Svargaloka

Yoga and Āyurveda are the sole foundation.

All action—physical, mental, emotional—is karma. Kali Yuga is the age of karma yoga. Everyone is employed or searching for work. Work is slavery to money. Karma determines the resulting fruit. Skill in action brings yoga’s success. Yoga means union of the individual soul with the Supreme. The fire of yoga burns all karma. Positive karma leads to liberation. Nonviolence builds a free, peaceful society. The only hope in Kali Yuga is the name of God. Mantra repetition frees one from Kali Yuga’s prison. Gold symbolizes this bondage to money. Āyurveda prolongs life to realize yoga. It purifies without side effects. Heaven is temporary; the true goal is Brahmaloka.

Āyurveda and yoga: there are only two things. Everything is based on these two. Whatever you do is yoga. Whatever you think, whatever you read, whatever work you do, exercise, meditation—everything is yoga. Whatever we think, eat, practice, or work at, everything is yoga. This Kali Yuga is a karma yoga. Everyone is employed. And whoever is not employed is very unhappy, searching for work. In the old days, there were slaves, but not the majority. Now, the majority are slaves. Only the name has changed: employer and unemployed. The employer is a slave, and the unemployed is free, but they are not happy. They would like to be slaves too, and slave means work. Any kind of work you do is karma yoga. That is karma yoga. So whether you say slave, worker, employer, or karma yoga, it is the same. Now, whatever kind of work you do, that kind of fruit you will get. To know more about karma yoga, read the third chapter of the Bhagavad Gītā. It is said, “Yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam.” The yoga practice will become successful through the performance of karma. Whatever is happening through our body, emotion, intellect, and awareness or consciousness—that action is karma. Is it positive or negative? Karma is pradhāna in human life. Pradhāna means the priority, the foremost, the major activity. So, “Yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam” is written in the karma yoga chapter of the Bhagavad Gītā. Physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual—whatever is happening through us is karma. Whatever happens through us—physically, socially, mentally, emotionally—that is karma. When we have a majority on the positive side, for example, ahiṃsā and hiṃsā. Ahiṃsā means non-violence, and hiṃsā is violence. Ahiṃsā paramo dharmaḥ—the highest principle is non-violence. Violence does not have to be physical; it can also be mental. When mentally you have killed someone, you have already done it. If we think negatively, we have done it already. So, physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, political, social, and so on. In eating, cooking, cleaning plates and dishes, washing laundry—all is karma. Inhaling is karma, and exhaling is karma. Through this, yoga becomes successful. Then it is said, “Yogāgniḥ karma dagdhāni.” Through this karma, which we mentioned at the beginning—that yoga karmasu kauśalam—it is our behavior, our being, our attitude, our way of thinking. That supports us in realizing yoga. Physical exercise is karma. Mental exercise is karma. Prāṇāyāma is karma, kriyā—kriyā means karma. Meditation, mantra, doing, practicing—all are karma. Sleeping is a karma. So you cannot be free from karma. Sleeping, waking, dreaming are karma. So this soul has no space to escape. Thus, Kali Yuga is completely a karma yoga. If you or I are successful in karma, then we come to liberation. Positive karma is ahiṃsā, non-violence; negative karma is violence. Non-violence gives us security, freedom, happiness, without fear, without anxiety. We cannot even see with our eyes or hear with our ears the violence. So non-violence creates a happy, healthy, free, and peaceful society. Therefore, yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam. What is yoga? Yoga means the union of the jīvātmā with the Paramātmā. Yoga means union, oneness; we have reached our destination. What we do is not yoga—it is not a destination. It is the way, the path. So someone realizes through Kriyā Yoga, some through meditation, through Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Mantra Yoga, and so on. But yoga is that moment when we become one with the Supreme. When? How? Like one drop of water falling into the ocean. Then you cannot catch that drop anymore because it merges into the endless. So, yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam. Then yogāgni. At that time, when you realize that yoga, you become like a fire. The best element is fire, which purifies everything. That is called fire yoga: Yogāgniḥ karma dagdhāni. Agni, the fire of yoga, the power of yoga, the siddhi of yoga—Siddhi Yoga, the miracles of yoga—that is called the fire, the agni of yoga, Yogāgni. Karma dagdhāni: that fire then can burn all the karmas. So, first there is karma. Yoga becomes successful through karma—good karma or bad karma. Good karma leads to success; bad karma leads to destruction. So, life is karma. Birth is karma. Death is karma, and wandering in the universe is also karma: