Practice and be careful

The discourse covers the morning prayer to Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, the power of devotion, and pilgrimage to Alakhpurījī’s abode.

The morning āratī prayer was written by the Mahārāja of Kaṭhubāṛī, a devotee of Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī. He sought a blessing to adopt an heir for the throne. The outcome appears in the Līlā Amṛt. Prayer purifies the antaḥkaraṇa—mind, intellect, memory, and ego. Morning and evening prayers cleanse all thoughts and actions. Anuṣṭhāna, a five-week practice, purifies negative energies and worldly tensions. Completion of anuṣṭhāna with guidance brought happiness. The prayer’s mention of Alakhpurījī deepens awareness of him as a great ṛṣi, a form of Śiva. Gurujī composed bhajans that include Alakhpurījī’s name. Alakhpurījī comes from Brahmaloka, existing since Śiva’s time. The Alakṇandā river serves as evidence. The Nanda Devī region contains the capital of the Devpurījīs and the divine treasure of Kubera. Pilgrims travel to Alakhpurījī’s cave; it is not deep but has a dangerous inner section. Following instructions prevents getting lost forever in the mountains. Kubera mountain is at 3,200 meters, requiring slow ascent. Devotees bring offerings like almonds, grains, and small stones, and a dhūni fire with holy ash is present. Blessings flow from the Alakhpurījī Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā lineage.

“Prayer purifies antaḥkaraṇa. Manas, buddhi, citta, ahaṅkāra—this is antaḥkaraṇa.”

“Dīn bandhu dīna nāt meri dori tere hāt.”

This prayer, "Tato Modlitba Manare Aarti Sanjaun Slipuja Deep Dev Purisa Bhagavanki," is an āratī prayer written by the Mahārāja of Kaṭhubāṛī. He was a great devotee of Bhagavān Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī. And on that chair of the king, after many generations, an heir had to be adopted. That Mahārājā or Thakur asked Mahāprabhujī, Guru Dev, "Now I am aged, me and my wife. So please bless us to have someone whom we can adopt as the following king for this king’s chair." Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā Mahāprabhujī kī Karatā... And he is now in Kattu, and one brother and daughter, yes, sister. Unfortunately, they passed away. So it’s also in the Līlā Amṛt. Well, this is a morning prayer you can use. "Deep Dayāl Kṛipāl Mahāprabhu Rako Lājamārī" is also our prayer. Prayer purifies antaḥkaraṇa. Manas, buddhi, citta, ahaṅkāra—this is antaḥkaraṇa. Antaḥkaraṇa means the inner activities. Any thoughts you had, good or bad, are purified through prayers. And what happens the whole night, or daytime, all activities? Then we have evening prayers. About prayer, many times Gurujī spoke a lot about it. "Dīn bandhu dīna nāt meri dori tere hāt." O Lord of the meek, the rope of my life, the string of my life, is in your hands. So, our anuṣṭhāna, what we had for five weeks, it was great. And I’m very happy that you all successfully completed your anuṣṭhāna. Anuṣṭhāna is occasional. The techniques explained after satsaṅgs, before satsaṅgs, purify our negative energies, our doubts, worldly tensions, and many things. And in the presence of the guide, we make the anuṣṭhāna. So this is very, very important, the sādhanā. And in this sādhanā, we have the guide and blessing of our holiness. In this prayer, Alakhpurījī’s name is also mentioned. So that is how we are now becoming more and more aware. It opens in our heart and in our consciousness that a great, great ṛṣi like Śiva, the form of Śiva, we are coming to know him more and more. And I was researching, looking to know more about him. Gajananjī was asking Gurujī to make Devpurījī’s bhajana. You asked him? Yes. So Holī Gurujī wrote one, two bhajans, Śrī Devpurījī Kabhala also. There also comes Alakhpurījī’s name. So now some bhaktas, lucky are they, blessed are they, they are making pilgrimage. To Alakhpurījī’s Kufā cave, it’s not in the mountain deep. There is one cave, but that goes deep in. And you know how our bhaktas are, they don’t follow instructions. And suddenly, if you go in another direction in the cave, then it’s turning to the other side. Then, your whole life you will wander in the mountains. So, Alakhpurījī knew that innocent bhaktas would come with a lot of bhakti, devotion, and emotion. So, there was another place where sometimes Alakhpurījī resided there. He was in the whole Himalaya, and he is from Brahmaloka, from Śiva’s time. So, our evidence is this Alakṇandā river. There was a holy mother, we call her Devī, Śakti, like Durgā, Kālī, etc. And that is called Nanda Devī. And this Nanda Devī is the whole area, now dedicated to the Nanda Devī. And there is also the capital of the Devpurījīs. Also, what we call the treasure of God. And that’s the Kubera mountain. It’s not at a very high altitude. It’s 3,200 meters. So, if you follow the rules, it’s not so dangerous. Walk slowly and take a few days to come up. So, we will sometimes have more. So many people who couldn’t come will come. And, of course, everyone will bring something for you. Just like almonds. Or this little other, little of what you call them, grains. So your friends will bring a handful of these little stones, and you can give them to your friends. That’s it. So we will have the dhūni, fire, and also that holy ash will always be there. So, I wish you all the best. Please practice, take care, and receive the blessings of our holy chair, Alakhpurījī Siddha Pīṭha Paramparā. With this, all the best. Alakhpurījī Mahādev, Devādhidev, Deveśvar Mahādev, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān, Satya Sanātana Dharma, Kī Jai. Vishwaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvarānanda, is that ghee? A little ghee? So also, Hari Om.
