Ask for the eternal love

The Ātmā is immortal, and the Jīvātmā, the individual soul, shares that immortality but is bound by karma in the cycle of saṃsāra. Our duty is to act with awareness. Every action has a form, and the intellect judges it, but the final choice is ours. True awareness awakens viveka, or discernment, which provides clarity but does not command. We must act rightly, understanding we have no right to judge others, for all actions bring consequences. Life is not easy; we are on a boat in an ocean, seeking the shore, which is the Satguru. The Guru is Parabrahma, beyond all. Do not ask the Guru for worldly things like a job or partner; this is ignorance. Ask only for bhakti, for divine love to fill your heart. This prema is oneness. A true devotee, obedient and without worry, is cared for by the Guru, who provides everything.

"After giving the judgment of the intellect, then your awareness awakens. That is very important."

"Prem kā pyālā, oh Lord, oh my God, oh my Gurudev Mahāprabhujī, can you fill it, my part of my heart, full of that devotion?"

Our Ātmā and our Jīvātmā. Ātmā is ajara amara (ageless and immortal). Jīvātmā is also with the Ātmā, which is amar (immortal). But Jīvātmā is involved with a lot of karma. And it is the dharma of the jīva to continue life. It is said the mother earth will never lose the seed. Similarly, in this creation, the Jīvātmā has that immortality to give further. So the jīva is manipulating into the endless. The one seed sprouts and grows and gives many, many seeds. So this creation is endless, but the consciousness, with this awareness, with this Jīvātmā, is either involved in this saṃsāra or goes towards the higher level of consciousness. That one has an awareness: "I am very aware of what I am doing and what I am not doing." Whatever we do, we should not overthink. Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa said in the Karma Yoga chapter of the Bhagavad Gītā, "Oh Arjuna, whatever you do, you should know what is the form of your action. Not only that, you like to do it. You like it, you want to have it. But first, you should know the form of our action." And when we come to know that action, then it has two sides, negative or positive, that goes from our emotion, our mind, to intellect. Intellect gives judgment, but not that kind of judgment that you should do it. That intellect will tell, "This is this." Now, if you do it, it's your choice. As we spoke before noon about the indriyas and different kinds of actions, reactions, and functions in this body. So even our intellect does not give that judgment that you should do it. But that intellect is giving judgment that this is the water in this glass. If you want to drink or you don't want to drink, this is your choice. And you don't know in this clean water if there is poison or nectar. So after giving the judgment of the intellect, then your awareness awakens. That is very important. Are you aware? When you drive the car on the road, you must be very aware. From all the four sides: the front, the rear, right and left. The other, who is driving with you in the car, the passengers, they are not aware because they have no responsibility. But the responsibility is with that driver. So it doesn't matter how much talk is there, you are speaking to your co-driver, but your awareness, your attention is with the road. If you should overtake or not, if you are driving right or not. Who is behind? Who is beside? Who is in front? So be aware, be aware. Awareness is that kind of awareness; this is our protection. Awareness is that kind of light which will awaken us. It will keep you always alert. After that, when Kṛṣṇa spoke about karma, whatever action you do, whatever karma you do, you should know the form of the karma. And when you will know the form of the karma, your intellect will give you the judgment. And that judgment will come to the awareness. At that time, in that awareness, our viveka awakens. And Viveka gives the clear judgment, clarity. Viveka also doesn't tell you. It is your desires, it is your choice. But the Viveka will tell, it is a fire; if you put your hand into the fire, you will burn. Or deal with this fire with alertness, awareness, concentration. So the Jīvātmā, which is constantly facing the karma's actions, and if we take action, we should do right. You should not do wrong. So what we call my right or your right. So my indriyas, my organs in my body, my digestive, my brain, all of it is mine. They belong to me. And I have a right for my kidneys to be in my body. I have a right to have my heart in my body. You want to take it away. I would not give you. But of course, with violence, you can take my heart, and I will die. So, life is what we think is very easy, but