Chakra Meditation (2/2)

The Kuṇḍalinī is the bundle of past karmas and destiny, controlled by the cosmic Śakti within all. Its seat is the Mūlādhāra Cakra at the spine's base. Purification dissolves negative energies like light dispels darkness. Physical impurities are temporary, but mental waves create complications. The practice involves specific postures and breath-aware contraction of the perineum, known as Aśvinī Mudrā. This generates an ascending energy, harmonizing the gland systems and consciousness. Self-realization transcends the intellect's conflicts, resulting in pure, humble consciousness. Human mistakes carry greater weight due to endowed consciousness. The continuity of mastery is the Sanātana Dharma paramparā.

"The Kuṇḍalinī is that bundle of all our karmas from the past, our destiny."

"Physical impurity is not difficult to purify and will not follow us into the next life."

Śrī Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān kī jai. Śrī Śrī Deveśwar Mahādev kī jai. All dear ones, blessings to you in the name of the Alak Purījī Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā. We continue our meditations on the chakras and the awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī. This series of meditation belongs to the self-inquiry of yoga and daily life. Adjust yourself comfortably so you feel no discomfort during the practice. Be at ease. You may repeat your mantra with your mālā and simply be one with thyself. Sit straight upright, follow my words, and practice mentally. If you feel discomfort, feel free to change your posture, but do not disturb others. Do not touch the body of others. If you have forgotten to silence your telephone, please be kind and do so now. Gently close your eyes and withdraw thyself from the external world. Be one with thyself in this hall. The whole day has passed; you have worked hard mentally and physically. Now it is time to relax—physically, mentally, and inwardly. The Kuṇḍalinī is that bundle of all our karmas from the past, our destiny. Within it, everything is balanced and harmonized so perfectly that our everyday life is not overly influenced. That is the control of the Divine Mother, the cosmic energy, and that is your Kuṇḍalinī. That cosmic light or Śakti is one in everyone, but karma and destiny are different. As humans, we have different consciousness, yet we also have our weaknesses, which we demonstrate through kāma, krodha, lobha, moha, and ahaṁkāra. No one knows this but you. No one can interfere on your spiritual path to clean the impurities. Only you can, through Guru Kṛpā and mantra. Relax and be one with thyself. The kriyā we will do, the technique we will practice, will help you purify those negative energies. What does it mean to purify? It is like light dissolving darkness. That light alone can influence the Mūlādhāra Cakra. Let the words, the voice of the Master purify. Let this Jīvātmā surrender and listen. The seat of the Kuṇḍalinī is at the Mūlādhāra Cakra, at the end of the spine. It is so tiny, smaller than the seed of a banyan tree. A huge banyan tree is hidden in this very tiny seed. Similarly, "past life" means from this minute onwards in the past. In this life and past lives, consider how many beautiful divine waves and lights you have created for thyself, or how many impurities—not only physical. Physical impurity is not difficult to purify and will not follow us into the next life. But the waves, the thoughts, the desires change. Each change brings mountains of complications for your body, mind, and consciousness. The main postures for awakening or activating the Kuṇḍalinī are four dynamic postures: first, Śaśāṅkāsana; second, Śalabhāsana; third, Dhanurāsana; and fourth, Paścimottānāsana. Before beginning to practice Cakra Śodhana, the purification of the cakra, these postures should be performed to activate the energy of the Kuṇḍalinī. Relax and feel the whole body. Imagine and feel your entire spinal column. The spinal column is the pillar of the whole building. If this pillar breaks, the whole building collapses. The mental, emotional, physical, conscious, and spiritual aspects are all balanced by the spinal column, ending at the bottom. Iḍā, Piṅgalā, Suṣumnā—three nāḍīs join or complete at the end of the spine, about one centimeter or half a centimeter down, in the astral form, not the physical. There, as energy, the Kuṇḍalinī resides. Yesterday we spoke more about the Mūlādhāra. For the rest, you should read in your "Hidden Powers in Humans" book. Listen carefully to the technique. You know that you are inhaling, and you know that you are exhaling. Let your breath be relaxed. Do not change the rhythm of the breath. Let it flow as naturally as it is. Yes, I