Recharging the spiritual energy

You are in the aura of Śiva consciousness, a divine vibration filling your thoughts and body, making you Śivamaya. Many worldly problems vanish here in this experience of the Self, ānanda-svarūpa. Avoid the company of those entangled in temporary, conflicted worldly pursuits; this is kusanga. Their polluted minds will affect you. Associate only with truly spiritual beings; be light so darkness cannot approach. Self-knowledge is essential. Do not mistake this temporary state for permanent attainment; old conflicts may return upon leaving. A wise person does not ask questions from ignorance but knows the answer. The story illustrates seeking a worthy match: an educated princess tests suitors until finding a simple shepherd who reveals profound wisdom. Their union, after a test involving a cat and a mouse, leads to his spiritual awakening as the great poet Kālidāsa. Ujjain is a sacred city where liberation is possible.

"Be light. Be the light, so the darkness will not come near."

"A wise one will never put a question, because the wise is wise."

Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

We are in the vibration, in the energy of Śiva consciousness. The divine blessing is definitely flowing through us. This is called the aura. When you decided to come here and were happy—thinking, "We are going, we will see Swāmījī"—your awareness was constantly reminding you of your main aim and destination. All the way you were talking about Śivarātri, Swāmījī, friends, programs, and Strelky. Through this, a spiritual vibration was present within your consciousness. When you enter this place, you become that divine being yourself. You become Śiva Saurūpa—the embodiment of Śiva—because in your thoughts, feelings, body, and vibration, everything is filled with the divine time of Śivarātri. That is the aura. When you go to a pilgrimage place, you become the pilgrim yourself. So here, you are called Śivamaya. Many problems disappear. At home, there are many conditions, but here many things vanish. In Ātmā Anubhūti, you have the feeling and experience of the ātmā, which is called ānanda-svarūpa. Svarūpa means 'form,' so we become ānanda: Ānandoham, ānandoham, ānandam, brahmanandam. This is how we come to our program, a retreat, which means to recharge our spiritual energies. It is very important that we concentrate and take care of people who do not have a high position or much money. Some turn towards politics. And you know politics? The person doesn’t have a permanent job; it’s temporary. Next election, where will they be? You are stuck in traffic. So it is temporary. Therefore it is said: sabdhīn hotāne kāśāvan—every day is not equal. And sabdhīn svaranthīn—every day is a golden day. For the yogīs, for the spiritual soul, it is always a golden day. But for the worldly, it is never the same day; it always changes. People who have problems are always changing, yet they dream they are perfect while they are not. They are suffering, and therefore you should not accompany such people. Do not sit with them. Do not listen to their voice. In every aspect, this is what you call kusanga. You might say, "No, he is my friend." He was not your friend, is not your friend, and will never be your friend. As long as there is an ice cream on a bamboo stick, you lick it, but when it is finished, it is discarded. Those people have polluted brains; they have conflict and many problems. They blow these problems through your ears, your eyes, and your touch. Some fight for power, trying to get politicians or ministers, thinking, "Oh, this minister is his disciple." This was at the beginning of democracy or during the communists, but now who cares? If you are, then you are. That is all. You have to be with those persons who are truly spiritual. Be light. Be the light, so the darkness will not come near. Those people will disappear with the darkness. Otherwise, you are lost. You might say, "This is my friend, my colleague," but you do not know. Many times I thought someone was my friend, and they turned into an enemy. But I was always careful; I know this person is like that. Sitting here, many still question me about so many things, and I answer. I answer inwardly, because if you are sitting with a wise person who has knowledge of the Vedas, and you are sitting near a donkey, how will you communicate with the donkey? Such friends are like that. They will make you a donkey. Therefore, ātmajñāna—Self-knowledge—is very important. So here, you are Śivamaya in this minute. Do not think that you are truly Śiva now, only to find that when you go out of this Strelky Ashram, all the problems are there: your jealousy, your conflicts. Many questions will come. "Why did Swāmījī say this? Why? Why? And how?" The one who is arguing is one of the foolish. A wise one will never put a question, because the wise is wise. Who puts the question? The ignorant, because they do not know. So when you do not know, you put the question. This is the sign of ignorance. But when you are wise, you know the answer. Then why are you asking? "Why? What happened? Why did it happen?" Why do you ask the question? Now, this boy sitting right next to me is very wise. He will give you some answers which will burn more in your heart, or become like popcorn on a hot pan. So bhālenāt-śiva. Śiva is a bhālenāt. Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya, Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya... Oṁ. He was going with his goats and sheep. As Vivek Purī told, a king wanted to marry his daughter but could not find a proper husband for her. You know, parents care about children for at least two things: a good education and a good husband or wife. The children follow. Now they do not care, and parents are unhappy with whom you married. This is called a love marriage. One is called a marriage—a wedding—with many ceremonies and nice things. A love marriage is a love marriage. But a love marriage is like a fire of grass; it burns with high flames but goes down very quickly. If you look at it, there are very big flames, and the whole ash goes into your body. That is why the whole world is suffering. Nowadays, marriage is a misconception. You do not know because you never married; you are only confused. You suffered. Very few from these thousand people, maybe ten, are married. Others are in the ash of the burned grass. Then you have a second wife, a fifth wife, ten husbands, and then we are nowhere. A woman is called mother. She is known as the divine. Women have very high qualities, and they do not want to marry again and again. They do not eat from a dirty plate. So if your husband died, she would renounce her emotional life and dedicate it to his life. He died, but for her, he has not. He is with her. If the wife dies, the husband is also the same way. Now, sometimes a man is stupid, but I did not want to say this because I have to exist here. So it is a feministic... it is a wife, a lady, a woman, but this is not a woman... It is what we call a Devī, and she is a protection. The family is in everything, but then she lost her position. I am not going so far. Anyhow, the king wanted the best husband for his daughter. The daughter was highly educated; she knew all the philosophies. It is not easy to find a girl who is truly educated. Out of ten thousand, maybe—with a question mark—one is there. That one still has the quality of divine Śakti. Otherwise, plastic bags already have holes. You may feel water inside, but it is sprinkling everything. We are searching for that mother, and we are searching for that father. The child of that mother and father is divine. If you do not find them, do not worry. Finished. But do not go to the garbage. Do not eat the junk. If it is in your kismat, such a great goddess will come to you, and she will liberate your whole generation. And such a man will also come; he will liberate everyone. Wait, maybe in the next life. So in this life, you have no burden. Maybe in the third life, the fourth life... then I will negotiate with Śiva, "Why?" He looks at me and closes his eyes. When Śiva closes his eyes, it goes on for ages and ages. So always, Māta Jī Katarina said, "You do not know many, but many you know. No answer is the answer already." So when I ask Śiva and he closes his eyes, it is a clear answer. So boys and girls, be that one. Wait. Wait. No problem. In this life, you do not have to earn so much money to feed children who do not follow you, with so many problems. So there is no problem. There is no marriage, no bamboos, no flute, no noise. Yes, so this is that. Now he said, and she said also, "I will marry that man who can answer all my questions." I see that one is a wise one, and she used to play soccer... no, not football. What do you call this? Chess. If she is a winner, she will not marry him. If he is a winner, then she will marry him. And there is a magic cat. In someone’s household, there is a cat. You must be careful—not of the cat, but entirely. A cat has other energy; that is what we call magic or something different. Cats have exactly the character of a human female: very clean, very disciplined. That is why people say, "Oh, Swāmījī, Veda ene kātseda." I know a flame. Again, there is one cat with a new flame. So, mystic. Yeah, this is the word. The cats are the mystics. Sometimes, on a particular day at midnight, do not look into the eyes of that cat, even if it is your house cat. You will see that exactly at this midnight, over time, we do not know what the cat is doing. They are so clever, intelligent, and careful; they will not show you what they do. Oh my God! That is why I do not have a cat in my room. At midnight, the hair goes up, so I take her and put her at the neighbor’s door. So, as long as this cat, which has on her head a crown, and on that crown a lamp—as long as this lamp remains, no one can wean her. That is called a mystic cat. She does not let herself get lost. Now, the father wished for a husband for her—such a complicated girl. Last month... okay, let it go. So they told their people—soldiers, messengers, or those working for the secretaries—"Find the best husband." They traveled to Indonesia, Turkey, the