Finer aspects of non-violence
Our actions, even with good intent, cause subtle, unseen harm to the living Earth, requiring deeper awareness.
We cannot act perfectly; we unknowingly injure creatures like ants. They have their own world, medicine, and dances we cannot perceive. Our physical senses limit us; we lack the inner eye to hear their complaints. This is subtle violence, present even in walking on grass or in silence meant to hurt. True nonviolence extends to all life. Our planet is a living being, a compact of prāṇa, connected to all consciousness. A realized yogī can witness thousands of solar systems through this prāṇa. Everything is life and energy. Therefore, we must use mantra and mālā in meditation to stay on the right path, leading to automatic awareness. We must replace bad karma with good deeds for other beings, valuing this life.
"Violence is subtle violence, which we cannot think, see, or feel."
"This earth is a living earth... That is prāṇa. That is life. So there is nothing but only life."