know that I inhale prāṇa. I know that I exhale apāna. With inhalation, cosmic energy or light flows into the body. With exhalation, all kinds of pollution, impurities, and toxins leave. At the time of inhalation, slightly contract your anal muscle and then relax. At the end of the inhalation and before the beginning of the exhalation, again contract the anus, and then exhale. Contract and relax. This is perhaps half a second, maximum one second. The contraction and relaxation of the perineum muscles is now very fine. When we contract the muscles, you feel energy through the spine like electricity. When you relax, that energy flows again, ascending and descending. This is Kuṇḍalinī Śakti, power, energy. At the end of the inhalation and before the beginning of the exhalation, again contract and relax. Do not hold. Only the action: contraction and relaxation. It is like lightning in clouds. Now do it very cautiously, with concentration, five times. Do not hold the breath. Do not hold the contraction. Just let it move freely and naturally with each contraction and relaxation. The light that is produced comes from that gland called the Kuṇḍalinī. Each time, this lightning penetrates through the karma. Be sure this divine Śakti, which is controlled by Guru Kṛpā, will purify our consciousness and our soul's heaviness of negative energy. Now, breathe normally. Imagine a beautiful cave or a beach, early morning, dark in some winter, and suddenly the dawn rises—fire. The whole sky is dark orange fire. When you look down on this dawn, it is red. That is Śakti. From this awakening and rising of the dawn, the yogī is developed so that he sees the orange uniform. A sādhaka, a practitioner, a sanyāsī, or a yogī carefully, with great devotion, adores and respects the orange robe. It will continuously purify negative energy; or, if you do negative deeds, this fire will burn you. You will remain nowhere. You are standing or sitting near this fire, yet very happy. Finally, joy appears in the heart. From this fire, that energy is rising up. Again, five times: contraction and relaxation of the perineum muscle, ascending and descending energy through the spine. At the time of inhalation, contract and relax. At the time of exhalation, contract and relax. This Aśvinī Mudrā technique will improve immunity in the body, solve many physical problems, balance thoughts, and harmonize body, mind, and soul. Divine Śakti, Aśvinī Mudrā, and the light of the Kuṇḍalinī. Again, enter into that cave, look from above into the deep hold of fire. It gives you a feeling of divine pleasure. It will help us solve physical problems. It will harmonize all the organs of the body—what we call in the modern world, "updating." Relax. And now, again, come to the kriyā: contracting and relaxing the muscle. Ascending and descending awareness from the Mūlādhāra up to the Sahasrāra Cakra at the top of the head, and again back to the Mūlādhāra Cakra. Observe again from above the fire and the deep hole. You receive only pure light. It is as if everything is purifying. Relax. This kriyā will harmonize all the gland systems, especially the pancreas, the thyroid, and the heart rhythm. The Mūlādhāra is connected to the solar plexus, and in our next meditation we will approach that place. There are waves, and this Kuṇḍalinī awakening will help our brain centers. It is a beautiful kriyā. Relax. Imagine thyself in this light of the fire, round and round. This is the fire of thyself. You can burn everything. It has positive and negative aspects, but we concentrate on the positive. Relax. Feel thyself comfortable. This develops self-confidence. Gurudev, śaraṇ tumārī, cintā merī mitā do. Gurudev, I seek shelter at thy holy lotus feet. Remove my worries. Mahāprabhujī, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Mādhava Kṛṣṇa. Develop self-confidence and fearlessness. No worries. Surrender to the Divine Mother Kuṇḍalinī. This kriyā, what you might call temporary, is a glimpse of awakening called Śaktipāt. Develop that love in your heart—love of the father and mother, the master and mother—and bless the world by chanting Oṃ three times. Inhale deeply. Oṁ Dev, Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī, Devādidev, Deveśvar Mahādev Kī, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān Kī, Satyasanātan Dharma Kī. Slowly rub your palms together, place your hands and palms on your face, gently massage your eyelids, and open your eyes. Bend forward, touch your hands on the ground, touch your forehead on the ground if you can. Feel the stretching and relaxing of the spinal column, stretching and relaxing the muscles. Feel the energy of Mother Earth. Feel the circulation, especially the good circulation towards