Practice yoga like a cosmic dance
Wellness is achieved through sattvic living and non-violence, beginning with non-violence towards oneself. Illness often stems from violating natural laws, particularly in diet. We must eat to live for perfect health, not live merely to eat. Ancient wisdom prescribes mantras to purify our atmosphere and bless our food, cultivating sattvic quality. Āyurveda and Yoga are the two wings for a healthy life, guided by three principles: sattvic (pure), rajasic (aggressive), and tamasic (dull). Tamasic quality includes laziness, old food, alcohol, and misused spices, which poison the body and breed disease. Sattvic food—like milk, nuts, and fresh vegetables—creates happiness and balance. True wellness extends beyond diet to include movement like gentle yoga, positive thinking, and a harmonious lifestyle. Excessive bodybuilding or advanced postures driven by ego becomes rajasic and harmful. We must remember our human purpose: to protect, love, and forgive. Our food directly shapes our body, mind, and health; therefore, we must choose fresh, organic nourishment. Ultimately, a life of non-violence, positive thought, and sattvic practice leads to health, happiness, and liberation.
"Violence is against wellness, and wellness is not violence."
"As is our food, so will be our body."