don't take it easy. Consequences will come after. Who are you to give judgment about others? You have no right to give the judgment, because mentally, or verbally, or physically, whatever action you will do. Or you judge someone or something, you know what result you will have, what karma will come to you. Like Mahāprabhujī said, "Don't go against the nature. Otherwise, the nature will take action." You have to suffer the consequences. Therefore, life is not so easy. But when we are blind with our greed, and greed is physical, mental, emotional, etc. So we should not take away from someone. And don't let them take away from you someone. That is your life. So we are on the boat, in the middle of the ocean. We can't jump out. That will be the end of our life. Now we cannot get out. We are in the middle of the ocean, thousands of kilometers, and there is not a single soul. We are like this, so this Jīvātmā is in the saṃsāra. And this saṃsāra is a boat, and we are in this boat. We know on which place, this time, on the mainland, we will land it. So we are searching, and that is our beloved Satguru Dev. Mādhavānandjī Bhagavān. Gurujī had a very high spiritual consciousness. Gurujī had very brilliant awareness, consciousness, knowledge, etc. Only in a few minutes, he could write one beautiful bhajan. On which subject do you want? And I want to give you today one work, one duty. And I give you three days. Write one bhajan, and then we will know what is the difference between ātmā jñāna and only worldly knowledge. That is, you cannot write a bhajan until your heart is pure. It has to awake in the heart and then into our brain. Because it is said that point, what is the translation? Very good. So we are in this solar system, and we know how far it is. And it's radiating in every direction. We don't know how many millions of kilometers or billions within the solar system, what is existing: all planets, stars, space, etc. So maybe we come to know all this, but this is within this solar system. But an Ātmajñānī, Brahmajñānī, self-realized, who has the knowledge of the Brahman, so that's called that master. Gurudev is Parabrahma. He can do everything, and he is beyond. So, Kabir is a point. A wise person. It can also be an artist. Don't disturb the artist; don't give suggestions to the artist, or it will never be finished. Let his hands free. The artist, a painter, when the artist, a painter is painting, with such a knowledge, you can listen to the resonance of a painting and you can make music out of it. Or someone who sings or plays the instrument, the artist can paint a beautiful picture out of your music. Others, we don't understand. So, the point can go beyond the sun rays. Therefore, Holy Gurujī said, 21,000 sun systems—a Brahmajñānī can cross above that. Only with one, the boat of the Gurudev. Other than this, all many ceremonies and all devas and devīs, they will stay here. Therefore, Guru Brahmā, Guru Viṣṇu, Guru Devo Maheśvara, Guru Sākṣāt Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Guruve Namaḥ. Gurudev is Viṣṇu, Gurudev is Śiva, and He is beyond them, Parabrahma. Tasya Śrī Gurudevaya Namaḥ, I bow down to the Holy Lotus Feet of that Sat Gurudev. Dhyānamūlaṁ Guru Mūrti, therefore we shall meditate on that embodiment of the Gurudev. Pūjāmūlaṁ Guru Pādaṁ, and we worship, adore the Holy Lotus Feet. Dhyānamūlaṁ Guru Mūrti, Pūjāmūlaṁ Guru Pādaṁ, Mantramūlaṁ Guru Vākyaṁ. All mantras are behind. Only Guru Vākya. Follow that. Definitely, there is truth in it. Then Mokṣa Mūlaṁ Guru Kṛpā. Therefore, only the Gurudev can bless us to attain Mokṣa. There is no other way. Many people go to make different kinds of pūjā, ceremony, this, that. But Gurudev is different, Parabrahma, Gurudev. Parivrājakācārya, Brahmaniṣṭhaśrotriya, this is the quality of the Sadgurudev. So in that, what should I ask the Gurudev for? Should I ask, Gurudev, please, can you bless me that I will have a nice partner? I don't know what you mean about a nice partner. Every partner is a good partner. That's it. All are good. All humans are good. You think you choose a different one? That is your ignorance, and you failed the human life. That's it. So, what should I ask Gurudev for a job? Many times people say, "Swāmījī, can I do? I don't know what I can do, and can you help me to get there?" and this and that. Please support me so that my boss can do good things. Gurujī said, "Just become my sannyāsī, Hari Om. There is no more problem." You don't have to seek any job. Ānanda will always be ānanda. So what should I ask Gurudev to get something? Prem kā pyālā kab bharega? Prem kā pyālā kab bharega? Prem, prema means love. Which love? Eternal immortality, one without second. That immortality is that love that you call God, and God is