Middle East, Sri Lanka, and China. Everywhere, you must be thankful to the parents for how much they care. Whenever they brought someone, she said, "No, this is not good." They had a dialogue and lost. One day, they had enough and went to search for someone. They were in the forest, tired and desperate. Suddenly they saw a shepherd who had climbed a tree and was sitting on a branch, cutting the very branch he was sitting on. They said, "We found him." They went and talked to him. "Do you want to marry?" He said, "What is that?" They explained, and he said, "Yes." They spoke with him for a few weeks, and he said, "Good." It sounded good, so they said, "You do not speak. Only one thing: you will not speak, and you will do nothing." They brought this shepherd. For two or three weeks he had cosmetic treatments. They said, "Do not tell anything. Let us speak." The princess was sitting on one side, and he was sitting with two men on the other. She said, "Should we discuss the Vedas or philosophy?" He was looking like this. She said, "Doesn’t he want to talk on this?" The people said, "You have nothing in the brain to talk? The girl, you know? I am waiting. Oh, great wise man." So she said, "Eko brahma dvitīyo nasti"—The One is truth, Brahman, and the rest is unreality. He could not hold back. He said, "Stupid girl." You saw me the finger? He said, "Oh, like this? If you show me the finger, I will give you this." She said, "What did he say?" He said, "One does nothing. It is the five tattvas. In these five tattvas, it is so." She said, "Great." But she asked, "These five tattvas, how do they function?" He thought she wanted to give him sleep also. So she said he means, "If you give me sleep, I have it in my bag. Yes." She said, "What does he mean by saying this?" He said, "Yes. Only five that were separate cannot do anything. They must have a union. Eko’ham. All have to become one. Vedānta." She said, "Great man, great wise one. I accept. But now, let us go and have a game." In the evening, at ten o’clock, she came and sat. They brought him, and they brought a beautiful bamboo flute as a decoration. Inside, they put a mouse tied by the tail. When she comes to wean the prince, the cat is sitting there nicely. The cat is looking all the time at the bamboo because she smells it, but the cat is sitting very peacefully. You will see sometimes your cat sitting so peacefully if you are typing on the computer. When that is going to happen, she will be the winner. They released the mouse a little, and it came one centimeter out of the bamboo. It is a cat; it is its nature. Some people have certain habits. You are always like a holy man, but something happens, and suddenly you are this stupid. The mouse came out a little and was doing like this, and the cat sometimes pulled the mouse back. She lost seven games. In seven plays, she lost all. She stood up and gave a beautiful garland in his name. He said, "I am not a goat." They said, "Psst, psst, psst." Okay? The wedding took place, and then everything happened. God’s father gave them a very nice palace. They were in the room, and he said, "But where are my goats?" She said, "What?" "Yes, my goats and sheep. You played with me. Where are my goats?" Oh God! She was disabled, so she kicked him. From the balcony he fell down. As Vivek Purījī said, Vajranāḍī somehow awoke, and Kuṇḍalinī went up, and he became a great, great poet in the Sanskrit language. In every university, there is a subject about Kāvīkālī Dās. There is so much interesting literature, but you must know Sanskrit. That was the language of the wise ones. So that is it. Kālidāsa even mentioned the Kumbh Melā in Ujjain, where we will all be. Be careful; I will bring the cat with me for you, and I will have a mouse. Okay, all the time. So, read one again. There are more poets: Mamici, shall I read them? Yeah. The poem: Bāṇa, Vyāsa, Śūtraka, Pāvabhūti, Vilhāna, Amara Siṁha, and Parikūṭa. The religious significance of Ujjain has special reasons. Similarly, Ujjain is one of the most secret cities, out of seven cities, where a man can be liberated from his worldly journey. Excuse my Sanskrit; I will try it: Śivaḥ sthānaṁ mṛtyuḥ yatra mokṣaṁ labhate. Very good. Very good. Excuse my Sanskrit. Very good. Very good. This means: where God lives, and death would receive salvation, mokṣa. This is the place on this earth where all sins are doomed. A sacred place of attaining Harṣidī and Mātṛkāun. Siddhi a Mātṛkā. Mahākāla is the sacred place where the confluence of the five greatest things exists on earth. And this is nowhere except in Ujjain. All sacred pilgrimages on this earth exist in the Avantī Kāpurī or Mahākālvana, including Puṣkarāj. Well, it will take time in the coming days. There are different kinds of joy, but spiritual joy is better than anything. "What is the best step, the next step on my way to do the guru-sevā even better?" Do all your obligations: family, profession, colleagues, job, etc. Do not be angry. Do not be jealous. That is it. Make sure that, O Lord, whatever happens, I will be Thine. This is the sevā you can do.