loneliness, loneliness. So it is our karma that will help us to be successful in yoga. Yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam, then yogāgni karma dagdhāni, then this yoga fire will burn away all negative karmas, when consciousness becomes pure. Thus, Kali Yuga is the Yuga of karma. And this age, this century, is the century of slaves. And we are searching to become slaves. You are at home with no work—you are sad. You need work. Because it has made us dependent on money; we are slaves of money. And in Kali Yuga, it is said, it is governed by money. When the Kali Yuga came—first is Satya Yuga, Tretā Yuga, Dvāpara Yuga, and last Kali Yuga. When Tretā Yuga finished and Kali Yuga came, there was a very great king. He wanted to have his yuga where all living beings would be happy and free. So he invited all to his kingdom. All were happy, all free. Anyone could come. It was like the principle of refuge. Do you invite refugees in the name of human rights? At that time, it was also the animal's right. The king was very happy. Then came Kali Yuga himself, and he approached the king. You can read this in the Purāṇas, in the Mahābhārata. Kali Yuga came to the king, and the king said, “Who are you?” He replied, “I am Kali Yuga.” “What is your definition?” Then Kali Yuga explained all that is happening now in the world: criminality, fighting, injustice, terrorists, all problems with women and men, companies, factories, politics. The king said, “You have no place in my kingdom.” Kali Yuga said, “That is not justice. This is a democracy. You have to give me a place in your kingdom.” Then the king said, “Okay, how much place should I give you? Ask what you want. Will you occupy a small space?” Kali Yuga said, “I will sit on your head.” The king said, “Impossible!” Therefore, he said, “Be careful. I will not sit on your head; give me a small place.” “Okay, what?” “Gold. Very little gold is placed in the earth.” The king said, “Oh, okay, this you can have.” Kali Yuga disappeared. And he took his kingdom in gold. Then that other king of Kali Yuga was crowned. So what came on the head of the king? A golden crown. And Kali Yuga said to the king, “I am here. I caught you. You became my slave. I am sitting on your head.” What does it mean? Gold. And so the whole world is caught by gold. There is immense fighting and smuggling. Gold, gold. So this is Kali Yuga. And again, this gold has made us slaves, and we are all searching for this gold. Because, it is said, gold remains gold. Gold will remain gold; other currencies will be changed, will be burned. You know, about fifteen or twenty years ago, the Yugoslavian dinar—you had millions, but you could not buy one newspaper with those millions of dinars. But not gold. So, do you have the power to fight against gold? We cannot. We are the slaves of that. But when we realize yoga, then it is said all is like earth, all is like dust. When a small child is only ten months or fifteen months old, for that child, chocolate is more valuable than gold, and they will throw it anywhere. But as you grow, the value of gold comes to you. So, my dear, here we are. We are slaves of this Kali Yuga, running and running to find a job. Because money is gold, and money is god. Kali Yuga has two points: Kali Yuga is based on the name of God, the mantra. Practice, practice, repeat, repeat your mantra. You will come out of the prison of Kali Yuga. Kali Yuga kevala nāmādhāra. Kevala means only. Kali Yuga kevala nāmādhāra—in Kali Yuga, there is only one hope: the name of God. Śmir śmir narhoi bhavaparā. Repeat and repeat your mantra, the name of God. It does not matter which God. God is God. Gold is gold. Maybe you have a different name for gold—I think your name is Zlatka, Zlato, no? But it is the same; we call it sonā, others call it gold. Similarly, God is God. If you say Rāma or Kṛṣṇa, Buddha or Śiva or Jesus, that name is that quality. Namaḥ Śivāya Om Namaḥ Śivāya Om… I wanted to wake you up a little; someone was sitting like this. When we chant the name of God, then we need no translation, we need no imagination. We are all concentrated in one. But if you read a lot of books, then your mind wanders here and there, there and there. So mantra is the essence. The great Tulsīdāsajī said in the holy book Rāmāyaṇa, Kali Yuga is only crossed through Bhakti Yoga. So, in this Kali Yuga, one is Kali Yuga. Now, through the yuga, we will bring Satya Yuga. We can, we can, we can make everything. We can achieve everything. As Gāndhījī said, “Be the change you want to see.” So let us change Kali Yuga into Satya Yuga. Brahma satya, jagat mithyā. If we get Brahmajñāna, then we will cross the ocean of ignorance of this worldly life. But for this, we have to tune our brain centers, adjust different screws. We need a certain tonic, and that tonic is Āyurveda. We survive through nourishment: liquid water, juice, milk, yogurt, honey, nuts, herbs, grains, etc. That is Āyurveda. Āyur means age—we ask, “What is your āyur?”