The Destiny

Our body is a divine energy system of chakras, and destiny is recorded within it. Chakras are energy centers connecting consciousness, space, and energy. The body is an indescribable creation; it transforms food into life in a way no machine can. Our destiny is the fruit of past actions, recorded in our energy field like an unerasable line on stone. We cannot delete it, but through spiritual practice, we can rise above it. The Ājñā Chakra, or third eye, when opened, grants vision of past, present, and future. Negative energies—Kāma, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Ahaṅkāra—arise from the lower chakras and bind us. These must be replaced with positive qualities: Tyāga, Vairāgya, Bhakti, Jñāna, and Viveka. A practice like Pañcāmṛta—a mixture of milk, yogurt, butter, honey, and pure water—used in worship, can help purify energy and balance the chakras. Following a master's guidance can help monitor and navigate destiny, though not erase it. The aim is to realize the oneness of all consciousness.

"Destiny is a line on the stone. We can't delete it."

"When we realize the oneness, then there is no difference between God and us, because it's the same energy, the same space."

Good evening, dear sisters and brothers. Welcome to the workshop about chakras, which I spoke of before. It is a subject which requires one or two years to truly know. Each chakra has immense potentialities. First, to understand, and then to work on those energy centers. Chakras, you can say, are energy centers. You see on the wall different pictures. This is a mythological painting. According to ancient wisdom and science, they placed there those symbols which have their meaning. You see that every creature, every plant, every stone, every grain of sand, and every bone, nerve, muscle, ligament, organ, and every tissue in our body also has immense vitalities—that which we call life. It is to understand what God means, for example. God is not only what we see, some incarnation or manifestation. Every tissue in our body is God. Every quality that is coming is giving us strength. I was last weekend, or the last few days, in Trinidad and Tobago with the High Commissioner of India. We had some talk, and he told me that we all speak about science and technology and many things, but still we have not reached or achieved what God could create. He gave one example: whatever we eat, maybe some fruits, or the rice, or the bread, or the juice, etc., this body—whether it is a human's body or an animal's body, or this system that God has created—changes it into hormones, blood, bones, muscles, etc. Till now, there is no machine where we can put bread inside and it will produce the blood and hormones and this and that. So our body is indescribable. It is only and only what God can do; we cannot. Our whole body is energy. Everything is energy. There is space, energy, and consciousness. These are three. So between consciousness and space is the energy which balances, harmonizes, and keeps oneness, meaning it unites. That is a yoga union. So what functions in our body is the function between consciousness, space, and energy. You may know definitely, or many may not know, the most ancient or the first scriptures are written; they call them the Vedas. In previous ages before, it was spoken from master to disciple. The master would give blessing or knowledge to the disciple. They had to learn and know by heart everything and then give it further. That's what we call śrotas, śrotriya, and the speaker and the listeners. That was slowly, slowly getting lost. Human memory became less and less. Their memories and our memories are a great difference. We know only 3% of what they had memories of at that time. The Vedas do not describe what God is, because God is only one, that is a universal one. The rest is what we call the incarnated or holy person. For example, the five elements: space, air, fire, water, and earth. These five elements have created our body. And each element is energy, different kinds of energy. The trees, the herbs, the plants—we don't know, but they have immense energy and are good for many, many things. But we should know. We cannot grow a plastic plant, which will grow and give blossoms and nice fruits and so on. So, see the creation in the creation. We put one seed of the apple, and it will become the same kind of apple on the tree. Similarly, in our body there are many, many functions and hidden energy within that, hidden abilities, qualities, etc. We have spoken many times about the chakras. I will not again repeat how they were developed. But one thing is that it is very hard to understand destiny. Every one of us has our destiny. Every creature has its destiny. Every plant has its destiny. Every river has its destiny, and we cannot change the destiny. So the destiny is welcome. Munce baat hoi, toh karlo na. So, invite him here. One asks a question: if we are human, while animals don't know they cannot change their destiny and have to go through it, but if we are human and we have so much knowledge, why can't we change our destiny? This is number one. Number two, if we believe in God and if we pray, why doesn't our destiny change? Then for what are we doing now? The