God-realisation

Human life requires spiritual education to awaken its dormant potential. Without it, one lives merely for eating, drinking, and procreating, utilizing only a fraction of human capacity. The roots of spiritual knowledge trace back through ancient civilizations and languages, though many have lost this connection. The heart is where God resides; true devotion allows one to feel this divine presence. Spiritual practices like Kriya Yoga and mantra are techniques to access this inner reality. Purity of heart is essential to receive higher knowledge, which comes not by asking but by being a ready vessel. Maintain the eternal altar within your heart.

"O human, eating, drinking, and procreating—animals are also experts in this. What are you doing more than this?"

"In the heart is God."

Filming location: Fiji Islands

Mṛtyormā amṛtam gamaya. Sarveśām svastir bhavatu. Sarveśām śāntir bhavatu. Sarveśām maṅgalam bhavatu. Sarveśām pūrṇam bhavatu. Loka samasthā sukhino bhavantu. Nāhaṁ kartā, prabhuḥ kartā, mahāprabhuḥ kartā, he kevalam. Oṁ Tryambakaṁ Yajāmahe Sugandhiṁ Puṣṭi Vardhanam. Oṁ Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī, Deveśvara Mahādev Kī, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān Kī, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī. Blessed self, all dear ones, human life is a very special life. Just to have a human body, that is not all. One can see and feel that without ethical and spiritual education, it seems humans are losing their human life. Only to have a body and not know the value of this body and this life means one is lost. We have everything in the human body: immense qualities, energies lie dormant—what we call hidden powers in humans. But it needs spiritual education; it needs education with compassion. Sabhi Praṇī Merī Ātmā Hai—all entities are my Ātmā, my Self. And Ātmā Sohī Paramātmā—the Ātmā is that very Paramātmā. The Ātmā is the representative of Paramātmā itself. But this knowledge which is given to the human is tormented. There is no inspiration. I have traveled around the world more than forty times. I visited many different places and many humans, different cultures, different colors, and different beliefs. But it seems that the modern way of living, the modern way of spirituality or belief, or religion, cannot give us the knowledge of the hidden treasures within us. We are too much extroverted, or living just hand-to-mouth, nothing else. You see here on this beautiful island, many people somehow have lost their motivation. Both the immigrants as well as the natives—the concentration is only on what to eat, doing a little work, and sleeping. Khānā, pīnā, bhogānā—Holy Gurujī used to say, our beloved Gurudev used to say one beautiful sentence: Khānā, pīnā, bhogānā, paśubhi parama śūjāna. O human, eating, drinking, and procreating—animals are also experts in this. What are you doing more than this? We are utilizing only 10% of our human quality, of human life. 90% is dormant. There wasn’t any motivation or guidance for these people on the spiritual path. And some people who believe in God in some way have no interest in developing themselves spiritually. The history of the Fijians, the Māori, the Aboriginal people of Australia, even in India, Africa, and Europe, is a branch of India. It is called the Sindhu Valley, the Indus Valley, and that mighty river Sarasvatī. The Sarasvatī River was huge, hundreds of kilometers wide, linked from the Himalayas. Mahāprabhudīp Karatā, Mahāprabhudīp Karatā... Mahāprabhudīp. Because Āryas—Āryas means not in that way which you think of when you remember Mr. Adolf Hitler. At least Hitler kept this word, so you understand. Adras Puruṣa, Adras Human: good quality, humbleness, kindness, spiritual, ethical. Because this message is coming down from the Himalayan roots with the Sarasvatī, and the stream of the Sarasvatī was dividing. The Sindhu Valley, where all these Hindus were living—which was of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and going towards Iran, Iraq—these people immigrated to different parts of the world, and we call them Sindhi. Sindhi families are very spiritual people; they are business people, they are very rich people, and they are very kind people. Many are living in Hong Kong, Bangkok, India, and in other countries. And others who came had a deep connection to the Parsī. And the Persian language is that old language which is coming from Sanskrit, but very close. They worship the light. So, Āryāvarta—that time called Āryāvarta means the land, the whole world, of the Āryas. From their civilization began, and they preserved the spirituality. It was touched in England, Ireland; in very ancient times they were celebrating, worshipping the tattvas, the elements: water, fire, air, earth, sun pūjā—the beautiful Celtic religion. After