—how old are you? Ayush means long life. For what? To realize yoga. Āyur Veda: Veda means knowledge. So there are many different kinds of Vedas, many types of knowledge. The main Vedas are four. But there is also Āyurveda, and it is called singing—Gandharveda. The Gandharvas are the singers in Svarga Loka, the heavenly singers. Heaven and hell: when your time is over and all your karmas are paid back, you come back again to this mortal world. When you do very good karmas, you go to Svarga Loka. And Āyurveda was developed in Svarga Loka. In Svarga Loka, in heaven, all are young, no one is ill, everyone is happy. You enjoy as much as you like: eat, sing, dance, sleep—no sorrows, no pain. How nice. And that is what they say in Islam. Sedam? What a poor boy! Do you think you will get seven? You will get seven punishments. In heaven, there are no desires, no passion, nema strasti. There is only joy, samo radost, happiness, sreća, divine, božanska glories, slava. That's it. So, whoever comes into heaven, or Svargaloka, or Paradise—the name is the same—there, Devas, who come as males, are called Devas, not God. But you can compare something to God; some call them semi-Gods. And semi-Gods are those Devas who come to Svargaloka. And what about women? I've forgotten. I forgot. Oh God. Yes, the women. They are worshipped as Devī, as Divine Mother, as Śakti, with equal respect and equal energy; there is no difference. So these are those holy women, whom in Christianity you declare as holy—some nun, holy. But they also declare some men as holy. It is the same. There is no difference of gender. They are in heaven, but their energy is here. Their name is here, and it connects us with that energy. What they say there to God, to Brahmā: “God, when we receive all the credit of our good karma to be in heaven, then we will come again to the mortal world, Mṛtyuloka.” You go to a seven-star hotel or a multi-star hotel, and you have all the comforts, service, dining, everything. But at eleven o’clock, you have to check out. The game is finished, and the money is gone. Now you have to go back to the slave locale. So it is said, “Lord, Lord” is not a proper name for God. The word “Lord” is an English word: house lord, landlord. How can we compare God to a house lord? Therefore, in Sanskrit, it is the best: Brahman, Brahman, Brahman. So it is said, “O God, if you send me back to Mṛtyu Loka, please give me again human life.” Yes, when a prime minister or president has five years, he’s enjoying his presidency. Then he loses everything. Then he’s drinking beer and asking, “Please, more.” And they say, “Yes, Mister. He remembers. They called me ‘Excellency,’ and now I am ‘Mister’—decreasing.” Therefore, it is said, “God, after Svargaloka, heaven… please give me again human life, so that through bhakti, through Gurudeva’s mercy, I may come again to Gurudeva, who can bless me for the Brahmaloka.” Other actions will bring you Svargaloka or Narakaloka. But through the Guru, bhakti brings you to Brahmaloka. That’s it. What did you sing? Who understood what we sang? Hands up. Very good. And who did not understand? Yes. Okay. So, we will speak after Āyurveda. So, Āyurveda is that which prolongs our life to achieve our destination. Āyurveda supports us to live a healthy, happy, and long life. Āyurveda is nourishment for the physical body, the astral body, and the mental body. Āyurveda does not act immediately. One person said, “I can’t feel Āyurveda. In allopathy, I take medicine and immediately my headache is finished.” Āyurveda also has immediate remedies. But unnecessarily, where there is a need of a little needle, do not use the cannon. So Āyurveda does not use the cannon unnecessarily. This is the only excuse. Okay, we can give you an experience. We give you a tiny, tiny ball of Āyurveda—not a capsule, smaller than a capsule—and within half an hour, you have to go to the toilet. But you cannot get up. You cannot get up from the commode. What does it mean? “Am I paralyzed? Do I have a problem with my knee?” No. You stand up halfway, and again something is forcing you down; again you sit down. It is called Mr. Diarrhea. So Āyurveda has a very good effect, but it does so without side effects. Allopathic medicine has its roots in Āyurveda. Every medicine that is allopathic has its name in Latin or in Sanskrit, from herbs. But they manipulated herbs through chemicals. Due to the chemical, there is a side effect. You lose your shirt; you hold your shirt, and the cap is falling. You take care of the cap, but the trousers are falling. And you take care of the trousers; your underwear is loose. So when you take allopathic medicine for the heart, it affects your liver, it affects your pancreas, it affects your kidneys, it affects your blood pressure, etc. So there are more side effects. But for certain emergencies, allopathic medicine is good; immediately, it can save your life. So I would not say that Āyurveda is bad or allopathic is bad. Now, we are all addicted to allopathic medicine, and it takes time to come to Āyurveda. And so, Āyurveda takes you completely—to come to Āyurveda for a few years, begin with eating. That is what is meant. Further, we will continue in the afternoon and evening. Enjoy. So, according to the program, I will be here. And now, do you understand Kali Yuga? Yeah, it is the Yuga of the Sleeves. Yeah, that’s it. Alright.
