Program from India

A spiritual discourse and prayer session on devotion, grace, and guru-disciple relationships.

"The devotion of saints and devotees is truly unique. When someone works from the heart, it is something special."

"Faith—faith is the greatest of all, that is it. I feel and see that I am immersed in the dust of Mahāprabhujī’s feet."

A speaker addresses a gathering, offering prayers to deities and gurus, and praises the devotion of specific individuals like Bāvjī and Ṭhākur Sāhab Śrī Girdārī Singhjī. The talk emphasizes wholehearted devotion, the importance of the guru's grace, and shares anecdotes about service and spiritual journeys, including a search for Alagapurījī's cave. It concludes with Sanskrit mantras and a focus on taking refuge in the guru to overcome worldly worries.

Śugata Dīna Raghunātha nāma udāre, amita khal beda vivita gunagātha avita ajāmila gazagana kyāvu bhai mukuta harī nāma prabhavu kahā̃ kahā̃ lagī nāma baṛhāī. Hail to Mahādeva, hail to Guru Mahārāj, Har Har Mahādeśaṁ! The command of Pavan Sutā Svāmījī is to say something. This is the sacred seat of Śrī Dīparānta Māṁ Prabhujī; the throne here is the effort of Svāmījī’s dedication. There is a desire to make this place better so that such a compassionate gathering continues to take place. When the guru speaks, mothers come, worship and rituals take place. May everyone benefit from the discourse and take something divine into their lives. We are all participants in Svāmījī’s efforts here; it is the duty of everyone. According to Svāmījī’s command and your guidance, whatever orders come from Śāmbhavījī are to be wholeheartedly accepted. I will not say much, just offer a four-line prayer: Śrīdeva Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, the deity of deities; Deveśvara Mahādeva, the moon; Dharma Samrāṭ, Satva Guru Svāmījī Mādhvān Bhagavān of Alagapurī; Mahādeva of truth and eternal Dharma. Oṁ namo śrī Prabhudī Panārāyaṇam, Oṁ namo śrī Prabhudī Panārāyaṇam. That Oṁśrī Mahāprabhujī is the refuge of all servants; we all are servants devoted to the refuge. We are all devotees who have come to the refuge of the Lord. Salutations to all of us devotees at the Lord’s refuge. Salutations to the Lord’s light, the illuminating lamp of the Lord, the Lord who is the eternal Bhagavān. As we say, our sacred land is like the Rām Janmabhūmi; similarly, Harsor is our own birthplace. Bhagavād Dīpanāyan Mahāprabhujī’s place, where our Mahant Śrī Ganeśpurījī Mahārāj resides—we offer them our heartfelt thanks for enduring the hardship of coming all the way here. All our dedicated workers from Jodhpur and their friends—what is the name of their court? Oh, their court is called Kāī Ṭekṭe Kiyo Pāzo Bāgiyo Paratvī Singhjī along with the entire family. Bāvjī’s devotion is unparalleled. He is a devotee, and our Sir Singhjī was just speaking, speaking like a lion. A lion doesn’t speak much; a lion is somewhat like this. Sir Singhjī’s family has been our disciples from the fifth generation—how many generations? About seven, five. Their grandfather's grandmother, then grandfather, then this, then their tower... they hit us with the tower. We are laborers, we are workers. They say, "Run, run, fill two pots," but no one says about the cap, the cap... Our Ṭhākur Sāhab Śrī Girdārī Singhjī is like a lion in overseeing things here, not a mere lion cub, but a lion indeed. Similarly, our great devotee Rupārāmjī does whatever work he takes up with passion. On one hand, he might say, "Yes, do it, you lazy fellows, get to work," but... Even if I wanted to get the chain made, I had forgotten to give five rupees at times, but that was his nature—he never kept anything for himself. The point is, those who are stingy with bread are also stingy with the cart; they spoil everything. One day, Bāvjī had gone to Meknī. They will be placed in a job on the road base, and as for Bābājī, "Come and have some food." What to do then? Bābā will keep wandering on the road, wandering and wandering. Who will take care of this? Bābājī, please take care. What is the reason, brother? Subscribe, subscribe to all. The devotion of saints and devotees is truly unique. When someone works from the heart, like making halvā, it is something special. Once, a paṇḍit came to the deity—no need to mention his name, and he wasn’t even invited. When they used to make halvā, they would add vidām to it. They would put one kilo of vidām in a pot of water. If you keep the weight and let it hang, it will give about half a kilo of almonds; then I will take it. But if it is hanging, it won’t be like that. More villages, because almonds are so much, take it and they will give it. The hanging heavy load is such that Paṇḍitjī said, "I have to do that for Paṇḍitjī." If you buy ten kilos of seeds, they will be sent to the plot. I had kept ten kilos, and those people will give all sorts of troubles. I have kept it, and then there are such people who just say, "Subscribe, subscribe..." Subscribe, subscribe. The heart must be generous to give and nurture; only such a person can do it, others cannot be stingy. Similarly, this is true of bhakti as well, the bhakti that people practice. So, one should not be half-hearted; if you are to do bhakti, do firm bhakti. Alright, as they say, a sesame seed is a mere speck, and if you pour oil on it, it is of no use. Faith—faith