the Romans developed, they came and slowly, but the roots—the families in the western countries and North India, even connected to South India, were one family, and therefore they had this spiritual education. Now, in the West, they may have lost some way, but not all. They lost, and they got something. After many, many long yugas, just now, about 2,000 years ago, Christianity developed, and then after that, Islam. The roots of Islam develop from what they call the Quran and Mohammed. Muhammad was a Hindu warrior, a Kṣatriya, and he was so spiritual and had great visions of how one should believe in God. And exactly, if you compare, in the Vedas it is the same as in the Quran. The language is different. And the language, unfortunately, creates the conflicts. You can say master, you can say teacher, nobody thinks anything. But nowadays, if you say "guru," my God, "guru"—it’s only a language problem. This is dust in their brain. Such language divides. It was a mahā mantra of the British people. In India, they say the Indian spine is very strong; no one can break it. So they said, "Change the language, and it will break." Then, divide and rule. So the language changed. In the English language, we cannot express those words and that spirituality which you have in Sanskrit. English is a little dialect language of German. Yes, look in the Grantha, and the dialect language of the French, like shepherds—shepherds and cows, who were going with the cows and horses—so French language, German language is very, very old. If you know very good German language, it is beautiful; it touches your heart, because the German language is very close to Sanskrit, very, very close. And especially then Max Müller, he came and the British wanted him to translate the Vedas and Upaniṣads. When he read, he said to the British, "We can’t change the truth of the Vedas as you like." And then he translated, and he learned very good Sanskrit. And the best translation of the Vedas in English is by Max Müller. But they are not available. They are in some libraries, maybe somewhere in Germany or in Chicago, and like this. Because the Germans have been very close to the Vedic culture. So in Europe, there is a more developed spiritual consciousness. In these islands, they had no guide. They are limited by the ocean, nowhere to go and connect to the many countries of Europe. They were under the ice, snow, and glaciers, so you see how slowly, slowly, from Himalayan roots, they... I came, so I’m not a historian. Maybe some historians are listening and say, "What is this Indian talking about?" Excuse me, please, if there’s something not correct. So, what I want to tell is, until there is no spiritual education for humans, humans are just spending time like other creatures. Khānā, pīnā, bhogānā, paśubhī paravaśo jān. Just to eat and live, all creatures are doing. Awake your heart. In the heart is God. Many, how many thousands of years? There was the incarnation of God Rāma. They call it millions. The real Rāma. Because Hanumanjī was—Hanumanjī is 151,000 years old, so it’s a lot. Hanumanjī was a great devotee of Bhagavān Rāma, and Bhagavān Rāma left, but Hanumanjī said, "He is in my heart." So people said, "Everyone can say God is in my heart." Proof, proof if the God Hanumānjī, Rāma and Sītā are in my heart. They said, "Keep quiet. In everyone’s heart is God." He said, "No. In my heart is sitting my Lord." So Hanumanjī opened his chest, and we give one injection here. We said, "Oh, a bhakta doesn’t feel any pain. Where there is joy, where there is love, there is no pain, no discomfort." He opens his chest, and you see inside he is sitting, Rāma and Sītā giving blessings. Chest was bleeding. He opens wide like Dr. Martin is in the operation, you know. He makes an operation; he cuts his ear and expands it. Thanks to God that you are in anesthesia, you know. All the ribs open wide. It’s like a cell. Your cell is opening. So, when he did that again, it was all healed. Then people said, "Hanumanjī, we do believe that in your heart God is there." After many years, according to the Rāmāyaṇa, now you can see also in the Bible that Jesus is opening his holy heart and giving. But this holy heart is the heart of Hanumānjī, Śiva’s heart. So when the real love is there, real bhakti is there, you feel the presence of your God, your beloved. And others, only in your thoughts, in your visions, there are obstacles. Don’t change your altars. Often I said, don’t change the altar in your heart. Sometimes they read a nice book, some write well, and then say, "Oh, that was great," and put it on the altar. Next time you see somebody else, oh, that was Divine Mother, look, given the altar. And, okay, our Swāmijī is always there, we can put that aside. So, altars, don’t change the altars. The altar of your heart is