Webcast from Jaipur

Yoga is a 24-hour practice for physical, mental, and spiritual health, integrating asana, pranayama, and meditation into daily life. Human life is unique, and one's powerful intellect must be cultivated through proper education and parental love to elevate consciousness beyond animalistic tendencies. Karma binds all beings, yet through disciplined practice, one can transcend it. True yoga requires a peaceful environment, free from sound pollution, to turn inward. The ultimate aim is to realize one's divine nature and live in supreme light.

"Yoga is not for one hour, yoga is not for half an hour, yoga is for 24 hours."

"A human being can become a god or a demon."

Filming location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

Sanskrit and Hindi terms include yoga, prāṇa, kuṇḍalinī, ātmā, sattva, dharma, brahman, saṃskāra, kīrtan, oṃ, auṃ, namaste, praṇām. I would like to request the head of the organization, Mr. S.P. Gupta; our guide, Mr. Vishnujī Samādhiyā; Mr. Om Prakash Palwal; Dr. Sudhir Garg; Dr. Ashok Kedia; Dr. Somani; Dr. Pradeep Bajaj; Dr. Shekhar; Dr. Suresh Garg; our trustee Mr. Adrani Pohon; and our teacher Mr. Arun Parikh. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. M.P. Gupta, who is the head of this organization, for taking care of us. Sir, Gurujī has travelled the world 47 times. The yoga that is simple for you is not simple for us. When Bābājī came to Europe for the first time in 1970, our yoga had no name. Even you, Mr. Modi-ji, have spread the word, and the International Day of Yoga has also been held. That is why you have become very famous today. But our Gurujī among us has been doing this work for so many years. He has been teaching yoga to us and to you all for so many years. This is a matter of joy for us and for you all as well. Now, this camera is going live in 150 countries. This is also a miracle of this world. Today, sitting here, people are watching in Australia because it is 12 o’clock in the day there. In America, it is 8 o’clock in the night. All around the world, I would like to welcome all our friends and bhaktas who are watching us on Swamiji.tv. I would like to tell you that we are now in a very old and very famous yoga center in Jaipur. They have been teaching yoga to people for the last 30 to 40 years, and they are very serious about it. Swāmījī was here from around 1980, almost 10 years ago. Swāmījī comes regularly, and today we have the opportunity to also show you live the base, how the practice is done here and how people are practicing also in India. So, without any further due, I would like to welcome our Guru Dev, and we should start. The program normally starts with the burning of the dīpak and with mantras for the Divine Goddess Sarasvatī, and after that the mālās are given. And now the yoga class will start. Siddhiṁ Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Now we are talking about our family; otherwise, we have a protocol. Now we are talking towards our home and working towards our home. Before we start the conversation, either put the fan on 1 or turn it off. This sound pollution is very high. See, this is yoga. How peaceful it is. Why is it going on till now? Remove this too. Either put it on one or turn it off. Today I am talking about home. In foreign countries, they say, "It’s not your problem, sir. You just go and talk." Now see, is there peace or not? What is it called in English? Pin, pin silent now. See, this yoga is done. Today’s class is complete. Are you happy or not? Aha, just wow. So this dhvani, this sound, is not good for our yoga, for our yoga practice. It is not good. It is not like that. And when thieves come, they come to know they are sleeping. They can’t hear anything; they steal and go away easily. Or, there should be no sound. Anant Brahmaṇḍ ke rachayitā, sṛṣṭi ke pāraṇ kartā, ghaṭ ghaṭ meṁ rehane vāle, Parabrahm Brahmātmā ko śata-śata naman. Ārādhy Śrī Gurudev ke śubh caraṇ kamalome, koṭi-koṭi śāṣṭāṅg daṇḍavat. Our dear brothers, sisters, and all those who practice yoga, all those who are sādhaks, yogīs, śikṣaks. This organization is very old; it is almost 50 years old. The one who planted this plant is a great saint, very famous, who is known not only in India, but all over the world: Ujjaniye, Archaniye, Vandaniye, Pratashmaraniye, Swami Sivanandji Maharaj, Rishikesh, Tehreek. He is there, isn’t he? His organization is divine, so Divya organization, lead a divine life. His many beloved disciples, Mr. Sanghi, took the certificate of yoga from there and established this organization. And today he is spreading it to the whole of Jaipur and beyond. This organization of ours has a very good name. And lakhs of people have taken advantage for their physical and mental health. For this, all the workers who had this desire, and still all of them are officials, secretaries, all the gentlemen, they don’t say that I am an official, but to take care of the work, they have to take the name that they are officials, secretaries, treasurers. We are all devotees of yoga, we are all devotees of Gurudev, and we want to give our human race the supreme peace, the supreme light, and a happy life. They want to give. Karma is to be experienced, but human beings can go beyond karma. When Mahārāja Parī became a sādhu, he said that he respects the Devī Devatās. So he saw that Devī Devatās are bound in karma. If I pray to Bhagavān, then Bhagavān too is bound in karma. Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa says, "Sītā is getting scared, time is passing, Lakṣmaṇa’s life is passing, when will Hanumān come?" I don’t know in which birth of my karma I was born. So, God also says that Kṛṣṇa also had karma; everyone had it. So, the karma of a human being, that karma does not leave anyone. Then, Bhartṛi says, "Then why do I not worship karma?" O Karma Devtā, give me good wisdom, let us do good karma in life. Beloved, yoga has a great glory, and yoga is made for human beings. And a human being can become a god or a demon. So a human being’s life is very unique. And this life should not be lost like this. Khānā Pīnā Bhognā Paśubhī Param Sujān.... We are human beings, we will become Narāśe Nārāyaṇa, and we will definitely become Narāśe Nārāyaṇa. The culture of our India is the culture of God. And the culture of the Western world is the culture of animals. I have seen this very well, and you must have seen it too. But the misfortune is that you have entered the animal culture. Our people of India have started to leave our Deva culture. So we have to think again. God has not given humans to other animals, but man has been given a powerful tool. And that powerful tool is our intellect, and intellect needs education. Human beings have a powerful tool, and that is intellect. And you can make the intellect whatever you want. Whatever education you give will be the same. So it has been said in our culture that to make human beings human, for that, education, university, college, and what do you call it these days, the kindergarten, what do you call it, KG, KG, where do you call it? You sell it to small children. What do you call it? Nursery. Nursery, it’s not a tree; it looks like a tree. So, you get education that makes humans human in the lap of the mother and in the lap of the father. The one who gets the love of his parents in his lap is blessed. And the one who does not have time to take his children in his lap, he has a separate laptop. The child sits and says, "I am looking at the laptop." So the laptop is the right of the child, not the right of the tool, the instrument. So teach the children that. I don’t care what religion you belong to, whether you are a Muslim, a Hindu, a Christian. I am not saying that. But a human being has to be a human being. A mother and father’s love is what a child needs. A child needs love. A child should not be fed. And a child needs knowledge. A child should not need money. On Diwali, do not give guns to children. We don’t have to follow the path of non-violence. The word Ahiṃsā was first used by Pitāmah Bhīṣma to Yudhiṣṭhira when the Mahābhārata was over. Yudhiṣṭhira went to Pitāmah Bhīṣma and asked him for permission. At that time, Pitāmah Bhīṣma became self-aware. He said, "O Yudhiṣṭhira! Ahiṃsā paramo dharmaḥ." This word was first said by Yudhiṣṭhira, no, by Viśva. So, in Maharashtra, there was a very big professor. He wrote a book, a few books, a book called Dharmagrantha. In that Dharmagrantha, he wrote, Mr. Kane, his name was Kane, he got Bharat Ratna. In that book of Kanha, in the book of Dharma, it is written, "Ahiṃsā Paramo Dharma." This word was first said by Viśva. He must have read thousands of books for every word. It is a very good book. You should read it. You should see it. So yoga is not for one hour, yoga is not for half an hour, yoga is for 24 hours. So, yoga in daily life, our whole body, our thoughts, our diet, everything should be according to yoga. So, along with the water of that God, we can live in that Supreme God. So, do yoga, do āsana, prāṇāyāma. Because it is said that health is not everything. Health is not everything, but everything is nothing without health. So what is that health? That is our physical, mental, and spiritual health. How does that become? Do yoga, do prāṇāyāma, and you have good knowledge, you have practiced, you have experienced. So now, a little bit, turn a little bit of our ship of water, that is, make a system. You announce, "Do I have a telephone?" Gyāneśvarī jī, where did you put this? I don’t know how this works. So, here comes the signal, Mahārāj, close it. We have to go home; we have to go to the office. So, friends, you listen to me. All your teachers are very good. So, from the 1st class to the 8th and 9th class, you make the class. So, those who are going to advance, let them advance, and those who are beginners, let them continue to benefit. You can connect this with our naturopathy. So mothers come, they sit at home, they feel pain. Today’s sisters are very active; they work, and they also go to the office. But many of our mothers and sisters do not go to work. And you also feel pain when you sit at home. So, do one such class. Announce the beginner class, the second class. The third class, the fourth class. And every class has a minimum of three months. We call it Sarvahittāsana. So Sarvahittāsana will be done for at least six months. Sarvahittāsana has two parts. And in that part, like you have shoulder rotations, fingers, legs, very simple, very, very simple. So for 15 days, one type of exercise, like you did this. For 15 days, so many people say it’s boring. I thought it will be something that I stretch like this and like this. It’s just boring. I go, and my teacher says, "Do only this, oh God. But after five days, you will be so happy. The next exercise will be different, also for two weeks." Next exercise will also be two weeks. Like this for six months, the first course has two parts: part 1 and part 