love. We misuse the words very much now, and therefore, don't use this word anymore: "God is love, and love is God." And you put it all on God's head; it's your mistake, it's your desire, it's your longing. That is wrong. If you say God is love, then give up everything, nothing else, nothing. No money, no work, nothing. Hari Om. Go and sit on the bank of the Danube and meditate. Hari Om Tat Sat. That's it. So that prema is called the oneness of God, the supreme, the highest. Prem kā pyālā. The pyālā means the vessel, the pot. This pot. Which pot? Our body, our heart. This pot should be filled, and only with that prema, not this money prema. Money is God, and God is money. My prema is my God and my money, not anything else. So, Prem kā pyālā, oh Lord, oh my God, oh my Gurudev Mahāprabhujī, can you fill it, my part of my heart, full of that devotion? That bhakti is the nectar. Where there is bhakti, there are no doubts, no impurities, no conflict, no sorrow, no jealousy, nothing. But only oneness in my heart. Gurudev, I don't ask for anything. Only one: Thy bhakti, Thy devotion. That is a prema. Pyālā is our heart. When will you feel it, my heart full of love? Love each and every entity, Mahāprabhujī said. Love each and every entity. If not more, then at least that much, as much as you love thyself. So when you see some creature, or you kill some animal. Why don't you kill yourself first? It means you don't love that one. And when you will love that one. Then it means you will be safe, and that one will be safe. Then both you and he will be saved. Adhānābhikārī, I am a meek one. I am poor. I am hopeless. I have no support. I am the beggar at thy door. Adhānābhikārī, I am standing, waiting, and waiting, and... waiting. I am waiting. My pot is empty. I am standing on thy door, O God. O my merciful one, please fill my pot with that bhakti, that devotion means that love. Who can write such things? Who can understand like this? And though Holy Gurujī had that realization, still, still he was day and night with Gurujī Mahāprabhujī. He became himself Mahāprabhujī. It was turned into the Mahāprabhujī. There was no difference between Gurujī and Mahāprabhujī. But this is a bhakti, a devotee; how can they have that devotion? This whole bhajan, it will take time, and then Mahāprabhujī just looked to Gurujī. This bhajan, Gurujī wrote late after, but I can tell you, there was a time also, Gurujī, Gurujī was very young with Mahāprabhujī. And then after Mahāprabhujī said, "Now you go for bhikṣā," so Gurujī thought, "Where will I go? I don't know anyone who will give me food. Where will I sleep? What will happen? Everything." So Gurujī was a little bit in doubt. So Mahāprabhujī came to Gurujī, and Gurujī stood up in my blood. What can I do for you? Gurujī said, Bhakt Hari kā sacchā hove to kyūn man mein ghabrāyā? Bhakt Hari kā sacchā kyūn man mein ghabrāyā? Āyā kar dho, āyā kar dho, ājā rayā marā Prem kā pyālā, Hari kab merā bharā? Prem kā pyālā merā kab adnā bhikārīyām khaḍe khaḍe tarsī. Immediately, Mahāprabhujī filled the pot. Mahāprabhujī said to Gurujī, "Why are you worried? I will make even thy body immortal, not only your soul. But through and through, you will be the immortal Mādhavānand. If you are a true devotee of the Lord, if you are a real devotee of God or Gurudev, if you are a true devotee of the Lord, why are you afraid in your mind? Then why are you scared in your mind? That is a sādhanā; that is the highest level of the yoga techniques. Others are doing prāṇāyāma, and then, boom, boom, that's everything, okay. This and that, so that's called the inner sādhanā of the Gurudev. But you know, you have to obey. You have to do the sādhanās. If Gurudev said, 'Only stay here under this tree until I come back,' so you will not go out of this tree. Don't think, 'What will you drink?' What will you eat? What will be when it's raining? What will be when it's very cold or very hot? Don't think anything. Guru Dev said, 'You have to stay here, that's all.' As long as you have a few minutes or a few hours. Maximum one day, then you want to go away. You want to go for a walk. You are hungry. Nobody brought water, nobody brought food. Bhakta will never worry about that." Mahāprabhujī said to Gurujī, in this bhajan, so Mahāprabhujī said to Gurujī, why are you thinking like this? Who will give me food? Where will I be? Even you will be on the peak of the high mountains. No one is very hard to reach that. Mādhavānand, I will bring food for you there when you are hungry. There. And not only for you, those who are your bhaktas, with all I will give them. Why are you worried? Therefore, don't worry about it. Just do your duty and keep your bhakti as it is. Dhyānaṁ Bhagavān, Satguru Swāmī Mādhavānandjī Bhagavān, Jai Guru.