eternal, immortal, everlasting. May the moon and sun change. May the earth turn upside down. My decision, my faith, and my belief will never. That one becomes God himself. Nar se Nārāyaṇa banta hai. So we see beautiful humans. Śrī Śrī... God is very near. The elbow is very near. Similarly, some people think it’s impossible to realize God. But there are techniques to lick the honey from your elbows. Yes. You have to practice yoga in daily life. That posture will come. That day you can taste the honey of immortality. So, your being here, all bhaktas, on this beautiful island, you will leave here a beautiful atmosphere and vibration. We were walking together, me and Mr. Sadā Śivam, and we were talking about this. He said, "Swāmījī, the vibration is different on this spot where we have a tent." Did you say? You must say yes, not move the head. Jai, Jai... Kriyā Yoga, prāṇāyāmas, mantras, many, many techniques of mantra, meditations, satsaṅg, bhajans—and I begin to introduce them to some kind of glimpse of the Sanjīvanī Vidyā. You will read in my book, which I write, how the Sanjīvanī Vidyā Gurujī taught me, and it was very quick. And due to the Gurujī’s blessing, Devpurījī and Mahāprabhujī are taking care all the time. And many times, things happen which can only happen if you know the Sanjīvanī Vidyā. But not opening, utilizing in that open way. Say, look, come buy mangoes, they are good. You can buy this, but mangoes are the sweetest ones. On the day when I talk like this, the Sanjīvanī Vidyā will disappear. So, more or less, through these techniques of yoga in daily life, this kriyā, Cakra Bhedana Kriyā, and comes the Swar Vidyā, Swar Yoga, which is given by Śiva to Pārvatī, Śiva Sarodhā Vidyā. And something Gurujī gave me, and one person who was a very close disciple of Gurujī, and he was very kind to me, was living in Mumbai. He is from a family, a teller family, and he is the one who inspired... I am 85% sure that I should become a sādhu, a sanyāsī, because what you have, Swāmījī, what Gurujī gave you all, it is so much. If you do not take this step, all will be lost. And he knew the Svarvidyā from all the Bhaktas of Mahāprabhujī. Two knew Sanjīvanī Vidyā through the Svara Vidyā Yoga. One was Pukrajī Darjī, Teller, Mumāī, Nirvāṇīpāl, and Gurujī. Whatever Gurujī did, he was taking care of his swara, which nostrils should flow. Chandra, Surya, or Saraswatī, and there are different nāḍīs for Swara Yoga to utilize. I tried to teach them four years ago, four or five years ago, in Strilky Ashram in the Czech Republic. People didn’t understand; this is too complicated. I said, nothing is easy, everything is complicated, but when you know once, the knowledge will work for you. That time you will see your prāṇa, and you can see your death, or you can see something that will be. But this you can’t, everyone cannot get, only those bhaktas can. Get those souls which are very pure, completely white, that are ready to get any color. As pure you are, that is the risk you have. On the beautiful, clean, one-color cloth, spots can come very easily. And when this one spot is there, then you are not a Nirañjan. So Nirakāra, then you have no form, though you are, but you are so transparent. I saw jellyfish today while snorkeling, like a beautiful overturned katorī, a beautiful cup. Yeah, and they are going like this. I say to Umāpurī, let’s go. I don’t want these acupressure techniques stuck here on the different chakras. So, transparent. As you develop higher spiritually, you have to be more careful. I have an orange dress, and for breakfast, if a little sabjī is stuck here, you will not see my whole shirt. You will not see my whole shirt. You see only this something hanging on my beard or on my this. And you can’t digest, you can’t resist, or a rice is hanging in my beard. Everybody says, "Swamiji," I say, "What do you mean? You are tickling me. Stop it." When you get to this spot, then Sanjīvanī Vidyā is diversifying. So, the bhaktas will get it automatically. You need not ask, I cannot give, because I can give from my heart to transfer, but further, the receiver is not there. Understand? Therefore, Bhakti, spiritual sādhanā, Khaṇḍe Kī Dhārā is like the sharpness of a knife. There, you have to work on it. So, I hope you will get it. You are learning, and I am teaching you. Three years ago, I already taught one very nice Vidyā of the Nabhi Kamal, from which Devpurījī also gave. And we designed some pictures, but people gave up. And four years ago, or three years, in the New Zealand island and Mumbapurī, we were in a beautiful bungalow on the beach side from Wellington. And Devpurījī, in the night, came and gave me this one beautiful kriyā, beautiful. It was new for me. It awoke in my consciousness something that I knew. We collected all the materials. About twenty people