destiny is the result or the fruits of our actions, whatever we will do. Everything is recorded in our own energy field, that is in our phenomenon. That's like a vibration, that energy, and it is that energy which is guiding us in the directions. So, how or in which way can we change our destiny or not? Definitely, you know. There is one story from old times, in Greece. There was a son of the king. He was born, and they were consulting with astrologers, and there were some people who could see the future, could see what will be. Maybe some of you know this, everything that you are. That one great one, you can see all futures, yes? If you can see everything transparently, then you can advise or tell what to do. So the prophet said, "The child is very good, very healthy, everything is good." But the one thing is not good. Say what? That he will marry his mother. Well, the king said, "Then kill him or throw him somewhere in the mountains; the bushes, trees, or animals will eat him." So they did. They took the child, and the soldiers who took him did not kill him. They couldn't, but they went into the forest and into the bushes. They dropped him somewhere and said, "Now we have to do it, because the order further is your destiny." A shepherd found him. A shepherd found him and let him grow. He was with him, and someone told him this word that he would marry his mother. He didn't know who his mother was or where she was. So he was very sad about that, and he wanted to avoid this destiny. So he went, and he was turning with closed eyes, round and round, and then when he stopped, he walked in that direction. He walked 50 kilometers, or this again, and then again he was turning. Only his wish was that it should not happen. But unfortunately, the time came, there was a fight and war, and like this, and that queen, she married that young boy soldier, that man. And he found it was after his mother's. So, you know, who was it in Greece? The name? Akto Adams. Now he tried very hard, but destiny led him there. Now, how to change the destiny? Destiny is a line on the stone. We can't delete it. So, the science of chakras, the science of the centers, the energy centers in the body, it is that kind of energy, dormant, which is involved in all the destinies from past lives, whether we believe it or not, but it is. Our past life is exactly like this life. We know from our childhood till now, whatever we did, good or bad, we will get it. So death is not a big thing. It's just like we change our dress in the evening, and the next morning we take a new one. You will not cry. You will not shudder. You will take your dress and put it in the washing machine. But you have a new one now. So this individual soul, we are all individuals. In divine consciousness, we call the ātmā, we are one. You and I, we are all one. There is no difference. But as individual souls, we are individuals. So the aim of yoga is to realize the oneness. When we realize the oneness, then there is no difference between God and us, because it's the same energy, the same space. As long as there's a form, we are separate. And so each chakra represents a certain level of our consciousness. A certain level of different kinds of energy. Some energy is supportive, some energy is destructive, and both we have. We can't hide, and we can't make an operation and cut off this one chakra. One thinks, "When I will have an operation, maybe my kuṇḍalinī is already cut off and no more kuṇḍalinī is there." Energy we cannot cut. It's like space. Take the seizure and cut the space, and look if there is any division there. No, nothing is divided. It's always the same. So if you turn left, right, back, or forward, it has the same thing. And there is our destiny. We don't understand why it happened. And the time will come that what you wish will happen. Someone will come to help you, but it will happen. It is sure. It is written in your kismet. And all our destinies, in our kismet, what is written is here, in the forehead here. So, you know, when we make a mistake, we say, "Oh God, why do you put me here?" Why wouldn't you say, "Oh, God"? So here is everything, layer after layer, in many, many lives. And there is the chakra, which is called the Ājñā Chakra, the third eye. When this darkness, this dark energy, the layer is removed, then the divine vision opens. That we call Trikāl Darśī, the knower of three times: past, present, and future. As long as we sit in this room, in this hall, we can see only through the window or the door. But if we go on the roof, we see everything, all directions. But there are some directions which we don't see down on the earth, below the earth. But there is a glass ball. We are inside, and we go up. Then we see every direction: below, above, behind, front, left, and right. That is called Trikāl Darśī. So, have that vision, that eye, what we call the eagle eye. Eagle eye sees very wide, or fish eye. It sees everything very round. So, Trikāldarśīs, certain practices and blessings of the Master—we call Guru, you call Baha—that can help to monitor our destiny. We will not remove the destiny, because destiny is something, what you call, the evidence will never die. Evidence will always remain in the space, like what you