyone would like to sing a Christmas song? Like so. Powerful. Like so. Powerful. All the best. Happy Christmas. Well, you have heard and seen today some glimpse of the Himalayas. Himalaya is a holy mountain. All incarnations and what we call the Svayamūrtis, Himalaya is a holy mountain, Himalaya is a holy mountain... Though it is one of the youngest mountains, in all the mountains of the world, in all the mountains of the world... The Himalayas are the youngest ones. And you know, now in this modern time, the youngest children are growing taller. So the Himalayas also grew high, and they are still growing. It has a very special point on this earth where the cosmic energy is focused directly from the universe. So there is a way of coming and going in this cosmic consciousness. It’s a very mysterious mountain, and all kinds of creatures are there, and many holy saints, monks, and yogīs. Many holy men, yogīs, and monks—where we are sitting now, once it was under glaciers, so we are also slowly, somehow, coming from that Himālaya side back. That’s why our roots are there. There is also a story coming about Alakhpurījī. Alakh means indescribable. Alakh means writing, not in English. Luck, good luck and bad luck. But in Hindi, luck, and in Sanskrit also, luck. So, luck means to write something, but alak means indescribable. When it’s only empty space, what name should I give? What should I write? So God is indescribable. Alak Niranjan, Niranjan, spotless. Spotless means having no sin. So, if there are no spots, that is spotless. Niranjan, Alakh, Niranjan, Nitya, everlasting, and Akhant means indestructible. It is a pūrṇa. So that level of consciousness, when we follow the Master’s path, what does it mean to follow the Master’s path? In every aspect, serve the Master. That is our benefit. That is sādhanā. Not sitting and meditating. That will come after, when you are old and can’t move. Before that, he was working for Gurudev, like Holī Gurujī. By the example, until the last breath of Mahāprabhujī, the Holy Gurujī was repeating the name of Mahāprabhujī. Holy Gurujī was following every word of Mahāprabhujī. It is something. So through that sādhanā, we come to the subtle body, or the current śarīra, the current body. Then our physical body doesn’t require any kind of nourishment except energy. It is above. No solid and liquid nourishment. Slowly, slowly, their physical body turns into a subtle body. They could go through the rock. They could walk on the water, or sit in the water and meditate. There are many siddhis. Siddhis come from that sādhanā. So, Alakhpurījī is getting the quality of Śiva. That’s why Śiva. And Śiva is from there, this Nīlakaṇṭha Mahādeva, Nīlakaṇṭha Temple, or mountain you saw. It is dedicated to Śiva. When the ocean was churned, and Śiva was there at that time, when they brought the poison, if they threw this poison anywhere, the whole earth would be destroyed. So what to do? So they went to Śivjī. Finally, Śiva is great; that’s why he is Mahādev. No god has this name. Only Mahādev. The god of the goddess is Mahādeva. And he is known as Bholināth. Very gentle one, very kind one, like an innocent, gives anything. So Śiva said, “Okay, give me the poison.” He drank it and digested it. Kept in his throat, he became blue. And from that day on, one name of Śiva is called Nīlakaṇṭha, the blue-throated one. So they gave the name of the mountain already, Nīlakaṇṭha, Śiva. So Alakhpurījī is there. But it is not easy to get him close. He may walk through us. We are walking through the mountain. And he is coming in front of us and going through. How lucky we are. He will take all karmas away, so sometimes they can make their līlā. They can give the darśan in different forms, and I am waiting for that. I am asking him. I am putting down some notes about my life. And a chapter of Alakhpurījī, I would like to give his image. But it’s too high a mountain. I will take a helicopter and sit there for 10-20 days. Of course, the helicopter will be sent back, and I will sit there like a little child. I will not come home, I will not come home... I will not come home. You have to give me something. Give me my bike, give me my bike. Maybe Alakhpurījī will be pleased. And he will have mercy towards his grandchildren. So that whole place is known as Alkapuri. He is known as Alka Purī. Alka is Alakhpurījī. That valley, the entire valley, is dedicated to his name. So, what the Pāṇḍavas’ story is, the Pāṇḍavas were instructed to go to have a darśan and blessing of Alakhpurījī. Unfortunately, the four Pāṇḍavas and Draupadī couldn’t survive. Heavy glaciers, high altitude, but Yudhiṣṭhira survived. And I think definitely Yudhiṣṭhira had the blessing of Alakhpurījī. Being such a great holy saint, a Śiva-svarūpa, like Śiva, the water which is melting glaciers from this Alakhpurī tal, the name, that time, many yugas before, gave the name of the river called Alaknandā. And on the other side is coming, Bhāgīrathī. And the disciple of the Bhagavad Gītā, her name was Gaṅgā. So the Bhagavad Gītā said, “This should be known as my disciple, Gaṅgā.” And that Gaṅgā, which comes from the river Gaṅgā, Pramloka. Therefore, the Gaṅgā and Alaknanda. And there is a beautiful river called the Mandākinī River. These three merge together. That becomes the complete Gaṅgā. And they meet the Deva Pariyāga. So these are the three meridians through the Himalaya: Gaṅgā, Yamunā, and Sarasvatī. These are the three mighty rivers. So, Alakhpurījī, I don’t know which yugas he was in, because Satya Yuga, Dvāpar Yuga, Kali Yuga, four yugas, then again begins Satya Yuga. So I can’t say in which yuga it was. But it was that time when the ocean was churned. So I’m sure that Alakhpurījī had many, many disciples, many, many. We have no copyright to bring them here. If I go and ask, “You are my guru, but you come with me,” they will say, “Who are you?” So many are there somewhere; many went away, incarnated again, and went away. So it is like Devpurījī traveled to the Himalayas. And in those glaciers, Devpurījī was an avadhūta. Avadhūta means one who doesn’t care about anything. And so he stayed somewhere in the caves, and Alakhpurījī was very pleased and gave the blessings to Devpurījī. And then Devpurījī got all these divine siddhis, the powers of Śiva. So Devpurījī left something for us here. So I’m trying to bring this message to all. And you got it, and you give further. So our dharma, our sādhanā is to work for Gurudeva and bring the message and teaching of Gurudeva to others. Unless you don’t understand, or you didn’t understand, you didn’t realize, then you are doing some different things. So you are confused, and you are confusing others. So people don’t know what is the truth now. So truth is truth. So, Alakhpurījī, Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā, we should serve that. That is our order. Śrī Dīp Nār Bhagavān, Śrī Deviśwar Mahādeva, Dharma Samrāṭ, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān, Satya Sanātana
