Kriya Yoga and Meditation for hatha yogis

The practice is a Haṭha Yoga kriyā using ascending and descending resonance.

Sit straight and generate inner happiness. Chant Oṃ eleven times. Concentrate between the navel and the crown. The resonance travels from the navel center upward to the heart, throat, and crown, then descends through the brow directly to the navel. This sound resonance is called Sahajanāda. It opens the central channel passing through the spine. Practice twenty-one rounds daily. It removes tension and stress, expands vision and thought, and leads consciousness toward Brahman. This is a high kriyā for Haṭha Yogīs. Conclude by folding hands and smiling.

"Imagine and mentally let this Sahajanāda travel from Maṇipūra to Sahasrāra."

"This Nāda, Resonance, Sound... leads the consciousness to Brahman."

Sit straight. Feel good. Generate happiness within yourself. Consider what attachment you can renounce, just for this half hour. Can you renounce and still wear a smile? We will chant Oṃ eleven times. We begin the Haṭha Yoga lecture, and we will have one demonstration. So, first, eleven times Oṃ. Smiles—I didn't see them, but he is still smiling. Concentrate on the navel. Navel, heart, vocal cord. Little children can go a little outside. Śrī Śrī... Very good. Now we go from the Sahasrāra cakra to Maṇipūra. From Maṇipūra, we begin with "Aum," and now we will take the same "Aum," "Rām." It is like this. I will demonstrate. I am breathing deeply. Concentrate between the navel and the Sahasrāra cakra. This sahajanāda—between the Maṇipūra and Sahasrāra cakras—is an ascending and descending resonance. Imagine and mentally let this Sahajanāda travel from Maṇipūra to Sahasrāra. It goes from Maṇipūra to Anāhata, from Anāhata to Viśuddhi, from there going to the nectar, Bindu, then to Sahasrāra. From Sahasrāra, through the light of the Ajña Cakra, it goes directly to the Maṇipūra, the Vijayamantra, Rāma. This nāda, the resonance, the sound. This Nāda, Resonance, Sound. The bankanālā opens for the, what we call, the Haṭha Yogī. Kī nālikā bankanālā, a Haṭha Yogī samārā. Concentrate on this Sahajānanda Rūpa Parabrahma, which leads the consciousness to Brahman. Ascending from the navel to the Sahasrāra Cakra and descending from the Sahasrāra Cakra to Maṇipūra. It becomes our karma. Come. Awakening of the fire and the sound. This is the rāva. The rāva is the Maṇipūra cakra, and that is what the Haṭha Yogī perfects through this nāda. The Maṇipūra Cakra and the Māta Yogī reach perfection with this Nāda. Fold your hands. Bring a smile to your face with closed eyes. Let’s see your teeth. Asato mā sadgamaya. Śrī Lakpurījī Mahādeva, Devadhī Deva, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhagavān, Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Kī Jaya, Satya Sanātana, Oṁ Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. This technique is a kriyā, a Kriyā Yoga for the Haṭha Yogīs. And this is a very, very high Kriyā. But you can practice, and we will see the result. You should practice every day, twenty-one rounds. One round is: let the resonance resonate in our whole brain. It removes all tensions, all stress, and we feel free in our brain, expanding our visions, our activities, our thoughts. And whatever you want to create—some kind of ideas, making some plans—not only in this mṛtyuloka, but into the Brahmaloka. That is the aim of the Haṭha Yogī. You have physical exercises, you have mental exercises, you have energy exercises, you have clarity, happiness. So this bankanālā, the bankanālā which is going, passing through the spinal column. So rest. We will have [session in the] evening. Wish you all the best. Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān kī jaya. Ādio.
