Yoga practice with children

Today is the last day of the international seminar, a time to review. The morning practice starts with three Oms and the surrender mantra. Even the youngest learned to love the sun, friends, and animals. Yoga exercises in daily life build perfect immunity. Immunity means health, resilience, and the ability to enjoy life better. These special asanas strengthen immunity so illness from others cannot take hold. Practice includes Mārjārī. The last asana is Vṛkṣa āsana, position on the head, an inverted posture. Daily practice at home advances step by step until the next meeting. The practice finishes with short meditation. Sit in meditation posture, chant three Oms. Be aware of the body and recall games of finding friends, collecting leaves, and ants working together. Yoga is about making a happy, big yoga family. Keep these experiences and share them with friends at home. All meetings with Viśvagurujī are a living reality. The lecture begins soon.

“Immunity means we will be healthy, and if someone is sick, they will not harm us. In short, we will be resilient and enjoy life much better.”

“Yoga is not just about how to move the body or how to breathe correctly, but about how to make a happy, big yoga family.”

Good morning to all who are watching us through the webcast. Good morning, children. Today is the last day of the International Seminar with Viśvagurujī, and it’s time for morning practice. As every morning, we will start with three times Oṃ, and then the mantra: “Mantra nāhaṁ kartā” — so that we surrender our body and mind, the highest energy, to our masters, so that they will guide us through the practice. I am very happy that through this international seminar, I could accompany children as their friend and lecturer. Today, it’s time to review or sum up what we have learned. For example, Kuba, what have we learned here? Even the youngest children were learning something: we learned to love the sun, friends, and animals. Today is a beautiful day, so we will practice waking up the sun with a nursery rhyme. Let us now say goodbye to the youngest ones — thank you very much, and enjoy your day. We will repeat the āsanas that we practiced during the whole seminar, yoga exercises in our daily life that are good for building perfect immunity. Immunity means we will be healthy, and if someone is sick, they will not harm us. In short, we will be resilient and enjoy life much better. These āsanas are special because they strengthen immunity, so when someone around you is ill, you will not catch the illness and you will lead a healthier life. I will be happy when you remember these āsanas and practice them at home. We will also add some more āsanas from advanced levels, and because we are thankful for all that Viśvagurujī has taught us, we will accompany our practice with the song Dhanyavād. “Dhanyavād” means thank you, thank you from the deep, deep depth of my heart. We start practicing Mārjārī. Once, Viśvagurujī was asked how you can recognize a yogī, and He said, “because he keeps smiling.” So, as you. The last āsana is the one you learned yesterday — Vṛkṣa āsana, position on the head, one of the inverted positions. Whoever wants to practice this āsana, go ahead, take your time, and make space around you. Look, even a little tiger is coming between us. Come to me, I’ll put you here in the middle so you can think. Sit with your head facing me, like this, and I’ll tickle you to be in the same position. Get ready, and we can go. Some children learned it yesterday, so all who know can practice. Perfect. I think that you really deserved the praise from Viśvagurujī, which you received yesterday at the satsaṅg. Did you all hear it? You were praised by Viśvagurujī, and that’s why. Have you heard all the praise? We will see each other again in August. If you continue this exercise every day, we can keep advancing step by step until we meet again. We will finish with a short meditation. Sit up in meditation posture. Again, three times Oṃ. Be aware of your body… remember all the games when we were finding our friends, collecting leaves, and small ants working together. Viśvagurujī says that yoga is not just about how to move the body or how to breathe correctly, but about how to make a happy, big yoga family. Remember all the friends you were playing with here. Keep this all in your hearts and take it with you — not only for you, but also for your friends at home. Třikrát om. Three times Oṃ. Rub your palms, massage your face muscles, bow down. Open your eyes and sit up slowly. And the most beautiful thing we experienced here — we did not have to remember it in meditation — are all the meetings with Viśvagurujī. We are happy that it is not a memory, but a reality, because right now Viśvagurujī’s lecture will begin in a short time, and we are looking forward to it. Before that, of course, Gaṅgā is waiting for you for breakfast. Hari Om, have a nice day.