2. After that comes the second chapter, in which there are different exercises, but they are also very simple. In that, there can be a little butterfly, etc. So different postures will make your body so good. Your digestion, your joints, your muscles, ligaments, everything, all the organs, kidney problems, liver problems, digestive problems, everything will be slowly, slowly, nicely cured and put your body in good shape. Good. If you do it systematically, then I would like to thank all the sages. It was said that Swāmījī will do meditation, and I don’t know what Bābājī said; he just gave me a chocolate and told me to go. So, do a little meditation for two minutes. The way you are sitting in any mudra, which gives you, you should be relaxed. First, your body should be happy. I believe that all of you know English. All of you know English. You speak better English than I do. Because my work is in German, but my instruction is meditation. In English, I feel a little comfortable because I have been speaking in English for 45 years. Close your eyes. Sit straight upright and keep your body relaxed. Close your eyes. Relax the whole body. No tensions at all, either physically or mentally. Just relax. Vīram. Viśram. Śarīr ko bilkul dhīlā chhoḍī jāye. Viśrām. Āṅkheṁ bandh kar dijiye. Bihari jagat se aap apne antar jagat mein ā jāye. Withdraw thyself from the external world and come to thyself. No concentration, no expectations, no tensions, just relax. Feel your body from the toes to the top of the head. And from the top of the head to the toes, just relax. From the feet to the head, and from the head to the feet. Leave your body completely still. Sit comfortably. Kāya Sthairyam. Keep your body motionless. Kāya Sthairyam. For some time, don’t move your body at all. Sit comfortably. Chin Mudra. If you have any mantra given by your Guru, then the mind itself will speak that mantra. But the whole attention should not go toward the mantra. Kāyā is the theory of motionlessness of the body. And now, bring your awareness to the breath. Think about your breath, but its rhythm must change. Do not change the breath rhythm. Just feel that I know I am inhaling, and I know that I am exhaling. During the time of inhalation, the body is expanding, and during the time of exhalation, it is slightly contracting. Relax, relax. Bring your awareness to the center of the eyebrows. Bring your attention to the spot where the tilak is placed. And the image of Kalpana when the sun rises in the morning in Brahmamuhūrta, what kind of light is that? The morning dawn at the time of the sunrise. Imagine, behind your forehead wall, an inch of the sky. Imagine that you have a lamp in your hand. Imagine that you have a lamp in your hand. Both palms are open, and you have a light in your palms. And see this lamp going towards the sun. Your lamp is in your hand. You are sending it towards the sun. Imagine a beautiful, tiny flame proceeding towards the sun. Your soul, your Jīvātmā, always remains in that supreme light with bliss. That lamp is going towards the sun, and today we will say only this much of Om. Let that lamp go, keep watching. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. And join your palms with the Mudrā of Praṇām. And along with me, you all will say the Mahāmṛtyujaya Mantra. Oṁ Tryambakaṁ yajāmahe sugandhiṁ puṣṭi-vardhanam, urvārukam iva bandhanān mṛtyor mukṣīya māmṛtāt. Oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ. Warm up your palms, place your hands on your face, and open your eyes. Bow to your parents and Gurudev. Bend forward and place your hands on your āsanas. Place your head as low as you can on the ground. The blood circulation in your brain, eyes, and face is very good, and you can get back to your normal life. Om Shanti Shanti. Please give the presentation of the Om. Give the Om, Mr. Yāneśvara. Do you know? No one knows. Some know, some don’t. A huge Om is being built between Pali and Suvjet in Pali district. It is 350 by 250 meters long and wide. There is an underground floor. There are two floors on the ground floor. There are 108 big units, and in the middle, there is the Sūrya Mandir. There is a lake of water in the place of Mātrā, and in the center, there is the Śiv Mandir. There are twelve Jyotirliṅgas. In each of the planets, there are 1,000 idols of Śiva. So this is his... Shri Maheśwar Ānand jī is present in this prāṇāyāma. I would like to express my gratitude and praise to Śāstrī Swāmījī on behalf of the Rastan Swas Yog Trust. You did yoga bhāvan, you did meditation class, and you explained about yoga in detail. Swami ji, I trust you that the system you have told us, we will talk to the management in the same way. And similarly, in yoga class, like the elderly people who are not able to do yoga, they get tired of doing a little. As you have said, we will take care of each and every activity for two to three months. We will talk to the management of the same system and ask Dr. Shekhar Yogeshwar to start with the same system as Swamiji said. For this, all the citizens of Jaipur and all the citizens of Yogoham are at your disposal. And with your presence, India’s ancient traditions have been maintained, and the Bhabhī community has achieved a successful development. Respected guests, I thank all of you, brothers and sisters, for coming on such short notice. You have come in large numbers, and you have encouraged us and increased our respect. Jai Hind, Jai Bhārat. Thank you. About that, every guest.