were ready to do it. I gave them that: you must promise yourself that you will practice. Many give up, and many are doing. Their experience is so beautiful. The experience is sometimes what they are explaining; it awakens my memory from past, past times. They are doing it in Wellington, Oakland; there are a few bhaktas. Every Thursday they are doing a beautiful ceremony. That will lead them to the Sanjīvanī Vidyā. Because Amṛtā, the source of the Amṛtā, is in the navel. That’s it. From Bindu to the navel. When the navel from here is damaged, you are gone. When Śrī Rāma, Bhagavān Rāma, and they were there on the battlefield, finally Rāvaṇa came, but nobody could kill him. Ten times his head was cut away, again it came on his neck, and he was laughing, "Rām, who are you? Come." After sunset, there were rules that nobody should fight. So Vibhīṣaṇa, the brother of Rāvaṇa—only Vibhīṣaṇa was the Devapuruṣa, otherwise all Rākṣasas. So Vibhīṣaṇa said to God Rām, Bhagavān Rām, please don’t waste the time. You know your Vidyā, your Māyā. But if this night is gone, it will be impossible to win the advantage. Bhagavān Rām, the immortal words given by Śiva and by Brahmā are in his navel, and so Rām targeted his arrow on the navel. At that time, Rāvaṇa said, "Śrī Rām"—otherwise he never said Śrī Rām, always Rāma. This, that it was shouting on him, he realized, "Śrī Rām, only you could give me the mokṣa. Many, many lives I spent in ignorance like an asura. No, no sense of eating, drinking, sleeping, or doing. You make me, give me liberation." And for him, Rāma incarnated. Sanjīvanī Vidyā, my dear, is a blessing of the Gurudev. Anytime can come to you, but you have to be ready at that spot. Never let any spot come on your citta vṛttis—nirākāra, nirañjan. Nirañjan: rañj is a spot, ni means no—spotless. So you are coming here, you experience a beautiful island, water, and very old, old, old mountains, billions of years maybe. But the karmas that have been here for the last five days, what I am reaching with vibration is different. But Devpuruṣa has come. Devpuruṣa has come and is changing. So, your being here, you are pure vegetarians, positive, good. Everybody has some kind of problems. That’s why you are still living. It gives us life. But I am very happy that you came here. And I’m also very happy and thankful to Sadāśivam, Reddy. His short name they made him Sada, but Sada also means simple. Sada, one word, Sada means Sada Jīvan Uch Bichārā: simple living and higher thinking. And Sadāśivam is Avar Śivam, Avar Śiva, beautiful name. His roots are from South India, very spiritual families, very. But destiny is like this. Many generations before, they had no chance to go back. It was too long a journey, so they were lost. After two or three generations, you are lost. You don’t remember the name of your fifth great-great-grandfather, so he is a spiritual soul. This has opened another vision in his life, and has opened another treasure of that spirituality. I think he is surprised that it can be like this. When you go to the ocean and see the reefs and the corals, oh my God, how many colors. Then you see the beauty of the ocean. Only looking like this, we say, "Oh, how nice, ocean." But when you go deep and see the beauties more and more, go in your heart. An endless ocean of love is in your heart. And all colorful beauties are there. So, thank you for coming and enjoy. You still have 24 hours. After 24 hours, we will say blessings to Fiji and hello to your home countries. And thank you, ladies. Thank you for your families, and we pray for good health. And good education for your grandson. Oh, he likes me. When he came, he just came and sat on my lap. He’s so beautiful, such a nice boy. And I pray for his bright future. So, my dear Sanjīvanī Vidyā, yes, yes, we will see. Wait and see. Oṁ Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jaya, Śrī Devpurīṣa Mahādeva Kī Jaya, Dharma Samrāṭ Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān Kī Jaya, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jaya. Our webcast will be next from Australia. We don’t know when and how we will manage technically. Thank you, and especially I thank our dear Govind Purī from Slovakia, married in Croatia, living in England, and meditating in Fiji, making webcasting in Fiji. And also Umāpurī, she did great work, very great. Learned everything about how to make a webcast and all other helpers, thank you. Wish you a very good, safe journey, and say hello and much love to all in the countries you came from. Today’s program will all go as normal. Don’t think that you will go swimming again. No. Nirāmaya, Sarvibhadrāṇī Paśyanto, Makacāḍukābhāgavet, Oṁ Śānti, Śānti... Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Devādideva, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Kī Jaya.