have now. Everything is in the computer; everything is stored. This is what the computer is doing. That is the science of that cosmic energy which remains ever and ever, so we can't get free. But when we are above that, enlightened, we are lighted, we have your light, but we are not enlightened. Enlightenment means now we are above the dark clouds. Take off the aeroplane, it's cloudy, very heavy clouds, and it goes. The pilot doesn't see anything, blind flying. But then it comes above the clouds, and all say, "Thank you, now at least we are in the clear vision." So this is our, so the master cannot just root it out, but he can give—he or she, she can be a master also, he can be a master. In spirituality and in the knowledge and in the consciousness and in the ātmā, there is no gender duality. It is equal. So either you are what we call he or she, male or female, this is only a physical difference, but in reality, in the light, in the ātmā, in the God Consciousness, it is the same. You can be that divine, and there have been many, many divine female holy saints. Even we call the Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva. You know Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva? The creator, the protector, and the liberator. They adore the divine Śakti, the divine mother, so there are no dualities. So, the destiny. So, everything in our body, there are many, many chakras, many, many. And there are 72,000 nerve systems, and there are many different glands. And we don't know about our body. The anatomy and doctors, they know some percentage, but still they did not discover that kind of energy, the kind of abilities in our body. No doubt modern technology has made a lot of development or progress, but still we don't understand how this is functioning. And if we can take something and make the form like this and put it inside milk, the milk will come out again as milk, nothing else, and we will have the milk. Many, many things will develop in our body. So, this chakra, the Ājñā chakra—we should have spoken about Mūlādhāra, but I'm talking, for the last one month constantly, every evening, the same thing, and because every day different people are coming, and I can't proceed. Actually, one has to begin from the kindergarten, the nursery school to the university, but of course I respect you, and I don't have any doubts in it that you know this and that. But maybe you don't know still about chakras, and so it's good to know from the beginning. For that, I would advise you to read this book, our book called Hidden Powers in Humans. It's in very simple language and written very, very well about the cakras. Then you will understand what is there. So, what a master or a trikāldarśī—how he or she can change our destiny? There, I have one nice story. Would you like to listen to a nice story? Yeah, that's a very good story. Everyone likes it very much. Now, I've forgotten which story. So, which story was it? Well, there are many of you the same. This story I want to tell you: there was a little village, and there was a drought for about five years. No rain, and people poor, and no job, and poor. So they were two brothers, we call them warriors, the Rajput Kṣatriyas. Both brothers, they loved each other so much that one brother would not eat until the other brother came, and they would sit and eat from one plate. So much love from brother, and that should be. That keeps our family, a joint family. One day they decided we should go to some big village or big city to earn some money. So both brothers, they decided to go. So they took one camel. They were riding on a camel, and they took some kind of food with them for a few days, traveling already for one week. They were riding on camelback through the desert, little bush land. There were no highways at that time. It was all organic. No question of unorganic food. So they were going on one path, and in front came one monk. We call a sādhu or a swami, and he saw on the camel two brothers, beautiful young men. Both of them had a weapon, and the sādhu said, "Stop, stop... My children, stop," they said. Yes, pranām Mahārāj jī, Swāmījī, what can we do for you? The sādhu said, don't go on this path, change your way. They said, why? Because there is sitting one ghost, and the ghost will kill you both, brothers. They looked to each other and said, "Ghosts have no power. We are stronger than him, and we both have guns. So, Swāmījī, don't worry. Thank you, but we will go." He said, "Please don't go. I tell you, the ghost will kill you. I would like to save you." Your life, they didn't believe. They said, "Thank you, with your blessings we are going, and nothing will happen." The sādhu went, and he was saying, "Oh God, such a beautiful young man. I'm sorry for that." After five kilometers, what did they see? Left side, near the path, a heap of gold, the golden chocolate, or what you call it. And he said, "Oh, this clever sādhu! He went to get some transport. So much gold here, and that's why he didn't want that we go on this path. We should change." But, brother, now belongs to us this gold. If a sādhu comes, we have the gun in hand. They stopped the camel. They got off, both brothers looking at each other and the gold, gold in