is the greatest of all, that is it. I feel and see that I am immersed in the dust of Mahāprabhujī’s feet. At night, I contemplate that there are 28 rooms in the abode of Bābājī, and one must attend to them all. Wherever Bābājī goes, whether wandering or resting, time passes by, and I feel as if I am attached to His feet—completely devoted to His feet. Clinging to the feet of the Guru, bathing there—this is sung in the Vedas and Purāṇas. Clinging to the feet of the Guru, bathing there—this is sung in the Vedas and Purāṇas. Say, it is sung in the Vedas and Purāṇas; it is in the Vedas and Purāṇas. It is sung in the Vedas and Purāṇas; it is in the Vedas and Purāṇas... it is there. But even if it doesn’t go, the effect still happens. The leaves don’t know that I am the tree; when I myself fall, the leaves don’t rise knowing that I am the tree. So when I myself fall, then they themselves wither away. Whether you realize it or not, if you immerse yourself in the pool of amṛta, then amṛta... Millions of years or countless yugas have passed, but listen carefully to the present moment—sometimes there is rain, sometimes rivers flow, sometimes storms come. These things have happened repeatedly, yet even after all this, what remains? Some ask, some ponder, but where there is amṛta, there is amṛta. Only that which is amṛta remains; we all seek amṛta. We too wish to be immortal, but where and how can that amṛta be found? It is through the jñāna of Gurudev. That is why it is said: be immortal, the one who truly is. There is no detachment, absolutely none, my brother. But when detachment arises, it is like this: when milk sours because of lemon, the milk curdles. When the mind curdles like that, it no longer clings. Then, even to your own people, whether it is affection, pampering, or care, it no longer sticks, no matter who they are or what they do. That affection is persistent, like a mother who is deeply attached to her child. We have a director here, and all the workers here are essentially his; his name is Darśan. So I said, Darśan is indeed good. Go and see, whether the belly is held or the bag is taken, it all happens first because of him. So tell them, do not wander anymore; your past life is gone. Without chanting the Hari nāma, do not waste your time. Listen to me, your past life is gone. Without chanting the Hari nāma, do not waste your time. Oh, we will remember and meet; your towers will surely come. Then you must give blessings. Come on, don’t pull the rubber like that; let go of the dice. Come, tap it gently; don’t pull the rubber like that; let go of the dice. Come. The Sudrēga will come upon them now. When you all come, make sure to feed them—do not serve halvā, jalebī, or makhān. Prepare makhān well, and the rotīs should be soft and fresh; I have not sent them yet. Let’s see now. You should say, "Darśan Pūrījī," we say "Pūrījī," "Pūrījī"—so when is the darśan Pūrījī? What can I do, my condition is like that of Kachchh; like fragile pots, water does not stay, it does not settle. Like mercury on paper, or a bird with a pearl—what can be done with a pearl? Pearls are food for swans. Speak the truth: Victory to Gurudev! Then our sādhana, our experience—45 times the earth revolves on its axis, crooked and twisted, and this has been seen by the elders themselves. Bābājī has clearly written that Lilār is inside Mṛt. The bed that is our tradition is not only near Kailāsa, nor is it appointed by Aridāvāś. Our tradition and the strict continuation ahead is the place of Brahman, inside Brahman, in the Satya Yuga, of Śiva. Mān, that Alagapurījī Mahārāj, who is mentioned in the scriptures and texts, is indeed greater. I would say to you, do not consider yourself insignificant. You are known, just as Chhatyavan Mahārāj is known. But today, this disciple is ready, so the disciple should do as Gurujī commands. The one who was the guru, what was his name? What did Nābhajī say? And when Nābhajī had a book written, what happened to Nābhajī was that he was sitting in meditation and a voice came, "Gurudev, Gurudev, Gurudev, save us, save us..." The disciple, while turning the rosary, said, "Son, a disciple is trapped in a boat; a storm has arisen in the middle of the ocean, and he will perish, he will die, he is calling out to me." When Rāghavācārījī was residing, he increased the number of disciples and kept calling Gurudev, Gurudev. If help was needed, I was sitting in my hut. The door was closed, do not open it. Gurujī sat down and reached the heart through the subtle body. I was dreaming, and suddenly the dream was cut off as if a child had eaten something. As soon as I started, the understanding came quickly. Just like that, as soon as one goes, they are immediately crossed over, and then they return. Mahāprabhujī Mahārāj, now you have come, you left in a hurry. Now I am wandering in the body of Māyā’s illusions. In the subtle body, the disciples who were there... What has happened to Gurudev? Come back to the seat, my son. I have come out of the body, from which door I emerged, so I am searching for that door. I do not know which door it is; I might go mad somewhere, or become something else. Then that disciple meditates, oh dear. If I do not dedicate myself to your service, then what else shall I do? Similarly, in the kingdom of Alkapurījī Mahārāj, which lies about eight kilometers