the head and facial muscles. Through this posture, our jñānendriyas are nourished. Slowly, with the help of your hands, come back up. You may change your position. The Maṇipūra Cakra is between the animal kingdom and the human. The negative energy—that is karma, those kinds of waves, the negative layers which we have a lot of within us—if we cannot purify it, will direct this human consciousness and soul back towards the animal kingdom. If we practice one thing, everything is one. If we did not know, we did many things. But when we evoke and follow that one path, that one thing, it will direct consciousness towards a higher level, to the higher planets. That is called the Brahman or Śivaloka. This is the last milestone. In human lives also, many times good and bad happen. We live in this material body, and there are all kinds of energies. Many things happen, good and bad. But the most terrible tragedies will happen if a human dies without self-realization. We cannot achieve self-realization with any money, power, or any kind of studies in this material world. Only that one thing: create that love in the oneness to move all the layers and layers and layers. Look in the garbage bin. How many are there? So, though we are human, our body has a lot of impurities and a lot of purity. Different bodies: physical body, mental body, subtle body. Therefore, these practices, whether you believe or not, are that science which only scientists can understand. So only spiritual science can understand that master—the consciousness, the level of consciousness, and that kind of intellect which only the master has, not others. It is said that when you come towards self-realization, all your negative energy is gone and you become only pure. That is what we call the intellect. The intellect has many, many conflicts, fightings: "How can I do better?" But the self-realized one is like an innocent, like a fresh-born baby. It is pure, clean consciousness. At that time, spiritual development makes you more humble, more kind. What we call Śiva, one of His names is Bholenāth, the innocent. But He is not as you might think; He is not stupid. It is great, clear, and divine. That can illuminate what we call the inner lightning, enlightenment. Siddhartha, Prince Siddhartha, was at that time what we call Āryas or Hindus, Sanātana Dharma. But when he got enlightenment—"buddhi" means intellect—so when that was enlightened, then it was called Bodha. Now it had that knowledge of the Brahman. Nothing else was there then, and that is why they called him the Buddha. The life of the Buddha was very pure. He did not want to hurt even a little ant. Very pure, not eating any meat and so on. But now, so-called Buddhists often do not follow what Buddha did. Buddha became an emblem, a rubber stamp. All religion becomes a rubber stamp. People do what they want, and that is why they are suffering. Therefore, Sanātana Dharma means the paramparā, master after master. The master, the disciple becomes master, the disciple. This is the continuity, the cycle of the master and disciple's dynasty. It will be, it was, and it is. So, I wish you all the best. Tomorrow we will touch upon the Svādhiṣṭhāna. We will come. Many negative qualities are in the Svādhiṣṭhāna as well as the Mūlādhāra, and many beautiful, more spiritual qualities are there too. But our weakness always leads us to the negative—maybe not all, but then we create more layers. If a human makes a mistake, more will be counted. Animal mistakes will not be counted like that; maybe 1%. But for the human, it will be counted as 1000%. Because God gave the consciousness and intellect to think, and God gave everything to humans. Now, humans should know how to guide and how to control. I wish you all the best. A very nice good evening and blessings of Oṁ Śrī Alak Purījī Siddhāpīṭ Paramparā. To all my dear brothers, sisters, and bhaktas around the world, blessings to you. I will see you tomorrow. Oṁ Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. We will all chant something, okay? We will all chant something. Sit comfortably. When you chant this mantra, the Kuṇḍalinī is just nothing. We will have that big joy, and you will feel that you are sitting in the whole universe, a globe, and you are inside it. This is the power of that mantra. These are three names of Śiva, and you will chant after me, with me. When you know it by heart, you will chant it with me. Satyam. Śivam sundaram. Satya Śiva sundara. Satya Śiva sundara. ... Satya. Śiva, sundara, continue. Satyam, go ahead. Truth, Śiva, beauty. Satya, truth, Śiva, beauty. Truth. Śiva. Beauty. Śundara satyam śiva, śundara satyam śiva, satyam śiva, satyam śiva, sun namaḥ śiva, oṁ namaḥ śivāḥ. How do you open it?