front of the temple when the people were dealing with the gold. Then Jesus told that, "Do not believe in this gold. It is not a reality. God, God is not a God." I tell you what is God. Come and listen to me. But they did not follow Jesus. They loved God. Both brothers are sitting very happy, very happy. Had nothing to eat. They were hungry. For 24 hours or 2 days, I did not eat anything. Elderly brother tells his youngest brother, Brother, take the camel and go search. There must be some village. Bring some food. We are hungry for food and water, and we will eat, and then we will load the gold on the back of the camel. So one brother went, the youngest one, he found some restaurant or something. He sits there and asks them to give some food, to prepare some food. What you call in America now, take away. So this take-away system began from that time. He was so hungry, he said, "Please give me one chapati, one roti before that." So he ate. But he was thinking of the gold. He was eating, sitting, drinking, but in his vision was only gold. Now he is thinking, if this were all gold I would own, then I would be like a king. But I have to divide it with my brother, and it will be half and half. What to do? Sitting and thinking and thinking. And then he is thinking now. One has to die sooner or later. It doesn't matter, father, mother, or brother. Now, destiny, the greed, changes our whole thoughts. Now the negative energy from the Mūlādhāra and Svādhiṣṭhāna is awakening and making your Agñyā Chakra completely grey. You are blinded, you are blind. He said, "Is there some shop, chemistry?" And they said, "Yes, there is one small shop." He went there and bought the poison. And he mixed in some food. That brother will eat, and he will die. I will owe all the gold. So he bought the poison and put it in the food, which he would serve first to his brother. The elderly brother, who loves his brother so much, like a father, and he was thinking the same thing. If I have this old gold, boom, I will be the king of the whole area, but I have to divide it with my brother. But sooner or later, one has to die. Same thought. Telepathy. Negative telepathy, positive telepathy, but energy is moving, so whatever you think is going like waves, and Trikāl Darśī can see and feel what you are doing, where you are. So, when you do the karma, the action, then you already feel guilt. So, when you feel the guilt, then you are thinking of that subject. Or the person that this person should not know. He should be in darkness. What I do, I am clever, I will do. You try to hide, but you cannot. Energy is going through. This is a karma. What can we do? Mistakes. So the elder brother is thinking, well, my brother will come without any negative thought. He is not prepared. He will come, brother, and I have my gun. I will just shoot at him. And I will give some gold to his wife so that she can leave that. Well, he was prepared, put the bullets in the gun. The other brother had already eaten. So he came, and the camel was sitting down, and he got off, took his food with him, walking towards the brother, and the brother shot him. He fell down and died. The elder brother was crying, hugging him, "My brother, my brother." I couldn't do anything. I'm stupid. I was greedy and like this. Now he's thinking, "Before I load the gold on a camel, I'm hungry, I should eat." So he said, looking at the gold, the dead body of the brother; on one side he is sad, on the other side he is happy. This is a life of coming and going; one has to die sooner or later. Brother, I will make for you a nice grave, so he began to eat. While he was eating, he said, "Oh, I'm tired." Oh, brother. Fall down, and you died. Both died. The camel is looking. He's standing up and going to graze on some tree branches. Both died. Gold is there, and the sādhu came back. He was going to his hut where he was living. He saw, oh my God. I told them, I told them, don't go on this path. This ghost will kill you. So this is a ghost, and it killed them. And still, this ghost is here. So this is called greed, a hidden desire. When you hide, you cannot hide. But Trikāldarśī, if you would have listened to the master's words, then this destiny could have been changed. It was in their destiny to die like this, but if they would have followed the words of the master to change the path, they could have changed this destiny and been happy and come back to a life at home. So these kinds of destinies, which we have sometimes, we can't change. At that time, we don't follow the words of some wise people or the advice of our parents or good ones. Please don't do this. But sometimes we are blind and say, "What do you think?" Doesn't matter if even I have to give my life, I will go and do it. That again, Mūlādhāra and Svādhiṣṭhāna Chakra, they force you to be like that and do it, but then this is the energy, the karma, which will again put you into the darkness. So when we do some spiritual work, when we change the food qualities and go to the good people and to go to your master—everyone has a master, or who doesn't have a master, you should have some master and then follow the instructions. Sometimes we are like little children. The children are like what we call teenagers.