beyond Badrināth, within that very kingdom resides Kubera. I investigated and found out where Alagapurījī's cave is, and then our doctor Śānti informed me. So I went this year to Sāñc Bharī Jāe, climbed up, and found the cave. One can rest there for two nights. Wow, Jñāna Śumaraṇa was done there, and if you go further, then there I... If I cannot reach, then strike the heart; it is still tender now. But if anyone can go, let them go. He is young; it takes about a week to get there slowly, gradually to reach there. Go, Dev. So there, by the grace of Alagapurījī, in the subtle body, within the causal body, Alagapurījī is still present. And he seated Devpurījī there in the cave, and all the siddha powers were granted by Alagapurījī there. And what did we receive? So now it is that our... From the essence of knowledge, our guru tradition originates from there. Those who wish to study completely separately can read books. There was a poet named Kālidāsa who wrote a book called Meghadūta. A messenger is one who brings news, so based on the messenger, they had written that it is a great matter how Kālidāsa became a poet. Kālidāsa was such a great fool, but later see, today his name is known worldwide. It was only through the grace of the Guru that this happened, and then he wrote. The Kalyāṇa Gītā is also present in the Preś, in the Apurāṇas, and in the Bhaktamāl as well, where a different purījik appears. In this too, a different purījik appears. In the Mahāśiva Purāṇa, again a different purījik appears. It came within the Mek Dūt, so I have revealed it. What more can I say? Do less work and practice yoga daily. Then, your body will become strong gradually. People may live separately, but brother, see, if the body is not a little strong, if there is a little weakness or pain, then see how difficult it becomes. Gurudev was there in Bādrināth, at the place of Bhagavān Bādrināth. Today, Paṇḍījī showed us the darśana and mentioned the name of that stream within the pūrṇa āhutī. You said it is the Vaśva Dhārā. It is indeed the Vaśva Dhārā, and only after bathing in that Vaśva Dhārā can one enter the cave of Alagapurījī. It is falling from a very large waterfall, so its fountains... They come, and our cleansing takes place. Without it, who or what is this cleansing? Without it, who is this cleansing? So now, it is such that one who has good thoughts, the prāṇa will come and settle upon them, and if there is some impure karma, then the Brahmabhāg—if it does not come, then they will say, "That is why, within yourself..." I am not lazy at all. Bābājī used to teach us, so be sure to subscribe. The water has come; this is bliss, bliss. And there, where the glaciers and ice rocks are, about seventy percent of them have melted. So we will go there, do satsaṅg and bhajan, and then return, because otherwise, there is no room. There is no vessel, no house, no kitchen, nothing at all. It is a forest with large rocks and just narrow paths because the government does not allow building. Otherwise, everything would become filthy, filthy. Our five or ten people stayed for two days, and then no one stayed for two days because it started to smell bad, very bad. If one has to take the government's permission, then it is different. The kingdom of Purījī is such a beautiful kingdom. Dakṣa comes there, everything comes there. From 12 to 1 at night, if the ājār sits there, what all sounds will you hear? You may have a vision, you may see the jyoti, and economically... The time can appear very unique, not just ours but even the Himalayas. All that I was searching for, searching and searching, I did not find it. Otherwise, where was the flower to offer to you? I could not find the flower. Maiśvarānanda, you are still searching and have not found it yet, so my birth remains incomplete, separate. Purījī was found, and right there, in that light, here in our court, in Mahāprabhujī’s court, he is present. Here, the separate establishment of Purījī’s Siddha Pīṭha tradition will take place. First, the initial yajña was performed, invoking the separate Purījī, Mahādeva, the deity, Dev Dev Purīśa Bhagavān. Oṁ śānti śānti... the truth of the eternal dharma, the revered mother of all. Oṁ Tryambakam yajāmahe sugaṇḍhiṁ puṣṭivardhanam urvārukamiva bandhanān mṛtyormukṣīya māmṛtāt gurur brahmā gurur viṣṇu gurur devo maheśvaraḥ gurur sākṣāt paraṁ brahma tasmai śrī gurave namaḥ jñāna mūlaṁ gurur mūrtiḥ pūjā mūlaṁ gurur padam... One whose heart is pure, whose vision is free of any fault, and whose devotion is without any kind of sorrow, such a one will see Mahāprabhujī right here. On this mountain, you will see Devapurījī—what all will not be seen! Yes, impurities, distractions, and... When all these three coverings are removed, will there be divine vision? Oh, any living being eats, drinks, enjoys, and even animals are very wise; yes, animals also eat and drink. So, they took refuge in Gurudev’s shelter. Gurudev, in your refuge, erase my worries. Taking refuge in you, erase my worries, have mercy, have mercy, help me cross the ocean. Taking refuge, erase my worries. Taking refuge, erase my worries. Prabhujī had a supreme devotee named Māṅgilājjī, and this was his... The only bhajan is that I give a pause to my mind, and today here a small committee has been formed which will inform you about how our program is progressing.
